Chapter 10
"Theodora, can you come here please" Barbara calls
"ok" Teddy smiles at her mother although not by birth, Teddy's parents had both died in a car accident when she was two. The Altman family being the best friends of the Robbins, Daniel and Barbara stepped in, adopting little Teddy, who was left all alone. Raising her right along with their daughter, who was only 5 days younger than, Teddy. "what's up mom" Teddy asked. "Teddy this is" Barbara starts to say as a tall blonde stepped out from behind her. "this is Irene Altman" she pauses after she says the last name "she would be"
"my aunt" Teddy says. They never hid anything from Teddy, she knew early on she was adopted, but both Barbara and Daniel made sure Teddy knew she was loved. Looking the blonde up and down, she was tall, and had the same grayish eyes as Teddy. The woman nods and says "Theodora, look at you" Teddy gives a confused look to Barbara, who then gives her an I'll explain later look. "I haven't seen you since you were"
"just born" Teddy says almost in a whisper
"yes" the woman nods, then takes a deep breath, "I've been" she looks down "I've been detained for a while this is the first chance I've had to" Teddy cuts her off "you've been detained for over 20 years?" the woman nods, causing Teddy to shake her head.

"hey Zo, who is that woman your mom and Teddy are talking to?" Addie asked, when Barbara had called Teddy over Addie went and found Arizona and Callie, not wanting to be wandering around alone.
"um" Arizona turns around, as her sight locks onto her mother and Teddy "I'm not sure" she says blinking a few times. If she didn't know any better she'd say that said woman could be Teddy's biological mother. "she looks an awful lot like Teddy" Callie says seeing the confused look on her fiancées face.
"yeah" Arizona says still confused "I'll be" she doesn't finish the rest of her sentence before she takes off in the direction of her mom and sister. Callie could swear that she saw dust kick up from Arizona's shoes.
"hmm" Addie says as they watch Arizona walk up to the group.
"I'm sorry it's taken me so long" the lady says, Arizona still had no idea who this woman was. "you look good"
"you, you think you can just show up, after all this time and expect me to, to" Arizona stepped up "what's going on"
"this, this" Teddy started to say but couldn't get out anymore shaking her head and storming off towards the house. Arizona looks at her mother "mom, what's"
"Arizona, this is Irene Altman" Barbara says "Irene this is my OTHER, daughter Arizona" making sure to put emphasis on other, hearing the last name, Arizona looks the lady up and down "I'm Eugene's sister" Irene says. Everything coming together, Arizona looks at her mother "so that's why Teddy just took off into the house" Barbara nods. "hmm" Arizona turns her attention back to the lady, who she just learned was Teddy's biological aunt. "I'll go talk to her" Arizona says making her way towards the house, the same direction Teddy had just gone.

"now what the fuck is going on?" Addie asked,
"I, I have no idea" Callie says watching Arizona head into the house after Teddy who was almost running.
"some party this is turning out to be" Addie says downing her drink
"that lady looks a lot like Teddy" Callie says looking at Addie "you know she's adopted right?"
"yes, that was one of the first things she told me" Addie nodded
"hmm" Callie hums "come on" she grabs Addie by the elbow and leads her over to Barbara "hey" Callie says catching the attention of the older Robbins.
"hello dear" Barbara smiles
"so um" Callie didn't know how to bring up the elephant in the yard. "what's going on" Addie blurts out.
"oh" Barbara says looking towards the door her daughters had both gone through "um" she cleared her throat "Callie, Addison, this is" she paused again
"my name is Irene Altman" Addison gave the woman a confused look, but Callie caught on right away "I'm Theodora's aunt"
"Theodora's aunt" Addie says repeating the words, the woman nods, then looks at Barbara confused "she um, she read about the engagement and" Barbara shrugs her shoulders.
"hmm" Addie says looking the woman over "so you're here why?"
