A/N: So... yeah... Sorry for the hella long wait...

First of all, this story is far from dead. I just haven't had that writing itch during the last couple of years with everything that's gone on, and I can't apologise enough for the unscheduled hiatus. I managed to get myself back into it in the last couple of weeks and I hope it was worth the wait for all of you.

Just a quick heads up before you start reading the story itself. I've decided to fit in some 'lemons' into this chapter, so if you don't wish to read the offending smut in this chapter, I've marked where it begins and ends for your convenience.

Also, I'll still be updating my other story, 'Handling my Homestay's Libido' so expect the next chapter of that story soonish, hopefully.

It had been nearly two weeks since the attack on the Sno Ball Inn. Yuuto and Vee were currently packing up their things, ready to move out of his apartment. With some help from Hikari, the blonde hybrid and his dullahan girlfriend had managed to find an apartment to move into together, residing in the same apartment complex where his younger sister lived. The MON agent and slime pair were just boxing up the last of their possessions, though during this Yuuto couldn't help but think back on the House Beelzebub attack a couple of weeks prior. It had been the worst incident MON had been through to date, with Kestria and Doppel both coming very close to being killed. Hell, Yuuto himself was surprised he survived the whole ordeal still in one piece, despite earning himself a new scar on his right shoulder. The blonde paused for a moment as he raised his left hand to rub over his still aching shoulder. He couldn't get his mind past how intense the fighting was, the lives he took and the duel to the death with Azion Beelzebub, not to mention the vengeful threat from the commander's son. These thoughts continued to swirl through his mind as his mood worsened, unable to push himself free of them.

"Yuuto?"

Yuuto glanced down to his side to see Vee looking up at him with concern in her gelatinous yellow eyes. The hybrid gave her a forced smile and started to pat her head in an attempt to alleviate her worries. "Hey, it's okay, Sweetie. I just got some stuff on my mind right now."

The slime didn't give him a verbal response, instead, she extended her feeler up towards his face and placed the tip of it against his forehead to his surprise, just like when she did when they first met. Almost instantly Vee was able to read his most recent thoughts, his worries and the most recent traumas caused by the House Beelzebub attack. After a moment she removed her feeler from his forehead before she pressed herself against his chest and wrapped her arms and tendrils around his torso tightly, burying her face into his chest as she tried her best to comfort him.

The blonde gave her a more genuine smile at her act and wrapped his arms around her comfortingly, knowing that she saw what he had been through. "You are the sweetest thing sometimes, I'm sorry you had to see all that horrible stuff." He apologised as he raised a hand to pat the top of her head once more.

Vee merely smiled to herself and let out a joyous giggle as she started nuzzling her cheek against his chest. "It's okay." The pair stayed like this for some time before Vee eventually broke away from the hug and looked up at him, giving the hybrid the most adorable smile imaginable. "You feeling better?"

Yuuto couldn't help but give her his widest grin in return. "Much better now." He replied before he went to pat the slime girl's head once more, earning a joyous giggle from her. "Anyway, we'd better get back to packing the rest of our stuff. Hikari and Raia will be here any minute now."

The blonde then removed his hand from Vee's head as she looked up at him and gave him a mock salute, "Okay!"

The pair went back to packing the rest of their things, though this didn't last very long as soon they heard a quick series of raps against the front door of the apartment. "Hey, Yuu-nii! It's me!" They heard Hikari shout from the other side of the door.

"It's open!" Yuuto yelled back as he was taping one of the boxes shut.

The door quickly swung open as both Hikari and Raia made their way inside the apartment. "Sorry for the intrusion~!" The younger blonde exclaimed in a sing-song tone.

"I hope we haven't caught you at a bad time," The mummy added as she followed Hikari in.

Vee looked over at the blonde woman and her eyes widened like saucers as she started running towards her. "Hikari!" She exclaimed in joy as a wide smile crossed her face.

Hikari quickly made her way to the orange slime and got down on her knees as the pair wrapped their arms around each other tightly. "Vee! I missed you so much!" She exclaimed as the pair started nuzzling their cheeks against one another, Vee letting out joyous giggles the entire time.

