August 25, 2015 (Sophia just turned 5 months. Small Time Jump *Don't worry there won't be big jumps all the time. Just enough to move the story*)

The summer seemed to run away from the girls, I guess it does for everyone though doesn't it? Winter never passes as quickly as summer, funny how that works. They went on summer hiatus at the beginning of June and spent most of their time with their families and they had several family barbecues. Their parents and siblings delighted in their personal time with their granddaughter and niece.

The cast was starting work on Monday after their long break and was doing a series of promotional interviews and appearances to kick off the fifth season of Glee. These two weeks ahead were always chaotic but a lot of fun at the same time. They were always together and they just got to hang out with each other in between acting like professionals... sometimes.

This year however would be interesting because they have Sophia. They refused to leave her so they are having Ashley come along with them and keep her backstage while the girls are doing interviews and appearances. Ashley happened to be able to take a week off work. She was a workaholic and was a nurse at a hospital in Scottsdale, AZ. She never took her paid leave so she finally bit the bullet and decided to take advantage of all the time she had accumulated before she lost it. She was delighted to help the girls. She was a spitfire and the cast loved her.

Sophia had just turned five months old a few days ago. Heather and Naya were completely in love with their little girl. She still had a gorgeous head of hair which was getting longer to the point where they could get pigtails in it now which was the sweetest thing in the world, it was wavy like Naya's. Naya is pretty sure her eyes are getting bluer and more beautiful. They are gorgeous. She looked like a baby model. Her gorgeous, exotic features were a showstopper. They didn't even have to be biased to see she was a stunning little girl.

She's still incredibly petite at almost thirteen pounds. She's a little over double her birth weight. She can roll over with ease which was such a joyous milestone to witness. The cast all happened to be together at one of their hang-out nights, while Chris and Vanessa were playing with her on the floor they yelled for Heather and Naya to quickly come into the room. Both of the moms were in tears at how fast their little girl was growing up.

Sophia was introduced to a tiny bit of baby food to mix in with her breastmilk feedings which were mainly pureed fruits and vegetables. Naya thought the baby food in the store looked terrible so she decided to make her own because she's superhuman, Heather was convinced of it. It's not technically solid food, but it's something other than milk which she seemed to enjoy every once in a while. She is still a heavy sleeper like her mami and falls asleep in her momma's arms all the time.

Heather doesn't think she's ever seen a child smile so much and she is also pretty sure she saw Sophia smirk one time like Naya always does. Naya was adamant there was no way but Heather is convinced Sophia has a little Snixx in her.

Sophia has also begun reacting and reaching for anyone who she wants to be held by. She babbles, screeches, giggles, and chats with herself and her favorite bunny stuffed animal all the time. Heather and Naya can't get enough of her.

Speaking of attitude, Sophia and Chris are two peas in a pod. Every time he sees her there's a new hair accessory or outfit involved and she always shakes it excitedly as if she's asking for Chris or her moms to put it on her. Of course, this makes Chris beam because he's convinced she will adore fashion as much as he does and maybe one day work with him when he has his fashion empire. Chris and his aspirations... Naya is convinced those two will be trouble with a capital T.

The cast were all headed to Lea's house where they usually congregated on Saturday evenings. Her house was in a central location that was nearly the same distance for everyone, so that's another reason it became the go-to house. Aside from the fact that Lea is also a diva and will never turn down the opportunity to host and be praised. Even if they all couldn't come to every single hangout, there were enough people in their group that there was always enough enjoyment to go around. This time just happened to be one of the days where they all were available. A large part of that is because their whirlwind promotional week was starting on Monday and everyone was required to stay in LA. As usual, they were probably going to be the last ones to arrive. Heather was a stickler for being on time and had been that way all of her life but eventually, she gave up and ten minutes late simply became her new normal. She ran on Naya time. They were never late for anything work-related but Naya never knew why the hell they had to be on right on time just to lounge in comfy clothes with their friends. Heather agreed she had made a good point so she didn't argue.

Heather and Naya we're just pulling up into Lea's driveway. It was just after 11:00 am. The plan was just to relax, catch up, and casually have fun for the day. The weather was nice so they could also enjoy the backyard.

