So here's chapter 2. I had a review asking about when Arizona was in the hospital Teddy met a nurse named April, when she went looking for Callie. Yes those are two different people. I'm not sure why I used the same name, I wrote that a long time ago.
Chapter 2
"bye sissy, I love you" Arizona said as they pull up outside the airport
"love you too" Teddy said getting out of the car
"let us know when you land please" Callie smiled from the passenger seat
"we will" Addie smiled waving as Teddy slammed the door.
"don't slam the door" Arizona yelled out the window, shaking her head
"sorry sissy love you" Teddy called back and blew a kiss
"she's such a pain in my ass" Arizona smiled, looking in the mirror and pulling out into traffic
"yeah but she's your sister and you love her" Callie smiled she loved how close they were, and the fact that Arizona had a sister
"yeah sadly" Arizona rolled her eyes behind her sunglasses, reaching for Callie's hand, "so what you wApril do today?"
"um, I was thinking maybe the park?"
"the one where we" Arizona was cut off by Callie leaning over kissing her cheek "yes the one where we first kissed"
"shall we grab some food first?"
"I'm not hungry yet" Callie said
"ok" Arizona smiled turning at the next corner

"you know, sometimes I have a hard time deciphering what is real or what was that dream" Arizona said as they were walking the trail that followed the lake
"I get what you mean, sometimes I have dreams, when I wake up I'm not sure if it was real or not" Callie leaned into Arizona who put her arm around her, Arizona didn't say anything "will you tell me more about it?"
"well" she said stopping at a bench that was in a clearing of trees overlooking the water she sat down "we were married"
"you told me that part, I want to know more details"
"more details? Shit Calliope I don't remember all that much, most the time I remember something because something triggers it" Arizona looked at her "I remember we were happily married, and Teddy was with a girl named Addison" Arizona paused, she never thought about it before, Callie let out a giggle "that's crazy"
"yeah it is, I just realized that now" Arizona shook her head "how about this, when something comes to me, I'll tell you" Arizona kissed her cheek
"sounds good" Callie smiled she felt Arizona's phone go off in her pocket "ugh, dammit, can't go one day without her calling"
"I'm assuming it's April?"
"yeah" Arizona rolled her eyes hitting the talk button "yeah" she didn't bother to keep the annoyance out of her voice
"Arizona"
"that'd be me, the person you called" Arizona shook her head
"right" April forced a laugh "I, ah, shit"
"you forgot what you wanted didn't you" Arizona did the crazy symbol with her hand to Callie who was laughing
"no, no, I have it right here" there was silence on the line, as Arizona heard some wrestling of papers "can you come to the office for a bit?"
"can it wait until tomorrow? I just dropped Teddy off at the airport and Callie and I are"
"oh, um" she paused "I guess it could but" Arizona took a deep breath biting her tongue "fine I'll be there in an hour" she didn't bother saying goodbye she just hung up
"gotta go in?" Callie asked sadly
"yeah I don't understand why whatever she needs me for can't wait until tomorrow"
"must be important"
"not that important" Arizona said standing up off the bench, turning around reaching for Callie's hand to help her up. "I'm the one who should be doing this for you" Callie laughed "you're more girly"
"yeah but I see my dad do it for my mom, and Teddy does it with Addie so" Arizona smiled, Callie couldn't help but love that smile, and the sound of Arizona's laugh, she couldn't get enough of that. "how about we both do it?"
"if that's what you want" Arizona smiled again, this time leaning in and kissing Callie. To Callie's surprise she didn't bother looking to see if anyone was around. As they headed back towards the car they heard someone say "Arizona Robbins" Arizona sighed, turning around she stopped and smiled "yes"
"it is you" the girl smiled "I'm a big fan"
"that's awesome" the girl was about 15 at Arizona's best guess
"I was at your last concert, was hoping to get an autograph, but when I got backstage you were gone" Arizona looked over at Callie who smiled "yeah sorry about that, something came up and I had to take off quickly, how about I do it for you now"
"I'd love that" the girl flung her backpack around pulling out a notebook and a pen handing it to Arizona, who scribbled her name and some other words down, she looked up at the girl "do you have your phone with you?"
"yes" the girl said confused
"why don't we take a picture together, I'm sure my friend here will take it for us" Arizona said looking at Callie who nodded, reaching for the phone. Callie snapped a couple shots and handed it back to the girl "thank you so much" she said all giddy, "no one is going to believe this"
"well they'll have to, you have proof" Arizona smiled
"bye" the girl said running off
"you made her day"
"it's all about the fans, without them, you have nothing"
"I love how you're so modest when it comes to that"
"is that the only thing you love?"
