Ryu Otsutsuki: Alright, thanks.

Guest: Artemis as in the Greek goddess Artemis? Why?

Kriim-Sauce786: Dude, he found the woman he loved and wanted to marry in bed, cheating on him with someone he was close to like a brother. How do you bloody think he's going to feel after 200 years? Nobody can just be like "Alright, that happened. I accept it. Let's be friends?" And considering the fact it's two of the closest people in his life sans his parents? That's going to hurt and hurt a LOT. It's a emotional scar that doesn't easily go away, especially for a being that has a longer lifespan than humans.

Sheploo: The chick from fate/Grand Order? Meh, Yasaka's hotter in my opinion.

Disclaimer: I do not own High School DxD, only the OC Damian Mammon.

Damian drove towards the town of Kuoh on the back of a black motorcycle, which was a Kawasaki Ninja H2R, his coat flapping in the wind as he speed down the road and past the city limit. The sun beat down in the sky with very few clouds being present in the sky. It was a pretty nice day in his view.

After leaving the Underworld and knowing he could not just stay anywhere too long due to his power signature being recognizable. So he moved from place to place, usually camping in nearby woods and using magic he knew to set up a tent that was bigger on the inside, yeah kinda like Doctor Who.

A month had past since he left Kyoto and said goodbye to Yasaka and Kunou. He traveled on foot across Japan and was now currently nearing a small town by the name of Kuoh. He normally visited Kyoto every few months where he would stay for about a week before he left to travel again.

Since he had traveled pretty much the entire world during his two hundred years away from home, there was honestly little left for him to see and more and more he began staying in certain countries that he enjoyed with Japan being at the top of the list. He just found Japanese culture and the country itself very beautiful and a pleasant place to live in.

As he entered the town of Kuoh, he frowned as already he could sense a few Devils and Fallen Angels in the area but it was nothing he couldn't handle. None of them were above his power level or anywhere near it, nor were any of the Devils above the power of a High-Class Devil. However, it would be best for him to keep a low profile while he was here and camp in the woods at an area that allows him to overlook the city. He knew this town was the territory of one of the Devil families, however he didn't know which one.

If a confrontation happened, he'll have to handle it quickly.

Eventually entering the woods and ditching his motorcycle, Damian found a good spot in the woods at the edge of a cliff overlooking the city and giving a great view of it. It would be a good area if a couple were to come stargazing. Damian set up his bigger on the inside tent and started getting to work on a campfire, easily using his elemental control of fire to create a campfire.

His attention snapped to the bushes when he heard the sound of rustling in the bushes, not from the wind, but from something moving within. Damian's eyes narrowed as he whipped out one of his guns, Luce, which translates to 'Light' and was a gun used for holy light and bullets made of holy light, useful against Stray Devils. He had a gun to be it's counterpart, Ombra, which means 'Shadow' and fired bullets made of darkness and sometimes charged with his demonic-holy power.

Damian blinked in surprise when a black cat with hazel eyes came out of the bushes and looked at him, tilting it's head rather cutely, then it saw the meal he was cooking and eyed it hungrily.

Damian looked back and fourth before he gave a small sigh and took a piece and held it out.

"Go on." He said and watched as the cat slowly came forward, sniffed the fish before began eating it hungrily. Eating silently and giving the cat an extra fish since it was looking up at him with big, glossy amber eyes. "You must've been very hungry."

The cat approached him and rubbed itself against his legs, purring. Damian smiled a bit and started petting the cat before scratching it behind it's ears and got louder purrs in return. He kept it up for a few minutes before he picked the cat up by the scruff of its neck and held it in front of his face, seeing the confused look on the cat's face.

"Now why don't you tell me who you are and why you're here." Damian said with a serious look. "I recognize the smell of a Devil when I smell it, but I also smell Nekomata in you as well."

Before either could respond, a new power appeared coming towards him that made himself and the cat look in that direction.

He felt the cat shake a little and saw a tiny look of fear in it's eyes. Damian gave a small sigh before he placed the cat down. "Go hide in the tent, I'll handle the unexpected visitor."

All he got was a stare in return before the cat purred at him again and quickly sauntered into the tent and disappeared from site. Thankfully the large tent had similar runes on it and would be hidden from the world.

