Chapter 12

Bianca groaned with aggravation as she tried pulling her arm off the metal wall, but she felt like she was ripping off her arm. "Oh come on!" she shouted then groaned as she dropped back onto her feet and rested her forehead against the metal wall. "Okay, think Bee, think…" She talked to herself for a few moments, thinking of what she could do to get the hell out of these things because the only key that she knew of was likely on Steve for this exact cuff.

Huffing she shuffled through her many pockets, "Please have a magnet, please have a magnet- Yes! Thank you, Thor!" she shouted with glee.

Thor had given her a magnetic ring from Asgard, it could magnetize non-magnetized metals or demagnetize them as well, and a few other things. Holding the ring up to the magnetized cuff, Bianca grinned so big she thought her cheeks would hurt for weeks when the cuff unlocked and dropped to the floor. She loved this ring, it was fantastic! Slipping the ring onto her index finger she smiled proudly at it, "I like this." She said with a cheeky smile and rushed for the backside of the jet she looked around for anything that could help her catch up to Steve and Sam. Curious about a big button, she pressed it and her smile grew bigger at the bike. "Tony, you spoil the heck out of your team. I love it." Grabbing the helmet, Bianca got on the bike and messed around with it for a moment after she turned on the bike before she was suddenly dropped from the bike's little side hanger. Taking a moment to breathe from being startled, Bianca took a second or two to get used to the bike before taking off.

She sighed as she rode towards the apartment building and parked the motorcycle in the alleyway. It was there she saw the GSG9 swarming the building. "Shit," she definitely couldn't go up that way, the front or the backside. Seeing the other building's sidewall, Bianca groaned with annoyance and pulled out her grapple gun from her holster. "Great," she grumbled with aggravation, mentally wanting to cuss out her uncle/father, but she knew that no matter how irritated she was with him he'd been trying to protect her. "I knew I should have brought my freaking bag." She grumbled, aimed it up, and hooked herself in before pressing the button to real her up. Getting to the rooftop beside the building she needed to be in, she de-anchored the hook and aimed it again to the building she needed. And made her way up the wall, "Too far, too far, down, okay, really high," she mumbled to herself. Realizing that the only release on this gun was the one that would either drop her or released the wire from the gun. "Crap, I wasn't wanting to use these things just yet." She scolded herself as she anchored a grappling hook into the side of the wall, "Please, don't drop yourself, Margaret Lou," she talked to herself, hoping to calm her fright from being so high up.

CRASH!

BOOM!

CRASH!

CLANK!

BOOM!

Confused she looked under her a few floors as fire and a ruckus, "What the hell?" She looked up at hearing Sam's jets of his wings flying past her and a fight breaking out on the top floor, Bianca sighed and made her way down.

"Bucky, stop!" Steve shouted.

CRASH!

She winced at hearing someone going through a window, seeing a backpack being thrown out and voices shouting over the edge and men in tactical gear starting to come down with guns ready to kill, Bianca took the jump. When she saw Bucky rushing to jump, she panicked for a second, "Not that way!" she shouted, wrapping her legs around the guy when she caught him and honestly almost tackling him to the floor back inside. Catching herself before she fell face-first into him, Bianca looked up to the guys advancing, pulling out a few Taser disks Natasha had equipped her with she threw them at the few coming at them and kicked the back door in on the next two men trying to come in behind them. The door had knocked one's gun back into him, stunning him for a moment. Tossing a small metal device at the door, frame, and wall and watching with a smirk as it activated, the little legs anchored out and ripped into the wood and cement of the wall, locking the two GSG 9 guys out. Looking down at his shock, she slightly laughed at his confused expression, "Hi, sorry," she said. She'd been about to get off the poor man until she heard the feet hitting the floor as more came in through the window, the rest working on getting in through the door. Looking up to the next several rushing into the apartment, their rifles aimed at the ready, Bianca rolled her yes that them, "Seriously?" Feeling hands on her hips she looked back down at Barnes with a blush and her own shock, "That is so inappropriate-ouf," she blinked, stunned he'd rolled them, it was really awkward, to her at least. When he stood up Bucky had taken her with him, then toss her out the broken window into her Uncle with an annoyed expression before making his way to the door to leave. Honestly, she thought he'd have simply thrown her in the first place, but her uncle was much worse when he caught her, grabbing her arm after they steadied themselves.

