Chapter 13
Arizona zipped the bag, taking a look around the room "I hope I have everything"
"if not we can buy it" Callie said reaching for the bag, they decided just to pack everything together and only take one bag "besides we'll only be gone a couple days. Arizona smiled, tossing the bag on the floor, and climbing into bed. "what time are you done tomorrow?" she asked as Callie climbed in.
"I can leave as soon as the show is over" Callie smiled
"ok" Arizona smiled "I'll leave at noon"
"ok" Callie smiled
"it's just over an hours drive, and we can't check in until after 3" Arizona said moving so she was laying on Callie's chest.
"we can stop for lunch, or an early dinner or whatever" Callie said stroking Arizona's hair.
"or whatever" Arizona laughed, moving her head so she could give Callie a kiss "good night my love"
"good night, I love you"
"love you too"

Arizona let out a frustrated groan, another artist had some rather stupid demands. In her opinion, if she had asked for even one of these things on this list she would never been signed. Tossing her pen onto her desk, Addie looked up "something wrong"
"I don't understand how people come up with this stuff"
"what do you mean"
"this contract I'm going over, she wants" she stopped "it's so stupid I can't even say it" she laughed
"let me see" Addie said standing up and walking to Arizona's desk, looking over her shoulder she let out a laugh "oh my god"
"I know" Arizona let out a sigh, seeing the time, she smiled "it can wait until Monday" she said reaching for her mouse to shut down the computer, she tucked the contract she was working on in a drawer, and put her pen back into it's holder, leaving her desk neat and clean, just the way she liked it. "make sure the office is locked when you leave please"
"I will" Addie smiled
"and try not to let my sister burn the house down, or wreck anything"
"oh trust me, she won't have time to do anything" Addie smiled
"oh you got big plans?" Arizona winked
"ones that involve not getting out of bed or putting clothes on" Addie smiled, causing Arizona to laugh, shaking her head "thanks for the visual"
"anytime" Addie winked "when you get back I'll give you details"
"um, no thanks, I'm good" the more time Arizona spent with Addie the more she loved her. In the short time they've been working together they've gotten close. Arizona was just reaching for her bag when there was a knock on the door, turning her attention to the door she saw April standing there "oh you're leaving"
"I am" she smiled
"oh right, you're weekend away with Callie" April smiled
"yup" Arizona said popping the P
"well I was just coming to gossip" April said
"gossip with Addie" Arizona said "maybe she'll tell you details about her weekend plans with my sister"
"um" April laughed, then shrugged "you want to grab lunch?" she asked looking at Addie, who smiled "sure why not" Addie said standing, Arizona shook her head saying "I'm out, see you Monday"
"have a good weekend" April called after her
"I plan on it" she said to herself as she made her way to the lobby, it was just passed noon, and as always Susan had the news on, "have a good weekend Susan" Arizona said as she past the front desk
"you too" Susan smiled not taking her eyes off the tv, Arizona glanced up seeing Callie sitting at the desk with her mom. She stopped to watch for a moment, smiling at the thought of having Callie alone for 2 days. "fancy meeting you here" Arizona closed her eyes hearing the voice that made her skin crawl "I do work here" Arizona said not taking her eyes off the tv.
"that you do" Erica said looking at the tv "she looks good in that color"
"look Erica, I don't know what you are trying to do but it isn't going to work" Arizona said turning her attention to the woman she couldn't stand
"what makes you think I'm trying to do anything?" Erica asked, not taking her attention off the tv "I've done nothing wrong"
"yeah ok" Arizona said through gritted teeth "look, I'm not going to tell Callie who she can be friends with, that's her decision, but I swear on everything that is holy, if you try and come between us, you will have to deal with a side of me that doesn't come out very often. I grew up with the name Arizona, I know how to fight"
"is that a threat?" Erica asked, turning to face Arizona
"no" Arizona said stepping closer to her lowering her voice "it's a promise. Leave. Callie. Alone"
"we'll see" Erica smiled, Arizona shook her head and walked away, trying to be the bigger person.