Sighing and picking up a fish, he sat and ate while he waited.

He didn't need to wait long before he heard footsteps come from behind him. He recognized the power and his eyes were narrowed as he ate.

"You can come out now... Azazel." Damian said with a barely restrained sigh of annoyance as he turned to see a figure come out of the woods.

The figure was a man in his mid to late twenties with black hair with blonde bangs hanging in front of his face. On his face was a small black goatee and had dark pink colored eyes. On his back however were twelve wings as black as night indicating he was a Fallen Angel.

"You're a hard man to find. Two hundred years continuously on the move made you difficult to track," Azazel, Governor of the Fallen Angels, spoke as grin appeared on his face while Damian simply narrowed his eyes.

"And how did you find me, Azazel?" Damian asked.

Azazel puffed out his chest. "The Grigori have spies in every country on the planet. One of my guys felt a rather powerful signature that was Devil and Angel mixed appear a few weeks ago by chance in Kyoto. I knew it was you because there's only one Angel/Devil Nephalem in the Universe. \Took a while to track you down, but we eventually found you."

Damian eyed Azazel carefully. He wouldn't say they were friends, more like acquaintances that won't kill each other. While the man was strong, it was his mind and tactics that many had to keep on their toes around. Before he fell he was one of Heaven's best and would have been a Seraph if he had not given into his desires and sins.

"The last time I saw you, you kicked my ass and buried me into Mount Fuji. It took me two days to dig my way out of that volcano," Azazel said, pouting as Damian ignored the stupid look on his face and just asked him straight out.

"What the hell do you want? I went to a lot of trouble to make many think I was either dead or had vanished off the face of the world." Damian said "You're lucky i don't just obliterate you."

"What, can't I come and see an old friend?" Azazel asked jokingly with a grin but Damian just gave him a blank expression and a look that said 'get to the fucking point or else...' Azazel sighed and got serious. "In the last decade there has been a group beginning to form that could very easily pose a threat to not only the Human World but the Underworld and Heaven as well. This group is a little different from the other sort of groups or factions that have been put together in the past."

Damian tilted his head, listening.

"The group is not just solely one species but made up multiple divisions, each which has a different species of creature occupying it. Angels, Fallen Angels, Devils, Strays, Magicians, Yokai. You name it they have all joined this group," he spoke serious before his eyebrows shot up in surprise when he heard Damian chuckle.

"The Khaos Bridgade." The Nephalem stated.

Azazel's eyes widened. "You know?"

"Of course I do. I listen and watch from the shadows, and I've heard tales and rumours of this group." Damian said as he turned from Azazel. "Plus, they approached me once and asked me to join."

Azazel's eyes widened as fear started creeping u within him. If they had gotten Damian's loyalty...

"Relax, I said no to their offer." Damian waved him off. "Whatever they want, whatever their goal is, I could care less and told them to fuck off and stay away or they'll find themselves meeting Death earlier than they wish. I have no intention of joining them or helping them in anyway."

"Well, that's a relief." Azazel muttered before speaking up. "But they're getting bolder now, and I think whatever they have planned is about to commence. I think your old buddies, the Four Satans, are beginning to notice. I have noticed Sirzechs and Ajuka sending some of their peerage out more and more lately on recon missions. The actions of the Khaos Brigade is beginning to get noticeable."

"I see." Damian said without looking at Azazel. "So how is my old friend, Sirzechs? Betray anybody else lately?"

Azazel winced at the bitter tone he spoke in, mentally fighting over whether he should tell him about a certain piece of information. It was not known publicly around the world but many higher ups were aware of the situation between Sirzechs, Grayfia and Damian.

"What was the last you heard about Sirzechs and Grayfia?" Azazel asked and noticed the twitch in the Nephalem's hand when he said her name.

"Only that he and Grayfia were living a happy life as the mighty power couple of the Underworld. About fifteen years or so I think." Damian shrugged, his tone cold and emotinless.

"Then you should know they had a pretty big life changing experience ten year ago," He said, causing Damian to look at him with a frown. "Grayfia gave birth to a boy."

Damian blinked several times before he looked away by Azazel easily noticed a tear falling before seeing the Nephalem's fists clean and heard him inhaling and exhaling several times.