Laughing nervously at Steve while he glared at her, Bianca wanted to panic for a moment when he breathed out through his nostrils like an angry dragon before making his way back inside. "And I'm dead," she grumbled. Making her way back inside behind him, she jumped onto the countertop, kicked a gun away from Bucky's back as he made his way out the door, and stunned the man with her Taser bracelet that had her mother's signature widow's bite. "I love these," she lightly squealed to herself. Rushing after the two men, she groaned as she leaped onto the closest guy, spun up and around him, unclipping his magazine from the gun then locked it before using her weight to off-balance him, slamming him against the wall, and jumping for the three guys trying to corner Steve and Bucky. She took the first one down quickly and easily, kicked the second in the side of his knee which successfully brought him down to his knees before throat punching him to keep him stunned for a moment, and kicked the third man's handgun from his hold, caught it and dismantled the weapon fluidly before she spun on her heel and kicked him in his side. The impact was enough to make him fly off his feet just for a second before missing a few steps in his attempt to catch himself then he fell and went down a few steps in the spiral staircase of the apartment complex, taking a few of his comrades down with him. Looking at the currently kneeling man holding his throat and trying to breathe, Bianca patted his arm and looked at his patch on his gear. "Atme einfach, es wird dir gut gehen." She told him casually.

German Translation:

Bianca: "Just breathe, you'll be fine."

Looking to the two men currently just staring, she blinked at them with her own curiousness, "I think the point at this moment, is to run," she said to them, shuffling her hands towards the stares. She groaned and rolled her eyes at hearing more men rushing up the stairs and looked over the railing at them, "Can we just not today? Please- AHH!" Bianca screamed when she felt a hand on her thigh and her being lifted up and over the edge. She heard a man's pained grunt from likely being hit, but she was falling! She shouted then breathed a few breaths of calm, realizing she was no longer falling when a rough hand grabbed her ankle and someone shouting from the strain and obvious the pain of catching them on a railing and the screaming of the metal bending. Looking up to whoever caught her she sighed with relief. "I deserved that," she admitted, letting her panic settle as she grabbed onto the railings to pull herself over. "Sorry, and thank you," she told him breathlessly. Seeing more GSG9 Agents flooding in she groaned, "I got it, get the hell out of here," she said, pulling herself up and over as he was just coming over the railing.

Charging the GSG9 Agents she dropped, skidding across the floor, and attacked their legs. She had several down before they'd had much time to think about how to previse the situation, her being a teenager and all. Once they were down, Bianca turned and looked for which way Bucky could have gone. She sighed as she spotted a door ripped off heading out towards another hallway to a ledge leading over to the rooftop across the apartment building. "Why do I have a feeling I'm going to be cleaning up after these guys?" she grumbled, moving back enough she released a breath to let go of her fears of jumping from where she was going to be. "If mom could see me now, she'd call me crazy," she mumbled, started into her run, her foot lifting her up and she jumped, leaping across from one building to the other. She tucked and rolled when her foot met the cement of the building and groaned as she rolled herself back up to her knees, "Ouch," she groaned. Pushing herself up and back into a run, she caught sight of a shadow flying in her way, "Sam?" she asked, looking over her shoulder, but there were no wings to this shadow, and he was heading for Barnes. 'That is not Sam!' "Barnes!" she shouted. When the shadow went over her head, Bianca stared in total shock. "What the hell- AHHH! OH COME ON!" She shouted with disbelief as she was lifted off the rooftop and into the air. "That's not funny Sam!"

Laughing, Sam nodded, "Oh yeah, it was definitely funny- WHOA! HEY, I GOT A KID HERE!" Sam shouted with angry irritation when he was suddenly fired at.

Needless to say, this was not going how she had hoped it would have. "Set me down! I have the bike!"

"No way Margie!"

"Come on Sam, they need help, I'm a liability in your arms!" she shouted.

"Sam, the chopper," Steve said. They were taking fire and the chopper was getting in all of their way, other than the guy with the nails trying to rip Bucky to shreds.

