Chapter 8

The tour finally over, found Callie relaxing on the couch, flipping through the tv, not finding anything. She landed on a tv show that caught her interest. Lost in trying to figure out the multiple plot twist, she jumped hearing someone enter the house, her racing heart put at ease seeing it was just Arizona, she smiled "hey"

"hi" Arizona smiled, sitting down on the couch next to Callie

"did you get the bus unloaded?"

"sure did, I'm so glad that part of my life is over" Arizona sat back letting out a long sigh, Callie smiled looking over at her "thank you again for going with"

"anytime" she whispered reaching up touching Arizona's face

"no" Arizona reached up grabbing her hand "I'm serious" she paused looking directly into Callie's eyes "thank you"

"as I just said" Callie leaned over placing a soft kiss on Arizona's lips "anytime" Arizona smiled a shy smile. Callie could see a hint of red in her cheeks "are you blushing?"

"no" she said pulling back turning her head

"me thinks you are" Callie laughed

"alright" Arizona said turning her head to look at her "I am blushing"

"glad you admit it" Callie winked, hearing Arizona let out a sigh, feeling her move she climbed up on Callie's lap, straddling her she took her face in her hands "Calliope" she said looking into her eyes, feeling her eyes start to sting "I love you"

"I love you" Callie said giving Arizona a puzzled look, she wasn't sure where this was coming from, but the thought soon left when Arizona pressed her lips against hers.

A few days later had the girls lounging around the house, Carlos was gone on a bus trip. They had taken to staying at Callie's most the time, Carlos was often gone so they had the most alone time there. Watching some tv show Callie had found a few days ago. "what is she saying?" Arizona asked

"I think she's" Callie started to say "oh my god she just kissed her" Callie laughed "she just walked up to her in the bathroom and kissed her"

"and walked out" Arizona laughed "what is this show?"

"I'm not entirely sure" Callie laughed "I was flipping through the channels and stopped on it a few days ago"

"hmm" Arizona said as the credits started to roll "I'll be right back" she said standing from the couch she wasn't gone more than a few minutes when her phone rang with Teddy's ringtone. Callie reached over accepting the call "hey Teds"

"you're not my sister" Teddy laughed

"no" Callie laughs "I'm not"

"is she around?" Teddy asked through the phone

"yeah, she just went to take a piss" Callie says, she could hear Teddy let out a chuckle "what's so funny?" she asks

"nothing"

"hmm, ok" Callie shook her head "so how's engagement life?"

"it's" Teddy started to say "it's amazing, that's actually why I called"

"oh?"

"yeah" Teddy laughed "Addie told me about asking you to do a double wedding and" Teddy stopped letting out a sigh. Callie could tell she'd be more comfortable talking to Arizona about this, "I was wondering if you'd given any more thought to that"

"oh, um well" Callie paused seeing Arizona come back into the room

"hey who is on the phone?" Arizona asked noticing it was her phone Callie was on

"your sister" she said handing her the phone

"hey Teds what's up?" Arizona said putting the phone to her ear

"she never answered my question" Teddy laughed

"what question?" Arizona looked at Callie confused; Callie shrugged her shoulders. She didn't want to be the one to make this decision.

"well" Teddy's voice came through the phone once again asking the question "Addie said she mentioned having a double wedding, I was wondering if you guys had given anymore thought to that"

"oh, um" Arizona heard Teddy laugh "that's the same reply Callie gave me"

"hmm" Arizona said looking at Callie, who just gave her a smile "well we haven't talked about it but I will make sure we do tonight"

"ok" Teddy said quietly

"is everything alright?" Arizona asked knowing when her sister talked like that something was up

"well" Teddy let out a sigh "I was really hoping you guys would be up for it, I mean we've shared everything in our lives up until now, and well I'd really like to share an anniversary with you too"

"we don't share everything" Arizona laughed "our birthdays are different"

"a few days doesn't matter" Teddy chuckled "mom always celebrated them together"