"I just wanted to" the older woman shakes her head "you know what, this was a bad idea" she looks at Barbara "I'm sorry for ruining your party" she let out a sigh reached into her purse, the size of it, it could be more of a suit case then a purse, she hands Barbara a card "if she wants to contact me" Barbara gives her a nod taking the card. "it's a pleasure meeting you all, and seeing you again Barb, give my love to Danny" Barbara nodded, the three watching as the lady walked away.

"Teddy" Arizona called, but got nothing in return, sighing she headed up the stairs knowing where her sister would be. "Teddy" she says pushing open the door to Teddy's room, she saw Teddy sitting on the bed, something in her hands, crying. "hey" Arizona said softly, as she moved farther into the room, sitting down on the bed next to her. In Teddy's hands was a picture of her with her parents. "she just, she just thought she could" Teddy couldn't get out anymore through her tears, Arizona wrapped her arm around her sister "it's been, god" Teddy said standing up "where the hell has she been the last 20 plus years" Arizona just shrugged, she still wasn't sure what was going on. Arizona looked over at the picture Teddy had placed on the bed before she stood up. The woman looked just like Teddy's dad, like they could have been twins. "I don't know what to do Zo"
"I don't know what to tell you" Arizona said meeting Teddy's eyes "this has got to be hard, but remember mom, dad and I love you, and nothing will change that" Arizona stood wrapping Teddy in her arms, the feeling of Arizona's arms around her, she broke down again. They stood there like that for awhile when Teddy finally calmed Arizona whispered "maybe you should meet with her and let her talk, see what she has to say, what's the worst that can happen, she walks away? You didn't have her before, so"
"I don't know if I want to"
"well then think about it, I'm sure mom got her contact info" they were broken apart when a knock on the door came, Arizona never shut it, when they looked up they were met with a pair of sad green eyes "hey" Addie said quietly
"hi" Arizona said in the same tone, nodding for Addie to come in, Arizona slipped herself out of Teddy's grip, and handed her off to Addie. "Teds if you need me, I'll be downstairs"
"thanks Zo" Teddy sniffed as she wrapped her arms around Addie, Arizona slowly backed out of the room, this time closing the door behind her. Making her way down the stairs, and back through the house. Seeing Callie standing in the kitchen "hey"
"hey, how is she?"
"well" Arizona shrugged "how would you be?"
"hmm" Callie hummed walking around the counter, reaching out pulling Arizona in, "I don't know"
"exactly" Arizona let out in a sigh, laying her head on Callie's shoulder, she felt nothing but the love this woman had for her. "I love you Calliope"
"I love you, Arizona" Arizona kissed the top of her head "come on, let's try and save this party your parents worked so hard at"
"hmm" Arizona closed her eyes "ok" they shared a kiss then Arizona reached for her hand and headed back to the party.
"there you are" a voice Arizona would know anywhere called "I've been looking all over for you"
"yeah we had a" Arizona stopped looking at April, a smile graced her face seeing she had brought a friend. She saw April's face turn red, "you, um, you know Jackie" she said nodding towards the woman standing to her right. "I do" Arizona smiled "Jackie, thanks for coming"
"congratulations" Jackie smiled
"oh this is my" Arizona stopped looking at Callie "my soon to be wife Callie"
"oh my god, Callie, it's good to finally meet you" Jackie says reaching her hand out
"Jackie is the waitress from the diner across the street from the office" Arizona says
"Arizona just gushes over you" Jackie smiles, Callie let out a chuckle "she tends to do that"
"you do the same" Arizona nudged her
"she's right, sometimes I go all fangirl on her" Callie smiled, taking the offered hand and shaking it. "would either of you like a drink?" she adds seeing Arizona wanted to get April alone "I'd love one" the waitress smiles and followed Callie off. "so, dinner went well?" Arizona asked turning to look at her friend.
"well" April shrugged, Arizona saw her face turn red causing her to laugh "have you been together this whole time?"
"well" April shrugged again
"when's the wedding?" Arizona laughed "it better not be before mine"
"no wedding" April laughed "although she is really amazing, believe it or not we haven't slept together yet"
"wait what?" Arizona says looking at her friend, who nodded "I like her Zo, I don't want to rush anything"
"who are you and what have you done with the real April?"