"Ready, my love?" Heather asked her wife as she raised her hand to kiss her knuckles affectionately causing Naya to smile shyly. These two were more in love than ever before. A baby didn't change their relationship, the girls were stronger in every way possible. The moment Naya felt comfortable about having sex again, the girls were right back to their active sex life.

"I'm ready," Naya says as she turns her head to look at the back of the car seat that was holding their daughter. "Sophia, brace yourself Mija..." Naya teases. The cast hasn't seen Sophia since their fourth of July barbeque at Ryan's beach house. The only two that have seen her since then were Amber, Chris, and Jenna.

"Alright, beautiful, wait for me." Heather says as she unbuckles her seat belt and grabs her purse before hopping out of the driver's seat and running around to the passenger side door to help her wife out of the car. Naya gratefully accepts her wife's help as always and places a kiss on her temple before planting her feet on the ground and backing up so Heather could close the door behind her. Heather then went to the backseat door on Naya's side and opened it revealing a smiling Sophia and Heather couldn't help but laugh.

"Hi, Soph! Momma's pretty girl! You ready to go hang with your crazy dysfunctional family?" Heather asked earning some babbles from her daughter. She and Naya were positive she was going to be an early talker. She just had so much to say already and was already trying to mimic certain words they would say.

Heather removes her daughter from her car seat and braces her on her right hip close to her chest. Sophia is wearing a matching Adidas tracksuit set which is her mami's go-to in loungewear. Her wavy dark hair was now touching her neck. Heather put a little braid and ponytail on top so her hair was half up and half down. She managed to do this while Sophia was occupied with an interactive toy.

"Damn she's beautiful..." Naya giggles out. Her hair, eyes, skin, smile, everyone knew she was a stunning baby.

"She came from you my love, so of course, she is gorgeous" Heather turned and looked at her wife as she pulled the diaper bag from where it was set on the floor.

"Who are those blue eyes from? Certainly not from my gene pool!" Naya says gesturing to her daughter's aqua eyes that were a spitting image of her mothers. There was absolutely no denying that her eyes were all Heather. Heather smiles proudly and bounces like a little kid which instantly makes Sophia bounce up and down in her momma's embrace to copy her actions. Naya watches and laughs at her two blue-eyed loves.

"Come on you two..." Naya instructs while snatching the diaper bag from Heather's hand even though she tried to insist she could carry it just fine.

"You don't have to carry everything baby. I have two hands that work." Naya joked whole swinging the bag over her left shoulder.

"I know you can, beautiful. I just like doing things for you and treating you like the queen you are..." Heather says while looking at the ground bashfully. She knew Naya could do anything, that woman was a badass, however, she was the mother of her child and the love of her life, she loved spoiling her wife and it made Naya feel like the only woman in the world.

"Have I told you how much I love you?" Naya said sweetly as she leaned up to kiss her wife on the lips and wrap her arm around the baby girl Heather was holding until they were in a mini group hug in the driveway.

"You tell me every day my beautiful wife. Come on my loves, let's join the chaos" Heather said as she kissed both of her girls on the forehead.

Heather and Naya opened the door trying to be as quiet as possible. Based on the muffled voices they were hearing, everyone appears to either be in the kitchen or living room at the moment which is located around the corner from the entryway. Heather gets an idea and covers Sophia's mouth quickly before she starts screeching and babbling trying to mimic all the different voices in the room. Naya smirks and follows her wife's lead even if she has no idea what she's planning to do.

The sounds and voices are getting louder and clearer as they get farther inside. Heather can tell Sophia has a lot to say already with all the noises around. She peers her daughter's little head around the wall so all that her friends would be able to see her face poking out from behind the wall. Heather looks back at Naya who's pressed up against her back and nods eagerly with a wink. Heather removes her hand from where it covered her daughter's mouth and waits until the friends start laughing which she knows will make Sophia start to sound off as soon as she hears all the different tones. The minute the group starts conversing the baby lets out a series of smiley high-pitched squeals and babbles.

Heather and Naya giggle silently at how adorable their daughter is while she's trying to get in the conversation. Everyone snaps their heads around looking for the source of the noise and finally, Jenna points a little higher than where everyone else was searching. They all smile when they notice Sophia's head peeking out from behind the wall. Everyone laughs beckoning for her to come over.

"Sophia my angel!" Chris exclaims happily while bouncing up and down in his chair. Amber is clapping her hands excitedly. All the friends wave and smile at the infant. Sophia loves attention so she smiles and giggles back making everyone swoon.

