Wealth, Fame, and Power! W. D. Gaster, The King of The Pirates, had all those and the rest of what the world had to offer! Through many battles and trials, he had reached the pinnacle of the world's virtues and had nothing left but an illness that plagued him.
He brought himself in and was held at a worldwide public execution. Before he was executed, a man from the crowd asked:
"Where did you hide all your treasure?!"
To which the King of Pirates smiled and said:
"You want my treasure? You can have it! I left the most important treasure in the world on an island! Go and find it! 'For the next pirate that finds the UnderPiece, will be claimed the new King of The Pirates!"
Those were his final words before he was executed. He smiled to his death.
With those words, the world was flipped upside down as he created The Golden Pirate Era! People and already existing pirates from around the works started to sail the seas in search of the treasure that W. D. Gaster claimed to be-
The UnderPiece!
It had been Twenty Years since, and people have yet to find the treasure he was talking about. Except for one girl, who is now going to change the world by storm for the sake of her people.
This is the story of Muffet D. Baker and her way to becoming Queen of the Pirates!
While all the events that have occurred have taken place; through the forests, through the villages, upon the staircase of the mountain, leads to a location above the clouds.
Called Olympus.
It is a highly civilized nation with active and refined humans, dedicating their time to the advancement of their land.
Their leader is a man named Zewz. A man of great and mighty build, but old in age. He sits on his throne, thinking about ways to give the people what they want.
He was a people's man. A man that wore a toga that complimented his white beard that connected with his mustache and sideburns. His skin was rather orange in complexion, a weird tan. His eyes were also white.
He sits there in his throne room in the northern part of Olympus, closed off from the rest of his community. As today, was a stressful day.
Entering his throne room, which was made out of scarlet carpeting and drapes along with quartz pillars and foundation. Almost the entirety of Olympus was made out of chiseled rock, even marble, and quartz.
The man was a guy of a rather skinny build. Around the same height as the king and wore a toga as well. However, he had blue markings down his eyes in a dotted pattern that even trailed down his chest and legs. His eyes were purple and his hair brown. His skin complexion is white.
"Lord! The people are gathering at the gate yelling about the disturbances Hydra is causing down there! What should we do?" He said to the king.
Zewz pressed his fingers between the bridge of his nose and sighed.
"Why can't that man stop getting in the way of this Continent's future? It has been over a decade with this nonsense...When will these 'Soul Parlor Pirates' arrive?" Zewz said gesturing his hand to the other man in the room.
The man started to sweat.
"That's the part I wanted to let you know M'lord! Hydra has been thwarting them off."
Zewz clenched the armrest of his throne so hard the tips of them shattered.
"What." He said holding back anger.
The man kneeled in front of him.
"The people of this land don't know of the existence of Hydra. The more they don't know about the lower area the better. We can't have them know of what's below, and we can't have Hydra know what's up here. We can't keep fabricating truths to our own people to make them think everything here is safe!" The man said trying his best not to step out of line.
Zewz sighed.
"Cardin...You were merely a young man when we came onto this Continent. What did we try to do?"
Cardin then gulped.
"W-we tried to establish a continent where both Mink and human can live freely together."
Zewz nodded.
"And what happened?" Zewz said almost condescendingly as if he had to tell this story again to Cardin already numerous times.
"The Minks couldn't control their Sulong forms against us, and many of us were slaughtered...then the War broke out between human and Mink along the same time as the Battle of Mt. Ebott. We hid at night, and attacked during the day, we won but with the expense of many of our men gone...You were brought up to the position as our diplomat, with the same intention of trying to unite Mink and Human. So, as a fruit of war, we issued the Minks to go to their mines and mine our materials to make a second continent above...so that we can live on the same continent and not hurt each other..." Cardin repeated as if this was his millionth time saying it but said it in the same shocked and humbled tone.
Zewz got up.
He signed again, looking out the window of his tinted glass. To see the people rioting outside his castle.
Zewz took careful and soft steps towards the glass and very solemnly looked at his residence outside. Who was unhappy with his lack of personal action.