"stop" April pushed her, they are broken out of their banter when Callie and Jackie came back, handing them both a drink "thanks baby" Arizona leaned in kissing Callie's cheek. "so Arizona" Jackie says "I've been wondering, is Arizona your real name or is it a stage name?" Arizona let out a laugh "it's my real name"
"how, I mean, why" Jackie stops "I'm sorry I'm just curious"
"come on" Arizona says leading the group to the table that was closest, sitting down she smiles "well, you see, most people think I was named after the state, but that's not true. My grandfather was in the marines, I was named after the battleship The U.S.S. Arizona. He was serving on the Arizona when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, and he saved 19 men before he drowned. And my dad, not getting a chance to meet his father, decided that he would do what he could to keep his memory alive, and since I was a girl" Arizona shrugged
"wow" April says "I didn't know that"
"me either" Callie says
"you never asked" Arizona says not looking up
"I guess I just figured you'd tell me" Callie said placing her hand on Arizona's back "and I'm glad you did" she leaned in placing a kiss on her cheek
"hey Zo, where's Teddy and Addie?" April asked looking around
"um" Arizona shifted in her seat "we had, um" Arizona looked at Callie for help, as Teddy and Addie appeared in the doorway "she's right there" Addie had her arm protectively around Teddy as she led them to the table. Arizona watched as Teddy sat down "I'll get you a drink" Addie said, placing a kiss on Teddy's cheek and heads off.
"I hope it's alcoholic" Teddy said shaking her head
"how you doing?" Callie asked reaching out for Teddy's hand
"I'll be fine" Teddy sighs "have you talked to mom?"
"no" Arizona shook her head "I haven't had time"
"Teddy this is Jackie" April says, Teddy's eyes shot up not realizing there was other's at the table "hello" she says trying her best to put on a smile but failed
"Jackie is my, um" April stopped
"well I'd like to be her girlfriend but whose rushing" Jackie smiled, causing Teddy to let out a giggle "April with a girlfriend, that's" she starts to say but is met with a look from April "that's great" she smiled. Addison came back and the introductions were given again. The group sat at the table, talking and laughing as the party went on around them.

"we should probably say something" Arizona sighed looking around, as with all the parties they had there was a DJ, Arizona stood, grabbing Callie's hand, looking at her sister, who seemed in better spirits now "you coming?" Teddy nodded, grumbling something under her breath. "I'll do the talking you just have to be there" still grumbling Addie grabbed her hand and followed Arizona to the DJ. Motioning for a mic, the man turned down the music, as Arizona began "hello everyone" she said waiting a moment to make sure she had everyone's attention. "Callie, Teddy, Addison and I want to thank you all for coming and celebrating with us" she paused again "I don't know what else to say" Arizona laughed, surprised when Teddy took the microphone from her "thank you mom and dad" Teddy said, Arizona couldn't help but smile, she knew Teddy wasn't thanking them for the party she was thanking them for everything. "I love you both"
"I love you both also" Arizona says leaning in so she could be heard, Teddy handed the microphone back to her "so as the party winds down, I hope you all enjoyed yourself and we'll see you at the wedding" Arizona says turning microphone the off and handing it back to the DJ.
"Arizona, that was a nice speech" Carlos says
"daddy" Callie smiles, giving her dad a hug "when did you get here?"
"I've been here, just hiding" Carlos laughed, Callie hit his arm "you should have come found me"
"you were busy" he says looking at the group, settling on Arizona, as their eyes met Arizona felt a lump in her stomach "you take good care of her"
"I will sir" Arizona nods, he nods then placed a kiss on Callie's cheek "I'm headed out of town for a few days, I'm not entirely sure when I'll be back"
"I'll watch the house" Callie says quietly it was the same conversation they always had when Carlos was leaving. He pulled Callie in for another hug "I'm so proud of you"
"thanks daddy" Callie couldn't hold back, as a tear slipped down her cheek "she would be too" he whispered
"I know" she sniffled and let go, sensing something wasn't right Arizona stepped in wrapping an arm around Callie. Carlos gave the couple another look, nodded and walked away. "you ok?" Arizona whispered
"yeah" Callie smiled looking into those eyes that always made her feel better.

