This story follows on from another story called 'The Accident' by an author called lahmrh which really sets the scene. I just decided to continue it with a happier ending. [I'm a sucker for the happy ending.]

"So, back on the Enterprise when I was being an idiot, there were some things that I forgot to say..." When Jim finds out that a commodore has assigned Spock to Sanitation Detail on Memory Prime, he goes down into the bowels of the giant station to try to make things right. A fighting and making up (the very gen, no slash kind :) ) friendship fic, featuring a lot of Spock sass.

So much fallout from the encounter with V'ger. Not all of it bad. Not all of it good, either. This gets messy. Please trust me and my muse and take the ride. I think you'll enjoy it.
