If you are interested in Harry Potter then please read my other fic Hadrian Potter and Master of Death which is also being updated.

So, without further ado, I present Hadrian Potter And The Deathly Avenger.

Chapter 1 – The Start of A New Adventure

Hadrian James Potter, son of James and Lily Potter, Lord of Most Ancient and Noble House of Potter and Peverell and most importantly, The Master of Death stepped out of a portal onto a beach which was empty of people with a backpack which contained a shrunk trunk, a photo album, clothes and other personal possessions and a beautiful blue and white coloured phoenix on his shoulder.

He looked back at the portal which was closing and looked one last time at the portrait of the Founders in the Chamber of Secrets and whispered, "Goodbye" as the portal closed.

Harry looked like he was twenty-three years old and he had messy raven black hair and emerald green eyes. His face was aristocratic with high cheekbones and a lightning bolt scar on his forehead. He was quite tall at 6'1'' and looked extremely fit with his muscles and abs. Harry had worn a white t shirt and a jacket with jeans.

He radiated pure magical power and confidence. With the power of the Deathly Hallows, Harry could easily perform wandless magic with the most complex of spells. He was more powerful than Dumbledore and Voldemort.

Harry flicked his fingers and cast a spell for the time, date and area. Words appeared in the air which read

Manhattan Beach,

Manhattan, New York

United States of America

Harry looked around the beach and saw that there were no people on the beach. "Go and enjoy this world Hedwig." He softly said to the beautiful phoenix. Hedwig trilled and flew into the air and disappeared in a flash of blue flames. Harry thought that it would be better for him to go to a hotel and rent a room for some days. He walked to the main street and saw a hotel. Entering the hotel, he made his way to the receptionist and asked for a room for the next three days.

"Hello, I would like to rent a room for the next week." Harry asked politely.

"Do you have a reservation with us?" asked the lady at the front desk.

"I'm afraid I don't." he admitted.

"How many people are going to be arriving with you or are you alone?" she asked.

"I'm by myself. Just a single room would do." Harry said. The lady nodded and typed on her computer.

"We do have a room available. It will cost you over one thirty a night." she informed him.

"That's fine. Put me for two nights." Harry said and pulled out the required cash.

"Your room is seven hundred and ten on the seventh floor. Please enjoy your stay with us." she said, a polite smile on her face as she handed him the key. Harry took it and walked to the elevator. He walked out of the elevator on the seventh floor and opened his room. It was a pretty simple room with a single bed and TV, a bathroom, a kitchen and a balcony which overlooked the city.

The first thing Harry did was to lock the door go to sleep as he was extremely tired from the portal he had created. The portal creation was magically exhausting and Harry knew that he would be out like a light for some hours.

At 1:36 p.m. Harry woke up feeling refreshed after a nice nap and went about his bathroom duties. After a shower, he went down to eat some lunch and ate some sandwiches from the restaurant nearby. Harry had to admit that it tasted pretty good especially the cheesesteak. Harry paid for the lunch and went out into the city.

Harry walked into a internet café. Just after entering the café Harry found that the computers were different from the ones in his world. The computers here were not big, bulky and box shaped contraptions as he remembered. They were slim and sharp and easily portable. Upon logging in the computer, Harry found out that they were much faster than his cousin's.

Harry was extremely thankful that he had the knowledge of how the computer works by messing in Dudley's computer and that he had not renounced technology like many Muggleborns and Muggle raised who entered the Wizarding World.

Harry quickly noted down the real estate agent's number for a house in a notepad and also looked up for a place to sell gold. He could use some money and her knew that Galleons were pure gold.

Harry also knew that in the magical world, 1 Galleon was equal to 5 Pounds or 6 Dollars. But since, he was going to exchange pure gold in the muggle world, he could get a higher price and profit.

Harry first went to a pawn shop, with the words 'We Buy Gold' displayed in the front window. He went into the shop and found a lady in the shop.

"Hello, I am here to make a sale. Can you help me?"

"Oh, you're English! I love your accent. And of course I will help you sir."

"What you can give me for these?" Harry said with a charming smile as he withdrew a pouch of Galleons and took out one of the coins.