"ugh" Arizona says plopping down on her parents couch "next party could we not have so much excitement"
"yes please" Teddy says sitting in the chair pulling Addie onto her lap, Callie took the seat next Arizona, the four sat in silence for a bit when Teddy says "when can we move?" everyone starts laughing.
"soon" Addie whispered "very soon" then kissed her cheek
"Teddy" Barbara said coming into the room standing next to the chair "yes mom"
"um, I don't know if you want it or not but she left her contact information with me" Barbara says handing Teddy the card that Irene had given her. Taking a deep breath Teddy reached for it "thanks"
"you don't have to contact her if you don't want to, but think about it" Barbara said "I don't know why she waited this long, but I'm sure there's a good reason" she taps her daughter on the leg and leaves the room. Teddy sat there staring at the card, Addie kissed her cheek "Teds, I'll go with if you want"
"we can all go" Callie says making sure Teddy knew she had back up
"thanks guys" Teddy says tossing the card on the end table "but right now I'd like to forget about it, and her. I'll deal with it tomorrow" then let out a deep sigh.
"well" Arizona says "I'm beat" looking at Callie "are you ready for bed?"
"hmm" Callie hummed nodding her head which she had placed on Arizona's shoulder
"you guys staying here?" Teddy asked
"I do still live here" Arizona says
"I know, I just thought you'd go back to Callie's"
"why? When we're already here" Arizona looks at Teddy who shrugged "I think what she's trying to say is it'll be nice having you here when we wake up" Addie says, Teddy let out a grunt, and shrugged her shoulders again. "we should go to bed too, it's been a long day" she adds. This time instead of a shrugging she nodded.
"well" Callie stood up, and reached out for Arizona's hand "ma' lady"
"you are such a dork" Arizona laughs taking it, as Callie pulled her in "don't you forget it" she smiled and placed a kiss on Arizona's lips.

The sound of something vibrating woke Callie from a rather pleasant dream about a certain blonde, and vibrating toy. At first Callie thought it was the dream, but when she became conscious, she heard the sound of Arizona's phone ringing. "baby" Callie whispered when she didn't get a reply "baby" she said louder, this time Arizona let out a grunt but nothing more, shaking her head Callie reached over the slumbering blonde and grabbed Arizona's phone. The screen was lit up Teresa Hunt, Callie quickly slides the button "hello"
"Arizona?" the woman's voice asked
"no, this is Callie" Callie says laying her head back on the pillow
"oh Callie, great, I was beginning to think I had the wrong number" she laughed
"no you have the right number, Arizona is um" Callie felt Arizona move next to her "I'm awake" she heard the voice say "who is on the phone?"
"Teresa" Callie says
"hmm" Arizona groaned stretching out her body, Callie winced as she heard the pop of Arizona's joints. "I'll give you to her" Callie says into the phone
"no it's ok, I just needed to talk to someone and I hit Arizona's name first" Teresa went on "if at all possible could the four of you meet me at the house"
"um" Callie looks at Arizona blue eyes still not fully awake "that should be doable when is a good time"
"um let's see" Teresa goes silent for a moment "it's 8? How about 10?"
"10 sounds great" Callie said, happy she had decided to take today off.