"By the time Hydra came with that Cat Girl, we had already established this continent. It's poetic really, among his ability, his rage also, doesn't seem to die. The truth of it all was, I..."
Cardin picked his head up from the floor as he heard the sound of Zewz crying. It was a single tear that hit the floor. The King proceeded to keep his chin up.
"...I wasn't the one who ordered that he'd be attacked. I don't know what his former crew said to him, but they were not a part of my battalion. And now he thinks that I want him dead, but in reality...I just want to talk it out...But, as things stand...that's never going to happen."
Zewz crossed his arms behind his back and paced towards Cardin who picked himself up.
"As my right hand, I want to ask you this question."
"Yes, Lord! Anything!"
"When there is no way to please both sides, and both are forced to only pick one next course of action, which do you help? The prey or the predator?"
Cardin was quiet. He didn't exactly know how to answer that.
Just then, his throne room door slammed open. They both looked back to see a man of greater build than Cardin. A low black haircut, scar down his right eye that keeps his right eye shut, brown skin complexion, brown eyes, and a nose ring. His toga had a few insignias on it.
"Sir. The people are awaiting your orders!"
Zewz shook his head.
"Aristotel. I'll be ready to give the masses their answer. Just, be ready with your soldiers, I have a new order I want to place."
Aristotel only saluted and walked away. He then looked back at Cardin.
"It seems I have been going about this too passively. The World Government already aren't pleased about what I've done, but maybe this is a step in the right direction."
Cardin snapped at him.
"What?! More segregation?!" Cardin said before clamping his hands over his mouth.
Zewz darted his eyes to him. An eye that made Cardin uncomfortably continue his silence.
He saw what his King was capable of in a time of battle. A true King.
"No segregation. So it seems that both Hydra and those pirates are at each other's throats. If I manage to tie down both the loose Warlord and the Pirates, I can finally open back up not only my trust with the World Government but the people of below."
Cardin felt more at ease with this answer, enough to speak again.
"Okay Lord, but no offense to how we run our society, but simple men in number won't be able to make a dent in both those pirates or Hydra."
Aristotel walked back through the door.
"He's right you know, we might have to send in our elite warriors...The Demies."
Zewz considered that thought for a second before doing a double-take at Aristotel.
"Aristotel?! How are you already done with your men?!"
Aristotel gave him an uneasy look.
"Uh sir, all my men apparently are down on the main floor."
"With what orders?!"
"Apparently they were ordered by you to go down there and set up a form of an embassy in the surrounding villages...Is that not what you told them?"
Zewz scrambled around his room.
"No I did not! Tell them to pull out of there right now! We dont want to anger the Minks!"
Aristotel started to scramble too.
"I wish I could sir, but our men left on short notice! They didn't have time to pick up any Transponder Snails. I was only notified from because of a note they left for me at the barracks!"
Zewz, Aristotel, and Cardin were in a confusing mess trying to comprehend how that even occurred. That was such a bizarre thing to have happened, because Zewz was telling the truth, he didn't send those men out, so how come they left with orders from him?
Cardin was the first to snap out of this mad confusion.
"We can worry about this later, look, I'll go down to get the troops out, I'm the most nimble one here. Lord, you have to control the crowd outside."
Without hesitation, Zewz just gave the man a quick nod. Aristotel just accompanied the King on his way through his door and into the outside of his palace.
Once both of them left. Cardin sighed to himself.
His body began to morph. He began taking shape of a bird, more specifically a Cardinal. A human-sized Cardinal. The clothes that he had on were still in proportion to his bird body.
He flew out one of the open windows on the top of the walls in the room and made his way over and under Olympus.
Zewz saw the mass amount of people that were angry with his current ruling and was immediately nauseated by the nervousness and stress he had at that immediate moment.
He then spoke.
"People of Olympus, don't worry about the noise of the residents downstairs, they don't mean to- "
"We heard beast groans and roars!" Said a man interrupting him.