Growling with annoyance, Sam looked down to Bianca and nodded, "I'm on it, Bee, you're going on the top floor! Catch yourself!" he told her tossing her onto the rooftop of the building she had just jumped from before having to deal with the chopper.

Once again rolling to catch herself as she hit the rooftop she grunted at the pain in her arm. "Fantastic," she groaned.

"Nicht bewegen!" A man shouted.

German Translation:

Bianca: "Do not move!"

Looking over her shoulder, she sighed with annoyance at the three GSG9 Agents walking towards her. "Seriously," she sighed and laid herself face-first on the ground, her fingers laced at the back of her head as they approached her. 'Great, now how am I going to get out of this?' When one locked his legs with hers and slapped a cuff around one wrist she turned on him at her waist, squares a leg in around the back of his knees, forcing him to fall overtop her, it gave the arm length to throat punched the man. Her attack on him stunned the Agent and the man fell away from her, choking for air. Aiming her bracelets at the other two, she fired her Taser bracelets at them moving to advance her before they could fire on her.

She figured they were refraining from using their ammunition on her, however, she was grateful they were trying to at least be non-deadly towards her. Again, because she was a teenager, in which case she wouldn't get this lucky again with them. Pushing herself up from the ground, Bianca ran for the edge of the roof. She could hear the GSG9 Agent behind her trying to stumble after her, basically begging her not to jump, possibly thinking she was jumping to her death, but that was not what she was doing. Jumping over the edge she turned and stuck a grappling hook into the wall and attacked it to her belt, letting it slow her fall towards the ground. Touching down she breath an easy breath, hoping to let her legs and stomach caught up and un-jelly-o-fie themselves as she unhooked the wire from her belt and made her way around the building towards the bike. Slipping on the helmet she started up the bike and turned on the small screen, she grinned at the tracker she had put on Bucky when he'd caught her from falling to her death, "Now hopefully he doesn't lose that." She sighed and took off after them. That was until she realized she didn't exactly need the tracker since all she had to do was follow the chaos and debris they were leaving behind, likely not entirely their fault. Well, at least it wasn't likely Sam's fault. Bucky and her uncle were on their own when it came to that.

Hearing the tiers squealing and the crashes occurring and the sirens screaming, Bianca sighed, "Can they not go somewhere and not destroy something?" she grumbled.

"That that wasn't us,"

Bianca heard Sam in her earpiece, and she was momentarily confused. "How are our links connected again? They weren't before,"

"We can link and unlink these things, and you have one of Natasha's earpieces, therefore-"

"Okay, okay, okay, I get it."

"Uh. Hey, while you're behind us, Bee, can you do me a favor?" Steve asked a bit sheepishly.

"Let me guess, grab your shield?" She asked him almost chuckling at him when she saw the upside-down shining piece of metal. "Already on it," she told him, leaning over on the bike she swept up his shield. "And I'm not doing that again," she said to herself really.

Laughing, Sam wow'ed as he flew, "Why not? That was awesome!" Sam told her with amassment, and frankly, he was impressed.

"Sam, I can't shake this guy," Steve said.

Sighing, she readied the shield to throw it at the person's back that was somehow sticking to the car without issue. She was curious how the heck that was possible, "Hang on-"

"No, Bee, give the shield to Sam, I don't want you near this guy!" Steve scolded her, "You're in enough trouble as it is. You can't get arrested here,"

"And you can?" Bianca snapped back. Groaning like a typical teenager, Bianca refrained from rolling her eyes at him, "Sam, sending it up!" She warned him before tossing her uncle's shield up to him, "Here it is!" she said tossing the shield up to him. When he threw it at the guy in the cat costume, though she had to admit it was pretty awesome. He was amazing! The nails were a bit freaky though. Ridding up past Sam after he'd thrown Steve's shield and missed because the cat guy had done a back-flip off the vehicle and latched onto Sam's leg. She's sighed, trying to figure out how to help them get this guy off their asses, but, her help was not in their cards when an explosion took out an overpass's wall above them, vehicles swerved and one tapped the back wheel of her bike and unfortunately ended up losing control of the bike, she screamed at the car in front of her cutting her off, the front of her bike hit the side of the car that had cut her off and Bianca went flying. "SAM!"