"awesome" Teresa says in an excited tone, causing Callie to let out a chuckle "I'll see you then"
"see you then" Callie pulled the phone away from her ear tossing it at the still half asleep blonde "you may want to charge that"
"eh" Arizona said pulling the covers back over her head
"we need to get up"
"why?" Arizona groaned, causing Callie to laugh usually it was her who was not wanting to get out of bed in the morning "because Teresa wants us to meet her at the house at 10, and it's already 8, so if you want a shower" Arizona let out another loud groan "fine" she flings the covers off her sending her phone across the room "and we'll have to get you a new phone" Callie laughed
"eh, it's fine" Arizona stood making her way to the door, walking across the hall to her sisters room pounding on the door "get up" she yelled
"we're already up" Addie says coming out of the bathroom
"good" Arizona grumbles "Teresa wants us at the house at 10" she says moving passed the redhead and into the bathroom slamming the door closed. Causing Addie to shake her head and laugh, seeing Callie standing in the doorway "she's chipper today"
"yeah" Callie laughs, shaking her head following Addie downstairs, she decided to use the downstairs bathroom with Arizona in this kind of mood she didn't know how long she would take and her bladder needed relief.

At ten minutes to 10 the foursome pulled into the driveway of their soon to be home. Seeing no sign of the woman they were supposed to be meeting, they got out of Arizona's car and looked around. "we should get some rockers for the front porch" Addie said looking at the front porch that wrapped around two sides of the house.
"how about a swing?" Callie says
"perfect" Addie nods and smiles "I like the way you think"
"how's she doing?" Callie asked watching as Teddy and Arizona looked around the front yard
"she um" Addie let out a sigh "she's shaken up, but I think she'll be ok"
"I can't imagine what's going through her head" Callie says not taking her eyes away from the blondes, Arizona said something making Teddy laugh, but it wasn't her usual joyous laugh.
"yeah me either" Addie shakes her head, the four are brought together again when the red car pulls up next to Arizona's, and the shorter blonde woman steps out, a pair of sunglasses and a smile "hello ladies" the four say around of hello's "let's go inside and I'll go over what I needed you for" she smiles, opening the back door to her car pulling out her brief case, swinging it over her shoulder she leads the group to the front door and into the house.

Walking into their soon to be home for the second time, Callie smiles "I forgot about the fireplace" she whispers to Teddy.
"we can hang our Christmas stockings there" Teddy smiles, Callie noticed the smile wasn't forced this time "and put the tree right here" she walks over standing in the area she was talking about. Callie let out a chuckle "you like Christmas?
"I do" Teddy smiles "I love when it snows, although I hate the cold, but winter is my favorite season" Teddy lets out a small laugh "Arizona hates it, she hates being cold, one year I remember we went ice skating at the rink over on Jefferson" she paused waiting to see if Callie knew what she was talking about, seeing Callie nod she goes on "I was skating around in my hockey skates, I had just gotten for Christmas. I was super into hockey" Teddy shook her head "anyway, I was skating around on my own, Arizona wasn't so graceful, I tried to teach her but she just couldn't stand on the damn things" Teddy laughs "anyway I saw her up ahead, picking up my pace I skidded to a stop in front of her, spraying those little shards of ice at her, she lost her balanced and fell, causing her to break her right arm. And a minor concussion as her head hit the ice when she fell"
"ouch" Callie's hand went to her own head
"yeah, mom and dad weren't happy when they got a call saying we were at the ER" Teddy chuckles
"do you still skate?"
"I do" Teddy smiles "but not often"
"we'll have to go this winter" Callie smiles
"you skate?" Teddy asked, Callie could see the twinkle in her eyes return, and she smiled "I do"
"oh this is great" Teddy exclaimed "Addie doesn't much care for it, and well Arizona hasn't been on a pair of skates since that day" she laughs. The noise that came out of Teddy caused the other three people who were standing at the breakfast bar to look at them "everything alright?" Arizona asked knowing that sound
"did you know Callie skates?" Teddy asked
"I didn't" Arizona smiles looking at her fiancée "you do?"
"I do" Callie smiles "I used to play hockey with the boys in my neighborhood, back in the day"
"well there you go" Arizona smiled at her sister
"don't worry Zo, I told her about the one time you went"
"the one and only time I've been on a pair of ice skates" Arizona put her left hand over her right where it had been broken. "now give me a pair of inline skates and I'm off"
"me too" Addie smiles
"to be young again" Teresa says "I used to do all that but now this old lady can barely ride a bike"
"you can't be that old" Addie laughs
"don't let my looks fool you honey" Teresa laughs "I'm pushing 60"
"what? no way" Addie laughs "you look good" she says looking the lady up and down causing the group to laugh, but no one says anything more "ok, so" Teresa begins with why she wanted to meet with them "are all four of you going to be on the title?"
