One misplaced foot and Carl finds himself stuck with Merle Dixon after the Greene farm fire. His mom always told him everything worked out in the end... but sometimes that's hard to believe.

This is just a short little multichapter reunion fiction I was inspired to write after the Season 11/Part: A Finale so it diverges from the canon material almost immediately from that point in the story. This entire thing flowed out of me over the course of like three days and I wrote it so fast, that I didn't even name the chapters.