Zewz was standing on a podium at the top of the stairs of his palace, the people were at the lower elevated point before the bottom of the stairs.
"You dont need to alarm yourselves with this! We are currently working now to see that we remain as safe here as possible!" Zewz tried to appease to the crowd.
A woman spoke up.
"Those dirty Minks are what are causing this noise aren't they?"
Zewz got a little peeved.
"They are not any lower than we are!" He said.
"They are savages! True beasts that should've left after we won the war!" one person said.
"We should go down there and kick them off the continent!" Another man said.
"That's why our troops are down there right? Maybe another war is on the horizon!"
Zewz snapped.
"THERE IS NO WAR! NOT EVER AGAIN...!"
The masses got quiet.
"Look...we are above this, all of us. I apologize for the noise downstairs, and don't worry, our troops are down there for a...resource collecting mission. Trust me, if we were to cause another war, they'd have to tarnish our name so heavily, which I know the leader of the Minks wouldn't do. If such a thing ever happens, then you all should be concerned. For the time being, we shall live regularly like always."
Just like that, the crowd slowly dissipated.
Zewz sighed heavily. Aristotel patted him on the back.
"You did the best you could. It seemed to work."
"Im more concerned about our troops and Cardin, that's our entire army down there, all of our troops. If something happened to them...well...then that is a war to be had."
However, somewhere, a man in the crowd walked away smiling, with a Transponder Snail in hand.
( Meanwhile...At The Base of Constricta)
"So boss! He finally caught wind of the disappearance in the army!" Said the voice coming out of the Transponder Snail.
Hydra looked at the Snail and laughed. He was shirtless on top of the tree. He didn't change after his fight with Muffet and Christie, he liked the wild look.
"I know, I heard his entire stupid speech thanks to you. Thank you for being my little eye in the sky. Your role in this mission is far above everyone else's Dolpo. The King thinks that he can move in secrecy, but he doesn't know that I was the one that invented the shadows in which he crawls in."
"You sure do boss! Now, what next? Are the others in position?"
Hydra smiled.
"They should be. I'll call you later Dolpo, time to initiate phase two." Said Hydra as he hung out and began to pick up another Transponder Snail.
"All members of the Pantheon...when night hits, began phase two. Rendezvous back at base when you're done and escaped without anyone following."
"Yessir!" Said a thousand of voices before he hung up.
In every village on the Mink side of Constricta were a group of human soldiers who were 'sent' to patrol there freely.
However, in those groups, one or two of the soldiers were actually spies of Hydra, and when night would hit, they would start killing random Minks or causing infrastructural damage at the same time all over the continent.
They were able to be spies because one of Hydra's main operatives, had the ability to change the appearance of himself and other people with direct contact.
That same operative was the one who changed his appearance to be Zewz and give the troops the fake order.
All was according to plan. If everything went as planned as he hoped, then he should successfully frame Zewz for the order and to start another war. This time, with him leading the war from the shadows.
He grinned happily as everything was coming to fruition. However, what caught his eye...
Was a certain Cardinal flying overhead.
Hydra picked up his Transponder Snail again.
"Agent Prometheus, change of plans, converge on me...let's say that if things go as smoothly...Dolpo might have to quit his day job." He said with a sinister smile.
He'll do anything to stop Zewz from plaguing this continent, all for his long-lost love.
However, what kept boggling his brain, was how Muffet, and the World Government were going to interfere with his plans. They were an interesting bunch, however, he felt no particular danger in power on the continent besides his agents. So he could tell they weren't on the continent.
That being said there were three energies he couldn't identify that creeped him out. An artificial, demonic, and rapidly increasing and decreasing power.
Like an anomaly was present somewhere on this landmass.
Regardless, Hydra got into his Hydra hybrid form and kept an eye on the Cardinal in the sky.
Ready to jump.
The tides of fate are beginning to build up! The Pirate, World Government, Mink, and Human War!
If all comes according to plan, this war for the dominant race and ruler of the land will begin...
In 2 weeks!
