It hits you like waves. Sometimes it's drowning ever so suffocating, sometimes it's just enough to pull you back in, and sometimes...sometimes it's so beautiful all you can do is sit back and watch in awe.
With this new information that Callie told her Arizona didn't know what to do. A part of her just wanted to turn around and run back to Callie. To be in her arms again, to love her and be loved by her. But a part of her was scared. She hurt Callie so much, she didn't want to do that again, have both of them go through all that pain again. And what about Sofia? She was older now, she couldn't do that to her. But Callie still loved her. That was worth something right? Did Callie want her back as much as she wanted Callie?
In that moment Arizona decided to just say screw it, she was going to get her girl back. She turned around and ran towards Callie. She put her hands on both of sides of her face and pulled her in and gave her a kiss trying to put all her passion and love through it. Callie was stunned but it didn't take long for her to kiss her back. Arizona was home to her.
They were too busy in the kiss to notice Alex and Meredith walking up around the corner. Meredith put her hand in front of Alex stopping him and putting her finger on her mouth to shush him. She whispered to him "let's see how this plays out" as she pulled him to hide behind the corner
When air became necessary Callie finally pulled back searching at Arizona's eyes. "Calliope I was an idiot. I am so sorry for everything I done to hurt you, to hurt our family. But I am tired of living with out you. I can't go another day holding this in. I need you and Sofia, that's all I need to be happy. I'm an idiot and it shouldn't have took me so long to realize this. But here I am laying it all out. I love you and I always will. You are it for me Calliope Torres. So can we please be a family again?"
"You may be an idiot but you'll always be my idiot" Callie says pulling her in for another kiss
From around the corner Alex jumps out whistling "woohooo go Robbins!"
"Finally!" Meredith yells out clapping
Callie and Arizona jump back from their kiss startled at the noise and they bust out laughing at their friends.
You think you have life all figured out. You think you have a plan and that when things are good, it'll always be good and go according to plan. But what's that saying? You make a plan and you hear God laughing. For now there was no plans. They had alot to talk about but they were just going to take it day by day. Try going with the flow for once, as a family. Life was finally starting to look up for them and they weren't going to take it for granted.
