Wealth, Fame, and Power! W. D. Gaster, The King of The Pirates, had all those and the rest of what the world had to offer! Through many battles and trials, he had reached the pinnacle of the world's virtues and had nothing left but an illness that plagued him.

He brought himself in and was held at a worldwide public execution. Before he was executed, a man from the crowd asked:

"Where did you hide all your treasure?!"

To which the King of Pirates smiled and said:

"You want my treasure? You can have it! I left the most important treasure in the world on an island! Go and find it! 'For the next pirate that finds the UnderPiece, will be claimed the new King of The Pirates!"

Those were his final words before he was executed. He smiled to his death.

With those words, the world was flipped upside down as he created The Golden Pirate Era! People and already existing pirates from around the works started to sail the seas in search of the treasure that W. D. Gaster claimed to be-

The UnderPiece!

It had been Twenty Years since, and people have yet to find the treasure he was talking about. Except for one girl, who is now going to change the world by storm for the sake of her people.

This is the story of Muffet D. Baker and her way to becoming Queen of the Pirates!

Christie was having fun digging Muffet's face into the ground with her hand. Muffet couldn't really fight back, she felt weak against her hand.

Which could only mean one thing.

Muffet found the strength to turn around and with the bare minimum force of her swinging her arms, pushed Christie off of her.

"Your arms, are they perhaps made out of Sea Prism stone?"

Christie dusted herself off before looking at her with a grin. She was condescendingly looking down at her because of their height difference.

"Maybe. Who knows?" She said teasingly and got into a stance.

Muffet was honestly annoyed.

"There's no way we are doing this now, neither I nor you are in fighting shape yet. We just finished getting sent flying by that Hydra guy. Maybe after we get back and kick his ass, then we can fight."

Muffet saying that seemed to have put Christie in a damper mood. She pouted.

"Fine, I guess! Didn't want to see your strength anyways..." She crossed her arms and looked the opposite way.

She knew Muffet was right. Both of them were still somewhat bruised, sore, and muscles shot in a lot of areas. But, both of them had the leadership quality that didn't allow them to show how much pain they were actually going through.

Currently, they were in the middle of the desert, no civilization in sight, just a spider and a spring.

It was an awkward set of minutes. Both of them were walking around in a circle trying to find which was the best place to start heading.

They had no clue what they were doing, but they also didn't want to admit it.

Muffet finally wanted to strike up a conversation.

"You, know, I figured that you and your friend would get spawned together. Y'all seem cut from the same cloth."

Christie was surprised she looked that deep into her life.

She scoffed proudly.

"Yeah, that's my best friend! He's probably off with your crew right now, getting along with them."

Muffet's ears perked.

"Y'all just friends?" Muffet said in genuine confusion.

Christie was also confused by her confusion.

"Yeah...what did you think we were?" She said with a knowing look. But she didn't want to jump to conclusions.

Muffet giggled.

"Oh it's nothing dearie~ I just assumed that y'all were in a relationship, that's all," Muffet said whistling into the air.

She had a plan.

Christie blushed. She crossed her arms and looked away from her into the sky.

"Pfft! As if, why would I date that bozo? We only have been best friends and working with each other for 15 years, 7 months, 3 weeks, 5 days, 54 minutes, and 12 seconds...but who's keeping track?" She said rambling on with herself.

Muffet smirked. She heard the sound of crawling from under the sand.

There was a tense silence between her and Christie.

"...Would we be cute together though...?" Christie said to her really fast and quietly. Like she had to really squeeze that sentence out of her.

Muffet tapped her chin.

"Why would you ask that if you just want to be best friends though?"

Christie's whole face was red, so she looked further away from her, back facing Muffet's back.

"What?! No! I just mean that, if, let's just say that, you know, he asked me out...would we be a good couple?"

Muffet laughed.

"Dearie~ I barely know your last name, what makes you think I would know whether you two would be good together, hypothetically of course."

Christie finally unblushed from Muffet's sudden sass and turned around. To see that she was conversing with some scorpions.

"Wait- you can speak to scorpions?" Christie said in both confusion and amazement.

Muffet giggled.

"Scorpions are arachnids too, of course, I can."

Muffet then proceeded to ask the scorpions if they knew any civilization around and that she and her associate were new to the island.

They spoke back to her saying that they did know and place. Then they disappeared back into the sand. Christie was still confused.

"So...what did they say?"

"That you look like a bum after 10 years of not shaving."

"Oh look, miss Queen of a dead race is barking back!"

"And I rather have a dead race than look like thrift store cyborg!"

"These attachments are stronger than you'll ever be!"

"At least I wasn't weak enough to have to resort to attachments in the first place!"

Christie got quiet. What started off as playful banter escalated into a full-fledged verbal battle.

Muffet still looked mad, that dead race line still had her heated.