"Is this pure?" the young lady asked as she took the coin to be weighed.

"As far as I know. I don't know where my family got them, but they are useless to me in their current form." Harry lied easily. He knew that they were pure gold and wanted to avoid having to try and explain what the images and words on them meant. Fortunately he had remembered to remove the protections on the coins. Pure gold is quite malleable after all and without them the coins would deform quite quickly.

Harry continued chatting amiably with the teller and soon found that one of his coins was worth more than he expected. When he gave her the rest of the coins, her eyes bulged. But she went to work testing all of them, muttering about how it's a miracle they are still in such good condition. Most collectors keep coins in separate containers to keep them in mint condition. Harry didn't care what they looked like. He wanted spending money. He never liked relying on the kindness of others or feeling indebted to them.

He was soon handed a wad of cash, which he put in the pouch and dropped into his pocket. After he bid the lady a farewell and went out of the pawn shop he went to his next destination which was a shop that sold cell phones. Harry went into T-Mobiles and saw that a lot of phones were on display.

"Welcome to T-Mobiles, are you a returning customer or a first-time shopper?" A store attendant greeted him.

"First time, I'm looking for a cell phone." Harry answered truthfully.

"Do you know what kind of phone you want?" The man asked.

"What is the best phone you've got on the market right now?" Harry replied.

"That depends. Are you into Apple or Android?"

"I guess Android. I'm more familiar with it."

"Then I would recommend the HTC One X. Do you know what kind of plan you want?"

"What kind of plans have you got?"

The attendant rattled off several different types of plans rapidly enough to make Harry's head spin. He paused, that was a lot of options.

"I guess a moderate plan would do." Harry said, outwardly calm.

"Well, all of the plans have unlimited voice, and we've got plans that are fifty or sixty dollars, depending on the data you want."

'Data', Harry thought 'I hadn't even considered that.'

"How much data does the average person use?" He asked.

The man looked at him for a moment and half-asked, "Never had a cell phone before?"

"No." Harry replied.

"Some people use up to six to eight gigs of data. Best to use Wi-Fi if you're going to use data."

"Okay, whichever of the two you recommend, then." Harry said slowly, the Wi-Fi thing was good to know and it wasn't like he couldn't afford the slightly more expensive plan. Thankfully, he wasn't completely lost since he was somewhat familiar with technology. He had to admit to himself as the attendant nodded and collected one of the phones, however, that he was a bit out of his depth when it came to more than the general knowledge stuff.

"We'll need to run a credit check." The man said as he brought the phone up to the counter.

"I'm sorry I'm British. I just moved out here. Does that need a permanent address?" Harry asked, tentatively, thinking this would be a lot harder than he originally thought.

The man looked at him for a moment before saying, "Nah, it just helps things go a bit smoother. We really just need to make sure that you can pay."

Harry felt like he'd dodge and AK on that one. Harry didn't like using magic on muggles, but he needed to make sure he bought a place properly, normally.

The man typed away on the computer and Harry easily pulled out the required cash for his new phone. Fifteen minutes later, Harry walked out of the store with a cell phone and a bluetooth headphone.

Harry first dialled the number he had noted down for the real estate agent and waited for several seconds before a female voice sounded over the phone.

"New York City Elite Real Estate. This is Sarah Jones. How may I help you?" the professional female voice sounded over the phone.

"Yeah, my name is Harry Potter. I actually want to buy a house to live in the city. So I was wondering if you had an idea? I prefer a single house than an apartment."

"Do you know your price range, Mister Potter?" asked the woman.

"Money isn't an issue. I want a place that I can call home." Harry replied.

"Are you looking to own or rent?"

"Own, please." Harry said.

"What kind of feel do you want. The style…"

"I tend to like the old-fashioned stuff. However, I'm also perfectly fine with brand new. Perhaps the best one you have on the market." Harry said neutrally.

"Very well, the place I'm thinking of is at 310 East 55th Street. Can I meet you there in ten minutes time?"

"Yes, of course. I will meet you there." Harry replied.

