Ben 10 & She-Ra Heroes of Power Chapter 18: When There Were Ten, a Ben 10 + She-Ra and the Princesses of Power Crossover fanfic

Authors Notes: Well folks the wait is over heres the next chapter of Heroes of Power. I apologise for the late update, as I have been dealing with a lot of things in my personal life. Plus just saw season 2 of He-Man cgi, and for those who haven't seen it yet, I'm staying quiet but all I'll say is the ending was something I really didn't see coming. Nuff said.

Now I wish to make something very clear right now. I've seen a lot of recent reviews about the future of this story and any Ben 10 villains making an appearance. So know that I have a plan and I intend to stick with it, I appreciate the ideas but you won't be seeing any Ben 10 villains yet until after the Portal episode reasons of which will become clear when we cross that bridge. There are no Ben 10 villain teams, and who said villain is I am not saying.

But for now let's begin because I know you've waited long enough to see this chapter.

:When There Were Ten:

In the darkened night the seas of Etheria lay quiet and silent, however crossing the ocean was a Horde ship. It seemed to be sailing across the sea to something, with Horde troopers manning the controls. Just then out of nowhere the ship arrived at some kind of platform out on the sea. Located in the middle of the sea several miles away from the kingdom of Salineas. However as the boat arrived the platform was a cover.

For far below the oceans surface it looked like an underwater complex constructed by the Horde as shown by the graffiti on the wall. Loud booming sounds echoed through the complex it sounded like someone was drilling.

Alarms were sounding all over the base, and several Horde soldiers stood to attention outside what looked like a lift. Arriving on the scene was the one in charge, Force Captain Octavia. She wore her Force Captain badge over her eye as an eyepatch. She sneered as she knew who was coming but didn't like it.

The lift doors slid open to reveal the new arrival, which was Catra, who was accompanied by Entrapta.

"Well well Catra, or should I say Force Captain Catra this is an unexpected surprise." Octavia said in fake flattery. "Never thought I'd see you underwater."

"Okay cut the pleasantries Octavia, I'm here to put you back on schedule." Catra said getting to the point as they walked along the hall.

"Oh there's no need, we're mining this area as we speak." Octavia said.

"Good just be careful the First Ones tech buried here is very delicate. I still can't believe my amazement when I uncovered it buried at the bottom of the ocean!" Entrapta said rather excited.

"Which is why it needs to be dug out as soon as possible, last thing we need is to draw out any problems, namely the princesses." Catra seethed at that last part.

Octavia tried to maintain her patience, she still couldn't believe she was being ordered around by one of the brats that caused her trouble years ago. "Hah I doubt they even know about this place they're so busy with their precious trees they haven't thought to go under the sea."

"Never underestimate them." Catra said. "Besides the way your men are working it'll be forever before that tech is unearthed, so perhaps it's time I found new ways to motivate them."

"I assure you we will have it unearthed and extracted by the next moon." Octavia assured forcefully.

"Well Lord Hordak doesn't share your optimism." Catra smirked. "Thats why me and Entrapta are here." She said circling the Force Captain as her tail brushed against her face.

"Lord Hordak doesn't see the complications of this process we'd need more man power." Octavia said trying to keep her cool.

Catra then flung her arm over Octavia's shoulder. "Oh I see well maybe you can tell him that. When he gets here."

That last line put a shiver of fear down her spine. "L…Lord Hordak's coming here?" Octavia said with a bit of fear in her voice.

"Yeah he's coming to oversee the operation and see if the First Ones tech is viable for me to work with." Entrapta explained as she was busy looking over the base and studying it in fascination.

"Right and he's very displeased with your lack of progress, something to do with the quality of labour force around here." Catra smirked in a threatening tone.

"We…we shall double our efforts." Octavia said now feeling a little intimidated.

"You better, because if not I'm not the one you'll need to answer to." Catra smirked, but as she started to walk away Octavia suddenly wrapped one of her tentacles around Catra's arm.

"Just because you wear that badge, doesn't mean your actually one of us." Octavia said glaring. "To me your still that brat that caused me nothing but trouble in the Horde orphanage years ago." Catra glared back.

Catra swatted away her tentacle away. "Yeah we'll I've learned a lot since then, and I've gotten closer to ending the princesses more than anyone else ever has, and its the reason why I'm now Hordak's second in command and Shadow Weaver is rotting in chains." Catra said getting right in Octavia's face. "So I'd be careful unless you want me to claw out your other eye." She marched away with Entrapta in tow.

"Oh really by the way great choice putting Scorpia in charge of that outpost we recently lost, real good command decision." Octavia called out. That resulted in Catra scratching the wall in frustration, it was lucky that wasn't a Horde soldier.

However on the outside of the complex, little did the Horde know they were being watched. For hiding amongst some of the coral, were some mermaid soldiers, and they were from Salineas. They quickly swam away to avoid being spotted.

Bright Moon:

Dawn broke over the kingdom of Bright Moon, and in the room that a certain bearer of the Omnitrix had settled into an alarm clock sounded off from his phone. The groggy Ben pressed the stop button on his phone screen. He wore a simple shirt with boxers. He got up and went to change into his attire.

He went over and poured a smoothy satchel into a cup then used the smoothie machine to mix and make it. He took a slurp and was smiling. However he looked a little sad as well, he knew what today really was.

He left his room and was greeted by Glimmer. "Oh good morning Ben, you sleep well?"

"Huh, oh yea yeah I did." Ben said trying to have an upbeat attitude, however the Bright Moon princess noticed a slight saddened tone in his voice.

"Hey you okay?" Glimmer asked.

"Ah Glimmer come on I'm fine, just a little groggy without a morning smoothy." Ben explained trying to sound upbeat.

However Glimmer wasn't so sure. "Oh okay, well I'll see you later I gotta go see my mom."

"Okay see ya." Ben said walking away but hid his rather depressed expression. Glimmer could definitely see that something was wrong so she teleported away.

Meanwhile in a cave somewhere under the castle, lay the Proto Truck surrounded by tools and other equipment. Some of it was parts recycled from some of the Horde bots the Princess Alliance had previously destroyed. Rook found this cave to store his vehicle sometime after the battle of Bright Moon.

Said Plumber was linking some wires to the trucks radio transmitter. Bow was present as he'd connected his tech tablet up as well.

"Okay we're all linked up." Bow said to Rook.

"Good, now we are sure this will work Bow?" Rook asked still having some concerns.

"Yeah if we use your trucks transmitter along with this bots left over parts we could boost my tracker pad to try and boost the signal we found at Alwyn." Bow explained.

Since their spooky mission at the Alwyn trading post, the First One's signal they uncovered had become a mystery to them. While Adora, Glimmer and Ben dismissed it, Rook and Bow wondered if it had any significance. So the pair set to work to uncover its meaning.

"Or perhaps try and boost the Proto Trucks radio transmission trans-dimensionally." Rook also wondered, if there was a distinct possibility they could try and send a signal past Despondos to contact Plumber headquarters. However unlikely.

"I guess it's a possibility pal." Bow said with some hope. "Okay lets give it a try."

Rook gave a thumbs up and activated his radio transmitter which activated the tech they'd linked up. Bow looked at his tracker pad and at the First One's signal. The signal was still a little weak.

So The Revonahhgander twisted the knob on his truck dashboard to tune the signal. "Anything?" Rook asked.

Bow looked at the tracker pad, but it whilst it helped to strengthen the signal the First Ones writing was still corrupted. "No signals still corrupted, try boosting the signal further."

Rook slowly twisted the knob further as static began to sound from the radio. It seemed the signal was getting stronger, but then it became corrupted again. Bow was rather disappointed from this development. "Gah nothing, maybe we need a larger antenna at a higher vantage point." Bow said.

"I suppose that would help to increase the signal strength." Rook said, but just then the Proto Truck radio started to cause louder static, but he heard something coming from it.

"Base….mining….Horde….." The transmission faintly said.

This immediately got Rook and Bow's attention. "But perhaps it did have strength enough." Rook realised as he began tuning the signal.

Rook tuned the signal to increase the strength, and soon the message came into view. "Horde sea base to Fright Zone, the mining operation is proceeding as planned and will double efforts to complete on schedule. Force Captain Catra is on site overseeing the operation." The two friends looked at each other surprised. "Understood, will contact you in the next four hours for an update, Lord Hordak will be arriving shortly." That last line of the transmission more than took the two by surprise by this revelation.

"Oh no this can't be good." Bow realised.

"No it is not we must inform Queen Angella at once." Rook then decided in a serious tone.

Council room:

Soon Angella, Glimmer, Adora, Ben, Mermista, Spinerella and Netossa were assembled in the council room listening to the transmission Rook and Bow had intercepted. To say this brought concern among them was an understatement.

"Hordak!" Angella said gravely worried.

"I..I don't understand, Hordak is never seen outside the confines of the Fright Zone?" Adora said, remembering back when she was a cadet she barely saw the leader of the Horde. "This must be of great importance if he's going there himself."

"Which in my experience can only mean big trouble." Ben realised as well.

"Indeed, it was only by chance Bow and I came across this signal, however it did not specify the location of said base." Rook explained.

"I might know." Mermista said getting everyones attention.

"How?" Bow asked with interest.

"Well, a few hours ago I like heard from my guards back in Salineas about some underwater Horde base fifty miles west of the kingdom." Mermista explained as she pointed it out on the holo map.

"Okay but the message said it was a mining complex what are they mining? Oil?" Ben wondered.

"I don't know, the message didn't say." Bow replied.

"Well whatever it is it can't be good, if Hordaks going there we need to find out why." Glimmer then proposed.

"I'm not sure Glimmer if Hordak is involved it maybe too risky an assignment." Angella voiced in concern knowing how powerful Hordak is and what he's capable of."

"But mom this could be our one chance to stop the Horde, we take down Hordak they'll have no chance!" Glimmer voiced. "We may not ever get another opportunity like this."

"Glimmer I understand you wish to end the war but I must concur with the Queen, we do not know Hordaks full capabilities." Rook voiced. "However the mining complex must be investigated, whatever it is they are mining is something of great interest."

"I agree with your assessment Rook, so Commander Glimmer you will investigate the complex but do not engage unless you have to and no unnecessary risks." Queen Angella agreed.