"What?! Cat got your tongue? It's not like the cat had many options on what left to take!"

Christie just felt more uncomfortable. Her body consisted of mechanical arms and legs. Her head was half diamond.

Muffet shook her head.

"Hey, you know I got these attachments for saving someone right?!" Christie said.

"Congrats, you probably got what? A promotion out of it? Do you think I do the things that I do for praise? My crew has saved StarDrop Island from debt and oppression. We freed the people of Yetera and gave them a loving leader and back their homes. We converted a murderous Ancient Weapon to a more peaceful one so that the targetted people are safe. We even went there to The Emerald Peninsula to not only kill a murderous Golem terrorizing East Blue inhabitants for Centuries but also try and help Gaia from not trying to kill too. But do we ask for a 'thank you'? No, we don't! We get our names written in murder ink for the world to scoff at us for! You lost two arms and two legs, congrats on your upgrades and recovery. But you wanna know what I lost? My family, my entire clan, my six arms once, friends, and now possibly my whole crew! Don't give me shit for something I can't control..." Muffet said in a boil of rage.

Her eyes went from engulfed in hatred to utter remorse as Christie was already crying and knelt on the floor. Her tears dropped from her face, parallel to the ground, and onto the sand below.

It was humid, the sun wasn't making the living conditions any better. They still proceeded to heat up.

Christie just softly punched the sand. She was caught up in words. Each jab Muffet through had already cut her through. She then started to sob harder, making audible panting sounds and punching the ground harder. She didn't want to show her face to Muffet.

Muffet empathically frowned at her. She knew how Christie was feeling at the moment because of her. She had been through the same emotions. Back on the Emerald Peninsula after she lost the first round with Verde.

Christie was having an anxiety attack.

Muffet sighed.

Perhaps I went a little too far... She thought.

"I...I...am-" Christie tried to slur out before the ground below them started shaking and collapsing.

Christie tried to get up but the constantly shifting sand was hard to try and stay surfaced on. Below them revealed to be a giant cavern. Christie fell in the hole, unable to spring herself off because of the terrain of the land.

However, Muffet jumped in the hole and wrapped her six arms around her. She then swings her arms around so that her box was below Christie's on the fall down.

"What's happening?!" Christie said.

"We're getting help from a friend!" Muffet said with a serious face but a happy tone.

When they got to the floor, Muffet made sure that Christie landed on her body so the impact of the fall for her didn't hurt. Christie bounced off Muffet and onto the sandstone wall. She then sprang off that wall and gently onto the floor again.

Muffet just stood up. She made sure to lift her hair so that her onyx earrings and the spider-themed necklace were showing. Christie watched her do this as if, she was doing an old routine.

She still wanted to put a show, she at least wanted the last laugh.

Undyne got into the same stance.

"Sorry, little Miss Muffet! But I ain't planning on letting a 'pirate' leave unscathed."

Muffet sighed.

"Look, I have to be going, I promised my friend I'd-"

The cavern was made out of sandstone and lakes that kept blue crystals of varying shapes and sizes. The hole they made gave the crystal light and lit up the entire room.

For all they knew, this was a hidden paradise. It seemed like the ultimate vacation and spa joint. However, upon closer inspection, to their right was a massive tunnel system and so was there on the left. In front of them, was a shake bar stand. A person definitely worked here.

Christie, upon piecing that together, got on the defensive. However, no one was around.

However, the smell of rain was heavy in the room. Christie felt uneased. However, Muffet felt at home.

"Ugh, it smells like rain, like, heavy rain...isn't there a word for that kind of smell?"

Muffet smiled and walked over to the bar on the northern part of the cavern. Christie, not knowing what was going on, followed her for safety.

Muffet then knocked on the counter twice and then coughed into her hand while looking at Christie.

"Oh, dearie~ the name is called..."

Then suddenly. Coming from behind the counter was a woman, she seemed to be at a monstrous eight feet fall. Her hair was long and luscious, reaching all the way to her shoulder blades. It was white and so was her skin, pearly white. Her eyes were bulbous and light blue. Her arms and legs, like Christie, we're made out of grey metal and hydraulic compressors in the form of oxygen pumps and conductors. Her arms resembled that of accordions. Her hands were navy blue and monstrously bigger in proportion with sharp fingers.

Her forearms and forelegs held seemingly rainwater in them. She had two sets of navy blue horn-like mandibles, one set being on her temples curving upward. The other set growing from her cheeks downward.

Her most prominent feature was her fully mechanical scorpion tail that used the same technology as her arms. Her body seemingly ran on hydraulics. The length of the tail is made up of a mixture of muscle and metal, and then a navy blue stinger at the tip.

She wore nothing but a blouse and a plaid shirt. Her feet were made out of the metal that was consistent around her arms, legs, and tail.

This was by far one of the more intimidating beings she has seen.

Only one of the most though.