Harry took a cab to the destination and arrived in 6 minutes. After paying the driver, he looked around the place and saw that there were a lot of shops selling various items, apartments and restaurants. There was also a park close by. It looked like a nice place to live.

After sometime, a lady in a business suit got out of a car and looked around. Harry walked up to her and asked, "Good evening, are you Ms. Sarah Jones, the Real Estate Agent?"

The lady replied in the affirmative and Harry introduced himself to her. The lady told Harry, "The place I told you is the one on your left."

Harry turned to his left and saw a three-storey building with a blue and white paint. It looked nice from the outside with a small garden. The lady led him towards the house.

Harry paused as he spotted a doorman in front of a tower. He was a bit stern looking, but looked sharp at his post.

"Right this way Mister Potter." Sarah said as she led him inside the house.

Not a word was spoken until after Karen had opened unlocked the door of the house, allowing Harry to walk in. It was indeed state of the art, and Harry could tell a lot of work and planning had gone into this place.

There was little in the way of furniture, but what was there looked extremely expensive. Harry never had much of a taste for riches. For once, Harry was seriously considering to use the money he had to live a good life. His money was old money, so he might as well use it to live with everything he had.

There were six bedrooms on the second floor with five bathrooms and two empty rooms on the ground floor for a study and library. There was a spacious kitchen on the ground floor and a dining room and a hall. The third floor was mostly used as an attic the second floor had quite a nice view of the street. There was also a huge garage for vehicles. Overall the entire house screamed money but it had a nice homey feeling to it so Harry decided to purchase it. He could add additional rooms and features with magic though it was not really needed.

"This is a nice place." Harry said to Sarah. It almost reminded him of the Potter Castle in his world with the way it was styled though, Potter Castle was far more grander than this.

"This place was just put on the market two days ago, an open house has been scheduled to show this place to some interested parties."

"How much?" Harry asked.

"It costs eight and a half million dollars. If this is…"

"No, it's perfect. Where do I pay?" Harry eagerly interrupted her.

Sarah Jones was at a loss for words. She looked at him carefully.

"Are you sure this isn't out of your price range? It is pretty steep." She began, tentatively.

"Like I said, money isn't an issue. I'll take it." Harry said, simply.

"Okay, we can discuss the paperwork tomorrow if you come to my office in the morning. Here is my card and address." She handed him a business card which had her phone number and address of her office.

"Thank you for your help Ms. Jones. I will stop by you office tomorrow at around 10 in the morning if it is alright with you?" Harry asked

"It works for me Mr. Potter." Sarah replied.

Harry bid goodbye to Sarah and the first thing he knew he had to do was to open a bank account as it would be difficult for him to carry muggle cash every time with him. Harry took a cab to the Capital One Bank, 347 Sixth Avenue. After paying the driver for the ride, he went into the bank.

There didn't appear to be any real tellers, just a pseudo-receptionist at a front desk. The bank employee seemed reluctant to believe Harry would be worth the time of the bank when he approached and said that he had gold to sell. This rapidly changed when he pulled out ten gold bricks, and an appraiser was quickly summoned.

They quickly and efficiently examined and performed tests to determine that the gold was not only real, but its fineness was of almost 995, or 24 karat quality, they agreed on a settlement price. Harry didn't have to snoop around, or do another background check, to know that security here was tight. After settling for about eight million dollars, Harry sold some more of his gold in the bank, though he did have to confound the muggle. Harry then signed the paperwork after which Harry had a bank account with over ten billion dollars to his name and a credit card.

The next day Harry went to the Real Estate office at 10 a.m. After signing a lot of paperwork for the next several hours and transferring of funds in full, to the surprise of the real estate agent, from his bank account, Harry became the new owner of a luxury home. Though, he did use magic to speed up the process a bit.

Harry went back to the hotel and retrieved his belongings. After checking out of his room, he deposited the key to the receptionist and ducked into an empty side alley. After concentrating on his destination, he vanished and reappeared inside his new house.

The next few days were a busy for Harry who was decorating his new house. He did purchase some of the furniture but most were conjured. He divided the library into two parts and filled one side with muggle books and the other side with magical books he had bought. Harry then placed a strong notice me not charm and a muggle repelling ward on the magical part of the library. He did not want any potential visitors to find out this part of library and scare them off with some of the books like the Monster Book of Monsters.