"BIANCA!"

She'd been driven in a separate car than the others, her pockets emptied and her gear removed and her bike seized, thankfully they hadn't taken away any of her personal belonging, like her jewelry, or the magnetic ring Thor had given her was currently on her finger. Unfortunately, it wouldn't help her out of these cuffs. However, she was anything but okay with this right now. She was fifteen years old and in a van of heavily armed GSG9 Agents cuffed with heavy-duty cuffs and a muzzle to keep her silent. Why? She wished she knew.

When the Van stopped, Bianca closed her eyes with humiliation as the two GSG9 Agents beside her clipped chains to the thick, heavy-duty cuffs she'd been placed in and escorted her out of the van.

"See that their weapons are placed in lock-up, we'll write you a receipt for it," A man said with pure annoyance, he was clearly the 'leader' of this faction.

Sam watched one of the guys walking past them with his wings, another walking past with his suit, he was so burned about this it was completely ridiculous. "I better not look out the window and see anybody flying around in those," Sam commented accusingly. He could just see the glimmering smirks on their faces as they walked away with his wings. His head, however, snapped quickly and his chest burned with anger as he turned to the director of the Task Force Commander, Everett Ross, "Is that seriously necessary?" he snapped pointing at Bianca walking past them in thick, durable cuffs and a muzzle around her mouth.

"She's more of a danger than you and Rogers, Mr. Wilson, and trust me, that was not on my order," Everett said. He wanted to be clear that he'd have never ordered a muzzle to be put on a kid. Even if her hands were cuffed, she was no danger to them with those cuffs. The muzzle was very unnecessary in his opinion.

"Then who's was it!" Steve snapped angrily at the man. His daughter was in a muzzle!

"Dangerous?! She's a kid!" Sam barked.

"Secretary Ross," Sharon said with a deep breath, her lungs were burning with discomfort as she looked at Bianca. She was pissed off to a new level regarding the girl.

"Believe me, I wouldn't have put a kid in that, but apparently the man is under the assumption she is more dangerous than you two." Everett sighed.

"At least remove the muzzle from her, that is not necessary." T'Challa tried to request politely. Even he was angry over the girl, he could not imagine how angry Rogers and Wilson were, and he had to wonder how pissed off Mss. Romanoff would be the second she found out about this.

"I am sorry, your Majesty, but I can't. Secretary Ross has specifically ordered her not to have those cuffs or the muzzle removed until she was secured in a cell. And he is on his way to collect her himself… As we speak. He is also requesting to have a Psychological evaluation done on her aside from the mandatory Evaluation that Barnes has to go through, so once Doctor Broussard has finished with Barnes, he is to evaluate the Mss. Rogers."

The three men stared at him with shock, as the Agents walked Bianca behind the closing metal doors where they were escorting Barnes and Bianca to their cells.

Bucky watched with confusion and shock as the two Agents walked Bianca back with him. The muzzle around her mouth, the chains on her were the same he had on himself. But it was the tears he saw in her eyes she was fighting back. "What's she doing here?" he asked. When no one answered, he looked at each one of the Agents and Bianca, "Hey, come on, she's not involved in this-"

"Stille!" a guard snapped.

German Translation:

Guard: "Silence!"

Looking over to him, Bianca shook her head to him, she flinched and actually tried to move away from the guard's baton stick that had been aimed at her face that had been stopped just inches from her face.

"Hey!" Bucky snapped, jerking his wrists against the cuffed chair, "Leave her alone!" he snapped, pulling against the cuffs when one guard actually struck her in the muzzle, slamming the edge of the muzzle against the crest of her cheekbone near her eye and temple, his rage was overwhelming him before he was dealt a vicious shock. He was dazed as they were separated further, her muffled screams as she slumped in someone's arms and her screams silenced. He watched with faded vision as she was carried out in a different direction.

Her head was throbbing and her neck stung as she shifted on the small cot. Blinking her eyes open she noticed the lights were out and a red and yellow lights alarm were rolling around in the colored lamp lights on the ceiling of the cell she was in. She sat up looking curiously at the open doors, the main door to the cemented room she was in and the glass cell she was in with a small cot was half-opened. Looking around her she realized the cuffs and the muzzle had been removed, the muzzle looked as if it had been ripped off. She suddenly felt sick at how that had happened. There was only one answer… The Winter Soldier. "Oh, this can't be good," Bianca softly muttered as she slowly made her way to the open door and the silent alarms going on in the darkness. From the observation that she was clearly seeing the power had been blasted out.