"everything alright here?" April asked, she and Addie were making their way to lunch when she spotted Arizona and Erica
"everything's great" Arizona said through gritted teeth, turned and walked away. stopping outside the door she looked back in, seeing both Addie and April say something to the blonde, then she stormed off. Arizona waited for her friends "what did you say to her"
"nothing" Addie smiled "have a good weekend" she winked and turned to cross the street. "April?" Arizona said
"as she said nothing, have a good weekend" she smiled and went after Addie. Arizona groaned and headed towards the parking lot. It was now going on 12:30. She had planned to have the car packed and everything ready to go, as soon as Callie got home and changed. By the time she pulled up into the driveway, she was down to a half hour before Callie would be home. Although they really wouldn't be in a hurry, the drive was just over an hour, and check in wasn't until 3, she found herself rushing around the house making sure she had everything. Reaching for the bag, she made her way down the stairs, hearing Callie's truck pull in, she smiled. That truck was Callie's baby, sometimes Arizona thought she loved it more than she loved her. "hey baby" Callie said after shutting the door "I'll get changed and we can head out" she placed a quick kiss on Arizona's lips as she passed her. Arizona smiled, as she took the bag to the car.

Fifteen minutes later they were on their way, the radio playing softly in the background as they drove. "have you given any thoughts to where you'd like to go for our honeymoon?" Arizona asked
"hmm" Callie said looking at her "not really, have you?"
"no" Arizona giggled "I guess I'm up for anything"
"can I make one suggestion though?" Callie said, seeing Arizona nod "I don't want to sound like a bitch, but can we make sure it's just the two of us? I mean I love Teddy and Addie but"
"I get it" Arizona smiled "I was thinking the same thing."
"good" Callie smiled, pulling out her phone, she typed something "how much are you wanting to spend?"
"I don't know, why?" Arizona asked as she changed lanes to pass a slow moving truck "well" Callie said trying to hide her smile "they have tornado chasing tours, and I'd really love to go on one"
"you want to spend our first week as a married couple chasing tornados?"
"I do" Callie smiled, Arizona looked over at her the smile on her face gave her butterflies "bookmark the page, and we'll look at it better later"
"you'd do that for me?" Callie asked, Arizona nodded "I love you" Callie said leaning over placing a kiss on Arizona's cheek.
"I love you" Arizona smiled

Following the directions on her phone Arizona pulled into a parking spot, "we'll were here"
"we made good time" Callie said looking at the clock,
"helps we left before the traffic hit" Arizona said turning off the car, pulling the keys out, she opened the door, and climbed out. She went around to the trunk pulling out the bag, tossing it over her shoulder she reached for Callie's hand as they made their way to the entrance. It was a small Inn, on the lake shore, Arizona held the door open for Callie, a little old lady sat behind a counter. "hello, you must be" the lady said not looking up from what Arizona assumed to be her ledger "Robbins, party of 2"
"yup" Arizona smiled setting the bag on the floor, the lady looked up "oh my gosh" she gasped "I thought I've heard the name before"
"yup it's me" Arizona smiled,
"and this must be your wife"
"fiancée" Callie smiled "Callie Torres" she held out her hand
"fiancée? Wife? Same difference" the lady laughed "if I could have you sign here" she said pointing to the paper, Arizona picked up the pen and signed, the lady then handed her a key. Causing both Arizona and Callie to hold back a giggle, it was an actual key, versus the cards you'd get from most hotels now days "alright you'll be in room 7, just go up those stairs" she pointed behind them "to the third floor, it'll be the first room on the right"
"thank you" Callie smiled reaching for the key
"if you need anything I'm Elene, either me or Frank, my husband will be here" she smiled
"thank you" Arizona said
"enjoy your stay" she smiled, Arizona reached down for the bag, putting the strap on her shoulder, and followed Callie up the stairs "I like this view" she laughed
"I knew I should have made you go first" Callie chuckled, Arizona reached up and smacked her ass, Callie let out a little squeal, and quickened her pace. Finding their room, she stopped causing Arizona to run into her. They both giggled, as Callie put the key in the lock, opening the door. Arizona went around her and set their bag on the king-sized bed. Callie went to the window, to look out, finding it was actually a door which led out to a deck, that overlooked the water. The deck went around the entire upper floor of the old house, there was a set of loungers, and a small table. Callie found herself smiling, this was going to be a great weekend. "what did you find out here" Arizona asked as she stepped out, and behind Callie "wow"