Harry then went to the market to buy the food items and placed them in the kitchen under stasis charms. Harry had created a duelling chamber in a room inside his study with some nifty expansion charms. 'Truly' Harry thought, 'Magic is wonderful'

Harry also created a gym in the attic and stocked it with up to date muggle weights and the likes. Harry had conjured these weights by looking at them in a store he had seen earlier. Harry had painted the master bedroom with blue walls and brownish texture on the floor. Harry had also conjured a stand and a tray for Hedwig during her rebirth. Hedwig had been pleased with the colours he had chosen and had trilled happily.

All the bedrooms were painted in different colours and Harry had conjured several bathtubs for the bathrooms. Harry had also created a secret chamber in his study with the wall as the entryway and a parseltongue password. Harry had stocked this chamber with some of the items he had brought from his dimension such as the dark detectors, some obscure books, spare wands, potions ingredients and cauldrons, potions etc. He had also stored his seven-compartment trunk in the same room as it still contained the gold and family heirlooms from his vaults and many other items. Harry had only erected a simple alert ward on his house as he could not put the other wards seeing that it would raise a lot of questions.

Harry then wiped the sweat from his forehead as the conjuration was tiring for a longer time. Harry then went out into the street and bought himself a cheese steak as he was too tired to prepare his dinner. As Harry was eating his cheese steak, he noticed three men beating up a young boy in an alley.

Without pause or hesitation, Harry stuffed the last bite of cheese steak in his mouth and moved in to intervene.

"Hey," Harry said, pulling the big man off. He almost looked like an adult Dudley who had built up some muscles with his boxing. "Stop beating the poor guy. What has he done to you?"

"What have we got here? A hero?" The man's partners said as they stopped their current form of entertainment to look at Harry.

Harry was not intimidated in the least. These people had nothing on Voldemort was a lot more scarier than him. Besides Harry was quite strong physically due to his physical workout and enhanced strength from the rituals he had performed.

The guy moved to punch him on the face but Harry easily caught his fist and twisted his arm so much that the man was whimpering and pleading with him to release his arm.

"You will not hurt any one else. I hate bullies. If I ever come to know that you have bullied another poor kid then I will rip you inside out. Am I understood?" Harry asked in an icy tone.

The man nodded his head rapidly and Harry let go of his wrist. The man shot a scared look at Harry and ran away.

Harry helped the boy up who thanked him for saving the kid. The kid then went back to his house and Harry was lost in thoughts so much that he did not see a woman with red hair behind him whose eyes were tracking his every movement. Harry was suddenly jolted out of his thoughts when he saw that he had reached his house.

When Harry was just about to open the door, he felt the sensation of being watched and he knew that someone had been following him when he was thinking. Harry just went in and looked through the window to see a beautiful woman with red hair just turn from the house and walk in the street. Harry's eyes narrowed thinking about why the woman had followed him and he decided that it was a matter for tomorrow and that he needed to sleep as he was tired from today's activities. Harry headed up to the master bedroom and changed his clothes and fell onto his bed. Harry's last thoughts were, 'I have to really purchase a television and video games tomorrow for some entertainment.'

AN : This is all for the first chapters. Please share your opinions and reviews. It is partly based on Avengers Battlegrounds. Next chapter will be about Harry finding about S.H.I.E.L.D. and Harry's induction to S.H.I.E.L.D. and maybe how he saves Tony Stark from the Ten Rings.

Also I wanted some help from you guys about Harry's codename when he joins the Avengers. I initially wanted to name him 'Hades' after the God of Death since Harry is the Master of Death and Hadrian and Hades are quite matching. But if you have any better ideas then please share. I don't want it to be Mage, Raven or Grimm as other authors have been using it and it is their works. Please tell me if Hades if a good codename for Harry.

Also I was quite confused as to what the title of this fanfic should be as it is a Harry/Avengers crossover. So I decided on Harry Potter and the Deathly Avenger. However if you guys have any suggestions on a better title, then please share it in the review or my PM.

Stay Safe. Stay Happy.