"Okay Mom." Glimmer said, but when she looked at the team she could see they were a few princesses short.

"Uh Glimmer one problem." Bow voiced. "it looks like we're a bit short. Perfuma's in Plumeria on some kind of spiritual guidance with her people to better prepare them for the Horde."

"What about Frosta?" Adora asked.

"She's in her kingdom, said something about strengthening her borders with ice spikes in case the Horde pull a surprise attack." Bow explained.

"But we need numbers if we're going to stop that mine!" Glimmer groaned.

Ben took a minute to think and then he had an idea, as he eyed two certain princesses in the room. "Well what about Spinnerella and Netossa? Things have been quiet around here why don't we give them a chance to see some action?"

Spinnerella and Netossa looked at each other and the latter was excited. "I'm in!"

"You can count me in as well." Spinerella agreed. Not wanting to be so far apart from her beloved, as they stuck to each other like glue.

Glimmer could see the two were very eager, and she could see Bens point. They had yet to have a mission in the field, since the battle of Bright Moon so this could be their chance to gain valuable experience.

"Okay sounds good to me." Glimmer said. "We'll call Sea Hawk to give us a ride."

"I do not think approaching from the sea is wise, as we could be detected." Rook then voiced. "The stealthiest route is clearly by air."

"Okay we'll take the Proto Truck, but I'll still call Sea Hawk he'll want in on the action." Glimmer then agreed.

"And you don't want him to feel left out?" Adora wondered.

"Yeah that too." Glimmer said. However she briefly noticed Ben looking away still a little sad, it wasn't because of the mission she knew it had to be something else. Adora could see it too.

"Okay well I'd best go get geared up." Ben said still a little down in the dumps as he left. Once he was out of the room Glimmer turned to those who remained.

"Hey guys is it me or does Ben seem a little down lately?" Glimmer wondered.

"Yeah I've been noticing that too." Adora realised. "When I ran into him in the hall he seemed a little sad."

"I know he didn't even call us our nickname Team Spintossa." Spinnerella voiced also.

"Still not calling us that." Netossa mumbled.

"Perhaps Benjamin is feeling homesick, it has been some months when he first arrived here." Angella wondered.

Rook was wondering why his partner looked a little upset, but then he realised why. "I think I may know why." He said getting their attention. "This morning I looked at the Proto Trucks on board calendar, and it would seem todays the day Ben comes of age."

Everyone present looked a little confused by how the young Plumber pronounced that sentence. Rook sighed when he knew he needed to explain it more. "The day he was born." He explained.

It was then Bow realised what it was that Rook was talking about. "Wait…you mean…it's his birthday?!" He realised and it wasn't long before the other princesses caught on.

"Did I not say that?" Rook said.

"Oh so thats why he's sad, because it's his birthday and his family isn't here to celebrate." Glimmer realised.

"Oh dear thats horrible." Spinnerella gasped.

"Wait people celebrate others birth?" Adora said confused.

"Oh no." Bow gasped. "Please don't tell me they don't celebrate birthdays in the Fright Zone."

"Uh no, they didn't celebrate peoples birth?" Adora explained.

"How…I…GAH Chalk up another thing the Horde have wrong." Bow said.

"I do understand Bens depression, I too feel rather homesick. It would be around this time that the winter solstice on Revonnah would begin." Rook realised. "I would be home with my family helping for the celebrations."

"Oh Rook I'm sorry." Glimmer said in consultant, then an idea buzzed in her head. "Hey thats it!"

"What?" Mermista asked.

Glimmer then turned to her mother. "Mom with your permission I think we should throw Ben a surprise party to celebrate his birthday." She suggested.

"Glimmer I'm not sure, we must consider the Horde." Angella voiced.

"Did I hear someone say party!" Out of nowhere Castaspella appeared next to her sister in law.

"Yes Aunt Casta, it's Bens birthday and he's feeling a little homesick." Glimmer explained.

"Well I think a party is a great idea." Castaspella exclaimed happily.

Angella groaned but she realised that it had been several months since Ben and Rook first arrived on Bright Moon. The long time they'd been here and helped with the war effort to free Etheria, perhaps this was the time to repay them.

"Well…I suppose it would be the best way to thank him for his help." Angella realised. "You all go on the mission Casta and I will handle everything else."

Glimmer squealed in excitement "Great see you later bye!" She said as she grabbed everyone present in a group hug and teleported away. Leaving Angella and Castaspella to plan the party.

Meanwhile:

In the underwater Horde mining operation, within the very centre of the complex a large drill was digging deep down into the very bowls of the ocean bed. The drill was raised and Horde soldiers worked with laser cutting tools to cut away the rocks, for below it appeared to be a rather large disc with First Ones carvings.

High above in the observation deck, Catra and Entrapta watched the mining operation. The tech happy princess looked at the visuals of the First Ones tech.

"Ah fascinating, it's much larger than other First Ones artefacts I've seen." Entrapta said almost excitedly as she sat on her hair like a chair. "Oh this will be more than sufficient for what Hordak wants."

Catra was watching from afar, she wondered just what on Etheria was Entrapta helping Hordak to do? More to the point just why wasn't she told. However Shadow Weavers words still echoed in her mind.

"He'll never trust you with his real plans…" Shadow Weavers voice echoed. The feline Force Captain tried to put it at the back of her mind but deep down she couldn't help but wonder if her former mentor was right.

Elsewhere:

High in the sky above the seas of Etheria, the Proto Truck flew over the sea in its space ship form. Rook flew the truck with Sea Hawk in the passengers seat, while in the back were Ben, Adora, Glimmer, Mermista, Spinnerella, Bow and Nettossa.

Adora looked at Ben who seemed to be lost in thought. "Hey Ben, you okay?" She asked openly.

"Huh, yeah yeah I'm fine just uh mentally preparing for the mission." Ben simply said and Adora just smiled understandingly. But there was also something else on his mind. "So what do you think this is Adora? Finally fighting Hordak face to face? I gotta admit I've been kinda looking forward to that."

"I don't know, but all I know for sure is whatever we find in that base it's going to be bad news." Adora explained.

However their train of thought was interrupted by one of Sea Hawks sea shanties. "OOOOOO We fly to danger with the light of good, we sail the skies we are the rebellion we are we are we are the rebellion we are we are. We are we ar….e!"

Mermista just groaned as she went up to Rook. "Rook please oh please tell me this thing has an ejector seat?!"

"Do not tempt me Mermista." Rook replied as he was greatly tempted to boot the sea captain from the ship if he continued with his shanties.

"My apologies dear Mermista, I guess you could say I'm anxie about this mission I'm ready to do battle with these fiends of the sea." Sea Hawk said gallantly.

"Ri…ght." Mermista questioned.

Glimmer then got up to discuss the plan. "Okay guys listen up." She said getting everyones attention. "According to the intel from Mermsita's scouts the base is mainly underwater, so we'll have to be smart about entering it."

"What about Hordak himself I don't think he's the kind of guy to arrive by a submarine." Ben realised.

"No best guess he'll arrive by a conventional Horde ship, if this is a mining complex they'll be a lift shaft and platform leading to it." Adora guessed.

"Agreed, so we are best to enter by stealth." Rook voiced from the drivers seat.

"Okay so Mermista will swim in and clear out any resistance." Glimmer suggested. "Then I'll teleport us in."

"Agreed they'll never suspect an entrance from the water." Adora agreed. "But what about the Proto Truck?"

"I will program the auto pilot to fly back to Salineas." Rook pointed out.

"Or I could pilot it back?" Sea Hawk suggested.

"ABSOLUTELY NOT!" Rook and Mermista said together which took Sea Hawk by surprise.

"Okay so while Mermista swims in we'll teleport in and…" Before Ben could finish that sentence Mermista grabbed him by the arm.

"Oh ho no you don't this time your coming with me!" Mermista said smirking.

"Wait why?!" Ben asked.

"Because if I have to go through sewer water again your suffering with me!" Mermista said given the last time they went into a Horde base she had to go in through the sewers.

"I guess she's right, well minus the sewer part, plus she'll need someone watching her back." Adora agreed much to Bens dismay.

"Then we will have to drop you both some distance away from the complex to avoid detection, we will stay out of scanner range. Until you sound the signal." Rook then said.

"Sounds like a plan." Ben decided.

Soon the Proto Truck approached the outskirts of the mining complex area. Rook switched the truck to stealth mode by silencing the engines. The Omnitrix symbols on the wings changed into turbines which were silent.

In the back of the truck everyone was preparing. The princesses placed the com links in their ears for communication. "Okay channels secure." Adora said to everyone.

"We are approaching the drop zone." Rook relayed from the drivers seat. Ben his the button opening the rear doors as he and Mermista readied themselves. They looked down to the water below.

"So ready for a dip alien boy?" Mermista asked.

"Just need my swim fins." Ben smirked back as he activated the Omnitrix and dialled in a certain alien. "This calls for an old favourite." Slamming down the dial he began to transform.

In a green void surrounded by white molecules greyish green fishscales grew covered his Omnitrix arm and his hands were now clawed with finned hands. Growing from his forehead was a large glowing antenna and fish like gills appeared on his neck. His head soon resembled that of a catfish crossed with an alligator he opened his eyes and they were green. Ben now had the appearance of a fisherman with greyish green scales, four fingered hands with claws with a large fin going down his back lower arms and two clawed feet. He had a florescent light on his head with a black neck brace on his neck with black gauntlets. On his waist was a triangular hanging fabric and on the waist was a green and white belt with the Omnitrix symbol in the middle. He was now one of his classic aliens Ripjaws.

"Yikes those are your swim fins?" Mermista said surprised.

"Ah yeah time for Ripjaws to take a dip!" The Piscciss Volann proclaimed, he then looked to Mermista. "Oh ladies first." He bowed.

"Wow and they say chivalry is dead." Mermista smirks as she dived from the truck.

"See you guys later." Ripjaws then turned to the team before he dived after her.

The two dived down from the sky, and as they approached the ocean surface they turned their legs into their respective tailfins and crashed down into the sea. Under the sea the two swam quickly along the ocean floor. Thanks to Ripjaws florescent light on his head they had an idea of where they were going. Plus his eyes glowed as well.