"What's his name?" Damian asked after a few moments of silence.

"Millicas. They named him Millicas Gremory."

"Millicas huh?" He said as his head gently nodded. "A good name. I imagine the rest of the family is proud. I'm sure the boy will grow up and have great potential from his parents." He shook his head. "We're getting off track here. you didn't come here just to tell me about the actions of the Khaos Brigade, so out with it."

"A lot of things are happening." Azazel said seriously. "Kokabiel is making his move soon, He's been dying to resume the Great War again between Heaven, Hell and the Fallen Angels. And not only that, but I think the Old Satan Faction is part of the Khaos Brigade."

Damian had a dark look at the mention of them. "if they try anything, then I'll make sure they'll regret crawling out of whatever hole they dared to crawl out of. They've hid this long, it seems they've now gathered the courage to come out. They always were cowards."

"Even you can't take them on by yourself." Azazel said seriously. "You can't take them all on by yourself, powerful as you are. From what I can tell they will target the Underworld eventually. Whether it's people or land, a new potential war is brewing…The Underworld will need you."

"Since when did you start caring about Devils?" Damian asked with a raised eyebrow.

"I don't really," he said shrugging. "But many of my brethren live in the Underworld and you and I both know what war can cause. The pain, suffering and death it brings. I don't want to see another war break out."

"You want Devils, Fallen Angels and the Angels to put aside their differences and make peace in order to combat this threat, don't you?" Damian said more than asked.

Azazel nodded. "if we have any chance of winning this, then it can only be done with the Three Factions working together."

Damian remained silence as he thought about this. It was ludicrous. There was so much animosity, grudges and hatred between the Three Factions for a peace treaty to even be considered, even if it was against a common enemy. Devils and Fallen Angels were arrogant and greedy, their pride and egos would blind their judgement.

"You should be telling this to Michael and the Satans, not me." Damian said as he turned to walk to his tent but paused and sighed. "But I'll keep an eye out. But I doubt the Underworld needs me, they've done just fine without me for the past 200 years."

"Your parents haven't." Azazel said, causing Damian to freeze in his tracks. "You can't let your grudge and hatred for what happened keep you from seeing your parents. I speak with Azrael regularly, he misses you, your mother misses you. Just think about it." Azazel went to leave when something came to mind. "oh! And since you're in Kuoh for now, I need a favour from you. Keep an eye on a newly reincarnated Devil under Rias Gremory's service. He has a lot of potential and I have a feeling he is going to be right at the centre of what's to come."

"...I'll think about it." Damian said blankly, though now he knew which terriotry this town belonged to. The Gremory family. Damian heard wings flapping and looked to see Azazel leave and fly off.

Without another word, Damian went into his tent.

The tent itself was a magical tent meaning it was a lot bigger on the inside. While outside it looked like a simple four person tent, inside it was as big as a four bedroom house with a small kitchen with warm colored carpet, mats and furniture. There was even a bathing area.

"Alright, Nekomata, come out now." Damian ordered and saw a cat shadowed figure run along the white sheet.

He then watched as the cat grew and took on a human shape in the form of a woman with a very sizable bust, a pair of cat ears and two tails swaying from behind her.

She sat on a desk, completely nude, crossing one long, smooth leg over the other and gave him a wink.

"Thanks, I owe you one nya~"

Two weeks later

"So that's Rias Gremory, huh?" Damian asked himself as he stood with his arms crossed, watching as Sirzechs' little sister and her peerage were taking on Kokabiel, aided by two Exorcists wielding Holy Swords.

She was a pretty little thing with the familiar red hair and blue-green eyes that he recognized all too well. If not from the hair then he would have mistaken her for Venelena Gremory and could easily recognize her as Lord and Lady Gremory daughter despite never formally meeting her.

Damian shook his head as he watched the rather pitiful display. 'She could be so much more powerful than this. She has the bloody Power of Destruction for God's sake.'

Scanning the school, he could sense another High Class Devil along with their peerage on top of the highest building in the academy. From what he could tell they were creating a barrier to protect the school with. The Devil signature felt strongly like his old friend Serafall.

'Must be her little sister. I had heard that Lady and Lord Sitri had another child. Well done to them.' Damian thought with a smile.