Poking her head out around the corner she saw a trail of unconscious bodies. The sight had her jaw dropped. Slipping out of her cell she slowly moved down the hall close to the wall. Noticing the elevator door was ripped inward, like something had gone through the elevator doors from the outside in then looked into the cell beside hers just down the hall, Bianca's eyes widened when she found Sam unconscious near the containment cell Bucky had been in the last time she had seen him, that being before they'd stuck a needle into the side of her neck carelessly and rendered her unconscious. Yeah, that had hurt like liquid fire being dropped on her neck then injected into her body. Running to Sam, she checked him for a pulse and breathed a sigh of relief when he stirred and moaned as he woke up, "Come on buddy, there ya go," she carefully helped him roll onto his side as he woke up painfully, "I'd ask if you're okay, but clearly you're not, least your alive." She told him with a soft chuckle as he glared at her trying to get up. "Take it easy, Sam. So… What's going on?" she asked.

Holding his ribs, Sam shook his head, "Not a damn clue, but we think the Psychiatrist that came in to evaluate Bucky activated that HYDRA crap in his head, or whatever it is. He went that way," he groaned, nodding towards the opened cell, "Put Steve down the elevator, Bee, we gotta get him before they kill him."

"I'll let Uncle Steve worry about Barnes, I am going to worry about you. Come on," she told him, wrapping an arm around his waist carefully to not hurt his ribs and helping him to the cell's broken doors.

"Come on, that Psychiatrist went this way," he groaned moving towards the stairs. When they'd caught up to him they had made their way up, chasing the guy up, but they'd lost him once they had gotten outside. With all of the people running out and screaming or calling for others. Sam cursed under his breath and grabbed at his ribs again with a small groan.

Seeing him grabbing his ribs, Bianca's brow frowned with worry, "Sam?"

Shaking his head to her, draped an arm around her shoulders and started walking them away from the building, "Come on, just walk naturally," he told her softly.

Once they were away from the building, Sam's phone rang making the man groan loudly with aggravation as he winced here or there pulling his phone from his pocket and answering the call, "Yeah," oh yeah, he was not happy. His spine and his ribs hurt. "Okay, I got our girl, actually I think it's more like she has me," Sam corrected with some confusion as he looked down at her, his arm around her tightened just a bit. He knew if he was having a panic attack earlier when they'd taken her back to the cells Steve had to of been having a heart attack. Natasha definitely hadn't been happy and Tony had been pissed off to a new level. "Either way we'll meet you there."

"Okay?" she asked curiously to the man, but she had to be patient, the guy had just been slammed into a metal cell that was designed to hold Bucky. Then again, how did that go?

Jumping out of the car and running around the other side to open Sam's side and to help him out of the car, she pulled her hands back when he'd tried to playfully smack her hands away and got out of the car perfectly fine, even if he was still sore as hell. "Come on Bee, I'm fine." He told her. When he'd realized that even though he'd meant it to be funny, it had not come across that way, especially when she'd pulled away from him playful swat as if he was going to full-on hit her. "But thanks for caring." He said, wrapping an arm around her and kissing the top of her head in a brotherly manner. He was at least glad she'd hugged him back as they made their way inside, but he couldn't help but feel just a little gutted and worried about what had happened the moment those doors closed.

Seeing Sam walking in with his arm around Bianca and her arms around Sam, Steve jogged to them and pulled Bianca into his arms, looking Sam over before grabbing the man's hand and nodding to him, "Are you okay?" he asked him.

"His ribs are bruised," Bianca answered for the man in a whispered tone.

"How's your boy doing?" he asked looking around for the man he thought had snapped. "Where is he actually?" he questioned with curious confusion.

Nodding further to the backside of the building, Steve sighed as Sam walked to check it out as he held Bianca closely, her arms were tight around him as she hugged him.