They soon arrived near the complex, but kept a distance so as not alert any underwater sentries that could be nearby.

Just then The Princess of the sea noticed something on the ocean bed. She tapped Ripjaws shoulder getting his attention, he looked and saw what looked like a pipeline in the ocean floor. They swam down to take a closer look. It was a pipe alright which meant they found a way in.

"Yep a sewer pipe, we could swim to the end and find the…" However before Mermista could explain Ripjaws opened his mouth wide and took a bite right out of the metal pipe and ripped it open, making a hole wide enough for them to enter.

Mermista forms her trident from her hands and uses her powers to control the flow of the water so it doesn't leak out more. "Or yeah we could do that."

"Well I don't call this guy Ripjaws for nothing." Ripjaws smirked. "Cause these jaws can rip through solid steel!"

Without further delay the two entered the pipeline, and Mermista summoned her powers to replace the metal that Ripjaws ripped off, said fish alien grabbed two sides of the pipe and pulled the metal shut with his enhanced strength. The two swam up it into the complex itself.

Deep inside the complex's main sewage system was what looked like brown sludge. Coming through the pipe came two shadowy objects. Then peaking out of the water was Mermista and Ripjaws. The princess was less than happy to be in this muddy water.

"Ugh great this is so…gross!" Mermista groaned.

"You think this is gross, you clearly haven't been stranded on a desert planet with a Highbreed who uses stomach tentacles to find water." Ripjaws said.

"Ugh! Too much info!" Mermista said disgusted. The two then swam to the other side where there was a maintenance platform. Mermista summoned a small whirlpool which shot them up onto the platform.

However they were more disgusted when they looked at their muddy appearance. "Ugh why couldn't these sewers be clean!" She groaned. Suddenly came a green flash then a blast of water which covered her all over, and the mud simply disappeared.

"GAH Hey what the heck!" Mermista exclaimed as she looked to the culprit. Namely Ripjaws who had switched to Waterhazzard who even after the transformation was still covered in mud.

"What at least your clean?" He said before he sprayed the mud off of him.

Moments later the door to the maintenance area opened revealing Mermista and Waterhazzard they headed down the hallway. However as they were about to turn a corner they saw a couple of Horde troopers on watch. They quickly hid to avoid detection.

Waterhazzard knew how to deal with them and tapped the Omnitrix symbol on his chest. The troopers noticed the glow and moved to investigate. However when they turned a corner there was no-one there. They looked at each other bemused. Suddenly a pair of green cats eyes appeared. The troopers turned round too late, leaping out of the shadows was Razor Kat.

The troopers slashed their taser sticks at him only for him to duck under him flip over him then gave him a leg swipe tripping him up grabbing the taser in his tail then striking him with it. The second trooper was about to attack when suddenly a large blast of water slammed him into the wall.

"Aw yeah cat moves for the win!" Razor Kat cheered. "And they say cats and water don't mix." He said looking at Mermista who smirked and nodded.

The duo looked around the main corridor for any sign of troopers there were four of them on guard. Quite suddenly they were swept away by a blast of water which sent them flying off the railing. Mermista and Razor Kat looked and saw a window showing the undersea landscape before them.

Mermista activated her com link. "Guys we're in. Just ran into a couple of Horde troops but it looks like security is weak here."

Meanwhile:

The Proto-Truck hovered on the outskirts of the Horde's mining complex. They were far enough away to avoid being detected. "Where are you guys?" Glimmer asked.

Just then a beep came from Bows tracker pad showing the Omnitrix symbol. "Can you see us?" Razor Kat asked over the com link. Given how during the robot mayhem in Dryl Rook had upgraded Bows Tracker Pad to track the signature of the Omnirix.

"Yeah we have your position." Bow answered.

"Okay first things first." Adora said as she drew her sword and raised it in the air. "FOR THE HONOUR OF GRAYSKULL!" The runestone in the sword hilt glowed bright and one epic magical transformation later, Adora was transformed into She-Ra.

"Sea Hawk set the truck to auto pilot." Rook said to the sea captain however there were so many buttons on the dashboard he couldn't tell which was which.

"Ah here we go." Sea Hawk said as he pressed the button except it wasn't the auto pilot. Seconds later loud rock music was blaring out of the radio nearly deafening everyone.

Rook proceeded to turn it off. "That was the radio not the auto pilot." He said to which Sea Hawk smiled sheepishly.

Rook found the correct button and turned on the auto pilot as he and Sea Hawk joined the group. Glimmer held out her hands and the group held hands. Seconds later they teleported away.

Horde base:

The group soon reappeared in the Horde mining complex. They stood at the ready in case they were ambushed. However their cohorts were nowhere to be seen.

"Wait where's Ben and Mermista?" She-Ra asked.

"Ben Mermista where are you?" Glimmer called on her com.

"Look to your left." Mermista's voice called on the com. The group turned to the left and saw in the tube on the opposite side was Mermista and Razor Kat.

"A little far off Glims." Razor Kat said.

"Opps heh sorry." Glimmer bashfully said as she teleported herself and the rest of the group over to them.

She-Ra then took note of her surroundings. "Okay by the looks of it we're close to the water filtration facility, so the main drilling area should be where that dome is." She pointed to the centre of the complex where a large structure was located and the source of the booming sound.

"Okay so if its not oil they're digging for then what is it?" Razor Kat asked.

"I don't know, but we need to make sure they don't get it." She-Ra said. "We need to get to the main control centre, we might be able to learn more."

"Okay which way?" Spinnerella asked.

"Should be that way." She-Ra said about to lead the group.

"Hold on Adora, we're too big a group but I think I have an idea." Razor Kat said eyeing the three Horde troopers Mermista just knocked out.

Seconds later, the two troopers were stripped of their uniforms and tossed into a metal storage area. The door slammed shut and it was revealed that Ben (now in human form), Sea Hawk and Mermista were now wearing the Horde uniforms and armour.

"Ugh I'm not too crazy about this fit." Mermista criticised the outfits.

"Oh I don't know it's very striking to me." Sea Hawk said.

"Look we need to know the layout of this place so this is the best way to do it." Ben suggested. "We just need to learn what we can, then She-Ra and the others can do the rest."

"You know we actually pulled this stunt when we saved Plumeria." Bow remembered.

"Bens right we're too big a group we'll be spotted we need to hang back and lay low until we find out what we need." She-Ra said. Suddenly they heard footsteps approaching them.

"Quick hide!" Bow exclaimed and everyone quickly hid behind the corner wall minus the disguised Ben, Mermista and Sea Hawk.

"You three." The trio turned around and saw standing behind them was Catra and Octavia.

"What are you three doing here?" Octavia asked.

"Uh uh." The disguised Sea Hawk panicked.

"Ahem." The disguised Ben coughed. "Ugh we were just on our normal patrol Force Captain." He assumed looking at the badge. He just hoped Catra didn't recognise his voice under the helmet.

Catra looked a little suspicious but. "Well Octavia no wonder mining the First Ones stuff is taking forever if these guys are slacking off." She said to her fellow Force Captain. The disguised trio paid attention to what was said.

Just then Octavia's badge blinked. "Yes?" She said on the com.

"Force Captain Octavia, Lord Hordak's ship has arrived." The soldier called on the radio which took everyone present and hidden by surprise.

"Understood I'm on my way." Octavia said. "Hordak has arrived." She said to Catra.

"Right, you three with us." Catra said to the disguised Horde soldiers.

"Uh yes Force Captain Catra!" the disguised Sea Hawk said. So the trio followed the two Force Captains. This left the rest of the team hidden and wonder what to do next.

Later at the elevator entrance Horde Troopers including the disguised rebels lined up in a Stormtrooper like fashion. While Catra, Octavia and Entrapta stood to attention as the lift light appeared. The doors slowly opened and revealed Lord Hordak himself. Catra and Octavia bowed in respect as did Entrapta. Ben had to admit he was even more nervous than he was the first time he encountered Hordak as Ditto during their rescue mission. While Mermista and Sea Hawk looked a little spooked.

Hordak walked out as he addressed his forces. "Lord Hordak we are honoured by your presence." Octavia said humbly.

"Dispense with the pleasantries Force Captain Octavia." Hordak said with venom consumed in his voice. "What is the progress on unearthing the artefact?" Secretly Ben activated his com link so the Princesses, Bow and Rook could hear.

Elsewhere:

In their hiding place She-Ra and the rest of the group listened to what was going on. "The mining will be completed on schedule, and very soon the First Ones tech will be extracted." Catra's voice said over the com.

"First Ones tech?" Bow said surprised.

"Shh." Rook shushed.

"The technology appears to be a rather large seal of some kind, but it shouldn't take long for me to discover it's true meaning." Entrapta's voice said much to the surprise and disappointment of everyone else to her betrayal. "It has to be the biggest one yet."

"That doesn't sound good." Spinnerella realised.

The Entrance:

"Excellent Entrapta." Hordak smirked. "With this my ultimate goal shall be realised, and all those on this pitiful world shall meet its true masters!"

"Yes Lord Hordak." Catra said. "Now if you will follow us." She said as she and Octavia lead their lord and master down the hall towards the command centre. The disguised Ben looked as the other soldiers went to their post while his comrades went to him.

"So what do we do now?" The disguised Mermista asked.

Ben then accessed his com link. "Guys you get all that?"

"We heard." Glimmer said. "If they're mining First Ones tech down here it can only be bad news."

The Hallway:

"We need to make sure they can't extract the First Ones tech." She-Ra said.

"Adora is correct." Rook then brought up a holo map of the complex's position on his tracker. "This complex appears to be built on a fault line. Given how Entrapta described it removing it from this depth could possibly cause a chain reaction in the planets crust, leading to a possible Tsunami." Rook realised. "Or worse."

"It could send the reaction all the way to Salienas." Bow realised.

"Oh no it won't!" Mermista said on the com.

"Then we need to stop that drill." She-Ra realised. "Ben can you get to the control centre, we need to know what we're dealing with."

"Right but your old boss Hordaks here we're gonna have to be careful." Ben relayed over the nodded in agreement on this considering the leader of the Horde himself was now in the base. Things had become even more complicated than before.