"yeah she did" Arizona looked at Callie who was staring at her "what do you think?" she asked her fiancée, Callie didn't say anything just shrugged her shoulders. "Calliope, I need words here"

"honestly Arizona if she doesn't want to it's fine" Teddy's voice came through the phone

"whatever you want to do" Callie finally says giving Arizona a smile

"hold on a sec Teds" Arizona pulled the phone away from her ear, covering the bottom "no it's not what I want, this is your day too, so you tell me" Arizona said looking into Callie's eyes, that she had learned pretty quickly, were the gateway to what Callie was really thinking, Callie smiled "ok, let's do it" she said quietly, Arizona almost didn't hear her.

"what" she smiled wanting her to repeat the answer, Callie shook her head "let's do the double wedding" Arizona leaned in placing a kiss on her lips and put the phone back to her ear "you hear that sissy?"

"no, all I heard was static" Teddy laughed, Arizona felt Callie reach for the phone putting it against her ear "let's do it" Callie said into the device. Arizona could hear the squeal her sister let out through the phone. Callie pulled the phone away from her ear, shaking her head handing it back to Arizona. "Teds" Arizona laughed into the phone; she could hear her sister on the other end doing her celebratory dance.

"sorry" Teddy laughed "Addie and I were talking about coming to town next weekend, are you free? We've got a lot to discuss"

"we'll be around" Arizona said looking at Callie

"alright I'll let you know our flight details" Teddy said the excitement evident in her voice

"ok sissy"

"love you" the phone goes silent before Arizona could say it back, pulling the phone away from her ear she let out a laugh as she tossed it on the coffee table. Callie was still sitting there staring at her "they're coming next weekend, apparently we have a lot to discuss" Arizona laughed

"did we just agree to have a double wedding with your sister?" Callie laughed, she knew what she was agreeing to she had been giving it a lot of thought and knew it's what Arizona wanted. And to her it didn't matter what they did, as long a she got the blonde at the end of it all. "is… is that not what you want?" Arizona asked

"honestly" Callie asked looking into those blue orbs, she saw Arizona nod "all I want is to be able to call you my wife" Callie smiled reaching for Arizona's left hand, the ring caught the light and shined.

"I want nothing more than that too" Arizona laughed hoping that made sense, sometimes when Callie was touching her, in any sort of way she had a hard time putting words together. They shared a laugh, as both their stomachs started to growl. "dinner" Callie smiled. Arizona nodded, watching as Callie stood from the couch, turned holding out her hand, Arizona took it as Callie pulled her up and into her lips "I love you Arizona Robbins"

"I love you too Calliope"

Arizona was sitting at her desk, trying to make sense of the contract she had sitting in front of her, for a new artist April had recruited. Shaking her head, she tossed her pen on the desk, let out a groan, rubbing her face with her hands. "knock, knock" she heard from the doorway, looking up she saw her sister standing there.

"what are you doing here?" she smiled "I thought you weren't coming until next weekend?"

"well" Teddy shrugged, and smiled moving farther into the office taking a seat in one of the chairs Arizona had in front of her desk for visitors "Addie got time off so" she said looking around "I love what you've done with the place"

"thanks" Arizona laughed, shaking her head

"where's your girl?"

"home with mom, and Callie" Teddy smiled "wedding planning" she added the last part laughing.

"oh god" Arizona shook her head "I better go save her" Arizona reached up turning off her computer monitor, one last look at the contract, she shook her head that could wait she had better things to do right now. She stood from her chair grabbing her jacket, it was chilly when she came in this morning, she pulled it on, patting her pockets making sure she had her keys, then nodded for the door. "did you drive?"

"no I took a taxi" Teddy smiled, Arizona nodded as she locked the door to her office.