Yuuto stood to his feet and glanced over towards his undead squadmate, giving her a smirk. "You girls timed it pretty well; we're just about done packing."

Raia gave him a warm smile as she made her way over to her squad captain. "Good to hear." She replied as she wrapped her arms around him and pulled him into a hug, which the hybrid reciprocated. "I can't believe you're moving out already."

"To be fair, Lala and I have been planning this for a while now," Yuuto said as he pulled away from the hug. "It had to happen sooner or later."

The mummy nodded in agreement. "True, but it's going to be quiet here without you around."

The hybrid couldn't help but quirk an eyebrow at her. "You do realise that Zee and Trouble will still be here, right?"

The undead woman chuckled to herself at his remark. "You make an excellent point, Medjay."

As the pair were chatting, Hikari and Vee were about done with their nuzzling session as the blonde woman stood to her feet once more, her eyes still locked with those of the young slime ward. "You excited about moving in with your Big Sis today~?"

Vee pumped both her fists and her tendrils as she gave Hikari her brightest smile "Yeah, I'm super excited!" She exclaimed joyously.

Yuuto turned his attention towards the orange slime. "I know we've already discussed this, but are you sure you want to move in with Hikari and Mireille? You're more than welcome to stay with me and Lala if you want to."

Vee looked up at the hybrid and shook her head in response. "I'm sure. I really want to spend more time with Hikari, plus, I know you and Lala would want some private time together." She replied innocently, unaware of the trouble she's just caused for him.

Hikari's face immediately went bright red at the mention of 'private time' between Lala and her brother. "Oh, wow. Private time, huh?" She said in an embarrassed tone. "Well, you two are a couple after all."

Raia couldn't help but give her captain a smug grin as she locked eyes with him. "Oh, do tell, Medjay. Please don't spare any details." She said to him in a seductive yet teasing tone.

The hybrid was annoyed by the mummy's sudden teasing and subconsciously triggered his devil mode, now staring back at her with his now furrowed red slit eyes as chaos energy sparked across his body. "Oh no, we're not playing this game right now." He complained as his voice became distorted by the chaotic energy. "These boxes aren't going to move themselves."

The mummy placed a hand over her lips in a vain attempt to suppress herself from chuckling at his reaction. "There's no need to be such a buzzkill; I was merely teasing."

This did little to lessen Yuuto's annoyance, though he thought it best not to say anything else on the matter. They still needed to take all the boxes they'd packed out of the apartment in a timely fashion. They also needed to go over to the Kurusu residence to pick up Lala and her belongings.

"Alright," The hybrid started as he placed a box on top of another and lifted them both up with ease. "we'd better start getting these boxes into the moving van. The landlord is expecting us to be at the new apartment in an hour."

"Okay!" Vee exclaimed as she started making her way towards the sink. "I just need to make myself bigger first!"

"It shouldn't take us more than a couple of trips to get everything in the van," Raia added as she used some of her wrappings to lift a couple of boxes before grasping them under her arms, the boxes themselves still secured tightly by the wrappings.

Hikari picked up a single box as she looked towards her brother. "Yuu-nii, Asano-san asked if you could leave the apartment key card at reception once you're done moving stuff out."

"I was going to anyway, but thanks for the reminder,"

Vee, now in her adult form quickly made her way to the coat hangers to put on her raincoat and rain boots before she went back to pick up a couple of boxes with her tendrils. "Okay, I'm ready to go!"

With that, the group started to make their way out of the apartment though Yuuto paused for a moment as he looked around the apartment. He had only been living here for a few months up to this point, but a great deal had happened in such a short time. Memories soon started flooding back to him, Doppel's and Zombina's prank on him on his first night here, the first time he met Vee when she showed up in his sink randomly, his confession to Lala and many more happy moments that took place in here.

Vee looked back at him, noticing that he hadn't moved. "Yuuto, are you okay?" The slime asked in a somewhat worried tone.

Yuuto locked eyes with her for a moment before he shook his head. "I'm fine, it's just that a lot has happened in here since I moved in."