Bright Moon:

Meanwhile back at Bright Moon, preparation was underway. Angella and Castaspella were hard at work setting up decorations for this surprise party they were planning to throw Ben for his eighteenth Birthday. They were not the only ones, for they sought the help of the Castle servants. Even Perfuma and Frosta had come to help.

Some of the castle servants were trying to hang some streamers in the throne room. "Okay up a little, a little more…" Angella directed until it was in the right position. "Perfect."

However Castaspella thought otherwise. "Hmm I don't know maybe it should go higher?" She thought.

"Casta you know I've thrown birthday parties for Glimmer right?" Angella questioned.

"I know but this is for Ben so we need to think differently." Casta said. "I'm just saying."

Angella just bore a dry look on her face. Meanwhile Frosta was at work sorting out Ice sculptures she was making them look like Ben and Rook but then she thought for a moment and changed them to look more muscular.

"Heh." She said. "Awesome!"

"Uh Frosta isn't that kind of uh exaggerating a little." Perfuma noticed.

"What thats the way I see them." Frosta said, "What are you doing?"

Perfuma smiled as she too was working. For she had in her hand some small seeds. Frosta looked a little puzzled. "Whats with the seeds?"

"Oh its a surprise I'm doing for Rook, this is as much his party as it is Bens." Perfuma explained. "Hes done a lot too, so I'm doing my part to repay him. So I thought I'd do something that reminded him of his home planet. I found these seeds in some of the boxes that pod carried from his home."

"Wait you went into Rooks room?" Frosta picked up on that part which resulted in Perfuma blushing a bit.

"Ah yes well uh he keeps his room very straight. Anyway I found some of these seeds in one of the boxes, it reminded me of how he told me he was a farmer of this Amber Ogia on his homeworld so I thought he should have a taste of home." Perfuma explained.

"Wow thats…sweet." Frosta said. "Wait in a you like him like him sweet?" She teased.

Perfuma just blushed even more at that statement." N..no we're just good friends."

"Ri….ght." Frosta smirked as she went back to her ice sculptures.

"Did someone say Swift Wind!" Swift Wind appeared between them startling them.

"Uh no we didn't" Perfuma said.

Horde Base:

Back in the depths of the Hordes undersea base, the disguised Ben, Mermista and Sea Hawk continued to follow the unsuspecting Hordak and his Force Captains. They soon arrived at the control centre that overlooked the mining operation of the First Ones artefact. Through the helmet visors of their disguises the rebels saw what they were digging.

"Whoa, thats big." Mermista said amazed by its size.

The disguised Ben nudged her side telling her to stay quiet. For they needed to hear what Hordak was saying. "As you can see the whole facility is powered by the underground faultiness enough energy to power the facility and its main drill." Force Captain Octavia explained.

"Yet so far I'm not seeing the thing coming out, since Lord Hordak's plans rely on it." Catra then said.

"I've come a long way Force Captains, waste my time at your own peril." Hordak said sternly. Luckily Entrapta was on hand.

"Based on my examination it's possible to remove the artefact from the ground, but there is the risk it could trigger a reaction." Entrapta explained. "About a…fifty nine point ninety nine percent chance."

Hordak looked down on the artefact, and then gave a smirk. "Then extract it, the kingdom of Salineas is close by, if they are wiped out then so much the better."

Mermista couldn't believe what she was hearing, she was about to take him down but Ben quickly stopped her. "Continue the drilling." Hordak said leaving the room with Catra.

Octavia then turned to the three disguised soldiers. "You three continue monitoring operations notify me to any developments." Octavia said to them to which they nodded. She then left the room.

Ben, Sea Hawk and Mermista removed their helmets and accessed the com links. "You guys heard all that?"

"Yeah we heard." Bow answered.

"No way I'm letting them destroy my kingdom." Mermista said rather angry.

"They won't we need to bring down this drill." She-Ra called on the comes in their hiding place.

"Agreed, but first we will require a technical read out of this facility." Rook agreed.

"Rooks right its the only way we'll bring this thing down." Bow agreed.

"Okay." She-Ra said. "Ben look at the control panel in front of you, there should be a technical read out terminal…"

Ben looked around as he heard his friends instructions. "…It should be the one marked with a triangle." Ben and his companions looked around the room, and the control panels.

"There." Sea Hawk pointed, they saw the terminal which was marked with a triangle. Ben placed his hand on it and activated a holo console, with several key strokes it brought up a holo map.

Ben then taking the inactive pulled out his Plumbers badge, using it to scan the holomaps data. "Rook I've sent a scan of the holo map."

In their hiding place the Revonnahgander pulled out his own Plumbers badge and it showed said holo map. "We have it Ben."

She-Ra and the other princesses closely studied the holo map. "Okay this is the drill itself and it's powered by three main areas." She-Ra noted.

"Yeah one is a sludge station for all the excess rubble from the drilling." Bow looked as well. "The seconds the power generator on the west side of the complex, and finally is the drill itself."

"Sludge station, isn't that like the place me and alien boy entered through?" Mermista guessed over the coms.

"Then we'll need to split up." Glimmer realised. "Rook take Spinerella and Netossa to take down the power station, Mermista you and Sea Hawk take the sludge station. Ben meet up with me Adora and Bow, we'll take the drill itself."

"Ugh great more grossness!" Mermista groaned.

"Well what are we waiting for. It's Hero Time!" Ben said determined as he cut the com line. Then turned to Mermista and Sea Hawk. "You guys get going but stay in disguise."

"Great but what about you chum?" Sea Hawk asked.

"I'm taking the scenic route." Ben smirked as he activated the Omnitrix and transformed. His new appearance was what appeared to be a humanoid pile of green goo, with green eyes and hovering above him was a small whiteish gray anti gravity project with the Omnitrix symbol on top.

"Ugh thats so gross!" Mermsita groaned.

"Oh yeah watch this!" Goop said as he morphed himself upwards then down into the small vents in the floor below.

"Hm now that is useful." Sea Hawk mused. "Gross but useful."

"Come on." Mermista said as the two donned their Horde helmets and hurried to the Sludge station.

The Power Station:

Outside the doors to the power station were two guards on duty, armed with taser sticks. Suddenly out of nowhere a large energy net surrounded them and a blast of air knocked them into the side. Rook soon appeared and pulled that net into a small storage was then joined by Spinnerella and Netossa as he used the unconscious Horde soldiers palm to open the door, the door opened and he moved the unconscious soldier into the storage space. The three entered and the door sealed shut behind them.

The power generator itself was a rather large looking sphere device, with eight metal pipes flowing from it into the water below towards the underground fault lines.

"Hm looks like the power core is drawing power from the underground volcano this fault line runs on." Rook realised.

"Didn't even know there were underwater volcanoes?" Nettossa said.

"There are most of them dormant, they are quite common on Earth and many other planets as well." Rook explained.

"So whats the plan?" Spinnerella asked.

Rook took a moment to analyse the structure of the generator. "Hmm it would seem to be a standard power core, one option would be to set it to detonate."

"Good plan." Spinerella said.

"Except it would destroy the base us and possibly set off the reaction in the fault lines." Rook then said changing their thoughts on the plan.

"Bad plan." Netossa said.

"However, there is an alternative. We can destroy the connectors to the core and therefore cut power to the entire facility." Rook said.

"Better plan!" Netossa exclaimed.

"But that'll alert the Horde they'll know we're here." Spinnerella said.

"Hey when She-Ra and the others do some work on that drill they'll know we're here either way." Netossa pointed out. "Besides I'm always up for a fight."

"Then let us set to work." Rook said he then pulled out of his armour several small bomb like devices. "These explosive charges should provide the blast power we require. Spinnerella attach these to the top connectors and Netossa you secure them on the lower connectors."

"Right." Spinnerella said, as she and her beloved took four charges each.

"Once set in place the timer is set for sixty seconds. Remember once set that is it no second chances." Rook explained to them.

So without delay Spinnerella used her air powers to raise the charges into the air through small tornadoes and Netossa used her nets to lock them in place. She then did the same nets on the lower connectors. Rook then pressed a holo button on his gauntlet, and with one beep the charges were set.

"Okay lets go.." Suddenly they heard electricity sparking and saw behind them several Horde Troopers armed with taser sticks with two security bots.

"Oh poodoo!" Netossa grimace.

Sludge station:

Meanwhile a Horde Trooper was on guard at the sludge station door. Just then the disguised Mermista and Sea Hawk came over. "Hello fellow trooper we're here to relieve you." Sea Hawk said.

"What? But this isn't the end of my shift?" The trooper questioned.

"Yes well its Force Captains orders, and we must be extra vigilant, don't want to look bad in front of Lord Hordak right?" Sea Hawk explained.

However while the Trooper listened he still wasn't convinced by this everything in the Horde ran to protocol. So an early relief was rather questionable. "Be that as it may I will have to confirm with the Force Captain."

The Trooper was about to contact Catra when suddenly he was zapped by a taser stick. He collapsed and it was Sea Hawk who zapped him. "Really?" Mermista questioned.

"What I panicked." Sea Hawk shrugged as the two disposed of their helmets and using her powers Mermista pried open the door.

Inside the Horde Troopers were caught by surprise as the water swished around the room catching all of them. Any stragglers were attacked by Sea Hawk who wielded his energy cutlass. He clashed with one Horde Trooper against his taser stick only for the sea captain to trip him up with a leg swipe then roundhouse kicked away another trooper and Mermsita simply catapulted him away into a wall.

"Hah ha!" Sea Hawk cheered. They then turned to the sludge station itself. They saw several pipes before them and below them was a pool of sludge waste from the drilling. Mermista saw the pipe that she and Ripjaws had come out of previously.

Sea Hawk looked at the control console and saw the feed pipes were displayed. "Okay looks like these pipes come straight from the drill, all waste is dumped here."

This suddenly sparked an idea in Mermista's head. "Then lets see what happens when that sludge is pumped back to it." She smirked. She formed her trident and used her powers to manipulate the sludgy water and pushed it back through the pipes. Pressure was beginning to build up.

"Hault!" Called a voice and Sea Hawk turned to see it was a group of Horde Troopers. "Stop them!" The troopers charged.

"Fear not my dear princess I will deal with these fiends!" Sea Hawk exclaimed as he readied his cutlass.