"leaving early?" a voice called from down the hallway "oh Teddy" April smiled once she got closer "I didn't know you were coming"

"I just showed up"

"where's" April started to say looking around, Teddy cut her off "she's at the house with my mom and Callie"

"ah" April smiled "wedding planning?" she asked, both Teddy and Arizona nodded "cool"

"I need to go save Callie" Arizona laughed, April nodded "did you get that contract figured out?"

"no, it's all a jumbled mess right now, I'll do it tomorrow" Arizona said looking at her boss, who nodded and said "ok" then turned to leave. Arizona shook her head and led her sister out to the lobby, tossing a wave at Susan as they passed.

"I like this color" Addison said pointing to a magazine that Barbara had opened in front of her "Callie what do you think?" Callie leaned over looking at the color, she was trying but this was Arizona's area not hers, Arizona was the one who had been thinking about her wedding since she was a kid. She nodded in agreement, she heard Addie let out a laugh "you're not really into this are you?" she asked

"well" Callie shrugged "this is more Arizona's cup of tea"

"oh you know what" Barbara said pushing her chair back from the table "I have something that could help" she stood and left the room. Leaving the two women sitting at the table confused, she came back a minute later with a binder "this was from" she looked at Callie, cleared her throat "Arizona's ideas" she said.

"let's see it" Addie said reaching for the binder "shit she had everything planned out down to the color of the napkins" Addie laughed

"she did" Barbara said taking her seat again "all she needed was the right person to share it with" she looked up meeting Callie's eyes "which is you honey" she reached over touching Callie's hand. Callie gave her a smile and moved her attention to the book. Seeing something that interested her "we could do that" she reached over pointing at a picture of an arch, that was decked out in white, and blue flowers.

"maybe not those colors but yes" Addie agreed

"ok" Barbara reached for the notebook she had been writing stuff down in.

"oh and these" Addie says looking at the picture of the brides maids dresses "I love the color" she looked up at Callie "who are you going to have stand up for you?"

"um" Callie shifted in her seat, she really didn't have many friends, the only one she could think of was Meredith but she hadn't actually talked to her since before the accident. So she just shrugged, not saying anything.

"Teddy doesn't have anyone either" Addie says

"I'm sure Arizona will want April there" Barbara said, Callie let out a chuckle, the other two women at the table looked at her "how is it that out of the four of us Arizona is the only one who has a friend"

"I have friends, just not ones I'm close too" Addie laughed "you guys have become my friends" Addie sat back in her chair "which is something I wanted to talk to you about" she says looking at Barbara. Who was looking back at her with the same smile Arizona gives me "what would you say if we moved here?" Addie asked

"Teddy wants to move back?" Barbara asked "didn't she just get that job?" Addison nods "she does and did"

"they have an office here" Teddy says coming into the room, Arizona not far behind, she walked over to Addison, placing a kiss on her cheek.

"well I would love to have both my girls home" Barbara smiled,

"mom" Arizona said "what are you doing with that?" she asked seeing her mother had her wedding binder.

"I thought it'd come in handy" Barbara smiled

"it actually has" Callie said, she wanted to say something to let Arizona know she wasn't upset.

"oh right" Addie smile "I loved the arch way, although the colors would need to be different" Addie pushes the book forward for everyone to see, Callie looked at Arizona, her eyes beaming with joy. She smiled, she wanted Arizona to have the wedding she always dreamed of, and at that moment she was bound and determined to give that to her.

"hey Cal, you want to join me outside?" Teddy asked

"sure" Callie pushed her chair back, placed a kiss on Arizona's cheek and followed her soon to be sister in law out onto the deck that over looked the huge back yard. "have they decided where this shindig is going to be?" Teddy asked taking a seat

"I don't think so" Callie laughed

"well I think we should just do it here" Teddy said looking out over the yard she and Arizona had numerous parties in over the years. "I mean it's perfect" she laughed

"it is" Callie agreed

"this whole wedding planning thing isn't for me" Teddy shrugged "and I have a feeling it's going to cause a fight between us before it's over" she laughed

"yeah, seems like Arizona already had everything planned so" Callie shrugged

"are you" Teddy said looking at her "are you planning on wearing a dress?"

