Lena has her nose in files and spread sheets at L CORP busying herself with so much work she was so busy that she didn't even notice Kara fly in. " hey Lena what are you doing. " she startled Lena so much that she screamed and tossed some paper in the air but Kara caught them. " Kara you scared me. " Lena said putting a hand to her chest. " oh I'm sorry Lena. " Kara apologized.
" it's okay but what are you doing here and what are you doing flying in your normal clothes? " Lena asked noticing what Kara is wearing. " because I don't want to hide not from you. " Kara said.
" really Kara you mean that? " Lena asked softly.
" yes I do. " Kara said cupping Lena's cheek Lena leaned into Kara's hand closing her eyes and just relishing in her touch. Lena was done hiding her feelings for Kara she couldn't deny her love for the blonde reporter any longer.
" I love you Lena. " Kara pressed her lips to Lena's kissing her passionately and she kissed her back with just as much passion. When they broke the kiss Lena said. " i love you too Kara. "
they went and sat on the couch Lena sat down first then Kara sat in her lap side saddle style.
" Hey Kara will you be my girlfriend? " Lena asked.
" yes you don't know how long I've wanted you to ask me that. " Kara said. " probably as long as I have waited to ask you. " Lena retorted.
" so why did you come over to begin with originally babe?
" well I was gonna try to convince you to miss work today and come to the beach with me. " Kara explained.
" sure I'd love to. " Lena said smiling sweetly.
" really Lena. " Kara asked surprised. " of course darling you are the only one who can get me to do things like this babe. " Lena said and grabbed Kara by the shirt balling it up in her fist pulling her in and kissing her with Kara kissing her back.
" wow. " Kara said
" wow indeed. " Lena said
" lets go. " and they left together hand in hand.