"Ugh just get'em already!" Mermista exclaimed to him.

Sea Hawk turned and charged at his opponents. "ADVENTURE!"

The Drill:

In the centre of the base was the drill itself it was still drilling around the area of the First Ones artefact. The drill was manned by several Horde Troopers. Just then teleporting in on the platform just above the drill was Glimmer, She-Ra and Bow. They quickly hid out of sight, so as to, avoid being seen by the Horde Troopers below.

"Okay that looks like the main drill controls." She-Ra noticed.

"But where's Ben?" Bow asked.

Their answer came seconds later, for in the pipe grate next to them a small pool of green slime emerged. Glimmer looked and noticed it. "Uh guys." They turned and saw the large puddle of green goo, then seconds later came a certain gravity projector. It lifted up and reformed Goop's body.

"Ewww!" She-Ra, Bow and Glimmer grimaced, but then they noticed a certain symbol on the gravity projector.

"Ben is that you?" Glimmer asked.

"Who else would it be?" Goop asked.

"Oh that has to be the grossest thing I've seen you change into!" Bow said nearly about to barf.

"Hey you know in someway it's cool!" Goop protested before the Omnitrix timed out and reverted goop back to Ben. "Besides do you know how many sewer pipes I had to go through just to get here." Ben said but then looked a little sad as he remembered the last time he said the same thing to Kevin during his and Rooks car show caper.

"Anyway what're we looking at?" Ben asked as he came over to them. They looked down and saw the drill was manned by three Troopers and the upper mechanism was held in place by three metal reinforced beams.

"Looks like there's three manning the main controls." She-Ra said. "Thats the standard contingent for mining operations." Just then they heard a loud grumbling sound coming from the drill itself namely the pipes on its side that disposed of any waste.

"Sounds like Mermista's gumming up the works with the sludge." Ben realised this could only be the water princesses doing.

"Then we better work fast." Glimmer realised.

"Okay Ben you and me will deal with those support beams if we sever them it should weaken the drill further." She-Ra realised.

"Okay while me and Bow deal with the guys manning it." Glimmer guessed.

"Lets do it." Bow said.

Far below warning lights emerged from the consoles and the Horde Troopers investigated. "Looks like theres an obstruction in the waste pipes." One trooper said to a lizard one.

The lizard Horde Trooper accessed the coms line in his helmet. "Sludge station from Drill Control, we're reading an obstruction in the waste pipes, please respond." However all the Trooper got was static on the radio. "Hello, is anyone there?" He then asked.

Suddenly teleporting in was Bow and Glimmer. The troopers were taken completely by surprise. They drew their taser sticks and were about to attack. Bow drew one of his trick arrows from his quiver and fired them from his namesake.

The arrow suddenly split apart into three smaller arrows. One hit the troopers taser tick neutralising it with a shock then the other two shocked him with electricity.

The other trooper was suddenly blasted by Glimmers energy blast as he fell off the platform with a scream. "Nice Bow."

"Yeah, EMP and shock arrows something me and Rook were working on." Bow explained. "Multipurpose trick arrows."

Suddenly more Troopers arrived on the scene armed with taser sticks and blasters. They opened fire on the two friends. Bow suddenly pulled another arrow from his quiver and the arrow transformed into a shield deflecting the blasts.

Glimmer teleported away and then reappeared above the troopers and fired a massive energy blast knocking three to the ground. This made an opening for Bow as he drew two arrows from his quiver and fired them, one opened up in a net trapping one trooper and another blinded the other trooper with blue gas. Bow then kicked the trooper to the ground and fired another arrow at an incoming trooper zapping him with electricity.

This sounded alerts throughout the entire complex Horde troopers hurried through the halls and grabbed their weapons from the armoury.

In the command centre Catra and Octavia arrived in the control room. "What the hells going on?!" Catra questioned.

"There's an attack on the drill its the Princesses!" The trooper reported. "We've lost contact with the Sludge Station and Power core."

"What!?" Octavia exclaimed.

"Can't get underwater huh?" Catra said looking at the Force Captain.

"Is there a problem Force Captain?" The two turned round and looked to see Hordak standing behind them.

"Uh the.. the Princesses are here we don't know how they got through security." Octavia explained.

"Then why are you standing here!" Hordak questioned furiously.

"Yes Lord Hordak." Catra bowed trying to rectify this. "Octavia get to the power station and deal with the problem, I'll deal with the problems at the drill." She said as she left for the drill.

"You three with me!" Octavia said to three Horde Troopers as they hurried out of the room. Lord Hordak was alone in the room, he noticed on the security monitors there was a certain Princess of Power and shapeshifter climbing the side of the drill. His eyed glowed in anger as he saw this development.

The Power Station:

Two Horde Troopers were blasted into a wall trapped in an energy net. Other troopers swung their taser rods at Rook who quickly dodged them and then fired his Proto Blaster at the troopers knocking them back. Then a blast of a tornado compliments of Spinnerella and then pinned to a wall with a net made by Netossa. However they had bigger problems, for the charges they laid at the power core were ready to explode counting as already fifty seconds had passed.

"Those charges will explode any second we must get clear now!" Rook exclaimed.

"I'm on it!" Spinnerella exclaimed as she stood in front of the incoming Troopers and she unleashed a powerful torrent of wind upon them blasting them out of the room.

"Move move!" Rook yelled as the timer was counting down from 5…4…3…2…1…

*BANG!* The charges exploded on the core couplings destroying them completely and the power core fell and crashed down into the water. It sparked with power before it exploded with an enormous bang and the blast encompassed the entire smoke passed to reveal that Rook and Spinerella were protected by one of Netossa's net shields. The shield disappeared and they were safe and well.

"Whew thats my girl." Spinerella smiled. The lights suddenly went out and seconds later they shone red.

"It would seem they have an emergency power source." Rook realised.

"So your the rats causing bugs in my station!" They looked and saw Octavia with three Horde Troopers with her.

Rook readied his Proto Tool while the two princesses readied their respective powers. The Horde Troopers readied their weapons while Octavia revealed her hair was tentacles as she roared at them.

The Sludge Station:

The lights had gone out in the Sludge Station and were under the glow of a red light. Sea Hawk clashed his energy cutlass with the Horde Troopers taser stick. He quickly and elegantly kicked the trooper away and blocked an incoming attack from another trooper. "Ha hah I'm afraid you'll have to be quicker than that!" Sea Hawk then tripped up the trooper behind him.

Suddenly one trooper managed to zap him in the back with a taser rod. He was forced to the ground. He looked up and saw he was surrounded by the Troopers.

They were about to deliver the final blow when suddenly a blast of sludgy water slammed them into the wall. Sea Hawk looked and saw it was Mermista she then manipulated the sludge and blasted it at more incoming troopers.

Sea Hawk got up and greeted his princess. "Many thanks my beloved." Sea Hawk said charmingly.

"Hey cut the charm will you!" Mermista said to him, just then they saw steam bursting from the pipes as well as sludge. It would seem the pressure was building up more and more. "I think thats our cue to go, come on we gotta find the others."

"A fine idea." Sea Hawk said as the two hurried out of the room to try and find their comrades.

The Drill:

Meanwhile She-Ra and Ben had made it to the top of the drill while Glimmer and Bow dealt with the ground forces. They looked and saw the drill was held up on the reinforced metal beams that surrounded the structure as well. The drill vibrated and some sludge started emerging more from the pipes. They too were under the glow of red lights.

"Looks like the guys have done their part." Ben realised.

"Yeah now we gotta do something about this drill." She-Ra said as she looked at the structure. "If we rip out these large bolts it'll rip the drill clean out of the beams."

"Then we'll need some Humungosaur muscle!" Ben exclaimed as he activated the Omnitrix and dialled in Humungosaur he slammed down the dial but instead of Humungosaur he transformed into what looked like a cross between a rooster and a hawk. He had a muscular build with sharp black claws on his toes, talons on his hands and two large curved talons on his arms. He has green eyes with a short yellow beak and has brown feathers with a white brown chest and mohawk. He wore a green mask, with green bracelets on his arms, a green belt with a white strap on his was it and black briefs. He wore a strap vest on his chest with the Omnitrix symbol in the centre.

"Kickin Hawk!?" He exclaimed. "Okay maybe I can work with this."

She-Ra sheathed her sword on her back then used her enhanced strength to rip the bolt straight from its housing then tossed it away. Kickin Hawk followed suit using his arm talons to slice at the bolts housing then with his own strength yanked them out and tossed them helped to weaken the drill structure it was already beginning to buckle from the damage. They could feel the vibrations at their feet.

"Looks like she's ready to blow a few more hits and…" Suddenly Kickin Hawk was blasted off the roof of the drill and over the side much to She-Ra's horror.

"BEN!" She-Ra cried. However when she turned round to face his attacker, she looked in horror for it was none other than Hordak, and on his right arm was a rather large energy cannon glowing red with energy and pouring with smoke.

She-Ra glared as she turned to her opponent. Who simply landed on the roof of the drill as he glared at the Princess of Power.

"So this is the princess who's been causing me a great deal of trouble." Hordak addressed her. "The so full of potential Force Captain that Shadow Weaver was so fond of."

"Hordak." She-Ra glared. "I'm not your servant anymore and like I told Shadow Weaver I am never coming back to the Horde, I know how you really treat Etheria's people, you lied to me! You lied to all of us!"

"I could care less of your so called ideals girl, you are of no further use to the Horde." Hordak said with conviction. "Unlike my incompetent former second in command, I know when to cut loose a defective Force Captain." His blaster energised and fired an energy blast at She-Ra. Who quickly changed her sword to a shield deflecting the blast.

Hordak fired another energy blast but She-Ra duck and evaded to avoid the blasts as her shield reverted back to the Sword of Protection which she used to deflect the blasts. As she yelled at her opponent.

Far on the side of the drill was Kickin Hawk who managed to did his claws into the side to prevent his fall. "Whew, thank Azmuth for these talons." He breathed. His attention was soon caught by the laser blasts and the sound of deflecting metal sounds. "Adora! I gotta get up there an…."

Out of nowhere some force kicked him off the Drill and catapulted down below close to the drill head itself. Kickin Hawk regained his footing looking for the one who catapulted him down. A loud bang on the walkway and a certain female laugh all but confirmed his suspicions. Standing before him was Catra.

