Hello. It's been a few months since my last appearance, hasn't it?
Well, I come bearing some good news, and many questions that I will require feedback for.
Important Announcements + Updates
To all my beloved readers of Danse Macabre, the update you have been awaiting is nigh. Expect the Prologue for the next arc to be out by tomorrow, while Chapter One (which has already been written) will be uploaded a week after.
However, before that, let me catch you up with the changes I'll be making or have already made to this fic series.

1) To make things convenient for ffnet readers, Danse Macabre remain be a single very long fic (instead of separating it into different fics for each arc, as I will be doing on AO3). Each arc will be separated by an interlude (for Arc One, that would be Interlude II), and each arc will have its own Prologue and Chapter One, Two, etc.

2) Also, as I'm sure all of you have realised, I started the fic with the end goal of Hadria/Tom, but Tom has no screen time at all in the first arc, and so I'm considering removing the pairing, as I cannot say for sure if that's still happening. Do let me know your opinions on this. But first, let's clarify some things.
a. If I'm pairing Hadria with anyone in the main fic, it's Tom. Don't bother suggesting anyone else.
b. But if I do pair them… Disclaimer: I'm a 25-turning-26-year-old with no experience in romance or anything at all (I've never even had a crush, so.)
c. The main question is, if I don't label the fic with this pairing but they end up together later on, feels like I should warn readers ahead of time, no? Vice versa, if I label the fic with the pairing, and nothing happens… Feels a bit like baiting, no?

3) And about those latin quotes I've been putting at almost every chapter of Danse Macabre? I realise I spend too long trying to find one that fits (but sometimes, if fate and luck allows, I find one very quickly), so, feedback time.
I'm thinking of expanding my selection to all quotes in any language from any source. But if y'all don't care either way, I could also drop the chapter quote business entirely. Let me know, what do you think?

4) Last but not least, I will be (slowly) rewriting the first few chapters of Danse Macabre's first arc. It won't be a major rewrite, I think. The content will stay more or less the same, so old readers, rest assured, this is just a heads up, in the event you reread it and actually notice differences.

P.S. This chapter will not be removed until Arc 2 Chapter 4 is out (i.e. the fifth chapter in the arc, if you include the Prologue). But I expect I'll have sufficient feedback by then to remove this. So, bear with me. For a while.
