Chapter 14

When he got to the creates and Black Widow holding her face, Peter felt his panic slam him like a semi-truck hitting him as he look at her condition. "Oh no, no, no, no, oh God. L-Lou?"

"We have to get her out of this," Natasha told him, sniffing back her tears.

Nodding, Peter climbed up onto the crates with a grunt and planted his feet where he'd have grabbed and not slipped or made the unstable creates fall apart any further than they were. Leaning over her, Peter, carefully slid his hand around the back of her head, he was being as careful as he could to check the back of her head, but he felt no blood seeping through the glove, but he almost cried when she smiled up at him. She looked bad. Busted lip, a bruise on the crest of her cheekbone- that not being from his at all, but she looked weak, really weak. It made him think of someone dying. And that terrified him, "Hey Lou, hey, come on, let's get-"

"I'm sorry Pete, but I couldn't go easy on you," Bianca felt a jolt of happiness flood her that he was okay, he looked beat up, but he was okay. But she had wanted to tell him she was sorry. The last thing she'd ever wanted to do was fight him like that, ever. But the laughing cry he gave confused her. "Why are you crying?"

Shaking his head at her, Peter looked her over, he then he found the blood coming through her black shirt at her stomach, not wanting to think of it, he looked back up to her face, "Nothing, don-don't worry about it, Lou, we-we can talk about everything later, okay?"

"That sounds great, cause we both have a lot to tell each other I guess." She whispered, "I'm tired, why am I so tired?"

Not sure what to do, Peter looked over to Natasha frantically talking to T'Challa and the others, but he couldn't find Mr. Stark. "Mr. Stark!" He called looking around for him, "M-Mr. Stark-"

"Let me help, Stark is currently occupied," T'Challa said climbing up to them. Quickly assessing the crates, he saw her injury he hadn't seen before when he'd left her. Taking a calm breath, T'Challa wrapped an arm under her and found the source of her wound. When he looked over at the kid, T'Challa grabbed his arm and gently squeezed his arm in comfort, "She is going to be alright. I will need your help. But for you to help I need to remain as calm as possible. Can you do that?" He asked the boy. When he got a simple nod, T'Challa smiled softly and returned his attention to Bianca, "Bianca, I need you to wrap your arms around me, alright? I have to lift you up. Can you do that?" He asked her, he needed her arms out of the way when the creates collapsed.

Nodding, Bianca attempted to move her arms, by every attempt left her feeling panic, "I can't move anything," she told him, sucking in a fearful breath before she began to panic.

"Okay, okay, easy, breathe- Mss. Romanoff, I need you to calm her down please." He called over for the woman. Watching Natasha rush to the girl and gently taking hold of the back of the girl's head, he listened to her whispering to the girl while he had the kid help him lace Bianca's arms around him and web them together. "Alright, Bianca, on the count of three, I am going to lift you up, you are going to hear a snap, but do not panic. It is only the wood under you. But it will hurt," he informed her carefully. 'Please scream,' he mentally pleaded. Because if she screamed it meant she felt it, meaning her spine was not damaged.

Taking a deep, silent breath, a silent prayer to Bast to help not let her be as hurt as he thought she may be, he snapped the wood and lifted her up. But all they got was a small, cried grunt, and her whimpering cry of her begging him not to drop her. Her cries and pleading had T'Challa holding onto her a tad bit tighter, "Hey, hey, breathe, that's it. I am not going to let you fall, come on," he told her calmly, lifting her up into his arms and carefully climbed down from the crates that he was honestly surprised hadn't collapsed under him and the boy. Hearing the Sirens pulling into the airstrip and surrounding them all T'Challa looked to Mss. Romanoff as she stayed by his and Bianca's side.

Getting the injured to the hospital was a hell of a time, Tony wouldn't hear any reason for anything, but understandably he'd almost lost his best friend that he rolled out with Rhodie in a wheelchair from the X-Ray room after Rhodie's scans had been taken with Vision when they came upon the scene of Natasha sitting in a chair, her head in her hands trembling as she wept. T'Challa was any less than happy as he leaned against a wall a little way down the hall staring a hole into the floor.

"Nat, what happened?" Rhodie asked her, making Tony stop the chair once they got to her. Grabbing her hand and shoulder with concern. But she wouldn't-couldn't, answer him.

"They took the girl," T'Challa answered for her.

"What?" Rhodie snapped with shock.

"Secretary Ross's assistant marched in with a seize order and removed her from the hospital and took her to unknown location disclosed to Mss. Romanoff." Happy said walking up to Tony and Rhodie with a regrated sigh, handing Tony the papers of Seizing for Bianca. "The kid is back in the hotel room, he wants answers about our girl, Tony. But I can't tell him. I-I just can't."