"Hey Benny boy." Catra smirked teasingly.

"Catra!" Kickin Hawk glared. "Never a pleasure."

The feline Force Captain looked at his new form and chuckled. "Heh you know I always thought you were so ruffled with feathers but I didn't think you meant it like this."

"Ha ha says the original fur ball." Kickin Hawk said sarcastically. "Now as much as I'd like to play cat and chicken isn't your boss stealing your spot light with your fair Adora?"

Catra did give a slight blush at that last part. "Y..well, as much as I like messing with Adora, your the only one in my sights right now."

"Aww I knew you had a thing for me?" Kickin Hawk said teasingly.

Catra sheathed her claws and charged at him, however the alien Chickenhawk was standing fists ready and light on his feet. Just as Catra slashed at him Kickin Hawk leaped over her then threw a spinkick at the feline who got hit in the back. Catra quickly recovered and slashed at him only for him to dodge every attack then bent over backwards to avoid one slash. Then flipped over with another spin kick.

Catra couldn't believe this. "Guess what kitty cat your not the only one who's double jointed. Kickin Hawks my best hand to hand fighter." He then threw several kicks at Catra who dodged them only for Kickin Hawk to then throw another kick to her head knocking her back.

"Or feet to head fighter." Kickin Hawk smirked. Catra growled as she lunged herself towards him slashing her claws.

Power Station:

Rook's Proto-Blade clashed against Force Captain Octavia's taser stick she slashed it at the Revonnahgander only for him to duck and then flip over her. Except she used her tentacled hair to grab his leg and tossed him into a wall. Rook groaned but before she could attack him, an extremely powerful gust of wind blasted her back. She looked and saw it was Spinnerella using her powers.

The fish like Force Captain forced herself to push against the gusts of wind she pushed and pushed until she was close enough to try and zap the wind princess with her taser stick. Suddenly a laser blast hit her leg and knocked her off balance and left her open to an energy net which then pinned her to the far wall. She growled and grunted as she tried to force her way out.

Rook stood with Spinnerella and Netossa triumphant. "You two really do make an effective team." Rook complimented.

"Aw yeah Team Spintossa for the win!" Netossa cheered as she shot her fist into the air. Only to see her beloved with a teasingly raised eyebrow.

"Really darling I thought we weren't calling ourselves that?" She questioned teasingly.

Netossa blushed at that as she fiddled with her hair. "Ah uh well uh I…Oh okay I guess its started to grow on me." She admitted. "BUT NOONE TELL THIS TO BEN! EVEN IF IT IS HIS BIRTHDAY!" She said rather sternly.

"Not a word." Rook chuckled.

"Guys!" Called a voice they looked to see Mermista and Sea Hawk heading towards them.

"Mermista, Sea Hawk are you both alright." Rook asked.

"Yeah and the Sludge station is clogged." Sea Hawk quipped. Only to be elbowed by Mermista.

"Yeah that was worse than one of Bens jokes." Mermista said much to Sea Hawks dismay.

"Never mind that for now we need to rondevu with She-Ra and the others they may need our help!" Rook then reminded and everyone hurried down the hall to the drilling room.

The Drill:

Below the drill housing Glimmer had just blasted the last of the Horde Troopers with her magic. "Heh chumps."

Bow looked at the terminal, and noticed the drill was reaching critical mass. "Okay looks like that sludge block did it few more minutes and this drill will go critical."

Right when the master archer said that a huge explosion was heard from above the two looked up in shock and even from their vantage point below they could see She-Ra was fighting someone and when she dodged another laser blast they saw who it was.

"I…Its Hordak!" Bow exclaimed.

"We've gotta help her!" Glimmer exclaimed she was about to teleport away but Bow stopped her.

"Hold on Glimmer you heard what your mom said we stop the drilling, Hordaks too strong to fight alone!" Bow reminded her.

"Adoras up there! This might be our one chance to stop the Horde I have to take it!" Glimmer said teleporting away.

"GLIMMER!" Bow exclaimed.

She-Ra deflected another blast from Hordak and then switched her sword to a mace and swung it at him. However he blocked it with his cannon and dodged the incoming strikes. He grabbed it in his hand then tossed She-Ra over to the edge of the drill top. She-Ra jammed her sword into the floor to keep her from falling off.

She looked up and saw Hordak was ready to fire another blast from his arm cannon. All of a sudden Glimmer teleported in behind him and blasted him with a blast of her magic. Catapulting him across the ground.

"FOR ETHERIA!" Glimmer exclaimed.

"Glimmer!" She-Ra said surprised.

Hordak quickly recovered and fired an energy blast from his cannon which Glimmer teleported away to avoid then reappeared firing blasts of magic energy. She yelled as she was about to hit him in the face with magic energy when Hordak grabbed her by the wrist and landed a blast in the gut sending her flying across the floor.

The Horde leader fired another energy blast only for She-Ra to dive in the way and formed her sword into a shield blocking the blast.

Far below Kickin Hawk avoided another kick from Catra which he responded with a quick slash of his arm talons. The feline narrowly avoided them then slipped under him and clawed the chicken right in the arm causing him to cry out in pain.

"Grr I so hate that!" Kickin Hawk growled.

Catra was about to attack when suddenly an arrow struck down from above then suddenly exploded a green grass which Catra recognised when she breathed it in.

"Oh no…not this again!" But it was too late she began to feel the effects. Her eyes widened and had a goofy grin on her face. "WEEEE!" She leaped off the walkway and went splash into the sludge close to the First Ones seal.

Kickin Hawk looked up and saw it came from Bow. "Heh nice shot man!" He gave a thumbs up.

"Thanks I had a feeling that arrow would come in handy." Bow said. "But never mind that Glimmer and She-Ra need help Hordak has them pinned!" He then called.

"Hordak!" Kickin Hawk exclaimed. He suddenly timed out and switched back to Ben. However he wasn't going to let this stop him. He pulled out a familiar looking circle which he pulled open to reveal a hover board.

Hordak continued to fire on She-Ra and Glimmer who were pinned down. "Its time I rid myself of you pests once and for all."

"Hey pale face!" Hordak turned round only to get hit in the face with the broad end of Bens hover board as he flew right passed him. Hordak growled as he fired at Ben with his energy cannon. The Omnitrix bearer manoeuvred his board with skills like he was surfing in the air.

He rolled in slow motion to avoid another he closed in on Hordak and with one twist of the Omnitrix he slammed down the dial and leaped into the air transforming into Razor Kat. He landed in front of She-Ra and Glimmer and caught his hover board in his hand and placed it in his back.

"Ben!" Glimmer exclaimed.

"Nice timing." She-Ra smirked.

"Thanks, I do like to make an entrance." Razor Kat smirked. He then turned to Hordak who glared and breathed heavily in anger. "So your the big bad boss of the Horde."

"You, the shapeshifter who's been as much of a nuisance than She-Ra." Hordak growled. "Shadow Weaver neglected the threat you pose but I don't!"

"Oh yeah how is Shadow Weaver still quaking in fear?" Razor Kat smirked.

Hordak responded to that by firing his energy cannon and Razor Kat using his cat like agility dodged the blast while Glimmer teleported She-Ra away and reappeared next to him.

"You are truly a fool if you think you can face the might of the Horde!" Hordak proclaimed.

"You're not the first tyrant to say that pal! And heres how I deal with tyrants!" Razor Kat went ahead and twisted the Omnitrix symbol to ninety degrees and it flashed green.

Suddenly he began to armour up and after an epic transformation he was now armoured up. His armour bore white clawed gauntlets and armoured boots with green ankles and energy lines. His gauntlets had green lines with green energy body armour was black with green lines and green tiger stripes on its lower body. The upper body had maroon red coloured armour with a white stripe going across the chest and shoulders. green pipes lead from the Omnitrix symbol. His helmet was black with white stripes and a maroon red face plate with teeth and green eyes. Part of his mullet hung out. Even his tail was armoured up in white.

"OMNIKIX RAZOR KAT!" He proclaimed.

Hordak fired his energy cannon at the armoured cat who dodged out of the way with his cat agility. Then his clawed hands energised with green claws and with a slash they flew off like ninja stars Hordak blocked them with his cannon only for them to explode.

Omnikix Razor Kat was amazed. "Whoa now thats what I call a claw!" Hordak's cannon was damaged but he was still able to fire another energy blast. She-Ra quickly blocked the blast with her shield, then Glimmer attacked with her own magic blast which temporarily blinded Hordak.

"Ben get him now!" Glimmer exclaimed. The armoured cat charged at him but Hordak despite his lack of sight fired more energy blasts at him. Omnikix Razor Kat slashed his hands and suddenly green energy whips emerged from his gauntlets and sliced the energy blast in half.

"Whoa talk about whip it!" he smirked. Hordak growled even more and fired more energy blasts only for them to be deflected by the whip attacks from Omnikix Razor Kat.

This opened the way for She-Ra to slash her sword at her former master which he narrowly dodged but it managed to clip the cannon. The Hordak fired another blast from his cannon She-Ra and Omnikix Razor Kat ducked out of the way and the blast hit one of the remaining bolts locking the drill in place.

The drill began to buckle, and the metal beams began to break. Bow heard the vibrations in the drill and the walkways started to collapse.

"Oh no!" Bow exclaimed knowing full well what was about to happen. He pulled out an arrow and fired it at the far wall which was a grapple line and swung to safety.

The drill itself suddenly collapsed from the weight, Hordak fell with the collapsing rubble. Omnikix Razor Kat nearly fell until he extended out one of his whips to the upper rafters.

"She-Ra! Glimmer grab on!" He called, She-Ra and Glimmer grabbed onto the armoured cat and they dangled from above the destroyed rubble. They looked down at the destroyed rubble of the drill. They all breathed a sigh of relief. "Whew, well that could've been worse." He said.

Right when he said that they all heard the alarming sound of the Omnitrix timing out with a red light. "You just had to say something." Glimmer groaned. In one bright green flash Omnikix Razor Kat reverted back to Ben. Now their one dangling energy whip was gone with it. They all grimaced as the reality hit them.

"Oh Bugger!" Ben grimaced. They all screamed as they fell down towards the rubble. Bow gasped as he saw this happen from afar.

