Wealth, Fame, and Power! W. D. Gaster, The King of The Pirates, had all those and the rest of what the world had to offer! Through many battles and trials, he had reached the pinnacle of the world's virtues and had nothing left but an illness that plagued him.
He brought himself in and was held at a worldwide public execution. Before he was executed, a man from the crowd asked:
"Where did you hide all your treasure?!"
To which the King of Pirates smiled and said:
"You want my treasure? You can have it! I left the most important treasure in the world on an island! Go and find it! 'For the next pirate that finds the UnderPiece, will be claimed the new King of The Pirates!"
Those were his final words before he was executed. He smiled to his death.
With those words, the world was flipped upside down as he created The Golden Pirate Era! People and already existing pirates from around the works started to sail the seas in search of the treasure that W. D. Gaster claimed to be-
The UnderPiece!
It had been Twenty Years since, and people have yet to find the treasure he was talking about. Except for one girl, who is now going to change the world by storm for the sake of her people.
This is the story of Muffet D. Baker and her way to becoming Queen of the Pirates!
"And that is his story...I don't expect y'all to sympathize or leave things be. Obviously, there is some point you have to prove to him that I just quite can't figure out." Cassidy said standing up again and dusting herself up.
Muffet pounded her first together.
"Of course! I can't be Queen of the Pirates if he stands in my way!"
Christie pounded her first together too.
"Yeah, I can't be Queen of The World if I'm fearful of another person."
Undyne walked up to Cassidy, and judging from the height difference, Cassidy was firmed greeted with Undyne's bruised and blue collar bone.
She looked up to meet her eye which was glaring down at her.
"Oh trust me, I have no beef with him, but I do have some with you. If the circumstances allow, I would beat you where you stand."
Cassidy just shrugged.
"I bet you would. You have armament so you'd be able to hurt me. But you'd first want to make sure you're in a state and position to pick a fight."
Cassidy props her sniper on her back and reholsters her guns. She seemed calm and also determined.
"I was just following orders."
Ronaldo spoke up.
"Wait so, he's just a good guy, but with a bad way of going about being good?"
Cassidy just gave him a side-eye, so did everyone else.
"Yeah, that's the long and short of it."
Ronaldo then prompted another question.
"And Hera, the secret weapon, is supposed to be the key to his defeat?"
This also attracted the attention of everyone in the room. Cassidy tapped her chin.
"Not necessarily, Lexi said that Hydra would have her as his last obstacle, whether that means his defeat or success is unclear. Who that baby was, Hydra never told me. I was born and raised on an island along the Grand Line, an island named Gettenior. A pretty mundane island, and then Hydra just sorta abducted me but promised me my dream."
Susie scoffed.
"And what may that be?"
Cassidy gave her a serious eye.
"Freedom."
Everyone got quiet.
Cobalt coughed into his hand to clear the tension.
"Look ladies...and gentleman," Cobalt said trying to reach everyone, Ronaldo raised his hand hourly, "As much I would love to get you guys right back onto the field, I can't. The most I can do is produce a portal to a neighboring island, and you all will have to find some way to get back to Constricta for your second, and last chance."
Everyone looked at each other and then started to get rearranged into their respective mini teams.
Muffet, Undyne, and Susie stood together.
Christie and Ronaldo stood together.
Cassidy stood alone.
Cobalt sighed.
"Here is the thing I shall offer you guys...I can only do one of three options since I'm entirely new to using my Devil Fruit for this kind of purpose."
Everyone stood there with their arms folded and listened to his request. All and all, they should be giving this man more credit, had it not been for him, they all would've been finished off by Hydra back in the fight earlier. Also, by extension Undyne.
Had she not spared him back in StarDrop, he wouldn't have turned a leaf to even consider helping multiple parties. There were at the mercy of this man who was showing patience in a crowd that has been nothing but intrusive.
They listened to him with respect.
"One, I can make one portal, a general portal to an island I know, but, all of you will have to leave. Meaning the journey back will be with you six together. Two, I make two portals, one for one random destination, while the other one is to get one of you to a specific place, which I think should be to let Cassidy get back to Hydra. Or three, I make three portals, this being the most unstable option, I make three portals, no matter who you enter with, where you are, and who you be with will be randomized, however, there is a weird sense of fate in a third way. It will place you on the island and with the person that'll help you the most."