Frantically looking through the Seize order, Tony felt his heart almost give out as he tried to breathe, handing the orders down to Rhodie with a trembling hand, taking a seat beside Natasha with the help of Vision.

"Seize order and arrest warrant, this is hereby an order to…" He stopped at the next few words that made him sick and wanting to swallow his tongue he felt so ill. "Order to induce coma, restriction to bed, cell. In order to contain any potential dangers of others. She's on the fucking wanted list, Tony… And not just any normal Wanted list, it's the government's Red-List of dangers to the planet. A fifteen-year-old girl is on the Worldwide Government Wanted Red-List, right underneath Steve and Barnes. She's in the Raft." Rhodie said, wanting to crumble up the piece of paper, but fought every inch of himself to not do it. They had to keep this, file it. One more strike they could put with Ross's bullshit he was pulling.

It had been hours later when Tony received an angry call from Ross, the man had gone straight into screaming. "What the hell are you talking about, Ross?"

"Don't fuck with me Stark! Where's the girl!" Ross fumed as he looked at the report, the video that was showing him nothing.

"What are you talking about? You're the one who confiscated our girl-"

"Where the hell is she Stark!" Ross shouted once again.

Laughing, Tony, rubbed his forehead with a sigh of exhaustion, now this he thought was hilarious. "You have to be joking? Even unconscious she's still a pain in your ass," Tony laughed.

Huffing, Ross turned off his screen, "This is not funny, Stark. That girl is a danger to our community and Government-"

"I'm sorry, you mean she's a danger to your ego, Secretary," Tony re-clarified. "She humiliated you before any of us even could when you involved our girl- No, it's my turn, Ross. Bianca was perfectly fine in our care, in her father's care, with her mother. Perfectly fine, perfectly safe. Yes, she gets mixed up in our squabbling, okay which is totally normal for her because she is our kid. Our kid, Ross, the Avengers kid. You took her away from us, from her parents, and don't think I don't know about that stunt you pulled in Vienna before the bombing. All of this from the start of you involving Bia is your fault. So, her disappearance is on you, do not try and put that one me. At least before you, I knew how to keep the girl safe. You took her, she is your responsibility now. You find her." Tony growled as he hung up with an annoyed sigh and tossed his phone across the table. He wouldn't be hearing the end of that for some time, but right now he needed to get his helicopter prepped to go talk to Wilson. He knew something, he just knew it, and Ross knew Sam knew something too. Taking a calming breath, Tony sighed and walked down the hall to a hanger where Happy was checking everything. She was just a kid, what Ross was putting the girl through was far worse than wrong. Walking up the jet's loading ramp, Tony walked over to the stripped-down hospital bed with an unconscious Bianca. "Friday, once doctor Cho has arrived I want you to activate the Jets stealth mode. I don't want anyone finding them. Keep me posted on her condition." He requested.

"Of course, boss," Friday responded. Once her sensors captured the Good doctor entering the building Friday started the jet and activated its stealth mode.

"Tony," Helen Cho called, jogging her way into the hanger.

Turning upon hearing his name, Tony smiled with relief at the Doctor, "Helen, thanks for coming." He said, hugging the woman.

Returning Tony's hug, Helen smiled with worry, "Of course, you said Bianca was hurt."

Nervously chuckling, Tony cleared his that as he nodded. "Yes, well, she's more than just hurt Doc. Here's her charts, Medical files, everything. I need you to hide her, and more than just patch her up." Tony explained nervously.

Confused, Helen took Bianca's Medical file and opened it to look at the girl's chart. She was speechless. "Tony, she's paralyzed,"

"Yeah. I know." He answered her quickly. "Helen, I understand that owe you so many answers right now, but I do not have that wonderful, Luxurious, time I had two years ago. Ross has us by the balls here. But we need the munchkin safe. Can you keep her safe?" Tony asked her. His heart was hammering in his chest with panicked nerves.

Watching the mans' panic, Helen nodded. "Yeah, yeah, I think I can keep her safe. But Tony, I can't hide her for too long at the lab. If she's wanted by your government, I cannot stop them from taking her." Helen informed him.

Nodding, Tony took the bag Happy handed him. "Get her fixed up and you won't have to worry about any of you getting caught by any governments,"

Unable to believe this, Helen looked from Tony to the bed strapped down in the center of the jet. With a sigh, she looked back to Tony. "Tony, she's a kid. You can't seriously expect me to believe she's smart enough to run from the government's best-trained people to find other people like your group?" Helen questioned him with disbelief that quickly turned into shock. "Who is this kid Tony?"