"Hold on!" Bow called as he fired an arrow and it exploded into a net that stretched across the crater. They all fell into it and it stretched until the net broke and they hit the ground. They were once again piled on top of Ben.

"Ugh thank goodness for net arrows." Ben groaned. "But why does everyone pile on me!"

They all got up from the floor but She-Ra was the most alert as she looked around the wreckage. "Guys stay sharp we don't know where…."

A loud rumble in the rubble caught their attention, as they turned to their right and saw Hordak emerging from the rubble. He was unscathed but his cannon was damaged.

"Oh come on what is he a Terminator or something?" Ben said not believing how Hordak survived that fall. But then again Vilgax had survived worse. Hordak breathed heavily with his ruined robes and robotics and he was shaking as he aimed his charging cannon at his opponents.

She-Ra stood ready, but Ben couldn't transform as the Omnitrix was still flashing red in recharge mode. Glimmer tried to use her magic but she discovered she was almost out of energy. Given how she used it to fight Hordak.

"Oh no I'm out of magic." Glimmer panicked. Hordak smirked as he fired an energy blast right towards them.

Ben quickly stood in front of his friends then put his hands out. "CONTIGO!" Suddenly a pink energy wall appeared in front of them and deflected the blast right back at Hordak completely destroying his energy cannon as he cried out in pain.

Glimmer and She-Ra couldn't believe what they'd just seen. "Ben d…did you just."

"Do magic, yeah weird right?" Ben breathed a smirk answering Glimmers question. "But hey when your cousins an Anodite you pick up a few tricks."

"Thats comforting." She-Ra said as the tip of the sword touched the ground. All of a sudden it started to glow with energy it was then all eyes were on the ground as the First Ones symbols began to shine below them. Bow looked at the ground from his vantage point and saw the sword reacted to the artefact. However the greatest horror was yet to come for then it looked like the artefact began to move. Everyone moved back as the artefact suddenly glowed and then a large pillar of light emerged from the sea.

Following this a large whirlpool began to form around the base. The sheer force of the whirl pool began tear the base apart, piece by piece. Everyone inside began to feel the forces of the ocean around them.

"Uh guys whats happening!" Ben exclaimed.

Bow jumped form the walkway and joined his friends. "This thing is some kind of First Ones elemental control device. It must've helped to regulate tidal patterns around this are!"

"And now it has malfunctioned from all the drilling." Called a voice and they saw above that Rook, Mermista, Spinnerella, Sea Hawk and Netossa had arrived.

"We gotta get out of here!" She-Ra exclaimed.

Bow, Ben, She-Ra and Glimmer hurried towards a collapsed piece of the walkway. The Princess of Bright Moon looked back and saw Catra who had recovered from the Catnip gas was helping her master escape with the help of Force Captain Octavia.

"Hordaks getting away!" Glimmer growled and she was about to go after them until Bow stopped her.

"And so should we or we'll be history like the rest of this place!" Bow reminded her as he pulled her back. Glimmer wanted to go after them to end this war but she knew they couldn't do that if they were drowned at the bottom of the ocean. So she climbed the collapsed walkway and hurried to meet with the others.

In their escape Catra and Octavia supported their lord and master and are soon joined by Entrapta and fleeing Horde troopers. "Hordak?!" Entrapta exclaimed. "What happened?"

"The princesses and Tennyson what do you think!" Catra yelled especially since she still had a headache from that catnip gas.

"Oh right well I've discovered that the First Ones artefact here was part of an environment control to regulate the tides, clearly they were trying to discover something in the very sea bed! Isn't that exciting!"

Catra and Octavia had dry looks as they held their masters, this wasn't the time for excited explanations. Even the Horde Troopers had a look that said "Really?" Behind their helmet visors.

"Oh right the base is flooding got it!" Entrapta said as she along with their master and troopers escaped.

Elsewhere:

The Princesses, Bow, Sea Hawk, Ben and Rook ran through the hallways as the very base began to fall apart as the glass cracked and the base began to flood. They ran until they arrived at the elevator that brought Hordak down from the platform above.

"Almost there!" Sea Hawk called but suddenly the lift exploded with water surging towards them. Luckily Mermista was able to push the water back with her powers. However it looks like their escape route was cut off.

"We're trapped." Bow exclaimed.

Ben tried to transform but it still hadn't recharged from using the Omnikix armour. "Well I got nothing." Ben said.

"We can't take the lift so what do we do?!" Netossa asked. Glimmer looked around and then she had an idea.

"We go up!" Glimmer said.

She-Ra began to see what Glimmer was getting at. "Of course. Mermista can you make a water tube big enough for all of us to get through?"

Mermista struggled to hold the water back even with her powers. "Yeah, but how do we plan on getting up it?" She questioned with effort.

Rook had a solution to that. "Spinnerella can you generate enough of an air current to catapult us up?"

"Easily." Spinnerella said confidently.

"Gahh!" Called a still struggling Mermista against the tides. "If we're planning to do something lets hurry up and do it!"

"Everyone stay close to me." Spinnerella said to everyone. Everyone gathered in close to Spinnerella. Mermista slowly moved back and she looked to her friends, Ben nodded at her telling her it was time.

So with one grunt Mermista dropped her influence on the water and it surged towards them. She quickly generated a wall around all of them. Rook fired a rocket from his Proto-Tool and blasted a hole in the roof of the base. Mermista generated a water funnel through the hole all the way to the surface.

Now it was Spinnerella's turn she generated a strong wind current which surged through the water funnel. And slowly but surely everyone began to float into the air and then shot right into the air like a bullet coming out of a gun.

On the surface of the sea the water funnel opened and shooting out was our heroes. However one thing they hadn't thought of was a landing. They all screamed in terror as they were about to fall back into the sea. When suddenly flying to the rescue was the Proto Truck. It swooped in with the rear roof hatch open and everyone fell inside, first Ben, She-Ra, Glimmer, Rook, Mermista, Sea Hawk, Bow, Netossa and finally Spinnerella.

"Owww!" Everyone groaned while Ben was grumbling at the bottom of the pile. Again.

"Do I have a sign on me that says dogpile on me or something!?" Ben complained.

"Bad luck I suppose old chum?" Sea Hawk shrugged.

Everyone soon got up off of Ben, but as it seemed like their mission had been accomplished when they looked out from the front windscreen of the Proto Truck. They couldn't have been more wrong.

"Uh guys I don't think we're done yet." Bow realised rather petrified.

What they saw was the whirlpool generated by the First Ones elemental device, growing bigger and bigger as it exposed the sea bed below. The torrents in the water began to form a tsunami.

Rook looked at the instruments on the Proto Truck and scanned the size of the whirlpool and the effects caused by it. "The whirlpool is creating a chain reaction within the sea itself and the waves it is creating will soon grow to a tidal wave that will destroy all life within a hundred mile radius."

"My kingdom!" Mermista realised in horror as Sea Hawk laid a comforting hand on her shoulder.

"We need to stop this!" She-Ra declared. "The First Ones tech is causing this so we need to stop it. If I can get close enough maybe I can use the sword to shut it down."

"Adora, the wind currents generated within the eye of the whirlpool are to dangerous for anyone to survive even you." Rook warned.

"I have to try!" She-Ra decided.

"You mean we have to try!" Ben said standing next to her, then right on cue the Omnitrix flashed green as it was fully recharged. He activated the Omnitrix and slammed down the dial transforming him into Terraspin.

"If I can use Terraspin to ride the currents of the whirlpool I can get Adora close to the First Ones tech." Terraspin said.

Bow pondered about it for a moment, then he spoke. "Its risky but it could work, but that wave still needs to be stopped."

Glimmer turned to Mermista. "Mermista can you try and hold the wave back?"

"I can try but it won't hold for long." Mermista said.

"You will not be able to hold it alone." Rook said as he looked to a certain wind spinning princess. "Spinnerella, you can control the wind currents, can you generate a current as strong as the whirlpool?"

"I should be able to why?" Spinerella asked.

"Because if you can generate an equal opposite force you should be able to force the wave back, but you must get clear before another can form." Rook said. "Otherwise you could be overwhelmed by the wave."

"There's lives at stake we'll have to risk it." Spinnerella said but a rather worried Netossa looked concerned.

"Spinny y…you sure?" Netossa said worried for her beloved. Spinnerella took her hand and looked with lovingly assuring eyes.

"Darling I'll be fine." Spinerella said.

"Yeah I'll make sure of it." Mermista agreed in assurance.

"Okay we know what we need to do so lets make it count!" Terraspin said.

"Yes and hopefully we'll be back in time for the party!" Sea Hawk proclaimed only to have his foot stamped on by Glimmer.

"Party?" Terraspin questioned.

"Uh yeah uh… a uh victory party for when we stop this uh…Etheria ending crisis!" Glimmer smiled innocently as did Bow and everyone else.

Terraspin wondered what that was about, but right now that would have to wait. As they had a whirlpool/tsunami to stop.

The rear doors of the truck opened as She-Ra and Terraspin stood ready for action. "Ready?" Terraspin asked.

"Lets do this." She-Ra answered climbing on top of the alien turtles shell. He jumped from the truck and his fins turned into propellers as he flew towards the eye of the whirlpool.

Mermista and Spinnerella then jumped from the truck as the water princess generated a water blob which shot across the sea with them on board.

Terraspin and She-Ra flew into the whirlpool, as the Princess of Power gripped the shell for dear life, while the Geochelone Aerio grunted with the effort. They entered the eye of the whirlpool as he tried to stabilise himself. She-Ra looked down and saw at the centre of the whirlpool the First Ones tech.

"Ben we need to get closer!" She-Ra called as she tried to withstand the speeding air currents.

"Here goes nothing!" Terraspin cried as they dived down into the eye his fins kept spinning. The turbulence was starting to knock them off balance, She-Ra tried her best to hold on. "Hang on Adora!"

"I am!" She-Ra yelled.

Meanwhile the tidal wave caused by the waves generated by the whirlpool was blasting towards Salienas with every intent of recreating the great flood that sank Atlantis to the bottom of the sea.

Mermista and Spinnerella arrived in front of the giant wave floating on a wave of their own. "You ready?" Mermista said.