"Are you serious with the little ponytail? I can't handle it!" Amber fawns as she kisses her goddaughter's hand. Sophia reaches out for her aunt and Amber looks like she's about to turn into a pile of mush. Amber grabs the baby from Heather and bends forward with her while supporting her head and starts blowing raspberries in her pudgy belly making her screech and giggle. Naya is recording it on her phone because, well, someone had to. When Amber stands straight up again Sophia is smiling and babbling trying to get everyone to understand what she's trying to say.

They've been talking for a good hour in the living room. Vanessa, Lea, and Jenna are currently on the floor playing with Sophia who's sitting up wobbly with support from aunt Jenna. Diana is telling the group about her disastrous date from about a week ago. It's actually pretty entertaining.

"So then the douchbag spent a good twenty minutes talking about his psycho ex who egged his new Porsche..." Diana ranted

"Damn," Heather said flatly making a few of the friends giggle.

"Nobody should be subjected to get kind of torture." Diana retorts while taking a swig of her ice tea. Meanwhile, Chris is bent over in a fit of giggles.

"It's not funny!" Diana scolds him. All of a sudden the voices of the adults are broken up by Sophia getting out several throaty chuckles while looking at Diana. Everyone breaks into a fit of loud laughs making Sophia smile.

"God I fucking love that kid." Naya laughed while wiping her tears. Heather was laughing just as hard.

"Soph!" Diana playfully scolds the infant and everyone's pretty sure they just saw a little Snixx smirk from Sophia when Diana playfully scolded her. Sophia sent the attitude right back.

"Right there! I told you!" Heather said pointing at her daughter's face as she literally fell off the couch laughing. Everyone was nearly choking from cracking up so hard, even Naya. Everyone saw it right away. Whether or not Sophia even knew what she was doing, she was all her mami at that moment.

"God damn my side hurts!" Chord laughs from the corner of the room

"Holy shit! Mini Snixx!" Kevin cried out.

"That's my girl!" Naya said while wiping her tears.

Sophia was ignoring them at the moment. She probably thought most of them had lost their minds so she was currently in Chris' lap facing him she had both of her hands on his cheeks as he was puffing them out for her.

"Oh Heya, by the way, I got her Halloween costume custom-made already so you're off the hook..." Chris threw out there nonchalantly. Naya snapped her head around.

"You did what Colfer?" Naya said

"Why would you do that Chris? It's her first Halloween, of course, her moms would want to dress her." Vanessa said looking at the boy. Chris motioned for her to come closer and he whispered in her ear. Vanessa's eyes go comically wide and she sits back down with a giggle.

"Let Chris pick the damn costume. Who cares..." Vanessa waved off completely changing her stance which confused the girls.

"You just..." Heather pointed confused and looked at Chris after having a nonverbal conversation with her wife next to her. "Colfer, don't make us regret this," Heather said warningly.

"What do you think I'm really going to do that's so bad? I've never even been given a damn parking ticket..." Chris said looking up to the girls as he had been focused with the baby in his lap, they both glance at each other and realize he's right. They'll humor him. They were having a friend's holiday party anyway so they'll be curious to see what he comes up with.

"Alright porcelain, we're trusting you..." Naya warns

It was approaching 3:00 pm in the afternoon. They all ventured out into the backyard since it was such a beautiful sunny day. The girls were huddled in their own circle talking while most of the guys were across the yard throwing the football around casually. The group of girls were gathered under a large tree so they weren't squinting from the bright sun beating down on them. They had laid a bunch of towels out and were picking at various snacks they had carried out with them. Sophia was fast asleep on her mami's chest with her pink bunny tucked underneath her arm. Sophia's bunny is the one Heather got her for Valentine's day when she was still in Naya's belly. She was already so attached to it. She loved to carry it around. Naya had the baby on her chest while her back was leaning against Heather's chest. Heather had her back against one of the ottomans of the outdoor furniture pieces so she was able to support them.

"Hold her close my love," Heather whispered in her wife's ear. Naya turned her head slightly confused but Heather just kissed her cheek. "Hold her tight honey," Heather repeated and Naya was still confused but wrapped her arms around Sophia tightly.