"no there's more" Callie laughed, they reached the car, drivers side first, Callie went to reach for the handle to open it, finding it locked "ha-ha" Arizona laughed pulling out her keys and unlocked it, Callie reached for it again this time opening it. Arizona kissed her cheek as she climbed in. She had the car started before Callie got in. "you wanna just drop me off at home?"
"ah no, you're going with me" Arizona smiled
"really but"
"no buts, I don't want you out of my sight today" Arizona pulled her glasses down and winked.
"ok" Callie smiled, "you know" she said as they drove "I don't think I've ever told you, I had a huge crush on you, that's why my dad and I were in Denver, going to see your concert"
"really" Arizona smiled,
"yup, I was, well still am completely obsessed with you"
"so, this is like a dream come true?"
"mmhmm" Callie nodded
"well then" Arizona felt herself start to get giddy, like a school girl "let me show you what my world consists of outside of us" she said as they pulled into a parking spot outside of the recording studio. Callie got out of the car before Arizona could turn the engine off, making it to her side in record time, opening the door "beat you to it" she stuck out her tongue
"oh, we're gonna have fun with this" Arizona laughed getting out of the car reaching for Callie's hand, Callie whispered "are you sure you want to do this here?"
"yup, I want the world to know that I'm happily taken"
"ok" Callie said letting Arizona lead her into the building "hello Susan" Arizona smiled at the receptionist
"hello Arizona" she smiled, she was a pretty blonde, smaller than Callie, Callie looked her up and down as they passed, they walked down a long hallway stopping outside a door as Arizona reached into her pocket for a set of keys "it's a good thing I carry these with me" she said opening the door "come on in, have a seat"
"this is your office?" Callie looked around
"mmhmm"
"nice" she said noticing a picture of them on the desk next to the phone "I like this" she picked it up
"me too, that's why it's there" Arizona smiled, sitting down in her chair behind the desk, picking up her phone dialing April's number "I'm here" was all she said then hung up. A few minutes later April showed up at the door "oh Callie's here, hello Callie"
"hello April" Callie smiled
"yeah, we were out, so"
"that's cool, it's good to see you again" April said handing the folder she was holding to Arizona, who opened it reading the first page "nope, not doing it" she handed it back to April
"you didn't even read the last part"
"I'm not going on tour April, I've told you guys this time and time again, now if you want me to do a show or two around here, that's fine, but that part of my life is over"
"Arizona"
"April" Arizona said standing up behind her desk "I told you guys this, and I'm standing firm on my decision"
"may I?" Callie asked reaching for the folder, opening it she read through it "Arizona it's in Denver, it would give you a chance to see Teddy"
"Teddy just left, I've seen enough of her"
"but Arizona" Callie pleaded
"it's no use" April said reaching for the folder "she's got her mind set on not touring"
"you remember what happened last time I was in Denver?" she paused "I'm sure you do" she said looking at Callie
"Arizona" Callie said "that was the dead of winter, its summer now, no snow" Arizona took a deep breath, trying to calm herself before she said something she would regret "I just can't do it, I'm sorry" she looked at April, who nodded leaving the room.
"wow" Callie said looking at Arizona
"what?"
"you were" Callie started to say but decided against it "nothing" she shook her head
"I just can't go back on tour" Arizona sighed sitting down, putting her head in her hands, as her head was starting to throb "and I am so not ready to go back to Denver"
"even to see your sister?"
"yes, even to see Teddy, right now I just" Arizona sighed again, looking up hearing someone clear their throat in the doorway, she rolled her eyes at the sight of Brad standing there, the throbbing getting worse "April tells me you have an issue with going out on tour"
"yeah um"
"need I remind you, you still have a contract with us for one more tour"
"but I thought" Arizona started to say but was cut off by Brad "Arizona, it's 4 shows, you'll be gone two weeks tops" Arizona took a deep breath looking at Callie who shrugged her shoulders "I'm sorry where are my manners, hello Callie how are you?"
"hello Mr. Andersen, I'm doing well, and yourself"
"I'd be better if your girlfriend wasn't a stubborn ass"
"yeah us Leo's tend to be like that" Callie smiled
"maybe you can talk some sense into her"
"I'll try but I don't know how well I'll do" she looked up at Arizona who almost growled
"I'll be waiting to hear from you" Brad nodded as he left the office
"I just"
"Arizona, two weeks, 4 shows, yes one happens to be in Denver, but I'll go with you" Callie started to say but was cut off "you will?"