A smile soon crept onto the slime girl's lips. "Like when we first met?"

The blonde couldn't help but chuckle at her question. "Like I could forget that, Sweetie. It's not every day you find your sink filled with orange sentient goo."

Vee giggled to herself at his remark. "I'm glad I met you, Yuuto." She said to him as she gave him her most adorable smile.

Yuuto smiled back at the cute slime girl. "I'm glad I met you too. Now come on, we'd better get a move on."

"Okay,"

With that, the pair started making their way out of the apartment once more. Yuuto paused at the front door and grabbed hold of the door handle with his free hand as he looked back at the apartment one last time. "So long." He muttered to himself as he closed the door behind him. For him, it felt like the end of one chapter in his life, and his life living with Lala was merely the beginning of a new chapter.

At the Kurusu residence, Lala had just packed away the last of her figurines, the Lisara Restall figure that she had gotten from her first date with Yuuto. She recalled the events that transpired that day, it had been a nice day until the events that led to Yuuto's kidnapping, though it did eventually lead to her boyfriend's awakening of his demonic powers and the solidification of their relationship thanks to his hybrid status. She looked over her room to see if she had missed anything. That's when she noticed the small grim reaper plushie that her Love had got her, with Manako's help of course.

A warm smile graced her lips as she walked over to it and picked up the treasured plushie with both hands before holding it to her chest as her cheeks blushed bright red. "Do nay fret, little one. We shall find ye a place in our new sanctum soon enough." She said to it before she walked back to one of the boxes and placed it inside.

Just then someone had started knocking on her bedroom door. "Hey, it's me! Can we talk?!" She heard Miia yell from outside her room.

The young reaper was surprised by her lamian housemate's sudden request. The pair hadn't interacted with one another that much during her time staying here, not that they had any ill will towards each other, they just didn't have much in common to bond over. Nonetheless, Lala saw no reason to turn the redhead away, seeing as she had pretty much finished packing her belongings.

"I grant ye permission tae enter me sanctum, Serpent," Lala replied in usual chuunibyou fashion as she stood to her feet and struck a pose.

Miia wasted no time as she slithered into the dullahan's room and shut the door behind her with the tip of her tail. "Eccentric and flamboyant as always I see." She teased as she smirked at her soon-to-be former housemate.

Lala pouted at the redhead whilst furrowing her eyebrows and letting out a groan, unamused by the comment. "Ye would do well tae nay anger this spectre o' Death if ye value yer mortal soul…"

Her housemate quickly let out a giggle at the response before giving her a warm smile "Oh, don't be like that, Lala. I just wanted to check up on you." She said just before she glanced away, her smile replaced with a look of melancholy. "It might be the last chance we get to talk."

The young reaper was surprised by this subtle shift in mood from the redhead, seeing that the lamia's mood swings were usually quite sudden and erratic, especially when it came to poor Kimihito. "…If ye wish tae give yer parting words tae me, then I will nay deny ye this chance tae do so…" Lala replied as she dropped her pose and took a seat on her now bare bed.

Miia merely returned a smile to the dullahan as she slivered up to the bed and took a seat next to Lala. "Don't mind if I do." She said in a cheerier tone as she scooted up right next to her, much to the young reaper's embarrassment. "I bet you must be super stoked about finally moving in with Yuuto-kun."

Lala blushed at the comment, despite the smile that was creeping onto her lips. "Aye, it has felt like an eternity since it was prophesied, but I am glad that it is finally coming tae pass."

Miia couldn't help but giggle at the response. "Well, I'm happy for both of you. I'd kill to be able to do the same with Darling."

"I would nay fret," The young reaper replied. "Out of all the wards that reside in this sanctuary, I believe ye have the greatest chance at forming an unbreakable union with Kurusu."

It was now Miia's turn to be surprised by the dullahan as her eyes widened like saucers. "Wait, you honestly think so?"

Lala smirked back at her lamian housemate. "Call it intuition or call it fate, but ye've shown the greatest growth out o' anyone since me arrival tae this plane and ye've shown the greatest care in regards tae our host as o' late. Ye may yet be able tae form yer eternal bond with Kimihito."

