Chapter 70-Making moves

Murphy's P.O.V

Murphy walked into the war room with Clarke, Lexa, Raven, Octavia, Alden, Blair, Anya, Luna, Jasper, Varys, Beth, Bonnie, Indra, and Kane. "What is this meeting about?"

"All the clans that are on Lucy's side are now in Azgeda," Anya says.

"That means we can't attack villages or try and weaken her," Raven says.

"Why don't we just challenge Lucy to a fight? One fight, our army against hers," Bonnie offers.

"I don't want half of our population to be wiped out," Lexa growls. "So many would die that way. I would like to reduce that number."

"And Lucy wouldn't do it anyways. She knows she'll lose on the battlefield. We have more men and more weapons," Clarke explains. "Why do you think she took all of her men to Azgeda. If we attacked there, at least she would have a better chance."

"Then what do we do?" Alden asks.

"Miller, Roan, Echo, and Emori have gone on a mission to hopefully get rid of their Skaikru members," Lexa says. "Until they get back, we do nothing. I want everybody to start and build up the defenses of Polis," Lexa orders.

"You'll think she'll attack, Polis?" Luna asks.

"I don't know what she'll do. I want to be prepared for everything," Lexa explains to Luna, who nods.

"Lexa," Murphy says, causing the Commander to look at her. "They wouldn't take their citizens with them, right?"

"Did any of our clans?" Lexa asks Murphy, who shakes his head. "No, probably not."

"What clan leader would you say cares the most about their people?" Murphy asks.

"Shadow Valley clan," Lexa answers. "You want to take their villages hostage," Lexa realizes.

"Who's the leader?" Raven asks.

"Her name is Amy," Lexa answers.

"Would my plan work?" Murphy asks.

"It might," Lexa says. "You'll lead it, she would have taken her fighters, but you'll still find resistance."

"I get a group together," Murphy says. Lexa nods, and everybody leaves.

Lucy's P.O.V

Lucy stood in her war room with Pike, Logan, Emma, Mance, Bryan, Ash, The Shadow Valley clan leader Amy. She was short with black hair and brown eyes. She had a slim build and a sword. The Broadleaf leader, Philip, was tall with black hair and eyes. He had a muscular build and an ax. There was the Glowing Forest clan leader. His name was Dave. He was of average height with an athletic build. He had blond hair and brown eyes. He had a sword and a dagger. The last clan was the Delphi clan leader, Summer. She was short with red hair and blue eyes. She had a slim build and two swords. "Before we start, Philip, good job with Wells Jaha."

"He was weak," Philip says. "So, from my understanding, Lexa has already taken out one of our clans. How are we going to hit them back."

"Good question," Mance says as he looks at Lucy.

"When we drive them out of Polis, they will go to one place to finish this. They took out a clan. Let's take out their last place to retreat to."

"Where is that?" Amy asks.

"Outcast Falls," Lucy says. "We're going to destroy Outcast Falls and kill every person there, get an army together."

Murphy's P.O.V

Murphy sat on the couch. Raven opened the door and looked at him. "Have you decided who you're taking?"

"Lexa said to take 30 men. Jasper gave me ten, and Varys gave me 15. I decided I would pick the last five," Murphy says.

"I better be on that list," Raven says to Murphy, who smiles.

"You are," Murphy says as Raven comes over to him and sits on his lap. "I think Bellamy, Ontari, Lincoln, and Nyko, he can fight and help anybody who gets injured," Murphy says.

"I'll get them. We can try and leave by tonight," Raven says. Murphy nods. Raven kisses him and leaves.

Miller's P.O.V

Miller walked at the front of the group. They were in Trikru territory, Miller and Roan were at the front, and Echo and Emori were in the back. "So, do we have a plan to get Bryan?" Emori asks.

"Nope," Miller says, "I imagine he will be around Pike, that is why you two are here, you know Azgeda the best, the scout said that Skaikru is at the end of Azgeda. We might have to watch them for a day or two, but we need to learn their movements and decide the best point to talk to Bryan alone,"

"Lucy has to be preparing her first move after we took out the Blue Cliff clan," Emori says.

"She won't attack a clan. All the clan leaders are in Polis," Echo says.

"Who knows what her next move will be, but we'll be prepared," Roan says. They nod as they continue to walk.

Lucy's P.O.V

Lucy looked at Ruby as she trained with Mance. Emma walked up beside her and sat down. "We've lost more than them," Emma says.