He stood and watched before wincing when the Gremory girl blasted back but get saved by a a brown haired boy who he guessed was part of her peerage. Damian could sense a draconic presence coming from the boy, one he recognised.

"Looks like Ddraig has another host, wonder if Albion does as well." Damian said, having met previous hosts of the Red and White Dragon Emperors and fought them, nearly killing them but only spared them because they had presented a rather good challenge.

He focused on the battle and shook his head. 'They won't last longer against Kokabiel. He's practically playing with them at this point. None of them are anywhere near Kokabiel's level.'

Damian sighed. "Guess I gotta save them. Bloody rookie kids."

He spread his wings, one being an Angel, the other an actual Demon's wing instead of the usual bat-like wing Devils have, and took to the air.

He didn't want to get involve but he couldn't let them die, even if one of them was the sister of that red haired bastard.

"ISSEI!," Rias Gremory shouted as she slid along the floor and caught her pawn Issei Hyoudou before he could hit the ground, cradling his head in her lap as he tried to catch his breath.

"Buchou," He winced out as she cupped his face and looked around on the battlefield. All her peerage members were current down and out for the count. Her Knight Kiba Yuuto, Bishop Asia and Rook Koneko Toujo were unconscious to her left with her wounded Queen, Akeno Himejima standing protectively in front of them.

To her right, the church follower Irina was out for the count while Xenovia was barely standing and using the Durrandal to keep herself up right. Looking behind her, she looked towards Sona and her peerage and could see the sweat along their foreheads. They would not be able to keep the barrier up for much longer.

"Stay behind me, Buchou." Her pawn told her as he shakily stood back up and the gem on his Boosted Gear glowed.

"No Issei, your not strong enough." She said grabbing his arm tightly. "You'll die in your current state."

In front of her, the Fallen Angel Kokabiel was laughing as he began listing reasons why he would not fall and how he would make their deaths as painful as possible.

"Stay with me Issei. Stay with me." Rias whispered to her pawn as she held her arms around Issei protectively, daring the Fallen Angel to make a move.

"It's time to die, Gremory!" Kokabiel called out as light weapons appeared all around him. All Rias could do was gulp and grip Issei even more. It was times like this that she wished she was not so weak. Why she couldn't be more like her brother and sister-in-law?

She closed her eyes, preparing for the end as Kokabiel prepared to throw the spears.

BOOOOOOOOM!

Suddenly something struck Kokabiel so hard he went flying, crashing into the ground and bouncing several times. Kokabiel groaned before he got to his feet with an angry expression.

"WHO DARES INTERFERE?!" Kokabiel yelled.

Everyone looked to where Kokabiel was struck out of the air and saw a figure hovering in the air, two wings spread out but what shocked the Devils and Exorcists was that one wing was that of an Angel's, the other that of a Demon's.

"I dare." The figure proclaimed. "You have been a rabid dog needing put down for too long, Kokabiel. Today is the day someone finally puts you out of your misery."

"Fool. Who do you think you're talking to!" Kokabiel shouted as light swords began appearing all around, all easily as big as cars and made the young devils all gulp when they saw therm. The swords could kill them at any moment.

Damian just tilted his head before he opened his right hand and a sword appeared in it within a flash of black and white light. Looking at the sword, the Devils could feel a demonic yet holy aura coming from it. The sword was a silver-colored longsword. The blade is long and double-edged, with the forward-facing edge curving outward to form the guard. The handguard is is designed to resemble a vortex that reverses at the center of the handguard. The pommel carries a round piece that almost resembles a face. When it is used to attack, it leaves a white streak behind in its wake.

This was Mortem, which meant Death in Latin. And it was quite right. For Damian's father was the Angel of Death himself, so it seemed fitting. Plus, the sword was personally crafted by Azrael and Sarlith with their power, a combination of holy and demonic power, creating a Holy-Demonic sword.

Damian narrowed his eyes as he released a part of his holy-demonic power. However, the moment he did, everyone dropped to the ground as a pressure that one had ever felt before suddenly slammed into them and kept them pinned. Even on the rooftops Sona and her peerage dropped to the ground, releasing the barrier unintentionally.

Kokabiel though had began to sweat, barely able to stand up from the weight of this man's holy-demonic pressure.

