Wealth, Fame, and Power! W. D. Gaster, The King of The Pirates, had all those and the rest of what the world had to offer! Through many battles and trials, he had reached the pinnacle of the world's virtues and had nothing left but an illness that plagued him.
He brought himself in and was held at a worldwide public execution. Before he was executed, a man from the crowd asked:
"Where did you hide all your treasure?!"
To which the King of Pirates smiled and said:
"You want my treasure? You can have it! I left the most important treasure in the world on an island! Go and find it! 'For the next pirate that finds the UnderPiece, will be claimed the new King of The Pirates!"
Those were his final words before he was executed. He smiled to his death.
With those words, the world was flipped upside down as he created The Golden Pirate Era! People and already existing pirates from around the works started to sail the seas in search of the treasure that W. D. Gaster claimed to be-
The UnderPiece!
It had been Twenty Years since, and people have yet to find the treasure he was talking about. Except for one girl, who is now going to change the world by storm for the sake of her people.
This is the story of Muffet D. Baker and her way to becoming Queen of the Pirates!
Muffet leaped over a few trees, Ares was still hot on her trail. She knew this guy was strong because what feels like her trying her best, is probably child's play to him. Although she sees him sweat, it feels as if he is just enjoying it as a game than a competition.
That being said, the sudden disappearance of Ralsei raised a few red flags in her head. However, she had just arrived in this country. She didn't want to immediately cause trouble for the locals.
Although, as she was soaring through the air, she was able to see some towns and mini huts and villages along the forest. She was able to recognize that the settlements closer to the giant mountain that seems to cater to another landmass above it, were the colonies that seemed the most advanced. While the settlements further out into the country seemed a little desolate for the most part.
One thing was certain though, they were all minks.
Muffet had a good deal of mink encounters, hence why she was able to come to that conclusion. She knows knew that this was a country that held Minks.
Ares seemingly teleported next to her so that they were head to head.
"I said wait up didn't I?"
Muffet flinched in fear, she wasn't expecting him to appear so sudden, when she was in the lead.
She was able to see that his face grew more sinister. Like he was waiting for something and it just arrived, like he had the clear sign that his day was going to be greater.
Muffet wasn't going to let him pass her though. If the people she had to speak to was at the top, then she would need to get past him.
*Wait a minute-! Is this guy a test? Am I supposed to beat him to prove my ability as a Warlord?! Alright, game on!*
Muffet smirked as she finished that thought and stretched her arms back for her Spider Rocket attack.
Ares looked at her with a raised brow.
*This girl isn't planning on striking me is she? She's going for a branch. Sooner or later, our time will come and I'll have her-*
Ares' inner thoughts were shoved out by hearing Muffet go.
"GUM GUM! SPIDER ROCKET!"
She shot her 6 arms forward, creating gusts of wind from each arm that were strong enough to dismantle a house due to the wind pressure.
Ares reflexively and panicky crossed his forearms to where she would strike him. Coating his arms in Armament Haki, a basic level, so that with his spiritual hardening, he can tank her blow with ease.
However, the impact still sent him flying considerably down to the ground, almost snapping his arms in the process. He grunted in pain more from the blow than impact with the blackened ground.
He wasn't expecting her to hit so hard. He started to sweat, he then began to remember who this girl was at the core. A Spider Clan Member, with a Devil Fruit, and trained so well she beat Marshal Bronzio, a Pending Warlord.
She wasn't any fodder pirate, he knows knew this. When he bounced off the floor, most of his personal belongings in his pockets were mostly scattered.
Muffet decided to turn this race into a spar and landed down to where he landed.
She stretched out her arms for calisthenics as he got up and composed himself.
"Cool! You have Haki too! Undyne has that kind of Haki...Army Mint? Something like that."
Ares got up and dusted himself off. He uncoated his arms and put his hands in his pants pocket.
"Ma'am I assure you, this isn't a time to fight, we have to get into the capital by sundown, or else."
Muffet, this time, stretching legs. The sun was setting.
The light shined on both of them, getting to see each other in broad daylight. Surrounded by blackened trees and grass, the most beautiful thing there was the lighting.
The breeze was gentle. The sunlight was soft and warm. Ares was awestruck by this view.
He got to see Muffet, not from behind, not in the mist, and not surrounded by dirt. He was relaxed looking at her.
Her skin was thin but supple. Her eyes were curvy and bulbous, devoid of any pupils as a glossy dark broody purple gleamed with the sun. Her hair was short and puffy, untamed but well kept. Flowing in the wind gently with the breeze. Her lips always smiling and so thin. Her finger was sharp but soft. Her vibe was that of a protector, a warrior with a kind heart.
Ares took a deep breath, admiring the beauty before him.
