Chapter 3

After seeing her Lt. in the shower room, Arizona couldn't help but shake her head and laugh at the way she had acted around her. She knew she had quite a bit of effect on women, but not like that. She collected her stuff and headed back to her dorm.

"How did your shower go?" Teddy, her new bunkmate asks her, as she enters the room.

"Great!" Arizona replies with a dimpled smile. She put her stuff away and sat down on her bed. "So, what's Lt. Torres's story?"

"Huh?" Teddy asks, baffled by her friend's question. She turns and looks at her new friend.

"Lt. Torres. What's her story?" Arizona asks again.

"I guess her parents sent her here for recovery. Why?"

"What kind of recovery?" Arizona questioned some more. Ever since she had laid eyes on the beautiful Latina, she felt like there was a connection. she really wanted to get to know her.

"Why?" Teddy smirks, "you going to tell me you're gay too and that you like her?"

Arizona doesn't say anything else.

"Wait, you're gay?" Teddy asks, surprised.

"Maybe," Arizona smiles.

"You so are," Teddys laughs, "and you so have the hots for our Lt."

"Okay, maybe I do, so what. So, again, what's her story?"

"Okay, from what I overheard, she was brought here because she came out to her parents that she was in fact gay and I guess they wouldn't accept her for the way she was or is,"

"Harsh!" Arizona scoffs, "who the hell cares if a child is gay. If my kid came out as gay, I wouldn't send them to a freaking Military boarding school,"

"Is that why you're here?"

"No. It's not," Arizona replied, "I'm here for a whole different reason. My parents don't care that I'm gay. When I came out, it was to my brother. Then it was my dad. When I told him, he told me that no matter what, I would still be that person he raised me to be and that I should always be myself, nothing more,"

"So, then why are you here?"

"I've done some things that I'm not proud of," she answers.

"Like what?"

"Stuff," Arizona answers again. She really didn't want to talk about what had happened that landed her there. It was a sore subject and all she wanted to do was forget that it ever happened.

"Got to give me more than that, Robbins,"

"I ain't got to give you shit," Arizona snapped at her. Teddy was taken back by her new friend's new attitude, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to snap at you,"

"Nah, it's okay. I get it," Teddy responds, walking over to turn the lights off to their room, then climbed onto her bed.

"I was arrested," Arizona starts.

"Whoa! For what?"

"Driving under the influence. My girlfriend and I at that time, went to a party for one of her friends. Everyone there was drinking, so to be cool, I decided to have a few myself. When she and I were about to leave, she tried to grab my keys from me and tried telling me that she was going to drive since she was sober, and I had too much to drink. But as stupid as I was, I refused to give her the keys. I assured her that I was fine to drive, but she kept insisting. but I kept refusing. Well, we ended up getting to an accident that night. She survived but she ended up getting hurt. I only had a few cuts on my arms and head and bruised ribs,"

"Holy shit!" Teddy exclaims.

"Yeah. My dad worked for the Baltimore Police Department and was friends with the judge. He was able to get work out a little deal with him. So, they got together and they agreed to send me here,"

"So, you're here instead of getting jail time? Why not just send you to a treatment Center?"

"He figured that it would help me more than what jail or any other rehab center would. I even asked my dad the same thing, but he said that those places don't work. People who go, immediately check out. He wanted me to be in a place where I couldn't do that. So, I'm stuck here until I'm at least 21. which is less than four years from now,"

"Damn! You got off easy, Robbins," Teddy says, "Sounds to me like you had been given a second chance to straighten up, so if I were you, I wouldn't blow it,"

"Trust me. I won't," she says, letting out a deep sigh, "Good night, Teddy,"

"Good night, Robbins,"

The next morning, Arizona and Teddy got dressed and made their way to the little cafeteria for breakfast. When they arrived, Lt. Torres was sitting at one of the tables with some redhead, talking amongst themselves.

"Good morning, Lt.," Arizona greets the Latina, flashing her a dimpled smile.

"Good morning, Magot," Torres replies, clearing her throat.

"What do you have on the schedule for us today?" Callie looks to the redhead, then back at Arizona.