"Always!" Spinnerella said determined so Mermista summoned every ounce of her influence on the sea below her and fired a massive wave towards the tidal wave.

Spinnerella followed with a large current of purple wind and helped propel Mermista's wave with an equal force to the tidal wave. The two waves collided and the duel forces managed to cancel each other out. The shockwave of the impact forced the two princesses back.

However as they regained their footing on the water wave they looked to see another wave was about to form. They just hoped Ben and She-Ra could stop the source in time.

Inside the whirlpool Terraspin finally managed to ride the currents inside the eye of the whirlpool. "Come on ride the current." He growled. They rode the current going round and round and round, until they were getting close enough to the First Ones device.

"Okay Ben keep it steady!" She-Ra called as she slowly reached her sword out to the First Ones device, and it began to glow. She managed to leap out onto it grabbing onto it with her immense strength.

Suddenly she noticed a piece of the base rubble flying in the whirlpool. But what alarmed her the most was where it was heading towards, or rather who it was hurdling towards.

"Ben look out!" She-Ra cried but it was too late the rubble slammed right into Terraspins face and sent him hurdling into the whirlpool much to her horror. "BEN!" She cried. Terraspin was flung out of the whirlpool at high speed and sent crashing into the water below.

Inside the eye of the whirlpool, there wasn't much that She-Ra could do to help Ben. So she focused on the mission, so she raised her sword and focused her energy. A golden aura began to surround her and the sword, her eyes glowed and so did the rune stone in the sword.

"ITS HERO TIME!" She proclaimed. She placed the tip of the sword onto the centre of the First Ones device. It began to react to the swords presence and slowly the device immediately responded and shut down to its former state. The whirl pool began to die down around her and flooded the area once again. From afar the second tidal wave was about to hit Spinerella and Mermista. When suddenly the wave died down and flowed back down to the ocean bed. The two princesses sighed in relief and showed a smile of joy the danger had been averted.

Moments later She-Ra emerged from the water coughing up water. She looked all around her for any sign of her missing comrade. "Ben! Ben!" She called. However there was no response, just then out of the corner of her eye she saw something floating in the water.

"Ben!" She cried and she quickly swam over to the unconscious Ben who had just transformed back from Terraspin after that crash from the sea. "Ben wake up! Ben!" She cried. Just then Mermista and Spinnerella came over to them on the small wave.

"Is he alright?" Spinnerella asked.

"Ben come on wake up!" She-Ra exclaimed to him practically shaking him in the water. Just then he coughed up water in his mouth and he started breathing. He opened his eyes and saw the three princesses above him.

"Whoa, am I in heaven?" He joked She-Ra and Spinnerella couldn't help but sigh in relief and shake their heads with joking smiles.

"Even drowned your not funny." Mermista joked.

"Ha ha, you'll get my jokes someday." Ben cracked just then the Proto-Truck hovered down to pick everyone up. Their mission had been completed.

Meanwhile a distance away from the destroyed base, a Horde sea ship was fleeing the scene with Hordak, Catra, Entrapta, Octavia and several Horde Troopers on seethed with rage at the loss of not only the First Ones technology, but also seeing first hand just how much of a threat that She-Ra and this shapeshifter truly were. This made him even more determined to eliminate them.

"Lord Hordak I do apologise for this loss, we will avenge this!" Catra said to her master.

Hordak turned to her with a flume of fury in his eyes as he headed to the command cabin. "Then prove it with your actions and rid me of these nuisance's or perhaps I was wrong to dismiss Shadow Weaver's views of you." He simply said heading away. Leaving Catra clenching her clawed fists tightly in frustration and anger.

Later that night: Bright Moon:

Soon everyone was back at Bright Moon safely, and as night drew in Glimmer, Bow, Adora, Rook and Ben now in the attire they wore at Princess Prom heading towards the throne room. However Ben was a little confused as to why he had to dress up.

"Uh guys tell me again why we needed to dress up?" Ben questioned.

"Relax Ben when do we need a reason to do anything?" Bow said hiding his excitement for what was about to happen. So were Adora and Glimmer, Rook knew what was going on

Soon they arrived at the doors to the throne room and Glimmer stood at them with a smile. "Hey Ben you took a pretty nasty hit when you flew out of that whirlpool, you sure you haven't forgotten anything?" She said barely able to contain her excitement.

"Okay Glimmer what is with you guys, I'm very sure I haven't forgotten anything?" Ben said just wanting to know what the heck was going on.

Glimmer beamed with a smile squealing with excitement. "Well then…" She threw open the throne room doors and.

"SURPRISE!" The whole room exploded with confetti and standing before them were the Princesses, Angella, Castaspella, Sea Hawk and Swift Wind dressed up in their Princess Prom attire. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEN!"

Ben was completely taken aback by this big surprise. He was honestly quite touched. "Wha…whu…how did you guys?!"

"Well we noticed you looked a little homesick lately, and when Rook told us today was your birthday we decided to throw you a party." Glimmer explained.

"Yeah, besides after all you and Rook have done for us its the least we could do to cheer you up." Adora agreed. "I maybe new to parties and Birthdays but, if it means cheering up the person who gave me confidence as both me and She-Ra its worth it."

The other princesses nodded in agreement just as Swift Wind rubbed his face on Bens to show he appreciates him. "I…I don't know what to say guys?" Ben said rather touched.

"Don't say anything Benjamin its the least we could do, and I know your family isn't here to celebrate. But you do have a family in all of us." Angella said to him.

"Oh and Rook." Perfuma said getting the Revonnahganders attention. "This is as much your party as it is Bens so." She then gestured to the food that was there, and it was then Rook recognised the treats and what they were made from.

"Is…is this…Amber Ogia?" Rook said in genuine surprise. "But how is this…"

"Well I found some of the seeds from some of your supplies in the crates that capsule brought from your home." Perfuma explained. "I know how much you miss home too so, I decided to bring home to you by growing this Amber Ogia with my powers and making this."

"Hey I helped too." Castaspella said.

"I have never seen you cook?" Angella questioned.

"Oh and it's been a while since I've seen you make a home cook meal?" Casta replied.

Rook too was also quite touched by what the flower princess had done for him, as well as, his partner. "Perfuma…I…thank you."

"Hey it's what the friends are for." Perfuma said with a little blush.

"Oh and Ben." Frosta said getting his attention, "while you guys were gone, this thing crashed outside of Bright Moon." She then handed Ben a small pod which he recognised.

Just then it opened by his touch and what he saw inside nearly had him in tears. For he pulled out a small picture frame and inside it was a photo of him and Gwen when they were ten with Grandpa Max outside the Rustbucket.

Adora, Glimmer, Bow and everyone else could see this particular present brought back some fond memories. On the picture was a bow and a small message. It read;

Dear Ben, I know we're not there to celebrate you turning eighteen. But wherever you are we're always with you.

Love, Mom, Dad, Grandpa Max, Gwen, Kevin and Kai.

Ben smiled and sighed as he showed some tears. "Best summer of my life." He breathed happily.

Rook noticed there was something else inside the pod as well, he pulled out a small holodisk. When he touched it, the image revealed a hologram of Rooks whole family, and there was a message that said.

Come home soon for the harvest son, no matter where you are, our family is with you. Always.

Rook smiled warmly and just then, Adora, Bow and Glimmer pulled Ben and Rook into a loving hug, and they were comforted by the fact that while they're far from home their loved ones are still with them. Swift Wind wrapped his wings around them all and everyone else joined the hug.

"Okay guys enough of this mushy stuff." Mermista then said getting everyones attention. "Its time to PAR….T….YY!" She called and everyone cheered in agreement.

So throughout the night everyone partied into the night with party games like pin the tail on Swifty, with Spinnerella trying to pin a tail on a picture of Swift Wind, which Swift Wind himself wasn't sure how to feel about this. They also danced on the floor and even Queen Angella got in on the dancing, which surprised Glimmer greatly since it was a long time since she'd seen her mother in party mode. When there wasn't a war going on.

Sea Hawk even challenged Rook to an armwrestling match and Rook won instantly, but just to boost his own confidence he dared Ben to an armwrestling match as one of his aliens. Unfortunately for him, Ben chose Rath. While he was intimidated Sea Hawk tried for the arm wrestling match. He used all his strength to beat him to no avail.

"Okay Ben just beat him already." Netossa said.

"Okay." Rath smirked and threw Sea Hawks fist down to the ground much to Mermista's amusement.

Netossa was fierce when it came to the party games especially pin the tail on Swift Wind. But the most she was firece at was one Ben introduced everyone to. Twister. On the twister mat was Ben, Adora, Bow, Spinnerella and Netossa. They had their hands and feet on different spots and were close to being tangled up.

Glimmer span the wheel. "Okay Bow, Netossa right foot yellow." She said.

So Netossa tried to move her left foot over the yellow spot but just as she touched her foot down. Everyone else tumbled to the ground, while Netossa jumped up and down in triumph.

"AW YEAH NETOSSA FOR THE WIN BABY!" Netossa cheered.

On the floor everyone lay on the ground, thankfully for Ben he wasn't on the bottom of the pile this time. "Is she always this competitive?" Ben asked Spinnerella.

"More often than you think." Spiny replied.

Just then everyone got together for a group photo, Bow quickly set up his tracker pad on a tripod. Then he joined everyone. Ben, Rook and Adora were in the middle on the left were Glimmer, Frosta, Netossa and Spinnerella. On the right were Bow, Perfuma, Angella, Sea Hawk, Castaspella and Swift Wind with his wings out.

The camera flashed and everyone beamed with a smile, and as Ben smiled he and Rook were comforted by the fact that while their family were in a galaxy far far away. They had the comfort of the family that surrounded them now.

Authors Notes: An...d scene! Thats the end of that chapter, now after doing research I found that Bens Birthday was somewhere in December, and I was planning to do this chapter then. But with my work placement coming to an end I had no time to do so. Plus I figured the one time Ben would feel the most homesick would be the day he turns eighteen. But I wanted Rook to have a part in this as well which is why I had Perfuma make that Amber Ogia party food, so Rook could have a taste of home.

Now onto the next chapter where things get a little too cold for comfort, and the return of a certain corruptive disk. I hope Ben and Rook packed their thermals.