"Please ma'am don't make this difficult."
"Oh don't worry about that dearie~ I now know what this initiation is! I have to beat you up!"
Ares was angrily flustered.
"That's absurd, my job was to escort you! How could-"
Just then, the discarded walkie-talkie he had in his ear was on the ground. Next to Muffet. Then, the speaker spoke.
"This is Artemis, reporting into you, boss. I have taken down Undyne, their goat companion and child. Now I'm pursuing the daughter of the Dark Queen. Continue as plan Hydra-"
Cassidy then cut off.
Ares glared daggers at the walkie-talkie. He gulped. He was compromised. He looked back at Muffet to see that she was gone.
He blinked and then he was winded. Saliva fluid and some blood droplets shot out from his mouth as his eyes peered down at the spider girl who was too angry to even look at him back.
Ares flew into the sky before falling back down. He still had to recover from that thunderous set of three right hooks simultaneously to his gut.
When he fixated his vision, Muffet was face to face with him before he was able to touch the ground.
"WHAT'S HAPPENING TO MY CREW!"
Muffet stretched back her left set of arms and shot them forward with even more strength than her previous attack and connected his face cleanly. He was sent tumbling through the blackened trees and grass.
More blood splattered against the ground and shot from her mouth as he went. He knew she was giving it her all, he would have to stop the charade.
She dashed herself to him at mach.
"WHAT'S HAPPENING?! WHO ARE YOU?!"
Muffet stretched her six arms back and flung them back and forth to recreate a barrage of punches in railgun-type fashion.
Ares caught his balance and backhanded her fist away except for one. He chose to use his other hand to grab her exposed arm and dragged her closer.
The force in which he smacked her five arms and pull her was of a different caliber of physical strength she has yet to see. Even Verde wouldn't have been able to yank her this fast to him. This man was a different league.
He winded her back with a thunderous right hook to the gut with Armament Haki.
She almost faded out and coughed blood. He leaned into her ear.
"I tried doing this the easy way, but since you like to be Gung ho, that will have to change...My name is Hydra Gordon, Ares was an alias. There is so much happening in this country that I couldn't even begin to tell you where you play your part. But just know, every action is accounted for, and so is every day, minute, and second. For I, have the most invincible Devil Fruit! Pledge your alliance to me, and all your friends shall be healed."
Muffet laughed in a low grunt. She was still regaining air. She slowly pushed herself off of his fist and start to stumble backward slowly.
"My crew...won't go down that easy...I believe Undyne, Ralsei, Susie, and Hera, are all out there still fighting. This is why I had Susie stay behind to let herself fight our follower!"
A stress vein appeared on Hydra's forehead.
"Preposterous, even if you did know, she can't possibly stand up to my assassin sniper, my right-hand woman, my partner in crime-"
Muffet laughed in his face weakly. Slowly gaining more energy.
"Yep! As planned-"
That phrase irked Hydra.
"- I knew whoever was following was specialized in sneak attacks and only that. If that wasn't the case she would've fought with you from the start...The funny thing about Susie is that...she is your partner's hard counter...Your right-hand woman is going to lose!"
Hydra balled up his fist. He was still trying to decipher whether Muffet was hysterically bluffing or not. He honestly couldn't tell.
Muffet wasn't playing around anymore. She knew since this guy was way out of her league from the beginning, she would have to get stronger, and find out how to counter his so-called "invincible Devil Fruit".
She crouched down, lining her fists on the ground in a line in front of her. Having each set parallel to each other. She then started to use her arms to pump more blood through her body, increasing her blood flow many times fold.
Purple smoke started to seep through her pours in copious amounts, even out of the ends of her mouth. Her skin glowing bright purple with both her both and her aura.
Hydra was taken aback by this sudden transformation.
She then cracked her knuckles.
"And about me joining you...I would never work under such a weakling."
Hydra dashed at her with a speed that left a crater in the ground. To which Muffet contested that with a sonic Spider Magnum. Which is a punch using all six arms. He was sent back as holes the size of her fist was riddled through his body where she punched.
Muffet was shocked, she wasn't expecting someone that dealt tremendous blows, to be so bad at taking it back.
Her eyes widened as she saw the holes she made in his body slowly regenerate. After a brief moment, his wounds were closed up, and looked as if she never punched him, to begin with.
"Wh-what? What's with your body?! Second Gear hole punctured you."
Hydra cackled to himself. Taking off his, now useless, suit and cast it aside. Revealing his pitch-black skin and toned muscles. To which she can see, has even darker scales.
She knew this guy was weird, but what exactly was he?
"I told you, spider girl, my Devil Fruit is Invincible!"
Muffet took a second of thought and proudly stood upright.