Rias and Akeno who were on the ground both gulped as they felt the power coming from the mysterious man. It made their power look tiny in comparison. The only person Rias could think of that had power like this was her brother.

Damian moved his sword in a circle and spectral swords made of holy-demonic power appeared before Damian thrusted the sword through the circle he made, sending the spectral sword sailing at Kokabiel who was too late to dodge and wa sit multiple times in the arms, legs, chest and wings, causing him to scream in before a foot was planted in his face and he was driven into the ground, creating a shockwave that shook the ground.

"Pathetic." Damian muttered before he stabbed Kokabiel through the stomach.

"GGGAAAAHHHH," Kokabiel screamed before Damian shut him up by stomping on his face, ripped his sword out then picked him up before he spun around and then slammed Kokabiel onto his front. Damian stabbed Mortem into the ground, and then gripped two of Kokabiel's wings, placed a foot on his back... and ripped of two of Kokabiel's wings.

Kokabiel screamed in total pain as Damian tore off the rest of Kokabiel's wings until all ten were gone. Damian then grabbed Kokabiel, spun around and then tossed him into the air before he grabbed Mortem, ripped it out of the ground and charged his sword with holy and demonic power then spun around before he sent a crescent shaped wave mixed with holy and demonic power at Kokabiel who's eyes widened just before he was struck.

KABOOOOOM!

An explosion occured when Kokabiel was struck, the brightness causing everyone to cover their eyes until the light died away but when it did, everyone saw there was nothing. No body, no sign of Kokabiel, just... nothing.

He had just been completely wiped off the face of the planet by this mysterious person who had just saved them and in a way shown just how powerless they truly were.

Everyone who was watching which was Rias, Issei, Akeno, Xenovia, Sona and her peerage all stared at the man in sheer amazement for being able to defeat such a powerful Fallen Angel so quickly. While they may have been fighting him beforehand, it was not like they did much too even wound the Fallen one.

The man looked at them for a brief second, sheathed his sword across his back, turned and started walking away while throwing his coat hood up, releasing the pressure of his holy-demonic power.

Rias meanwhile had her eyes fixated on the man in front of them as he continued walking away.

Rias had to know who this person was.

"Are you all alright?" She asked as she turned to face the downed Devils and their allies who just dumbly nodded at her before Rias instructed Issei to go check on the other members, while Akeno walked over to stand by her King as they neared walked towards the mysterious saviour.

Next to her, Rias watched as Sona and Sona's Queen Tsubaki teleported beside them, the heir of Sitri family having similar thoughts to her own.

Seeing he was quickly leaving their line of sight, they ran over and quickly caught up with him and watched as he stopped in his tracks but didn't turn around to face him though they had a feeling he knew it was them.

Damian said nothing nor did he turn to them. He knew they'd want answers. Rias because she had the Gremory curiosity and Sona because she had the Sitri brains like her parents. He didn't turn around but the girls could see he was listening to them.

"T-Thank you for saving us." Rias whispered to her giving her a small bow that was followed by a bow from Akeno, Sona and Tsubaki, even though the man couldn't see it due to having his back to them. "But tell me….just who are you?"

The four girls stood their together all waiting for a response from their mysterious savior. After moment of silence they heard him speak.

"A friend." Was all he said before his wings popped out and with a single slap, he was shooting off into the air.

"Was that it?" Akeno asked with a frown.

"His wings..." Sona muttered as she frowned, thinking on this. "He had an Angel and a Devil's wing. He's a hybrid, a Nephalem."

"A Nephalem?" Rias' eyes widened, as did Akeno's and Tsubaki's. Akeno looking at where said Nephalem had taken off. Was she like her?

"there's only one Nephalem recorded in history, especially in our world but..." Sona's eyes widened before she looked at her Queen, Rias and Akeno. "I think we just got saved by Damian Mammon..."

Yep, Damian risked revealing himself to deal with Kokabiel. he didn't do it for anyone's sake, well probably Serafall's since she's his good friend and she'd probably hate him if she found out her sister died when he could've stepped in and saved her, so he did that out of his friendship with Serafall.

And now, Rias and Akeno know who he is because a hero like Damian, who fought in the Civil War, would be well known even to the younger generation who'd read the stories.