"well" Callie sat back in her chair "honestly I'm not really a dress kind of girl" she said looking at Teddy, who nodded in agreement "I think mom is hoping Arizona and I will get matching dresses" she laughed

"she's mentioned that" Callie nodded

"but I was thinking" Teddy said pulling out her phone, Callie watched as she typed and held it out to her, a smile graced her face "now that I could do" Teddy had shown her a picture of a vest, and tie, in various colors "right" Teddy agreed "I was thinking that either the purple or red would look amazing with a black shirt under it, and a nice pair of Levi's"

"you think your mom will let us get away with wearing jeans?" Callie chuckled looking up into Teddy's eyes

"it's our wedding too" Teddy smiled "should I order them?" she asked looking down at her phone

"yes" Callie smiled "red for me please"

"that's what I thought you'd say, and I'll go with this one" she said pointing to the screen, it was the purple one she had shown her to begin with "we'll go shopping for the jeans, and shirt later" she smiled "what size do you think" she asked looking at Callie's breasts. Callie sat back looking down at her chest "maybe a two X, gotta give the girls room to breathe" she laughed

"my thoughts exactly" Teddy laughed as she punched some more buttons on her phone "there, ordered, I had them sent here" Callie smiled, looking out over the yard "so" she cleared her throat "you moving back?"

"I think so" Teddy smiled "I mean the only thing really holding us back is my job, and well after talking to my boss, and finding out they have an office here"

"Arizona is going to love that" Callie smiled, she herself would love that. After the first day Teddy came to her room she found she could easily talk to her, and had hoped they'd become friends. And was disappointed when she found out Teddy was moving to Denver. "and you two? Are you living together yet?"

"sort of" Callie laughed "we've been spending most the time at my house, my dad is often gone on bus trips, so we're alone, but I was thinking about looking for a house"

"we could be neighbors" Teddy laughed "Arizona and I used to joke about that when we were kids"

"that actually wouldn't be a bad idea" Callie smiled liking the thought of having Teddy so close. Hearing a squeal come from inside the house, they both turned to the door "I know that sound" Teddy laughed "Addie found something she's in love with"

"should we go see?" Callie asked, seeing Teddy nod, they both stood and made their way back to the kitchen.

Arizona reached for the binder that her mother had sitting in front of her. She hadn't looked at in awhile, truth be told, even before the accident she wasn't entirely sure she wanted to marry Mark. Flipping through the pages "wait what's that?" Addie said looking over her shoulder.

"this" she flipped back to the page "it's" Arizona looked down at the page that had a picture of a wedding dress "it's the dress she had picked out" Barbara said

"it's perfect" Addie squealed, the sound almost deafening, causing the two Robbins women to laugh. Addison was going to be a perfect addition to the family.

"what's going on in here" Teddy said walking in, Addie took the binder from Arizona and flipped the page, not wanting the other two to see what they were looking at. "nothing baby" Addie smiled

"hmm" Teddy gave her a quizzical look and laughed "that's not the sound that comes out of your mouth when it's nothing" she leaned in "that's more the sound that comes out when, I find that right spot just inside"

"stop" Addie said swatting her arm

"just saying" Teddy whispered, placing a kiss on her cheek and taking the seat next to her. Callie had taken the seat next to Arizona.

"have you picked a date yet?" Callie asked looking at the mess they had created on the kitchen table.

"no" Arizona laughed, looking at her mother, who was completely enjoying herself.

"oh, excuse me" Addison said hearing her phone ring, she looked at her then at Teddy and smiled, placing a kiss on her cheek as she stood and left the room.