Miia was gobsmacked by what she was hearing from the young reaper. Up until now, all the other girls in the Kurusu household had been vying for their host's affections, even getting into fights with each other over it. But for the first time since coming here, someone had encouraged her to pursue Kimihito without any ulterior motive, going as far as to say that she had the best odds of finding happiness with him. Before the redhead had realised it, streams of tears started to trickle from her eyes and down her scaled cheeks.

Lala was surprised by the lamia's sudden waterworks, fearing that she might've upset her. "M-Me apologies, Miia! It was nay me intension tae-!"

"It's okay…" Miia interjected as she started wiping away the tears with the back of her hand with a smile on her face. "…It's just… that's the nicest thing any of you girls has ever said to me…" Unable to hold back her emotions any longer, the lamia suddenly wrapped her arms around the young reaper and pulled her into a tight hug as she cried tears of joy. "I'm going to miss you so much, Lala!"

"…Miia, I-"

"You don't have to say it!" The redhead cut her off. "Just knowing that you care is all I can ask for!" She shouted as tears continued to trickle down her face.

"I am trying tae seek yer aid at this time," Lala replied with a hint of annoyance.

Miia was initially confused by the comment, but that's when she realised that what she heard wasn't from next to her head like she was expecting, instead it came from behind from where she was seated. The lamia froze solid as she realised that Lala's head had fallen from her shoulders once again, probably when she'd pulled her housemate into their current embrace.

"Do nay fret, Miia." Lala tried to calm her down, knowing about her fear of dismemberment. "Ye are able tae return me tae me full strength with nay worry o' moving from yer current position. Ye only have tae look tae yer lineage."

"My lineage?" The lamia thought to herself in confusion. She then glanced towards her tail still resting on the bedroom floor. "Oh, of course. Duh."

"My tail. got it." She eventually replied before moving the tip of her tail towards the bed. "Just hold still for a second."

Lala groaned in annoyance, knowing that her head wasn't going anywhere without her housemate's assistance. It didn't take Miia long to wrap her tail around the dullahan's head and lift it with ease back towards her body, all without looking at the girl's exposed cross-section. Eventually, she gently placed Lala's head back on her body.

"There you go!" She exclaimed as she quickly pulled away from Lala, though she was amused by her current sight, as it turned out that her head was currently facing the wrong way. Miia did try her best to stifle her giggling, but she was failing miserably.

Lala groaned in annoyance once more as she twisted her head around so it was facing forward once more. "I suppose ye were mostly successful in yer endeavours tae restore me power."

By this point, Miia was lying on her side letting out an uproar of laughter. "It's probably a good thing that Yuuto-kun wasn't here to see this!" She answered whilst still laughing to herself.

Much to her surprise, Lala couldn't help be start laughing along with the lamia at such a scenario. She believed that this was the first time she ever laughed at anything since coming here.

The pair were soon interrupted as the bedroom door opened before Papi and Suu rushed in and quickly made their way towards the young reaper. "Lala!" They exclaimed in unison.

Lala and Miia were caught off guard by the harpy and slime pair's sudden arrival, though before either of them could react, Papi and Suu ran up to the dullahan and wrapped their wings and arms respectively around her chest tightly, as well as press their cheeks against hers.

"L-Little ones," The young reaper started with slightly reddened cheeks caused by the pair's sudden affections. "What troubles ye so?"

Not long after, Kimihito quickly made his way into the bedroom, presumably chasing after Papi and Suu. "Sorry about them, Lala. Guess they couldn't wait to say goodbye to you."

After a moment, both Papi and Suu loosened their grip on her and looked her in the eyes.

"Papi doesn't want you to go! Papi really likes playing with you!" The harpy exclaimed as tears started streaming down her face.

"Do you have to go?" Suu asked with a solemn look on her face.

Lala was a little saddened that they were this upset about her imminent departure, but she refused to miss out on this chance to be with her one true Love. "Aye, I must take leave from this plane o' existence. Me Love waits fer me and I canna let this good fortune slip through me grasp."

