A/N: I have a very random question for this audience. There is a story I loveeeed and I can't find it. I didn't favorite it, which I am mad at myself for. If this sounds familiar to you, can you PM me the name?

-Mark is in love with Callie. He is dating Lexie, but he confesses his love to Callie and it does not go well.

-Lexie is pregnant with Mark's kid when this happens. He leaves her while she is pregnant and moves away.

-Tim and Lexie get together and Tim raises Mark and Lexie's kid as his own. Tim is in the service and gets deployed.

-Callie and Arizona have a few kids themselves. They are both also surgeons.

Anyone know what story this is. I LOVED it. But I can't find it again

I finally figured out how I want them to start repairing things and I am super happy with the plan.

Most importantly, I want to send my love and prayers to anyone in Ukraine or anyone with loved ones there right now. I am thinking of you!

Chapter 9

"Torres!" Mark yelled as he walked towards Callie in the apartment building they share.

"Mama!" Sofia ran towards her mother when she saw her at the door. Callie glanced over at Mark confused that he and Sofia were already home. He had mentioned wanting to take their daughter out to dinner after bumping her head. He wanted to "see she was okay for himself".

"Sof wanted her doll. Refused to get out of her car seat at the restaurant without it." Mark rolled his eyes. He really was no match for his daughter.

"Go get it, Sof." Callie held the door open for her daughter. She smiled as the little brunette ran past her. "You know, Mark you ARE the parent. You can say no." Callie mocked him as they walked into the apartment.

"Yeah okay…Tell that to your daughter. She is as stubborn as you are." Mark sat down and waited for Sofia to return.

"I'm the stubborn one…okay." Callie laughed.

"Speaking of…I ran into Blondie before we left the hospital. Africa changed her. She's mean!" Mark thought back to the conversation they had at the elevator and was really surprised by Arizona. Sure, they butted heads in the past, but this was different.

"Wait. What? What did she say?" Callie turned around and gave Mark her full attention.

"Told me that we shouldn't pretend to be friends, or I might get her pregnant." Callie just laughed at the ridiculousness of the idea that Arizona said that to him. When he didn't crack, she looked at him in horror. "Wait, she actually said that?"

"Yup." Mark shook his head. "She doesn't like me. But Sofia seems to love her."

"Yeah, she helped her with her head. You know how Sofia is with people who know princess stuff." Callie tried to downplay the interaction.

"Mama. Punzle!" Callie watched as Sofia ran back into the room. But she wasn't holding her doll. She was holding what looked like a picture frame. Sofia ran up to Callie and handed her what she had. Sure enough, it was a photo of her and Arizona. It was Callie's favorite. One she couldn't part with. The two were sitting at a party. Her hand was on Arizona's arm. She is laughing telling the blonde about a patient who injured themselves on a sex swing. The thing Callie loved about the photo was that Arizona was staring at Callie with such love in her eyes. They are almost sparking. She knew where it had come from, but it still surprised her that Sofia was in the closet of her bedroom.

"You and Punzle, Mama!" Sofia clapped. "Punzle help my boo boo!" Sofia was in a full blow tizzy over seeing her mother in the photo along side Arizona.

"See…She's obsessed. Must get it from her mother." Mark mumbled the last part under his breath. Callie looked over at her best friend and made it clear that if he didn't stop, she would make him.

"Yeah Sof. That is actually Dr. Robbins. She fixed your head today. She is an old friend of Mommy's." Callie took the photo out of her hand and looked at it, like really looked at it for the first time in a long time. She couldn't help the lump that formed in her throat. She missed her. Even though she was mad at her, she missed her so much it hurt. She thought that she had moved past this, but it was still there. The want and the need burning in her heart like Africa never happened.

Noticing Callie was struggling, Mark stepped in. "Go get your doll Sof. We can get some ice cream at the restaurant." They both laughed as their daughter's eyes got as big as saucers and she sprinted towards her bedroom. Before Mark could even acknowledge what happened, Sofia was back with her doll. "Ready!" She smiled up at her father.

"We will see you tomorrow, Torres. Say goodbye to Mommy, Sof." Callie said goodbye and goodnight to her daughter and decided that she needed a drink. She pulled out her phone and sent a quick text to Meredith and Cristina. They immediately responded that they were already at Joe's. She quickly changed her clothes, grabbed her keys, and headed out.

Heading back into her brother's room Arizona is surprised to see Richard Webber leaving the room.

"Dr. Webber. Hi. Everything okay?" Arizona asks. Her authority issues have yet to go away.

"Yes. Just talking to your brother. Your parents left for their hotel about 10 minutes ago." Dr. Webber patted Arizona on the shoulder and headed off towards the elevator.

Arizona opened the door and walked into her brother's room. She immediately noticed excitement in his eyes. "What was that about, Timmy?" Arizona sat down in the chair next to his bed. The VIP chairs were nothing like the regular rooms. She was pretty sure they were memory foam.