"mom" Teddy says, "Callie and I found what we are wearing"

"oh" Barbara perked up, Teddy looked at Callie who nodded, then pulled out her phone. "you found it online?" Barbara asked

"yes" Teddy smiled, as she held the phone out "this one is Callie's" she said, tapping the phone and "this one is mine"

"oh" Barbara's tone was that of someone who wasn't impressed

"you don't like it?" Teddy asked pulling her phone away

"no, it's just" Barbara shook her head "I was hoping you'd wear a dress" she said looking at both Callie and Teddy.

"mom neither one of them are comfortable wearing dresses, I mean I've only seen Callie in one" she paused looking at Callie, remembering the day she came home from work and found her cooking in one "once" she smiled "let me see" she said reaching for Teddy's phone.

"we were thinking a black shirt under and some Levi's" Callie said looking over Arizona's shoulder

"yours is the red?" Arizona asked, seeing Callie nod, she smiled "I love it"

"Levi's" Barbara asked "as in jeans?" Teddy nods with a huge smile "you are not wearing jeans to a wedding"

"mom come on" Teddy protested her smile fading

"mom, it'll be ok, as long as they are brand new and not faded" Arizona said

"that was the plan" Teddy smiled

"you're not wearing jeans to your wedding Theodora" Barbara looks at her eldest, although not by much, daughter.

"mom" Teddy stomps her foot, causing Arizona to let out a giggle, it was something Teddy used to do when she was younger and couldn't get what she wanted "shut it" Teddy shouted looking at Arizona.

"Barbara, think about it for a moment" Callie says "Teddy and I" she says motioning between Teddy and herself "are both more comfortable in a pair of pants, not a dress" Barbara sat there silently shaking her head, and finally said "jeans are not proper wedding attire"

"what if you go with us" Callie says "you know, you can pick them out" Callie glances at Teddy, who was biting her bottom lip. Barbara takes the phone from Teddy, looking at the picture "you said a black shirt under and jeans?" she asks not taking her eyes off the picture

"yes" Teddy jumps in "I was thinking a dark wash" she adds looking over her mothers shoulder.

"no not dark" Barbara looks up, "we'll go and find the perfect pair" she smiles

"yes" Teddy fist pumps the air, causing Barbara to give her a stern look "sorry momma" then moves back to her chair next to Addison, who had joined them again in the middle of the argument.

"we need to pick a date" Arizona says looking at the mess on the table then up at Callie.

"when were you thinking?" Addison asks meeting Arizona's eyes

"well um" she shrugged looking at Callie, who was looking at Teddy.

"Damn children just pick something" Barbara says shaking her head, a moment later she stood and disappeared leaving the group confused, she comes back a minute later, setting a book on the table, sitting down she opens it. "it's now July" she slips the book open "how about next June?" she looks at the group. Arizona shrugged, looking at Callie, Teddy let out a mumble, as Addison giggled "you two have always been so indecisive" Barbara shakes her head, she flips the book open "ok Saturday's in June are the 7th, 14th, 21st"

"the 21st" Addison blurts out

"alright Saturday June 21st" Barbara says writing it in the box that allotted for such. "now where?"

"where?" Arizona asks confused, Teddy stood from the table and went to look out the patio door "how about here?" she asks

"here? Like right here?" Arizona looked around the house

"well outside, think about it Zo, how many awesome parties have we had here?" Teddy turns looking at her sister. Arizona looked at Addison, who nodded, then to Callie who was smiling "I like that idea" Callie saying

"alright, we'll have it have it here" Barbara smiled, happy they finally got something done today. "we still have a lot to go over but for now, would anyone like some lunch?" as if on cue all four of the girls stomachs growled. "I guess that's my answer" she laughs pushing her chair back.

So, wedding date set, Teddy and Callie have their clothes picked. How is Barbara going to act when they go shopping for the pants? lol Oh yeah, I had a review saying that it's hard to picture Callie shorter than Arizona, just go with it for the sake of this story. Remember its just a story and if you don't like it don't read it. Ok now back to writing, thanks again for reading. Reviews are always welcomed.