She has met worse.

Both that mysterious tall lady and Muffet looked at her.

"Petrichor." They both said before they looked at each other.

Muffet tried jumping on her for a hug but the lady already wrapped her tail around the rubber spider and brought her closer to herself to get a better look.

"Hey spider girl, long time no see, thought you'd visit me right away?"

"I tried to Petrichor! But I got sidetracked."

Christie, trying to piece things together. Realized now that the mysterious lady's name is actually Petrichor.

"How do you two know each other?"

Muffet and Petrichor looked at each other confused.

"Well, that's a long story. One you frankly don't want to sit and listen through." Petrichor said. She had a very young and sassy proud voice to her, slightly raspy.

Muffet giggled.

"You were supposed to be my first commander believe it or not! You still cook?" Muffet said squeezing out of her friend's grip.

Petrichor raised a brow and then leaned over the counter.

"What do you mean 'supposed to be' you already got a first mate? Who is it? And yes, I still cook, a girl gotta make a living in the desert somehow."

Muffet proudly put her six arms to her waist and puffed out her chest.

"Actually, it's Undyne Marie Undying, Morial's daughter. I also have a doctor, an archaeologist, and an Ancient Weapon as our Navigator/Musician!"

Petrichor raised both her brows.

"Holy shit dude! Nice! Seems you still came for little Ol' me after all!" Petrichor have a sinister laugh and then looked at Christie.

Then, her mood switched. She frowned.

So did Christie.

Petrichor walked around the counter to prove a tacit point to her. Her legs were now exposed to Christie. Both of them had the same style of mechanical limbs.

"Oi! Muffet!" Petrichor pointed to Christie, "Is she a part of your crew?"

Muffet looked at Christie and was instantly reminded of the berating she gave her back on the surface. She quickly glanced away and then looked down at the counter.

"Nah, she got teleported here with me."

Petrichor nodded to Muffet, and then looked back at Christie. She offers Christie her hand, the smell of rainwater oddly now soothing the spring lady.

Christie took her hand.

"Let me get you two a drink. Both of you, then tell me what has been happening so far cause there is obviously something I'm not aware of. And as a favor to Muffet, food and drinks are free." Petrichor said with a smile to Christie who stopped shaking.

She then smiled back.

"You're really nice."

Petrichor laughed.

Petrichor was filled with...

...

"Of course, we cyborgs have to stay together...and so us arachnids!" She said looking from Christie to Muffet.

Both of them locked eyes. They then looked away again.

Petrichor sighed.

She went behind the counter as Christie sat down on the stool two seats away from Muffet.

Petrichor sighed again and used her tail to push away the stool in-between them and push their stools close together.

Muffet and Christie both blushed from both frustration and embarrassment. Looking the other way.

Petrichor towered over both of them.

"Now tell me all you know."

.
.

Muffet had explained to her everything from her fight with Undyne to her current situation at the moment.

Christie had explained to her some of her story, the important parts.

According to Christie's story, she got her Spring Fruit after her enhancements. She used to have a regular body and dark purple hair. However, in her marine base, a mysterious monster that is now an Emporer, Quartz Sprocker, showed up and it was up to her, her best friend Ronaldo, and the Admiral Chronus to stop it.

It had some poison-based powers and she had to sacrifice her body to save her best friend from the attack. The poison completely corroded her but with the great healing abilities of Shyren, she was able to hold on until surgery, where she got herself a new half-face, arms, and legs. Her hair turned white from the stress her body and mind were under post-surgery.

Her Devil Fruit was provided by Grillby in the World Government's secret vault as a prize for being a hero despite the odds.

Her friend was also rewarded and she explained that her friend was lucky and got a Gencios Devil Fruit, the rarest kind. However, she didn't explain what it exactly did.

Muffet felt like complete shit for saying all that she said to Christie. Although she started it, most of what she said in return was uncalled for and untrue in some regard.

Her problems and sacrifices did matter too.

Petrichor nodded at both their stories and smiled a large smile.

"Amazing you two...Muffet if you don't mind my little self-indulgence...may I join your crew?"

Muffet had been waiting to hear that since she left in the barrel and drifted to sea. She wasn't lying, she was drifting in the sea to Petrichor to recruit her as the first mate.

"Yes you can dearie~ Our ship now has a cook!"

They shook hands.

Their history together had been one predating the adventures on the sea she has had. An old good friend.

"I'm only asking to join because I know who Hydra is, and honestly, with the connections he has and his power, you need as many people as you can. You can't fight him without causing a war, you know?"

Muffet humbly nodded.

She then looked at Christie.

"And you, I'm proud of you. It's not easy living the way you are, trust me, I know. But you two, y'all have to learn to forget your titles. That way, there is the way we can beat Hydra at his own game."

Muffet and Christie listened in.

"It's a little something called teamwork!"