"yeah" Callie couldn't get anything else out, Arizona wrapped her arms around her, pulling her close, as she placed a kiss on Callie's cheek "so what would you like to do first?" Arizona asked, when she spoke her lips brushed Callie's ear "hmm, I don't know" Callie said putting her hands on Arizona's arms to wrap her tighter "I like this"
"me too" Arizona said, as she leaned her chin on Callie's shoulder. As they both took in the relaxing sound of the waves hitting the shore. Callie felt her heartrate quicken when Arizona began placing soft kisses on her neck. Turning around in Arizona's arms, she reached up pulling Arizona in for a passionate kiss, while pushing her back into the room. Both giggling when Arizona fell onto the bed, with Callie on top of her. Arizona reached up, brushing the hair out of Callie's face "you really are beautiful"
"so are you" Callie smiled, leaning down their lips meeting again. Callie let her hands roam Arizona's body, it had felt like forever since they'd been intimate. And she wanted nothing more than to make love to this amazing woman right now. Things were just starting to heat up, Callie was about to rip Arizona's shirt off when there was a knock at the door. "who the hell is that?" Arizona groaned
"I don't know" Callie said moving off Arizona running her hands down her shirt trying to brush out any wrinkles, as she pulled open the door "hello, I'm sorry to bother you"
"hello" Callie smiled
"Elene forgot to tell you that dinner is served at 6, if you're interested" the man said
"thank you, we'll keep that in mind" Callie smiled
"I'm Frank by the way" the man held out his hand
"Callie, and the blonde is Arizona"
"I'm familiar with Arizona Robbins" he smiled "well enjoy your stay" he nodded
"thank you" Callie smiled and shut the door. "that was Frank" Callie said walking back to the bed where Arizona hadn't moved from
"I heard" Arizona smiled reaching out for Callie, pulling her back down on top of her.

After the two had their fun in the room, they both showered and headed down for an amazing home cooked dinner. Turns out they were the only guest, so had the run of the place. The couple who owned the Inn, Frank and Elene had told them the story. The house was built in the early 1900's by Franks great great grandfather. And had been passed down in generations since. Franks parents are the ones who started the Inn back in the 50's or something. The couple had 4 kids, and 8 grand children, all under the age of 10. The stories that were told, had both girls laughing. After they bid their dinner companions goodnight, Arizona came out of the bathroom to find Callie sitting on the deck, staring off into space. "hey"
"oh, hey" Callie smiled, Arizona could see the smile didn't reach her eyes which was a tell tail sign something was on her mind. She leaned down kissing Callie softly, as Callie pulled her down "sit with me"
"ok" Arizona smiled as she made herself comfortable, after a few minutes and too many sighs, from Callie, for Arizona to count she finally said "what's up?"
"nothing" Callie let out in a sigh
"Calliope" Arizona said softly "I know when something is bothering you" Callie let out another deep sigh "have you given any thought to having kids?" this caught Arizona off guard, she shifted so she was a little more comfortable and could look at Callie "honestly" she started seeing Callie nod "I haven't"
"oh" Callie cut her off turning her head
"hey" Arizona reached up turning her head so she was looking at her again "I haven't' given any thought to it because, it wasn't something I thought I'd ever have to think about" she paused "I always thought I'd just get pregnant and it'd be a surprise"
"oh" Callie said
"do, do you want kids?" Arizona asked, seeing Callie nod "then I'll think about it" Arizona smiled
"seriously?" Callie asked looking at her
"Calliope, it's not that I don't want kids, the opposite actually, I just, before you I was" she paused trying to get the right words that wouldn't set her on a tangent for the rest of the night "it wasn't something I had to plan before, but now" she stopped talking wondering if any of what she was saying was making since. Looking into those brown eyes she loved "yes Callie I want to have kids" she smiled
"ok" Callie smiled, Arizona leaned in placing a kiss on her lips, pulling back she said "but I'd like to wait at least a year, and enjoy life just the two of us first"
"so we'll revisit this conversation in a year" Callie asked the sparkle was back in her eyes
"maybe less, I guess it depends" Arizona winked
"you think Teds and Adds will have kids?" Callie asked, Arizona laughed "can you see Teddy as a mom"
"um" Callie laughed "she'd be a fun mom honestly"
"I think she would be, and with everything she's been through she'd be amazing at it too"
"just like you" Callie said looking into those blue orbs
"you too" Arizona winked, then leaned in again, this time the kiss turned heated, and had Arizona straddling Callie in the chair.