Papi and Suu looked even more downtrodden after hearing those words, leaving a pang of guilt in the young reaper. In an attempt to comfort the pair, she raised her hands and placed them atop their heads, much to their surprise.

"Do nay fret," The young reaper started as she looked to them with a smile on her face. "This will nay be the last time ye see this spectre o' Death. I will make efforts tae frequent here when the Fates allow it."

The blue-haired harpy was confused by the dullahan's statement. "Huh? Papi doesn't understand."

"She's saying that she'll come to visit us," Suu explained to her feathered friend.

"Wait, really?!" Papi exclaimed, now beaming up at the blue-skinned girl.

"Aye, I promise ye that much."

Without hesitation, Papi wrapped herself around Lala tightly once more as Suu did the same. Lala couldn't help but smile to herself as she continued to comfort the pair.

Kimihito just watched on with a smile on his face as Miia subtly slithered up to his side and rested her head against his shoulder, smiling contently to herself. "This is so cute; it makes you want to have kids of your own someday." The lamia said quietly to her host with slightly reddened cheeks.

The human in question was embarrassed by the comment as he looked away from his homestay, his cheeks already bright red. "I suppose that would be nice…"

Miia's smile only grew bigger as she grasped his hand and wrapped her other arm around his nearest arm whilst lightly wrapping the end of her tail around his waist, not wanting to let him escape as she started to nuzzle her cheek against his shoulder lovingly. "Oh, Darling. I think you'd make a great daddy someday."

Kimihito was too embarrassed to respond as he rubbed the back of his head nervously.

Without warning, Lala's phone pinged loudly, much to the surprise of the group. Papi and Suu sat to the sides of the dullahan as she hurriedly pulled it out and read the message from Yuuto displayed on the screen.

Hey Lala, we've just got here. We'll start bringing your things to the moving van soon x

The young reaper was ecstatic as she quickly stood to her feet, careful not to let her head fall from her shoulders. "Me Love has arrived in our domain. We should make haste in emptying these chambers o' me possessions."

Papi and Suu quickly jumped to their feet at her request. "Papi wants to help!" The harpy squawked.

"Me too!" The slime girl added.

"Alright then," Kimihito started as he separated himself from his lamian homestay, much to her disappointment. "Let's help Lala get her things downstairs then."

"Okay!" The harpy and slime pair responded joylessly as they picked up a box each.

"Be careful, Little ones," Lala warned with some worry. "Some o' these artefacts are fragile and precious tae me, so carry them with the greatest o' care."

"Don't worry, I'll make sure they're careful," Miia said to her as she picked up one box with her hands and another with the end of her tail before directing her attention towards the harpy and slime pair. "You heard Lala, be extra careful now."

"We will!" Papi and Suu replied in unison.

As the three liminals left the room, the young reaper was about to pick up a box herself before Kimihito grabbed her attention. "Hey, Lala, have you got a minute?"

The dullahan looked over to the human with a puzzled look on her face. "Is something the matter, Kurusu?"

"I just wanted to say that I know you haven't been here for that long, but I wanted you to know that myself and the girls enjoyed having you here. And…" Kimihito sighed to himself as he placed a hand over his face. "…I can't believe I'm about to do this…" He muttered to himself despairingly.

Lala grew more confused by his behaviour.

She wouldn't have to wait long as the human suddenly struck a strange pose, similar to one of her own. "As the vestige of the once great Unholy Chosen, I wish you, fellow dweller of the shadows great fortune in your future endeavours. I've known the mortal known as Yuuto Kazama for some time now. He is a good man and he will take care of you in your darkest times." He said to her in chuunibyou fashion.

Lala was surprised by the sudden performance from her former host, but she soon smirked to herself as she struck a pose of her own. "It is good that ye have finally revealing yerself, Unholy Chosen. I thank ye fer yer great counsel during me time here in this realm and fer yer kind words."