"Ha! I get it! Your Devil Fruit allows you to decay, but like, the opposite!"
Hydra is puzzled.
"...You mean regenerate?"
"Yeah! That!"
Hydra was stumped by this woman before him. He laughed to himself.
"For the time being, let's just leave it at that."
He rushed forward, this time creating a shockwave that violently ruptured the trees around him upward. Muffet did the same.
His fist struck her face as he coated it in Armament Haki. Muffet struck him across the face with her top and middle right hands. Using the other arms to block any follow-up attack he had.
They blurred out of position to seemingly reappear at a higher elevation and clashed again. This time, Muffet used her Jet Spider Spear by using her two legs to drive them far behind her and then forthwith incredible power. Hydra contested it with a roundhouse kick. The clash sent another shockwave.
"So you've managed to bridge the gap in speed-!"
They both blurred out of position and reappeared in the sky and clashed fist this time. Three fists for each punch.
"And you seemingly surpass me in durability because of your fruit-!"
They both blurred out of position and appeared higher in the sky after clashing a few times around at speeds that most people would consider faster for them to see.
Hydra was readying a heaving stomp kick to Muffet's back since he was above her.
"That being said, I find you lacking in so many areas!"
Hydra kicked her with Armament Haki, with a force that sent her plummeting back to the black grass in a blur. The kick hurt more than the impact thanks to her rubber capabilities.
"Strength!"
Muffet reattempted her Mach Spider Railgun and created a rapid motion of sonic booms starting at her wrist that almost seem as if her punch, whether a gust of wind or actual physical fist, was teleporting to him. That being said he was dodging all of them, some scraping him.
The closer he got, the more it seemed to connect but didn't affect him because of his regeneration.
He got up in her face, she tried to roundhouse kick him, but he ducked under it and did a backflip kick to her jaw. She was raised from the ground, then, Hydra caught her by the shin.
"Experience!"
He then coated his arms in a form of Armament Haki she hasn't seen before. Instead of black, it was a tint of red and his arm seemed blocky.
"And Haki!"
He then used his free arm to gut-punch her. That hit knocked her out of Second Gear as black and red sparks started emitting from his arm. She tumbled on the ground pretty far.
She could barely keep her balance. It was night. This was bad.
Because of his scales and skin color, it would be almost impossible to spot him in the dark. That being said, that hit she took did a number on her.
"Damn! Second Gear isn't enough...what will?"
It was quiet.
She tried to hone her senses to try and find him, it wasn't working out too well. She couldn't spot him.
Just as she said that she saw a giant figure overshadow her. It looked like a serpent, but with many heads. It kept growing inside until it was the size I'd s full Navy ship. Muffet took a cautious step back.
"What the hell?! Where did this dinosaur come from?!"
Then, the creature opened its mouth.
"This is the true power of the Hydra-Hydra Fruit. Allowing me to become a Hydra, a several-headed serpent. It also allows me powers of regeneration as well as making me a true mythical monster!"
Muffet gawked at this guy's Devil Fruit. It was close to being Invincible.
Close.
Muffet laughed to herself.
"You know, after fighting Gaia, I had to acknowledge that there are beings in the world, that my regular fists cannot reach. Beings of that size and body class, regular punches aren't enough. Even for Second Gear..."
Hydra laughed.
"Are you pledging your allegiance and defeat to me? Hydra Gordons!"
Muffet stuck up all her thumbs. Hydra was happy.
"Of course not! I've learned from Gaia that even two gears weren't enough...so..."
Muffet jammed all of her thumbs into her mouth and bit down on them. She proceeded to blow into them like an air balloon. Making her six arms almost the size and Gordon's torso which was roughly around 10 meters thick and 20 meters long.
Gordon flinched in shock.
Muffet, with her enlarged six arms, cocked them all back.
"Third Gear! This is a technique I use against bigger targets! I blow air into the bones in my arms to enlarge them, making them not only hit harder but have a larger spread! This should do the job!"
Hydra analyzed her new attack plan and laughed.
"Size and all, it should never reach me, as it is too slow."
Muffet only smirked.
"I know, however...
Second Gear!"
While keeping Third Gear, she stacked it with Second Gear by pumping her legs to increase blood flow acceleration. Smoke was pouring out of her once again. Hydra seemed to be in a cold sweat. This opponent was too strong for a rookie, but he knew he had the upper hand.
"You know doing that will shorten your lifespan right?! How can you roam the seas and get the UnderPiece if you die early?!"
Muffet didn't hesitate.
"I asked for a fun life, not a long one. My friends are fighting as hard as I am, even harder. If you stand in my way of getting to them, then I'll do everything in the books to beat the shit out of you!"
Hydra only laughed.
"Let's see which one has more resolve~!"