"well" Addie says looking at the other three who all shrugged their shoulders "why don't we just put me and Arizona on it"
"ok" Teresa smiled as she pulled out some papers she had in her brief case. "I wasn't sure how you were going to do it so I went ahead and printed copies with all four, and copies of just the two of you since you're who I've been dealing with" she says placing the papers on the counter "I'll shred those when I get back to the office" she smiles shoving them back into her bag. "I'll just need you to sign here" she says pointing to a spot, Arizona took the offered pen, and scribbles her name, then hands it to Addie who does the same "oh we aren't done yet" Teresa laughs "and I'll be sure to hold on to that, it'll be worth money someday" she winked at Arizona. Laughing Arizona shook her head "ok initial there" Teresa says flipping the page.

Since they weren't needed for anything, Teddy and Callie went about looking around. Finding themselves up stairs "so who gets this room" they were in the master bedroom, the one with the huge tub with jets.
"guess we'll have to talk to the wives about that" Callie says looking at the tub "but whoever gets it has to share the tub" the tub was big enough for all four of them to fit in, with a shower that could fit about 6. Shaking her head Teddy left the room, walking down the hallway coming to another door she steps into the room and to the window, which looked over the backyard "I like this room" she says hearing Callie come up behind her
"maybe we should make this an office" Callie offers looking around the room it was big enough where they could put four desks. Another hour went by, Callie and Teddy found themselves sitting on the front porch steps "I like how quiet the neighborhood is" Teddy mentions
"it is quiet" Callie said looking around the neighboring houses weren't too close, and across from them was wooded area.
"alright ladies thanks for meeting me" Teresa says as she Arizona and Addie walk out the front door. "if you need anything else from me don't hesitate to call"
"we won't thank you Teresa" Arizona smiles
"it was my pleasure" Teresa smiles "it was great to work with you" she reached out her hand to shake Arizona's, then Addie's, and once Teddy and Callie stood up she reached out her hand to them. With one more wave Teresa was headed to her car. "so now what?" Teddy asked looking at her sister.
"shopping" Arizona smiled holding up the keys to the house
"it's ours?" Teddy asked
"that's what took so long, we had to sign our lives away" Arizona rolled her eyes, but smiled Addie turned to make sure the house was locked up, when she turned back to the group "can we grab lunch before we do anything else?" she asks "I'm starved" Arizona smiled and nodded.

No one could decide what they wanted so Arizona drove to the diner across from the studio. Not surprised to see Jackie working, she laughed "isn't that the chick April is fucking?" Teddy asked
"according to her they hadn't slept together, but that could have changed" Arizona laughed as she made her way to her and April's usual booth. Sliding into the booth, Callie took the spot next to her, Arizona smiled as she reached for Callie's hand. "hello ladies" Jackie says coming over, handing them the menus Arizona didn't even pick hers up "can I get you anything to drink?"
"I'll take a" Arizona pauses she didn't feel like her usual coffee "dew" she nods looking at the waitress, seeing a discolored mark on her neck she let out a giggle as the rest of the group ordered their drinks, and Jackie disappeared. "what's so funny" Callie asked
"she's um" Arizona points to her neck "she's got a love bite"
"go April" Teddy laughs but silenced it quick when Jackie returned with their drinks.
"you ready to order?" she asks not making eye contact with Arizona. Arizona could see a slight blush to her cheeks. "I am, but I bet these guys aren't"
"nope" Addie says looking at the menu
"I'll come back" Jackie smiles and heads off, when the group finally puts the menus down she came back. Teddy asking five million questions about items she had seen on the menu, finally settling on a burger and fries along with everyone else. "so" Arizona says once the waitress disappeared to put in their order. "so" Addie says looking up into Arizona's eyes. They both smile "we just bought a house" she adds.