The next morning Callie woke up with the sun, they had forgotten to close the curtains in the room, and the sun was shining right in her eyes. Groaning, as she tried to roll over, but was pinned down by Arizona laying almost on top of her, a smile graced her face. They had the kids talk last night, and Callie got the answer she had been hoping for. That Arizona eventually wants kids, Callie had always wanted to be a mom, but with her lifestyle she knew it'd be an expensive task. Moving her head as the sun had moved yet again and was now blinding her, she couldn't find a spot that was out of the suns rays. "stop moving" Arizona groaned, Callie let out a laugh "I would honey, but we forgot to close the curtains and the sun is" she no more than got the words out when Arizona lifted her head and was blinded "ugh, shut those" Callie had to laugh as Arizona pulled the sheet that had kept them warm through the night over her head. "let me up and I'll do that, I've also got to pee" Arizona let out a groan but rolled off Callie. Who quickly got up, and went to the window. As she was reaching for the curtain, she looked out onto the beach below, Frank and Elene we out walking hand in hand. Callie couldn't help but smile as she watched the older couple. Hearing a soft snore come from the bed, she let out a giggle knowing Arizona had fallen back to sleep. Shaking her head, she pulled the curtains shut, and made her way to the bathroom. When she came back out Arizona hadn't moved, Callie reached for the bag they had brought finding her basketball shorts and a shirt she pulled them on, making sure she had the key to the room, she quietly opened and shut the door, going in search of some coffee. It didn't take her long, as there was a big pot sitting in the dining room, she quickly filled two cups, making sure to add the ingredients that Arizona liked and grabbed a couple donuts. To Callie's amusement they had Arizona's favorite kind, she giggled to herself but remembered most of Arizona's favorite things are easily found on the internet, grabbing as many as she could handle, she made her way back to the room. Shutting the door quietly she set the items she had in her hands on the table, and turned towards the bed. A smile graced her face when blue eyes, still foggy from sleep, were staring at her. "where'd you go?" Arizona asked
"coffee" Callie smiled reaching for the cups, and handed one to her "and donuts?" the blonde perked up at hearing the mention of her favorite sugary treat. "oh, what kind?" Arizona smiled
"powdered sugar, you're favorite" Callie smiled
"where'd you find these" Arizona asked, as she sat up in bed
"oddly they had them sitting out downstairs" Callie smiled "but you'll have to get up I do not want to get powdered sugar in the bed"
"ugh" Arizona rolled her eyes playfully, taking a sip of her coffee, letting out a moan when the first taste hit her tongue, Callie couldn't help but smile. In her mind there was nothing more beautiful then a just awaken Arizona, her hair a mess. Smiling to herself, as Arizona plopped down in a chair, coffee in her hand. Moaning again when she took another sip "this is good"
"I'm glad you like it" Callie sat down in the other chair, watching as Arizona munched away on her donut, giggling when she got powdered sugar all over her face.
"you got a little" Callie leaned in with a napkin, and brushed some off Arizona's cheek, as her thumb met the warm skin of Arizona's face, their eyes met, both feeling the same jolt of electricity they felt when they first met. There was a twinkle in Arizona's blue orbs, as she smiled, her dimples on full display "I love you" she whispered
"I love you" Callie smiled back
Xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
The weekend went by too quickly, and it was now Sunday night, Arizona watched on as Callie did her nightly routine, of setting her clothes out for the next day. Having to be at work hours before the blonde, Callie had taken to picking out her clothes the night before. "you know" Callie said opening the dresser drawer "I love my job, I just hate that I have to get up so damn early"
"I know you do" Arizona said quietly
"all I really want to do is cuddle in bed with you"
"you didn't get enough of that this weekend?" Arizona smiled, Saturday afternoon hadn't quite gone as planned, when it started raining, so instead of walking hand in hand on the beach like Arizona wanted, they ended up naked in bed. "I could never have enough of that" Callie said, making her way to Arizona, wrapping her arms around her. Arizona smiled, as she placed her lips on Callie's. The weekend away had been just what the couple needed, they were back on track, nothing or no one could tear them apart. Arizona heard Callie let out a moan when their tongues touched, as the kiss deepened. Arizona pulled back slightly, "where I love where this is headed, I'm sore"
"I am too" Callie giggled, placing another kiss on Arizona's lips. "come on, it's passed my bedtime, and I need some more cuddles" Arizona smiled as she pulled Callie to the bed.
Hope this was to everyone's liking. I know it's short but I couldn't get my ideas out of my head and typed out. There's some time jumps ahead, as I want to move the story on. If anyone has and ideas for the wedding or honeymoon or anything please feel free to share, I'm running low on ideas lately. Thanks for reading hope everyone is doing well.