"Nothing. Dr. Webber just wanted to talk to me about a few things." Tim tried to act cool.

"Yeah…. you may have been gone 5 years, but I still know you. What has you so excited?" She picked at his dinner tray. She hadn't realized how late it was. She was going through case files with Alex.

"Well, I was just offered a job. Who knew living underground for 5 years I would still be employable?" Tim joked.

"Wait, Dr. Webber offered you a job? How? Do you even have a license? We have a death certificate for you." Arizona was trying to piece it all together in her head.

"Dr. Webber spoke to some people and I just have to take a written and skills test as soon as I am back up and running. The Army now has record of everything we did over there. They were willing to turn over the medical documents of the things we logged while underground. I have to rehab and then I will take the exams. Dr. Webber said as long as I pass, I will be a trauma attending!" Tim was so excited. He thought his medical career was over. This was such an exciting opportunity and he had one person to thank for it.

"That is amazing. Hey, we will be co-workers! The Robbins are going to run this place." She joked, secretly elated she would have her brother here with here.

"You know why he offered me the job don't you?" Tim was slipping into big brother mode. His sister was going to pull her head out of her ass and win Callie back. It was non-negotiable.

"Let me guess, something about you being charming and amazing?" Arizona knew how her brother could get. He was a surgeon and he had quite the ego.

"No. Callie got me the job. Pulled Hopkins case files, told him that it would probably get you to consider his offer. Webber told me he initially said no because of how long I had been out of it. Callie vouched for me after reading my case files and talking to me when she stayed with me." Tim let his sister sit with that for a while. He knew when to push and when not to. Even after 5 years, he knew her well.

After a bit of silence Arizona finally spoke up.

"How are you expecting me to respond to that, Tim? I already told you she was amazing. This shouldn't be news to you." Arizona didn't have to be told twice that she was missing out with Callie. She knew.

"What are you going to do?" He asked, softening his tone.

"There is nothing I can do, Tim. I hurt her. She has a child now. I ruined it. I ruined the best thing that ever happened to me because I am the queen of bailing. I bought a ring. I was going to ask her to marry me. I was going to ask her to marry me when we were in Africa and then after 3 years we would come back and start our life. But then I just pushed her away. It sounds like a cop out, but I did it for her. She didn't want to go to Africa, Tim. I just. I ruined it. Can we just not, okay? I just got you back. Can we enjoy that?" Arizona pleaded.

"Yeah, sis. Of course." Tim felt bad for his sister. He had never seen her like this over a woman. But she was right, he was back after 5 years and they needed to catch up.

"So. Tell me about the last 5 years. Don't leave anything out." Tim rolled over and looked at his sister. He was sure that his smile matched hers, dimples, and all.

After her 4th shot of tequila Callie decided she should switch to water.

"Oh, come on, Torres! You're no fun!" Cristina whined as she clutched a bottle of tequila all for herself.

"I have a 2-year-old." Callie replied.

"She is with Mark tonight. He and Derek are with the girls and Zola, for dinner drink up!" Meredith thrust another shot in Callie's face.

"Plus, roller girl is back… you know you have a reason to." Cristina chimed in.

"Cristina!" Meredith tried to step in and correct her overly blunt friend.

"No no, she's right. She comes rushing in with her perfect blonde hair, tanned skin, blue eyes, amazing ass…..ugh I need sex. I need sex to take my mind off of wanting to have sex with Arizona. Angry, hot, make up sex with Arizona." Callie shot the offered drink back.

"Why not just have angry sex with her?" Cristina asked like it was the simplest thing in the world.

"Um because she left me at- "Callie went to continue but was cut off.

"Yea, at an airport. We know, Cal. Was it terrible? Yea. But that was over 3 years ago. You clearly still love her. If you want it to work, you can make it work. Now shut up and drink!" Cristina tipped the tequila bottle back.

Meredith and Callie sat there and stared at the Asian woman. Cristina never really dolled out advice, especially relationship advice. Everyone knew she was struggling with the fact Teddy and Owen were together now. Cristina and Owen had finalized their divorce about 6 months ago. So, she mentioned relationships people took it in and thought about it.

"Well, she is the new head of peds. Not like you won't see her!" Alex joined their conversation. He loved Callie but Arizona was his mentor and like a sister to him.

"Thank you, Alex." Callie took another shot. She was starting to feel the alcohol warm her body.

"What? We all know you guys are going to get back together. We see the way you look at each other." Alex was drunk and he didn't care what he said.

"Shut up, Alex." Meredith and Cristina said at the same time.

"Well alright, I am out of here. I have an early shift tomorrow and you guys are not going to stop talking about Arizona. So that is my signal to leave." Callie threw some money on the table and headed for the door.

"I give it two months." Alex said.

"No way, Torres can hold a grudge. I give it 4." Meredith chimed in.

"Ha! You guys didn't live with those two. I give it three weeks." Cristina took a swig of the tequila. "I want a nice bottle of tequila when I win."