Kimihito couldn't help but smile back at the young reaper. "La jodaso stiana, young Spectre of Death, and dark blessings upon you and the young Demon Knight." He said to her before dropping the pose with an embarrassed look on his face, now groaning to himself. "…I can believe I let Yuuto talk me into doing that again…"

Lala giggled to herself momentarily at how persuasive her Love could be at times, but she soon calmed herself down and walked up to Kimihito before she wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him into a tight hug, much to his surprise. "Thank ye, Kimihito. I will nay forget the kindness ye've shown me here."

Kimihito's cheeks went bright red at the sudden affection from the normally distant dullahan, nevertheless, he returned the hug. "Take care of yourself, Lala, and keep an eye on Yuuto for me, will you?"

"Aye, ye have me word as spectre o' Death."

After a moment, Lala broke off from the hug and proceeded to pick up one of the boxes in the room. "Now let us make haste, I do nay wish to keep me Love waiting."

"Right behind you," Kimihito replied as he picked up one of the other remaining boxes and the pair soon made their way out of the room.

Sometime later, the moving van was making its way towards Yuuto's and Lala's new apartment. It was a tight squeeze in the front of the van with Raia driving, Hikari in the middle with Vee in her blob form sat on her lap, and Yuuto in the side passenger seat with Lala sat on his lap with her arms wrapped tightly around him, not that he was complaining about the position he was in. Hikari would occasionally glance over at her brother and smirk at him, something that had failed to escape his notice.

"What?" He asked as he quirked an eyebrow at her.

"Oh, it's nothing." His sister replied with an innocent smile. "It just seems like you're enjoying yourself over there."

"It certainly does, Medjay," Raia added with a smirk plastered on her face. "Try not to enjoy yourself too much though, I'm sure you and Lala will have plenty of time to do that later." She added in a suggestive tone.

Yuuto furrowed his eyebrows at the pair as he instinctively triggered his devil mode. "Can't I go one day without someone taking a jab at me? Even you girls must get tired of it once in a while."

"But it's just too enjoyable to tease you though." The mummy replied whilst trying to keep a straight face.

"I'd say it's fair, considering all the times you teased me while we were growing up," Hikari added with a sense of satisfaction.

The older hybrid merely groaned to himself as sparks of chaos energy coursed around his body.

"Do nay fret yerself over mere words, me Love." Lala started as she placed a hand on his cheek and caressed it. "I am certain that they are jealous o' the affection we show each other." She added before planting a kiss on his other cheeks, which calmed him down enough to return to his normal state.

Yuuto's cheeks went red at the affection he was receiving from his girlfriend.

Hikari pouted to herself as she held Vee tight to her chest, much to then slime's delight. "Hey, it isn't like I'm not trying to find a boyfriend you know. It's been busy for me between work at the restaurant and looking after Mireille, that's all."

"And you're already aware of my reasons, Medjay," Raia added with reddened cheeks.

The younger hybrid quirked an eyebrow at the mummy. "What reasons would those be then?"

"Don't ask," Yuuto cut in for his squad mate's sake. "It would take too long to explain."

Hikari was initially puzzled by her brother's comment, though she soon decided not to pursue this conversation any further if neither Raia nor Yuuto wanted to speak further on it. "Fair enough, we're nearly at the apartment complex anyway."

"Hikari, you said kids are living at the apartment complex, right?" Vee asked as she looked up curiously at her new roommate.

Hikari couldn't help but beam down at the orange slime. "Yeah, I bet you'll make a bunch of friends there."

"Awesome!" Vee exclaimed as she bobbed up and down excitedly in Hikari's lap.

"Speaking of friends," Yuuto cut in suddenly. "I'm kind of surprised that none of the girls decided to see me off. I'm sure I told them I was moving today."

"…Yeah, about that…" His sister replied nervously as she rubbed the back of her head.

Yuuto and Lala looked at her quizzically but neither of them would have time to respond as Raia turned the van down the street where the apartment complex was situated. The building itself was only two stories tall, big enough to house ten apartments in total. It also had a small grassy area to the side which was lined with neatly trimmed hedges. The group also noticed that three liminal women were waiting by the small wall next to the entrance to the apartment complex, all of whom they knew very well. Zombina and Blare were waving their arms frantically at them whilst Kestria, who was sitting on the wall, raised a wing in acknowledgement at the group.