"She's the grandniece of Captain America and the adopted daughter of said popsicle man and the Avengers notorious Blackwidow. She was also absorbed into the Avengers family when our United States President personally signed to allow all of us Avengers to adopt her. That Permission, as well as her adoption, was supposed to be permanent. However, Secretary Ross, the snake, had it all stripped from us. Friday can give you a better fly-by-fly on that. Ross had them muzzle her back in Germany. Bee is pissed. And I mean scary pissed. Fifteen is just an age, Helen. This kid is good. Still could do with a lot more training, but she's good. And Ross has done real damage by using me and my team, worse, he has used her family, to hunt her down all because she thought she was doing the right thing by helping Rogers. I just... We have to have this kid safe, Helen. I have to be able to tell the others that she's safe. Healing."

Nodding as she placed a calm hand on his arm, Helen waited for him to take an easy breath. "Okay. I'll take-"

Shaking his head at her, Tony managed to quit her before she told him anything informational. "No, don't tell me where. This bag is Bianca's clothes, her equipment, everything she might need that I could think of in case she has to up and run. Don't worry, everything in here she knows how to use. Thank you again, Helen."

Taking in a deep breath and releasing in, Helen nodded and took the bag from Tony and made her way onto the jet, giving Friday a set of coordinance and allowed Friday to fly while she asset Bianca's condition and the rest of the fifteen-year old's file. It even had the Seize Order signed by Secretary Ross and the Requests filed against the Avengers written by Ross to have the girl removed from all Avengers' custody including Steve Rogers and Natasha Romanoff. The requests, while they read as though Ross was genuinely worried, the vocabulary he used were cold and calculated. "Friday, when did these requests get submitted?"

"Dates were omitted in the database, they likely don't want any formal connection to Bianca's files. And dates of the conferences were also omitted. Mrs. Morganside gave boss copies of her files, it is against the law for her to be sharing any federal information. She can lose everything if Ross found out she was helping us. Therefore, dates were omitted from our Information because other conferences took place that day. The last few requests, however, takes place shortly After the 18th of June. These were hand delivered personally by Secretary Ross. He's doing this because Bianca humiliated him." Friday explained, playing back Ross's presentation.

Helen was aghast at the girl. "Can she not help getting into trouble?"

"Unfortunately, Mss. Cho, I don't think she can help it. Too much like her uncle. Her grandmother had the same behavior apparently. One report Colonel Philip's had to file said she was prone to scolding and overtaking someone's task when done improperly."

"At least it was getting fixed," Helen muttered.

Friday couldn't help but chuckle, "Yes, that is what Stephanie used to say as well apparently. It's right here in one of her files, these are all public records now." She explained.

Smiling, Helen shook her head, "No thank you Friday, I'd like to learn more about my patient here. Seems as though she needs more lessons in patience than most. Obvious bursts of irritation when her family is threatened, as was already shown. Not terrible, however, it's how she manages those encounters that she needs more…"

"Tact?"

"Yes, that might be a better word for it, all in all, those are things I can not teach, well, not entirely. However, her spine- Friday, can you bring up the images of her spine for me?"

Work was done, as usual, Helen checking her patients' charts, medications, the rest of Bianca's physical health. Once she arrived at her facility, Helen personally transferred Bianca to a private room with limited security the still unconscious girl, and began her prep for operation.

While it had gone quite well, Cho had sat by the girl's bedside for hours, sleeping in the recliner chair, she'd been startled awake by a large hand being rested on her shoulder. She'd almost come out of her chair. When she saw Rogers, Helen smiled and rubbed her hands over her face to get rid of the exhaustion. "Captain-"

"It's just Steve, Dr. Cho, I'm no longer Captain America. I am officially on the run," he admitted, his eyes glancing over to Bianca's sleeping form. "How is she?"

Looking at the girl, Helen smiled and stood from the recliner and went about doing a check run for him. "Perfectly healthy," she said with a proud smile. After Ultron had used her to make him a body she'd figured a way to help the parts of a person's body reform bone, nerves, all that jazz the body had. "No scars, her spine is in perfect working order and her leg is all fixed up. She had a torn muscle and rolled her ankle and pulled a tendon. But everything is stitched back together and healed thanks to the Cradle. I've had to keep her sedated a few days longer to make sure everything did heal appropriately since I haven't used the new programming with the cradle we left here deactivated since Ultron. Other than that she'll be a little groggy when she wakes up, but all in all, she should be good to go," Helen told him.

Nodding, Steve took a big breath in. He hated that he was doing this. "Wake her up, then give her this. She'll have to figure things out from here on out for a while."