"of course, I don't have anything else going on, yeah, I have that interview with your dad's boss, but I can tell them I'll start when we get back"
"you'd do that for me"
"yes" Callie said standing up, making her way around the desk, sitting on it, she reached for Arizona's hand "because I know you'd do it for me" at that moment, looking into Callie's eyes, Arizona could feel nothing but the love she had for this woman. In the short time they had been together, Callie had Arizona wrapped around her little finger, and vice versa with Callie. "well that's a horse of a different color"
"really, The Wizard of Oz" Callie laughed
"well, yeah, you know" Arizona giggled "guess I'll let Brad know" she leaned forward picking up her phone, closing her eyes for a moment to try and get the throbbing under control "hey it's me, can you come back please?" she hung up "he's on his way"
"should I go sit" Callie pointed to the chair
"nope stay right there" Arizona smiled, reaching up touching Callie's leg
"what did you need" Brad asked entering the room
"guess I should have called April too" Arizona laughed
"I talked her into it" Callie smiled proudly
"I knew you could do it" Brad winked "I'll let April know, and" he was cut off "let me know what" April asked showing up in the doorway
"our lovely Callie here talked Arizona into the tour"
"really, that's great" April said looking at Arizona with a smile
"I want to be clear the only reason I'm doing it is because she's coming with"
"that's fine with me" Brad smiled "I'll get it set up" he turned and left the office
"You know Denver isn't going to be bad, it is summer, like we mentioned, and you'll get to see your sister" April said still standing in the doorway
"I know but I'm just not comfortable being on a bus and"
"Arizona it'll be fine" Callie reached for her hand again "I'm not scared of being in a car"
"I know" she sighed "is that all you needed me for?"
"mmhmm" April nodded crossing her arms leaning against the door frame
"and that couldn't wait until tomorrow?"
"nope" April smiled "have a good rest of your day"
Callie saw Arizona bite her lip, she couldn't help but laugh "well while I'm here I do have to do one thing"
"what's that"
"hold on" Arizona said searching in her desk drawers, closing her eyes, trying to get the throbbing under control "ah here it is" she handed Callie a box that as wrapped "happy birthday"
"my birthday isn't until next month"
"right I knew that" Arizona smiled she really did know when her birthday was "well happy Monday"
"Arizona it's Wednesday" Callie laughed
"well, just open it" Callie tore the wrapping off to find a box, she opened it finding a heart shaped necklace, which said love "turn it over" Callie did seeing their initials engraved on the back. "the nice thing about dating a girl is I get to buy girly stuff for you"
"I love it" Callie leaned in kissing her. "and I love you"
"I love you too, what do you say we blow this popsicle stand and grab some lunch"
"you know it's almost 5, right?" Callie laughed
"fine dinner, I don't care what you call it I want food" Arizona laughed watching Callie hop off the desk she stood up too, making sure the door was locked, before heading towards the lobby "have a good weekend Susan" Callie couldn't help but laugh at the look on Susan's face as Arizona said those words, she turned to her and did the drinking hand symbol. Seeing Susan nod and laugh. "Arizona, I just told you it's Wednesday"
"yeah and?"
"you just told the receptionist to have a good weekend" Callie was trying hard not to laugh
"oh, well what if I don't see her again until after the weekend" Arizona smiled
"oh my god your hopeless"
"nah just forgetful, the accident did a number on my memory"
"but you remember shit just fine with me"
"well then maybe it's you who is doing a number on my memory" Arizona smiled, reaching the car, she unlocked it and opened the door for Callie "my turn" she whispered shutting it, making her way to the driver's side, sliding in behind the wheel. The truth was, Arizona was having some headaches as of late, which made her have loss of memory, like forgetting what day it was, she didn't tell anyone, didn't want to worry anyone. Standing outside the car for a moment, trying to get the throbbing under control before climbing in. She contemplated telling Callie, maybe someone should know, in case something did happen. Opening the door, she looked at her beautiful Latina, and everything else disappeared. "hey" Callie whispered once Arizona was in the car "is everything alright?" 'shit she can tell' "ah, yeah everything is" she felt Callie's hand on her head "you have a headache, don't you?"
"yeah" Arizona sighed looking at Callie, she couldn't hide it anymore, it was intensifying
"why don't you let me drive, we'll go home"
"home?" Arizona asked she wasn't sure which home she meant
"your home, you can take some meds"
"what about food" Arizona asked she was really hungry and didn't want to take the pain killers on an empty stomach, she did that once and ended up throwing up all night.
"once you're comfortable I'll go get something" Callie said looking into Arizona's eyes, she could tell she was in a lot of pain.