"we did" Arizona laughs "we need to take stock of what we'll need"
"everything" Teddy says taking a sip of her drink
"everything huh?" Arizona looks over at Callie who shrugs "well our first stop after here should be to get keys made, we only have the one"
"she only gave you one? Isn't that odd?" Addie asks
"we'll change the locks" Arizona says, reaching for a napkin and pulling out the pen that Teresa had just given her, she began to make a list. "do you guys have any furniture?"
"nope" Teddy shakes her head
"when we decided to move I sold everything we had, or donated it. Because I knew we'd be staying with your parents for a bit and didn't want to pay for a storage shed"
"hmm, well alright then" Arizona smiles, Jackie returns with the food, and they eat in silence.

Plopping down on the couch, Arizona let out a long sigh, she had taken the day off in case she had ended up drinking too much from the party, but instead ended up signing on the house and spending all day shopping. Too many different stores to count, but they got everything, wash cloths, and towels for the bathrooms. Dishes, and all the utensils, and such for the kitchen. Arizona made it her personal mission to find the best coffee pot out there. Teddy made the joke that the coffee pot cost more than the house. Causing the group to laugh, but Arizona loved her coffee. They had it set up to all be delivered the following day, although Arizona, and Callie both had to work, Teddy didn't start her job until the following week and Addie, had yet to find one. "so make sure you guys are at the house, by 10"
"we could always grab some sleeping bags and camp out there tonight" Addie says looking at Teddy.
"or you could just take the bedding that we just bought and use that" Arizona laughs
"hmm" Addie says still looking at Teddy "what do you say? Want to go spend the night in our new house?" as Teddy pretends to think about it Addie leans in close whispering "we could break it in"
"ok" Teddy says jumping up off the couch, causing everyone to laugh
"I knew that would get you" Addie winks "sit down I want to relax a bit" Teddy groans and sits back down, crossing her arms "you're too cute" Addie says placing a kiss on her cheek.
"so who is getting what room?" Teddy asks, she and Callie have both been silent about it.
"we haven't' talked about that have we" Arizona looks at Addie
"well I was thinking" Addie said meeting Arizona's eyes, "it's almost like there are two master bedrooms, the obvious one upstairs then the one in the basement" she pauses, seeing the understanding in Arizona's eyes "so" she shrugs, waiting to see if anyone would add anything. Callie breaks the silence "I really liked the view from the second room upstairs"
"I thought we could make that an office or something" Teddy says
"we have a den for that" Arizona says
"right" Teddy says shrugging
"we clearly didn't think this through" Addie laughs, looking at Arizona and Callie
"right" Arizona looks at Callie, who smiled and said "I wouldn't mind the basement, I would just want to make a few updates before we are sleeping down there though"
"oh like what?" Arizona asks
"like put a tub in" Callie smiles
"hmm" Arizona thinks for a moment
"plus there's that big open area where you can set up your music stuffs" Callie says
"ok" Arizona smiles "you guys get the upstairs master, for now we'll take the second room, until the work is done in the basement" as Arizona said those words a thought crossed her mind about making a recording studio down there, but she decides to not mention it. Not yet anyways, she made a mental note to talk to Brad to see exactly what she'd have to do. "so when they deliver the stuff tomorrow have them put our bed in the second room upstairs"
"sounds good" Addie smiles leaning her head on Teddy's shoulder, Arizona watches as Teddy wraps her arm around her, and places a kiss on top of red hair. She couldn't help but smile "that's so cute" Callie whispers
"I know" Arizona kissed Callie's cheek
"I love you" Callie turns her head
"I love you" Arizona says kissing her again, this time on the lips.
Should Teddy contact her aunt? I'm not entirely sure where that was going. I know the whole house thing happened quick and in reality it doesn't go that smooth but I wanted to get them living in it. If anyone has any ideas on what could happen let me know, I have some ideas but they're small ones. Thanks for reading :)