Finally, with Sam away from them, Bianca buried her face into her uncle's abdomen and hugged him tightly to silently cry for a moment. "I'm sorry, I'll stay out of it. I'm sorry I'm such an ungrateful brat," Bianca whispered into Steve's chest, silently crying.

Grateful she would at least listen to him, hopefully, Steve couldn't help but ease her back from his hug and wiped her tears from her face. "You're not a brat, Bee, and you are definitely not ungrateful. You're overprotective, you're like your grandfather, waring your heart on your sleeve. You're persistent to protect those you love. That's all. And you're a teenager and Peggy… Peggy's death did a lot of emotional hurt to you, to both of us. I understand, trust me. Steph was the same way when we lost our mother. And when she thought Bucky was dead she was… She was lost, angry, even if she was an adult, she was the same way you are now. The relationship is clearly different, but the hurt is almost the same. But just… Bee, we just want you to let us handle things where the adults should." When he looked her over it was only then he noticed the light cut on the crest of her cheekbone close to the edge of her eye, the red mark that was forming into a quick bruise near her eye and temple, however, that wasn't the end of it. Seeing something on the side of her neck, Steve moved her long hair aside from her neck. What he saw had him boiling angry. The angry and irritated injection site in her neck looked bad. Angling her head to the side to look at the angry swollen area more, he had to force his lungs to breathe. "Bee, what happened?"

"I don't know, they injected me with something, I was out in seconds, the pain hasn't gone away. It feels like it's burning." She told him, sniffing back her tears. She winced when he'd brushed his thumb over the area, "Ow,"

Softly sighing, Steve weakly smiled and let her hair go and dropped his hand from her before hugging her again and kissing the top of her head. "Gonna have to find a safe place to stash you," he joked with a small laugh, though he was being entirely serious.

"Steve," Sam called from the back corner room.

Looking over towards the man, Steve walked his way with Bianca following behind him. When she moved to run around him to go towards his friend, Steve felt bad enough that he was actually perceiving Bucky as an optional threat still, which was why he'd put Bucky's arm in a vice. Which had him acting quickly and grabbing Bianca, pulling her to a stop, "Hey, whoa, whoa, take it easy."

"Steve?" Bucky asked waking up from his groggy sleep. His head was pounding.

"Which Bucky am I talkin' to?" Steve asked him as he pulled Bianca behind him.

Softly shaking his head and pulling his brow inward from the pain, "You're mom's name was Sarah," suddenly he started to chuckle at the newspapers in his friends' shoes, "you used to put Newspapers in your shoes," he laughed sadly then sighed with a wish he could go back in time, "I proposed to Lou at the Diner after she got out of the Hospital."

Sighing with relief, Steve nodded to Sam and let Bianca go. "Can't read that in a Museum," he told Sam.

Moving for the girl, Sam stopped Bianca and pulled her to his side, "Whoa, no, no, we're just supposed to be cool? Just from those few things? No, not with her I'm not," Sam told his friend. He was not letting the girl get hurt any more than she already had. When the car had sent her flying forward he had been lucky to even catch her with the prince hanging onto him. Looking at Bucky's sideways grin and the nodding he was giving him as he looked from him to the girl he had in his arms, her own loosely wrapped around him then to the floor, "No, I'm sorry Steve. Bee, go I the other room." Sam told her, watching her slowly walk around the corner to the other part of the warehouse before looking back to Steve's own grinning self and the appreciative nod the man gave him which he returned.

"What did I do?" Bucky asked with worry. It was always a very good question. What had he done?

"Enough," Steve answered just a tad-bit coldly, he wasn't meaning to, it was just his way of shielding himself.

They started questioning the man about the Psychologist who had been in the cell with him to do the evaluation. They knew he couldn't possibly be a Psychologist from what he'd told them he was doing there. "To see an empire fall,"

"So, how do we stop him?"

She had listened to all of it, the confusion, the worry, what the man had asked Bucky. Siberia and the other Winter Soldiers that no one had even known existed. Slipping around the corner, Bianca sighed softly, "I have an idea," she said, leaning against the arch of the separating wall, "However, your stuff is inside the lockup still, if you want to go after the man that's responsible then you'll need at least Sam's wings,"

"And his shield, right?" Sam questioned it as if it was a no-brainer.