"Yes, we have. Just because Alice is dead and we lost the Bluecliff clan doesn't mean we've lost," Lucy says. "I wished Alice didn't die, the girl was stupid and mad in love, but she was good in bed," Lucy says.

"How is the girl doing?" Emma asks as she looks at Ruby.

"She is a fast learner," Lucy says flatly. "She should be ready to go to Polis by the end of the week."

"Good, maybe she could help us or kill that bitch," Emma says.

"That is the plan," Lucy says. Emma nods as she stands.

"If you need someone to share your bed, come find me," Emma says before she walks away. Lucy smiles.

Clarke's P.O.V

Clarke walked into Murphy's room. He was sharping his ax. "Lexa said you'll be leaving in the next few hours," Clarke says.

"That's the plan. Everybody is preparing to leave," Murphy says as Clarke walks over to him and sits down. "I know you're scared."

"Can you blame me? Wells ran into a clan that is with Lucy and died. Now you are running into one," Clarke says.

"Wells got caught off guard, and it was just him and Daisy. I'll have thirty people with me. They aren't killing me, Clarke. Do you know why?"

"Because you're a cockroach," Clarke says with a smile.

"That's right," Murphy says with a smile. "I got a life ahead of me. I have to get married and have kids and show them all the ways to mess with their aunt Clarke."

"Seems like you have been thinking about this," Clarke says. Murphy stands up and walks to the side of the bed. He lifts the mattress and grabs a ring out. "You're going to propose," Clarke says with a grin.

"I was going to do it on the road, but now that won't happen. I don't know when I'll do it when the time feels right, I guess," Murphy says.

"You've been together three months," Clarke says. "I'm not saying you shouldn't do it. I'm just making sure you are sure."

"I am. Life on the ground is uncertain. Wells's death proved that I need her to know how much I love her," Murphy says. "I've never been so sure about anything in my life."

"Then you should do it," Clarke says. "Maybe after the war, I'll follow your path."

Murphy smiles as he kisses her head. "I'll see you in a few days," Clarke nods as he leaves the room.

Lexa's P.O.V

Lexa looks at Murphy as he walks into the throne room. "You got the map?" Murphy asks Lexa, who nods as she walks over to the table and grabs the map. She holds it out to Murphy, who grabs it. "You know, when I first met you, I thought you were going to be dead by the end of the war. I thought you were just some asshole who got lucky."

Murphy smiles. "If it makes you feel any better, I thought you were just some bitch who fucked the right people and climbed the ladder all the way to the top,"

Lexa chuckles. "What do you think me now?"

"I think you are someone who has earned their position and would do anything to protect your people and the people you love, I think you are the only person right for Clarke, and I'm glad to call you my friend," Murphy says.

"I think the same of you," Lexa says as she walks up to Murphy and hugs him. "Be safe, and come back to us alive."

"I will," Murphy says. "I got a group to lead, Commander," Lexa nods as Murphy leaves the tower.

Kane's P.O.V

Kane walked into the room that Octavia worked in and walked in. "Are your duties as a general stopping you from talking to your father?" Kane asks. Octavia looks up and smiles.

"I am pretty busy, Dad," Octavia says with a smile as she stands up and hugs Kane. "So what is it? I have a feeling you aren't here only to talk to your daughter,"

"You're right," Kane says. "So, I know a way we can increase our chances of winning."

"How is that?" Octavia asks as she crosses her arms.

"What is that?"

"When we were clearing Mount Weather, I may have hidden away some weapons that were there, bombs, ammo, stuff like that," Kane says.

"Why?" Octavia asks.

"It was a precaution, just in case Lexa tried something," Kane says.

"Where did you hide them?" Octavia asks Kane.

"Two places, the dropship and the bunker," Kane says.

"The bunker that Bellamy and Clarke went to?" Octavia asks Kane, who nods. "Okay, tomorrow we'll take a group out to get them."

"We can take Monty and Harper. They can help us," Kane offers. Octavia nods as Kane leaves the room.

Lucy's P.O.V

Lucy looked at Logan and Philip. "Are our armies ready?" Lucy asks them.

"Yes," Logan says.

"Good leave tonight, get as far as you can before morning, and make sure you are hidden from the Commander's scouts when you get into Trikru territory," Lucy orders the two, who nodded. "I want this done in the next two days. Go," The two men nod as they leave. Lucy leaves the room. "Tell Emma to meet me in my room," Lucy tells a guard as she walks away.