Heather wiggles her way out from behind Naya but still keeps her hand on Naya's back so she doesn't fall back since Heather was completely supporting her weight before. She then puts her other arm under Naya's knees and lifts both of them up easily. Heather had superhuman strength. Those vigorous hours of rehearsals were definitely paying off.

"Hemo!" Lea gasped in shock from where she was sitting on the towel with the other girls.

Everyone was staring at the girls as Heather walked over to the large round outdoor bed that had a curved canopy over the top. She ever-so-carefully laid Naya down on the bed who still had their daughter braced against her chest. Heather gently rolled Sophia from her current position laying on her tummy on Naya's chest to gently shift her so she's laying on the bed beside her wife on her back. Naya turns on her side and snuggles her still sleeping, daughter. Naya motions with her finger for Heather to lay with them which is an offer she gladly accepts.

Heather settles on the opposite side of her daughter so she's completely secured between her mothers. Heather runs her fingers softly through her thick hair while Naya keeps her hand flat over her chest and tummy.

"I love you both more than words can say," Heather said quietly. Naya looked up with that cheek bunching grin that showed off both of her dimples. Heather instantly swooned at Naya and leaned over their daughter to place a kiss on her wife's lips and a soft kiss on her daughter's cheek before laying back down and putting her arm over both of her girls and settling her hand on her wife's hip.

The three girls were sound asleep all cuddled close on this oversized outdoor bed. Everyone had to stand up and walk over just to see the sweetness for themselves. It was way too much for any of them to handle. Sophia had her fists tightly gripping each of her mom's hands on either side of her and Naya and Heather's noses were practically touching they were so close. Jenna takes out her iPhone from her back pocket and holds it up to get a good photo of the sleeping trio.

"I can't with these three..." Jenna breaths out as she drops her arm and gazes at the photo she just took of the little family. Amber and Lea walked over and leaned over Jenna to look at the picture she had just taken. Both Jenna and Amber shake their heads.

"They are the cutest damn family..." Amber grins at her friends and goddaughter. Lea just squeals until Amber covers her mouth to shut her up before she wakes them. Lea's screeches were unbelievably loud and obnoxious.

"Girl, let them take a nap. This is when Sophia usually goes down for about an hour..." Amber pointed out as she glanced at her watch on her right wrist. "So let them join her without waking them up." Amber finishes before uncovering the brunette's mouth and turning her before tapping her butt to shoo her back towards the others that were still on their towels in the shaded grass.

About two hours later the gang was back in the house after ordering an obscene amount of pizzas. Boxes we're littered everywhere throughout the kitchen and living room. The trio had woken up after about an hour when Sophia started to wiggle around in between them. Heather was sure if it wasn't for Sophia telling them it was time to wake up, she and Naya could have easily slept the remainder of the afternoon.

Jenna was currently talking to Harry and Vanessa in the corner of the living room. Sophia was gripping her pink bunny under her arm as she was being held by her aunt Jenna and resting her head on her shoulder. She almost looked as if she could fall asleep again.

"I think she thinks our conversation is boring..." Harry chuckles and points to the little version of his two friends. Jenna looks down and Vanessa looks over and sees how close to falling asleep she is. Jenna motions for them to move to the couch so she can settle with her a bit better.

The three of them join a few of the others on the couch and chairs in the living room. Heather, Naya, Diana, Chris, and Chord were in the kitchen refilling their plates and drinks.

A few minutes later the smaller group reentered the living room from the kitchen. Out of habit, the girls immediately scan the room to see which one of their friends has their daughter. Their eyes land on Jenna who's holding Sophia against her chest and the baby is sleeping on her shoulder clutching her pink bunny.

"Aww, Auntie Jenna! Did you want me to lay her down or did you want to keep snuggling with her?" Heather asked while taking a bite of her pizza. Naya smiled from where she was seated next to her wife and gazing at her daughter who was cuddled with her aunt.

"Oh snuggles for sure..." Jenna said softly with a wink. Naya gets up and goes to their diaper bag in the hallway and grabs Sophia's quilt and walks it over to Jenna. She drapes it gently over her daughter and her friend instantly starts tucking it around the infant.

"Have a good snooze, Mija. Te amo. (love you)" Naya says as she kisses the top of Sophia's dark hair and walks back over to her wife who beings her into her lap instead.