"It would be logical to have it. It does come in handy when roofs are falling on you or you're getting shot at. And it's like a boomerang, it comes back after knocking people out."

"Anyone ever tell you that you talk too much?" Bucky said with sarcastic irritation to her.

Raising a brow at his tone and expression on his face, Bianca held eye contact. If he wanted to be smart, then she'd play the stupid game. "Anyone ever tell you that you're not as charming as you think?" She fired back with a raised brow and a grin at him. "Yes, they have, to answer your question. It's a nervous thing."

Chuckling at the girl, Bucky shook his head a little, "Another Stephanie, fantastic, she had an attitude too, learned it from her brother." He said dryly looking at his friend.

Steve knew what Bucky meant, he could see the hurt and the torment in his friends' eyes. He'd loved Stephanie, and knowing that she was gone before he even had the chance to make up to her, unlike what Steve had the chance for. He'd had Peggy, even if it wasn't the way he'd wanted. However, Bianca had taken it as an attack.

"Don't take out your frustrations on me Barnes, I know you loved my grandmother, it's not my fault she moved on." She fired at him.

"Bianca," Steve said sharply, turning to look at her, "enough." His tone wasn't harsh or cold, it was soft and warning, his sad eyes watching her. But as he looked at his grandniece, the little girl he looked at as his daughter, all he saw was Stephanie and Dugan staring back at him. With their soft eyes of understanding but the determination to not let someone walk over them like a used rug.

Sam and Steve went about their discussion, trying to figure out what to do about this. Sam had a plan, so now all they had to do was pull it all together.

"So," Bucky started, looking at Sam and Steve then over to Bianca while her uncle and she just looked on another. When she turned a look to him, the way her turquoise eyes looked at him with wide curiosity and understanding, the way she saw into him unnerved Bucky just a bit. But he was suddenly reminded of Dugan. "Dugan then, huh?" he asked. "He did tell me to keep Lou close," he joked a little at the memory.

"You also said you'd have to be dead before he could have her," she answered quickly. She cleared her throat when all three men looked at her with a shock that she even knew that.

"How-"

"Gramps did write you know, and I'm very nosey." She answered Bucky when he'd tried to ask her about it, crossing her arms over her small chest and sighing a heavy breath. No one had known she knew that, hell, there were a lot of things she knew they didn't know she knew.

Chuckling under his breath at her with a shake of his head, running his hand over his face for a moment, Bucky sighed at a painful thought that struck him a little too hard. "How long?" He asked, running his free hand over his face and back through his long hair with a tired sigh.

She looked at him with a frowned brow of confusion, looking between Sam and Steve, trying to figure out what he could possibly be asking about. "What?" she asked him.

"How long, really, before she moved on? The photo is just a photo, things lie, just like people." He said to her. Steve clearly didn't know because the man had died before Steve had even been found.

Still confused why he wanted, or need, to know that, Bianca licked her dry lips and looked away from him, she took in a deep breath before releasing it and looking back to him. "Does it really matter? She loved you, she lost you, she ended up with my grandfather, never married but they had three children." She told him just a little bit uncomfortable.

Looking at the girl, Bucky smiled sadly as he continued to stare at the floor, his hand moving to the thin leather strip tied around his neck and messed with the ring before looking to Steve, "Get me out of this thing, we need to stop this guy before he gets to the others." With the subject changed he waited for a moment for Steve and Sam to share a look before Sam sighed and nodded his head, sarcastically holding a hand out towards him as if giving Steve permission to release him. When he was finally free, Bucky breathed a sigh of relief and rolled his metal arm to loosen up some tension he felt in his shoulder. "Alright, how are we getting there?"

"The Quinjet," Bianca told them holding up a small remote device to show them. "The key to the door,"

"How did you get that?"

Smirking she eased off the wall, though her smirk was wiped off her face when they hear a bike rumbling as it got closer. "Oh, crap," she muttered and rushed out away from them.

Looking to Steve, Bucky gave his friend a look that said he was in trouble, "She's what… Seventeen?" he questioned sarcastically.

