Based off the un-produced 1977 film, Kirk and the crew of the Enterprise must compete with the Klingons to find the supposed home world of the mythical Titans, a technologically advanced race thought to be extinct. Kirk, Spock and McCoy will face their greatest threat when the Klingon Commander K'Rong involves himself in this deadly competition.

It is often said that Spock is incapable of emotion, that he has no desire to even have any. It is also often said that love is something foreign to him, something he cannot understand. Spock was nearly forced by the Platonians to be an instrument of harm to his captain. Soon after, Spock thought the captain was dead, trapped between dimensions as the Tholians closed in on the Enterprise, because of Spock's error. These events aren't as easy to get over as Spock pretends, but he should have known he couldn't hide from his captain.

Requiem for Methuselah is one of my favorite ST:TOS episodes. I saw a photoset on tumblr recently where there was a photoset implying that what McCoy was saying was about Kirk/Spock. Even though I ship it as well, I can't help but think it's all about Spock/McCoy. I love this ship. This ficlet was inspired by that photoset.

Okay so this was supposed to be mostly just an excuse to let JTK and Doctor C get it on. But then the muse decided to insert some actual plot and angst into the witty banter and sexy time. She does that. I'm just her scribe and I key in what she tells me LOL. This is a little different Chapel than I normally go with. Enjoy.

Sometimes what happened in the past obscures a clear view of the present. Sometimes anger gets in the way of progress. Sometimes you have to shut up to really communicate. This is a flash sequence, and despite the title, this is not about bondage fun, nor in any way 50 Shades of Green, so ummm sorry if you were looking for that LOL.