An hour had passed and the girls were all still gathered in the large living room, this time it was mattress free. The guys had decided to go outside and settle on the outdoor patio with some drinks but since Sophia was still asleep in Jenna's lap the girls had decided to just stay inside and relax. It was just after 6:30 pm.

"The interview on Monday should be fun, especially since it's with the entire cast for the whole hour! That's a really big deal!" Amber said excitedly. They all knew how big of a deal this was for a show to have an entire hour spot, Ryan was the first to make sure everyone was aware of how crucial this was for their success.

"Oh, big time! This is such a big deal! It will be fun to have the entire cast rather than just going on with a couple of other people or by yourself. I hate doing interviews by myself..." Lea finishes and the girls look over at her with their eyes squinted in disbelief.

"Alright diva, you love doing interviews by yourself... talking about only you is like your damn dream come true," Naya says which earns nods from the group. Lea sinks back into the couch and crosses her arms. There was no way she could argue with that. She found great fulfillment with being the main attraction.

"What are you going to do with this little one while you are busy with interviews this week and you both have to be out there at the same time?" Jenna asked while nodding to the sleeping infant

"She'll be with my sister. She is going to follow us around and be Sophia's nanny for the week in a sense. Like we once said, there's no way we could just hire any random person and feel comfortable. There are just way too many things that could go wrong when you do what the two of us do for a living. We would constantly be looking over our shoulders wondering if they are going to exploit us or share personal information since they'd be in our home and with our most precious girl. Fortunately, Ashley got a week off from the hospital and was excited to do it so she'll just be backstage with Soph all week." Heather explained earning grins from her friends

"I love Ashley, she's so much fun!" Vanessa said quietly but excitedly. Those two had very fun personalities so when they were together they were a riot.

"Yeah, the two of you should be really entertaining all week." Heather feigns annoyance causing everyone to let out a small giggle.

"A little bit random but has anyone heard from Mark lately?" Diana asked quietly. Everyone shook their heads. It was a little bit of an elephant in the room. Mark had ended up being taken off as a regular cast remember after Heather had told Ryan about what happened with Naya. He was still scheduled to appear on the show here and there but Ryan also had to make sure his behavior wouldn't affect the show and most importantly the other cast members felt safe on their set.

"I haven't. He definitely needed a break though. I'm not sure what the hell was going on with that boy but that night of the Christmas party was an eye-opener, then again at Harry's party..." Amber said while shaking her head.

"The fact that he touched my girl... I feel like I could get pissed all over again." Heather huffs out and wraps her arms around her wife's waist as she sits in her lap. Naya looks behind her and mouths, I love you to her wife which earns her a sweet his on the lips.

"Let's just hope he can rejoin the crew and act like a man again. That wasn't the Mark we all knew." Diana said with a sigh as the others nod in agreement.

The girls were chatting for about five minutes longer until they see Sophia shake her head face down into her aunt's shoulder then lift her head up slowly and smiles brightly. She takes the hand that's holding and her bunny to rub her eyes but the grip on her pink bunny loosens making it fall onto the couch. Chris quickly grabs it since he's sitting right next to Jenna and hands it back to Sophia who smiles shyly and lays her head back on Jenna even though she's wide awake.

Everyone can't get over how adorable she is. Naya and Heather smile over at their precious baby girl with the most loving looks on their faces.

"Hi, honey! Did you fall asleep again silly girl?" Heather says from there she was sitting on the loveseat across from the couch where their daughter was. Sophia hears the sound of her mama's voice and instantly lifts her head and smiles widely causing the moms to giggle.

"Hi, Mija! You were a pretty tired girl today weren't you sweetheart?" Naya smiled back at her baby girl. Sophia wakes up enough so Jenna turns her around in her arms so she can see her moms. Sophia sees Naya and raises her arms so Jenna and Naya stand and they pass the baby over the coffee table that was in between them.

Naya holds her daughter tightly before sitting back down in her wife's lap who wraps her arms around both Naya and Sophia.

"Hi, my little love!" Heather says with a big smile. Sophia's face is right by Heather's since she's draped over Naya's shoulder and the baby grabs Heather's nose and presses her mouth against Heather's lips for a sloppy baby kiss. Everyone giggles at the sweet interaction.

The guys all come back in and decide to spend the last little while with the girls before everyone heads home. They continue to chat and go over their plan for the busy week ahead of them. It was sure to be a whirlwind.