Everyone listened up and was silent at the options presented.
Undyne raised a question, being the only person that had the right to ask any.
"Why do you seem to be enticing the third option so much?"
Cobalt laughed.
"Well, I am a gambler, aren't I?"
Undyne, couldn't help but smile at that remark. She nodded. Then she looked at Muffet.
"Captain?" She said waiting for her to answer.
Ronald put the same trust in Christie. Cassidy simply didn't care.
Susie looked at Cassidy.
"Hey, how will Hydra react if you get teleported someplace else, you were his top dog right?"
Cassidy laughed.
"He has this weird favoritism towards me, I don't care what you guys do, and I don't plan to be all 'buddy buddy' with anyone I leave with." She said with a spark of confidence that was immediately shot down with Muffet's team and Christie giving her a mean glare of their confidence.
Muffet and Christie looked at each other. They then walked towards each other and positioned their arms in an arm wrestling greet, where they get their arms into that kind of position but keep it there. Like how two bodybuilders greet each other, in a menacing flex.
"Wish you luck on the other side!" They said together and to each other. They both then looked at Cobalt.
"The third option please!"
Everyone else in the room either expressed a face of excitement or annoyance with that response.
Cobalt just smiled and nodded. As he snapped his fingers and made three portals. The portals were seemingly barely stable and it made the room violently vibrate so they knew this room was bound to collapse if they took too long.
Susie was the first to question.
"Wait if it takes us to random places with random people, why are there these doors?"
Everyone just now realized that and gave him a look like he was stupid.
"Hey, I like giving my customers options."
They looked at each other commercially and went through the portal nearest to them.
.
.
Muffet was awoken by a blinding light, she was in the middle of a desert. She could assume that this was the place the nearby island to Constricta that Cobalt was speaking of.
She took a deep breath and exhaled.
"Look out Hydra! I'm coming for you!"
Muffet's chants of hype were cut short by someone shoving her face into the sand from behind. And it turns out, her portal partner, was indeed...
"I, Christie Callegard, am not gonna let a pirate steal my thunder!"
.
.
Susie woke up, she looked around and saw that she was in an ancient jungle. Old trees and vines and giant stone slabs and mushrooms were apparent in the area.
However, she was happy to see that her fate was shared.
"Oi! Susie! Seems we got each other!" Undyne said hopping down from a branch above and landing next to her.
Susie first greeted Undyne with a hug, which Undyne didn't expect.
"I'm sorry dude, just, it hurts seeing you hurt like that. Don't ever let that happen to you again, okay?" Susie said trying to sound as distant as possible but failing.
Undyne grinned.
"Of course-"
Susie's Justice and Observation Haki flared and she turned around almost instantaneously and caught something that was shot their way. It was an eye patch. Undyne's eyepatch.
Undyne and Susie both looked to where that came from, and to their dismay.
"Seems us three got each other, seems we both got unlucky," Cassidy said blowing the smoke off of her sniper muzzle.
.
.
Ronaldo looked around the shore of what seemed to be Constricta. He was mad that not only was he back here but with no one.
He was next to some broken ships and purple sand. Navy men's uniforms littering the ground.
His attention was caught by the sound of dragging, and wood being banged into other pieces of wood. Like someone was doing construction.
Ronaldo turned around and saw an otherworldly sight.
He saw a Spider monster, with bandaging around its abdomen, carry with its teeth, chunks of other ships across the shore. He saw that it was dragging it to Ralsei's Ship, The Field of Hopes and Dreams.
To which he saw someone repairing it. It was a little girl with bandaging tape around her forehead. Her arms were seemingly made out of wood and she was repairing the ship.
Ronaldo called out to her.
"Hey! You're Hers aren't you? The secret weapon of Muffet D. Baker's crew?"
The girl turned to him and smiled. She gave an innocent giggle.
"Hey! Quick question?"
Ronaldo was flabbergasted that she responded to his question, with a question. But he wasn't planning on being rude.
"Uh, sure?"
Hera landed on top of Fuhu and looked at her hands then Ronaldo. She laughed with an innocent wide smile and said...
"Who am I?"