"ok" Arizona whispered opening the door and getting out. Making her way around the car and sliding in on the passenger side. Groaning, she hated when people made a fuss over her, which is why she didn't tell anyone about the headaches she'd been having. A side effect of the concussion she had gotten in the accident., or so she was told "are you sure you're ok?" giving in, Callie wasn't going to let it go. She looked over at Callie, they were stopped at a light, Callie looked at her "honestly no, I just want to eat and take some pills"
"ok" Callie whispered, "why don't we run through a drive thru, and go home?" Arizona just nodded leaning her head against the head rest, as Callie drove. They sat in the driveway and ate before going in. "I'll be up in a minute" Callie called after Arizona who was already halfway up the stairs. She went into the kitchen to throw the garbage away. "hi Barbara"
"oh, hello dear" Barbara looked up "Mc Donald's? Really?" she motioned to the table that was set with food
"yeah, Arizona wanted to eat now" Callie forced a smile
"Callie dear, is everything alright?" Callie sighed looking towards the doorway to make sure Arizona wasn't coming "actually Barbara, no, she told me she's been having headaches again"
"shit" Daniel said wiping his mouth
"I was afraid this would happen" Barbara sighed "is she?"
"she forgot what day it was, we were at the studio, she told the receptionist to have a good weekend"
"dammit" Barbara said "I'll call Dr. Shepard, and see what he has to say"
"I hope she isn't mad I told you, you know how she is"
"it'll be fine, why don't you take her something to drink, and make sure she's comfortable, I'll give doctor feelgood a call and let you know what he says" Barbara said standing up getting the phone.
"ok" Callie said going for the fridge grabbing a couple bottles of water and leaving the room. By the time she reached the bedroom, Arizona was already laying down, Callie stopped and looked at her "you told my mom didn't you"
"she could tell something was wrong" Callie shrugged
"she always does" Arizona sighed
"I brought you some water"
"thanks" Arizona said sitting up reaching for the bottle "I'm sorry Callie, I was really wanting to" Callie cut her off "Arizona, it's ok, I just want you better"
"will you lay with me?"
"of course," Callie said taking off her shoes and sliding in bed next to her, Arizona made herself comfortable on Callie's chest "yeah this is helping" she wrapped her arms around Callie, drifting off to sleep. Callie laid there, rubbing Arizona's back, she heard a soft knock on the door. Slowly climbing out from under Arizona, she opened the door, seeing Barbara standing there, she stepped out, closing the door behind her, following Barbara down to the living room. "did something happen to trigger it?"
"well" Callie took a deep breath "like I said we were at the studio, Brad and April" she stopped "that's it"
"what's it?"
"she was" Callie looked at Barbara "Brad and April want her to go on tour"
"she doesn't want to do that"
"right, so she was getting angry"
"blood pressure" Barbara nodded
"make sense now" Callie said sitting down on the couch. "hopefully when she wakes up she'll be good"
"if it's that, I think we should talk her into seeing the doctor again"
"I'll try" Callie rolled her eyes
"so, a tour" Daniel said
"yeah, she eventually agreed, it's only two weeks, four shows, one is in Denver"
"Denver huh?" Daniel looked at Barbara
"she didn't want to go, but I told her I'd go with her" Callie sighed
"good" Barbara smiled "it'll do her some good to get out of town for a bit"
"hope so" Callie sighed
"we haven't had a chance to talk much" Barbara smiled looking at Callie "how is everything?"
"everything?" Callie asked confused
"you know between the two of you?"
"oh" Callie smiled, remembering the necklace Arizona had given her "everything is amazing, although I feel as if a dream has come true, I've had a crush on Arizona for a long time, and well" that last part was something Callie hadn't admitted to anyone.
"hey what's going on down here" Arizona asked coming down the stairs.
"how are you feeling?" Barbara asked
"better now, food, pills and sleep do wonders" Arizona said sitting down on the couch next to Callie
"Arizona, honey, did you have it before you went to the office?" Barbara asked trying to figure out what caused the headache
"it was a dull ache, but got worse as Brad and April started in"
"that's what I thought, after talking to Callie" Barbara said looking at Daniel "I think you should see the doctor"
"yeah, I'll call tomorrow"
"I already made you an appointment, tomorrow at 8" Barbara said
"thanks mom" Arizona smiled
"you aren't mad?" Callie asked
"why would I be mad?"
"um" Callie said "I um"
"you told my parents because you were worried about me. Honestly, I have been worried too, I don't want to get addicted to those pills, but they do wonders"
"I think it has to do with your blood pressure rising" Barbara said "and I explained that to the nurse when I called" Arizona nodded as Barbara went on with what the nurse had said "ok I'll go in the morning" Arizona said looking at Callie, she reached for her hand bringing it to her mouth kissing the back of it.
"oh you two are just too cute" Barbara gushed
"mom" Arizona tried to scold her but ended up laughing.