"P.T at 10:30, then obstacle course at noon,"

"Great! Can't wait," Arizona says happily, "come on, Teddy, let's go get some chow,"

Callie watched as the two blondes walked off and headed over to get in line. She smiled silently as she watched Arizona swayed her hips as she walked. Nice ass!

"Callie, are you listening?" Addison asks, waving her hand in front of her face. She was so focused on Arizona's ass that she didn't hear Addison talking to her until she felt a shake of her shoulders.

"I'm sorry, what?" Callie asks, coming back to reality.

"I said that they closed the obstacle course for today,"

"Oh, well she doesn't have to know that does she?" she laughs. A moment later, from across the cafeteria, she heard shouting. She looked over and saw Arizona and Cristina Yang in a heated altercation.

"Hey, what the fuck. Watch where you're going," Callie hears Arizona shout from the other side of the room.

"Sorry," the Korean woman responds, waving her hand, before walking away.

"Hey, bitch, how about a real fucking sorry," Arizona shouts again.

"Excuse me?" The Korean asks, walking back to stand in front of her again.

"I said, how about a real sorry," Arizona growls.

"And what if I don't, Ms. Look at me, I'm so perky," the Korean woman spits back, shoving her.

"Oh, you really want to find out. Because I grew up with the name, Arizona. I know how to play dirty on the playground," Arizona spits back. The Korean woman just shrugs and laughs at her. Just as Arizona went to raise her fist to hit the woman, Teddy pulls her back, causing her to swing at the air.

"Arizona, don't, you're going to get us into some trouble. By that time, Callie was out of her seat and joining the three women in line.

"Too late," Callie says to both of them, "You and you, come with me, now," Arizona just rolled her eyes and follows her Lt. out of the cafeteria.

After walking for a few minutes, all four women stopped in a secluded area of the school. Arizona looked around, then at Callie with a furrowed brow, "why are we out here?"

"Laps! All three of you," Arizona's mouth nearly drops to the ground, "What? You can't be serious?"

"I am serious! You got a problem with that, Magot?" Callie asks.

"Why the hell are we in the ones in trouble? She fucking started it," Arizona growls, pointing at Cristina.

"Yes, she may have been the one who started it, but you…" Callie draws, stepping close to Arizona, "you decided to try and throw a punch. So, and since your little friend here was with you, you're all now in trouble. Now, 20 laps,"

"This is fucking…"

"Shut up, Robbins," Teddy snaps, cutting her off.

"Go! Now!" Callie orders, giving her an evil glare. Arizona just scoffs, then takes off running at a slow pace.

"I want those calves to burn, like they never have before," Callie shouts after them.

As they steadily paced themselves, Teddy looks to Arizona and shakes her head.

"I told you not to mouth of to the Lieutenants," Teddy says to her.

"I'm sorry,"

"Hey don't apologize to me, apologize to yourself because you're legs are going to feel like rubber when they are done. Torres doesn't play when it comes to running,"

"And you know this from experience?"

"Yup. My first day here. I mouthed off and not only did I have to run, but I also had to do push-ups,"

"Eh, I could do those in my sleep," Arizona chuckles. Teddy just rolls her eyes at her new friend. Arizona was cocky and she was letting everyone know that by the way she was acting.

"If you say so," Teddy says, "when you have to do both running, then push-ups afterward, don't say I didn't warn you,"

It took all three women almost an hour and a half to run 20 laps around the yard. By the time were done, Teddy was right. Their legs felt like they were about to fall off. After crossing the imaginary line to finish her laps, Arizona lifted her arms and placed them behind her head to try and catch her breath. She couldn't believe how out of shape she was. Especially since her dad would wake her up early in the mornings to go running with him.

"You all done getting cocky with me, Magot?" Callie asks her.

"For now," Arizona replied, still trying to catch her breath. Callie lifted her brow in question at the blonde.

"I mean, Yes Ma'am," she corrects herself.

"Next time, I won't go so easy on you. Now let's go," Arizona looked over at Cristina and gave her a dirty look as they followed their Lt. back to cafeteria.

*So, Arizona told Teddy why she was arrested and sent to Military (Boarding) school. I know people actually get jail time for DUIs, but it's a fanfic so I made something up lol. Hope you enjoy the chapter. *