Yuuto sighed to himself at the sight of the trio. "I should've known they'd try and ambush me here."

"I canna say I am surprised by their actions at this point," Lala replied.

"Well, I can't blame them for wanting to give you a surprise welcome, Yuu-nii," Hikari commented with a smile on her face.

"I'm sure we can persuade them to help bring your belongings into the apartment at least," Raia added with a sinister grin on her face.

"If anyone can persuade them, it's you," Yuuto replied with no doubt in his mind that the mummy would get them to work without question.

Raia soon pulled the van up to the curb and the group got themselves out of the vehicle. Zombina and Blare wasted no time as they went up to meet with the group.

"Ya guys took your sweet ass time getting here." The redhead said with her signature grin.

"Yeah, we were starting to worry something might've happened to you," Blare added with a sense of relief.

Lala instinctively struck one of her chuunibyou poses for the pair. "Do ye think we'd be so easily impeded by the perils o' this city?"

Eisheth giggled to herself at his reaction. "I don't blame you for relieving yourself of stress after what you've been through lately. In fact, if I were able to, I would've gladly assisted you in doing so." She added with a seductive look on her face.

He looked back at the pureblood devil and furrowed his eyebrows at her. "As I keep telling you, I've already got a girlfriend." He replied in an annoyed tone.

"Oh, come now, Dagon. It's not uncommon for devils to have multiple spouses. Surely, there must be others you hold deep feelings for apart from the dullahan."

A blush took hold of his cheeks again at what she said. Of course, there were other people he cared for, some of them making it obvious that they had feelings for him, but it didn't mean he could have romantic feelings for them, especially since he was already with Lala, right?

He turned around and leant his back against the railing of the balcony as he rested his elbows on top of it. "Polygamy isn't exactly looked upon fondly in most human cultures, especially here in Japan."

"Any why should you hold yourself to humanity's standards?" Eisheth questioned as she stood herself in front of the hybrid. "You have demonic blood running through your veins, it wouldn't hurt to embrace your demonic desires." She added as she pressed her chest against his and placed her hands over his arms.

Yuuto broke eye contact with her once more. "It's not that simple."

She smirked at him at his dismissive words. "It's only the case because you make it difficult for yourself." With that, she planted a kiss on his cheek before stepping away from the half-breed once more. "Just think upon what I've said, I'm sure those other girls whose hearts you've captured would appreciate you giving them the same chance you've given that reaper." She said as her cheeks went bright red.

Yuuto started to feel awkward as he dwelled on the subject of polygamy and decided it was a good time to change topics. "I'm sorry I couldn't train with you today. I know you've taken a great deal of time out of your schedule to help me get a grasp of my chaos powers."

"It's quite alright, Dagon. You've had other matters to attend to. And besides, it's the least I can do for you after you and your friends protected me from the House Beelzebub attack."

"I was just doing my job, Ei. But I do appreciate you helping me out like this."

The elder devil gave him a warm smile once more. "I'm glad that I'm appreciated at least. Anyway, I presume you'll be able to resume your training tomorrow?"

Yuuto nodded in response. "Yeah, I managed to sort out most of the things I needed to do today. Plus, I've got a couple more days off before I'm back at work."

"Excellent." With that, she unfurled her wings and flew back down to the lawn area below as the blonde watched her do so. "Then I will see you tomorrow. Take care, Dagon."

"You too, Ei" He replied as he waved her off.

She soon manifested another magic circle with her chaos energy and within a matter of moments, she disappeared before the magic circle dissipated from where it had formed.

Yuuto sighed to himself as he was left to his thoughts once more. He certainly had a lot to think about between how to improve with his demonic powers and his less than simple love life, especially now with an elder devil trying to capture his affections. He let out a yawn and realised that staying up to try and wrap his head around the problem wouldn't do him much good. He thought it better to rest his mind and body for now, as well as enjoy his time with his precious girlfriend. With that, he walked back into his apartment to leave his worries behind for now. Only time would tell what the future had in store for him.