"Deal" they all shook on it and continued their night at Joe's.

Waking up to a light knocking on the door Arizona stretched her tired muscles and sat up. She thought she must be dreaming though because the sight in front of her had only been in her dreams until 3 years ago. Calliope, looking at her with love and smiling.

"Why are you sleeping in a hospital chair. You know how they hurt your back." The brunette laughed as she flipped through Tim's chart.

"Long lost brother trumps back pain. Also, these are pretty good. The VIP people get the nice stuff obviously." Arizona joked. Standing up to stretch the rest of her body. "Plus, I have basically been sleeping on a frat house futon for the last 3 years. This is heaven." Arizona noticed Callie visibly tense at the mention of her being in Africa. "Sorry." She whispered.

"No. Don't apologize. You are going to be working here now, I am going to have to get used to hearing about it." She signed off on her notes and set the folder down. "He looks good. We should have the all clear for surgery tomorrow. Did you do the pre op labs and tests?" Callie asked. She was worried about Arizona doing this surgery.

"Yeah. I got the green light yesterday."

"And you did the consult with your surgeon…?" Callie raised her eyebrow letting the blonde know she shouldn't even try to lie.

"No. But I am a surgeon and I know the drill. So that is not necessary." Arizona replied. Her body language making it clear not to push the issue.

"You know he is going to do your pre op and your post op right? He is also going to be operating on you." Callie challenged.

"Yeah. But doesn't mean I have to talk to him more than necessary." Arizona sat back down. What started as a pleasant interaction was about to turn into a fight, she could sense it.

"Whatever you say, Arizona." Callie checked Tim's antibiotic bag one more time and turned to leave.

"Thank you for doing this for him." Arizona whispered.

"Of course. I know how much he means to you." Callie smiled at her and walked out.

"You guys are ridiculous." Tim whispered opening one eye.

"Shut up." Arizona huffed.

"What is your issue with your surgeon. Why wouldn't you do a consult with him but trust him to cut into our leg?" Tim sat up and looked over at his sister. If she didn't trust her surgeon, she wasn't doing the surgery.

"My surgeon is more than capable. His personality is the issue." Arizona picked up the remote and started flicking through the TV channels.

"What is your deal with him? You don't normally dislike people, especially competent surgeons."

"My surgeon is the father of Callie's child." Arizona turned her head and met her brother's eyes. Tim saw nothing but anger and pain radiating back from the blue eyes that looked at his.

"Oh shit." Tim whispered.

"Yeah. He is also her best friend. He was ALWAYS around when we were together. She always told me not to worry about him. But the second I leave she ends up pregnant with his kid."

"Well…. you left." Tim pointed out.

"I KNOW. I KNOW okay? I left. I am the ass hole. I am the bad guy. Don't have to remind me. I know. I hear it from everyone. I thought it every day when I was there. Okay. But does no one think it is a bit of a problem that she sleeps with the ONE person who I ever felt threatened by like a month after I leave?" Arizona was up and pacing.

"Does it suck? Yeah. It does. But you can't police who she is with. That isn't fair. She was upset." Tim knew he was towing a fine line here. But he needed to make his sister see past the anger.

"So what? If I get upset I go sleep around?"

"Historically…. yes." Tim replied.

Arizona knew he was right. She knew Callie didn't owe her an explanation.

"You know why you are so upset, so why not just say it?" Tim pressed.

"Why am I so upset, oh wise one?" Arizona looked at her brother expectantly.

"Because you are hurt. You are hurt and you see him with the life you were supposed to have. You wake up and think about how it should be okay you were gone because you were helping people. It should be okay you were away because you were making a difference. But the people you left behind don't see it that way, Arizona. They see it as you are making a choice to walk away….to stay away…"

Arizona looked at her brother. He was taking his situation and showing her how the person who was hurt reacts. She thought back to the rage she felt when she found out Tim chose to stay away for 5 years. But he was helping people. Supporting something he was passionate about. Arizona sat down in the chair and felt another wave of guilt wash over her.

"Listen. It sucks it was him, okay? But if it wasn't him it was going to be someone. Now look at her. She is a Mom. According to you, she is living out her dream. Maybe you should be happy for her?" Tim reached out and grabbed his sister's hand in an attempt to show her he was on her side.

"When did you get so wise?" Arizona looked over at her brother through tears.

"Had a lot of time on my hands." He winked at her.

"Now come on. Go get me something good for breakfast. We won't be able to eat later today and I still have 5 years to make up for."

"What do you want?" Arizona got up and grabbed her purse.

"Oh, how about – "Arizona was cut off by Tim reading her mind "Donuts!" She smiled at her brother and walked out the door in search of the best donuts. Smiling, she knew her brother was right. She had to lose the anger, lose the animosity. She was going to be working with Mark and Callie. She also knew she wanted to be part of Sofia's life. To do that, she needed to be kind to her parents. As she walked out of the hospital she smiled at the rare sunny Seattle day. She had her brother back and she was damn grateful for that.