"No, no, God no, she is definitely not seventeen, she's fifteen Buck, don't start trying to give me a heart attack. I can't think about that right now. Fifteen is dangerous enough." Steve said back, then began to laugh and rubbed his brow in thought, "I'm in trouble," he sighed.

Hearing a bike come to life and coming into the warehouse, Bucky chuckled and nodded as the girl rode in slowly with the black helmet on the back and parked it with the kickstand before shutting it down. "Don't worry, it's on stealth. I forgot to turn off auto-drive on this thing, it has an automatic return to the one who has the key." She sighed with small annoyance. "However, since I have an assumption that it was let out, I think you three should leave. Like now."

Smirking at Bianca with his arms crossed, Steve raised a brow at her, "And what happened to letting the adults handle things?"

Grinning at the man that raised her the last five years, Bianca nodded with a sideways shrug, "Hasn't changed, I'm simply cleaning up my own mess for a change." She told him sarcastically, "I'll lead them off, stop freaking out, please, I will be perfectly fine."

Chuckling at her claim she'd be perfectly fine, Bucky looked from Steve to her. This was unbelievable. "Yeah, sure, like you were fine in there when they-"

"Sergeant Barnes I do believe you have a bigger bounty on your head than myself-"

"I'm not the one the guards decided to use as a punching bag," Bucky shot back at her.

Looking between the two, Sam shook his head with disbelief, "I can definitely see. I don't like it, but I see it." Sam said turning and walking away.

Confused, the two men and Bianca stared after him, "See what?" they asked in unison. But he had not answered.

Bianca and Bucky shared a look of 'no way'. "Sam Wilson-"

The screams of sirens They froze hearing the sirens as Sam came running back towards them, "Bee! If you have a plane, I'm all for it!" He screamed running back towards them.

Their eyes went wide as the sirens grew louder.

Grabbing the helmet and the two bags behind her, she growled with aggravation. "Uncle Steve!" she shouted, tossing the bags to him and one to Sam running past her and pulling the helmet over her head. "Go!" she shouted at them, roaring the bike back to like, "Ditch the car, go!"

Growling with aggravation, Steve slung the bag over his shoulder as she moved the bike around and headed further into the warehouse and patted Bucky's arm, "Come on,"

"Are you seriously-"

"Trust me, she'll be fine," Steve grumbled. If anyone even thought for a second he liked this, they were dead wrong. "Come on Bucky!" He snapped. He could not believe this. Jumping into the passenger seat as Bucky dived for the back seat, Sam took off.

"Where the hell is Bee?" Sam questioned, speeding down a back road.

"Giving us cover," Steve told him.

"Oh that's just great," he grumbled.

"Take this turn, here, we can lose them and ditch the car. We need a different vehicle." Bucky told Sam. Looking behind them as Sam turned, Bucky smirked as the chase went the other way onto a freeway, "Sooo, is she your niece? Or your daughter, Steve?" He asked.

"Uh, kinda both actually. She still calls me uncle Steve though, sometimes dad, so… That's a good question. Sometimes we get introduced as her uncle and aunt, sometimes her parents. She's confused on how she wants to address us, so Nat and I are kind of just letting her come to us as she wants to honestly." Steve admitted. "There, Sam, the car."

"That piece of crap?" Sam asked.

"Hey, if it moves and is least inconspicuous it's fine with me," Steve said.

"I hate to say it, but you have a very good point- who the heck can you possibly be calling now?" he asked the moment he glanced over and saw Steve with his cellphone to his ear.

"Sharon, we need your help," he jumped right into it.

He sat there looking at the man with big eyes of 'no freaking way,' until she hung up the phone. "You really think she can get our stuff out of lockup?" he asked him.

"Yeah, I do. She said she could get them, I believe her. So, isn't there a guy you want to call that can help us?" Steve asked him, holding out his phone to Sam. "I'll drive, you call."

Bianca laughed as she looked over her shoulder as she made her way onto the freeway, making her way around cars.

"This is hilarious, too slow guys," seeing a jet pull up overhead of the agents who she'd just shaken off, the sound of the bike that dropped down to the ground, Bianca felt her stomach ice over upon seeing the redhead riding up behind her. "Oh shit," forcing herself to calm down she veered off to get off the freeway and punched it. They'd sent her mother after her.
