Link walks with Zelda to confront Calamity Ganon.

The return of Calamity Ganon is imminent in Hyrule, so the king Rhoam Bosphoramus assembles a knight, 4 champions, and his daughter Zelda to train to fight Calamity Ganon. As time goes on, the Champions learn more about each other, and become friends with each other.

While the rest of the world sleeps, Paya investigates a peculiar bump in the night. [Zelink]

Ever since Hilda accidentally sent Ravio back to Hyrule instead of Link, he's been working as the royal family's economic advisor. In that time, he's come to greatly admire Zelda, and wishes he could be more like her. But it turns out, Zelda just wants him to be, well, him.

The light spirits have abandoned Hyrule, plunging it into an ever-lasting night. Zelda's husband says that the light was stolen away. He says that the Twili are to blame. But Midna? She calls him a liar; she calls the missing daylight a burning apocalypse upon her realm; and she calls upon Link to betray his comrades, his prince, his queen, and his kingdom. Premise-reversal AU.

Link and friends old and new set out on a journey. Their goal is to repair the breach Gannon created. They seek to find the lost races and reclaim their greater kingdom. This is a sequel to my short story Sacred Twilight. While reading it isn't necessary to enjoy this tale. I recommend checking it out to see his new non-cannon mindset and abilities. Continuing from the Gerudo Desert cutscene with Link's recovering memories in Breath of the Wild, Zelda and Link head to Gerudo Town and other places as Zelda tries to continue to unlock her powers to prevent the Calamity and fight this growing connection with the Hylian Champion.

The Shadow Invasion left wounds across both Hyrule and the Twilight Realm, and neither Zelda nor Midna are eager to face the task of binding them up. Old prejudices and weaknesses are laid bare, and the idea is posed of reuniting the two realms to prosper together. Is their plan a folly born of desperation, or the most revolutionary undertaking either kingdom has seen in centuries?