With her smile dropping instantly, Cho looked from Steve to Bianca then back to Steve, "You're really going to make her go on the run all by herself? Steve, she's fifteen."

"She'll be okay. Scared for a while at first, but she'll be okay. Trust me, I don't want to do this, but I can't take her with me, and neither can Nat. And she can't stay here, Helen. They're coming for her. They suspect she's here, and if they find her, you'll both be arrested. She can't stay here. This is your old facility, if you destroy it they can't tract anything back to you helping her. You can put it down as an accident. Bad wiring, something that could cause this- Pirates that came across and started messing with things they had no idea."

"Rogers, Ross's men are two hours out, have to wake her up, now," T'Challa said rushing in.

Feeling a panic, Cho rushed out of the room and began to look through the medical cabinet, grabbing a syringe and a clear vial and making her way back into the room. "She'll have a massive headache, but she'll wake up in a few minutes, grab that bag over there." She said to Steve, nodding her head over to the small bag.

Rushing for the bag Steve grabbed it and walked it close to Helen only to give her a confused expression, "Okay, what do we do with it?"

Wanting to laugh at him, Helen unhooked Bianca from the IVs "Set it on her recliner, for now. Tony had that bag set up for her in case something like this happened. He's the one who had me take Bianca in the first place. I brought her here to not endanger my team at the new facility, and this was the safest place I could think of. I'm surprised we were able to be here for the few days we were. I need you both to leave, I have to remove a few… Privately invasive tubs," Helen admitted as she carefully injected Bianca. Seeing Steven's raised brow she wanted to laugh at the man but they had both thankfully left the room and closed the door so she could remove the catheter. Once she was finished, Helen opened the room's glass sliding door for them. "Alright, she should be waking up in a few minutes," she told them. "Steve, are you sure this is a good idea?"

"No, not really, but we have to go. T'Challa, let's get ready to blow this place,"

"What! With her still here!" Helen panicked.

"She'll be fine, we'll avoid anything that will drop the facility-" Hearing the beeping of the monitors and the sharp intake of breath Bianca gave with a small moan, Steve ushed them all out. Moving over to her bedside, Steve looked at her for a moment, she was waking up, that was good. Putting an earpiece into her ear, Steve kissed the side of her head. His eyes clenched tightly closed and forced himself to leave the room. Grabbing Helen's hand and made their way to the aircraft they were using, "No, leave that one for Bee, she's going to need it. Come on, we have to go."

Bucky sighed as he looked at Steve running on with the Doctor, T'Challa getting into his personal stealth jet, "You sure we should be doing this Steve?"

"Why does everyone always doubt what my kid can do?" He asked with a slight grumble of aggravation, hitting the button to close the ramp.

"Because she's your grandniece… And Steph's granddaughter who ended up being your daughter at the end of the day… And Natasha's daughter- come on man, I could go on." Bucky informed him, trying to breathe through the pain in his ribs. Stark had most likely fractured a few of them. Or had that been from the fall?

Slightly laughing, Steve jumped into the Pilots chair and lifted them off the platform, "Come on Bee, wake up… Come on… Bianca, you have got wake up kiddo," Steve muttered. "Shit, okay T'Challa, I guess we're going to have to make her wake up. Shake the facility a little bit,"

"This is a bad idea, Steve," Bucky told his friend.

"I agree," Helen said strapping into a seat with worry.

"Yes, I do as well, but the girl does need to wake up... Rather fast actually. Otherwise, we would not be doing things the way we are, Doctor." T'Challa said with a breathed sigh of dislike. Firing one blast at the facility they watched as it rippled outward. While it did shake the facility it also took out more than what T'Challa had been intending to take away from one of the legs. "Well, we had every intention of sinking this place, did we not?" he asked with a slightly annoyed sigh. "She'll have about ten minutes or less to get to the jet."

Finding a little town in Norway, Bianca set the jet down in a clear meadow, unclipped the small bags from her legs and set them aside, and searched through them for any kind of money or identifications. She was far more relieved when she found a few of them, sadly none of them were Norway-related. "Guess I'll have to get one. But I can do that later, dry clothes, shoes, socks, blanket, some food, and back to the jet." She muttered to herself making a list while she made her way into the small town, studying the Passport and ID she held in her hand. Jackie Marian Starlin, Ohio resident. And apparently, whoever had gotten these made had adjusted her age to seventeen, rather than fifteen. "That's a dangerously bold move," she muttered.

"I would say so, my dear," the old man's voice said. An amused smirk on his face as he walked up beside her.

"Oh brother, not you again, can't you let people alone and stay out of their heads? Why am I talking to myself again?" Bianca huffed as she slipped the ID and passport into her pocket, it was then she noticed the old man walking beside her in a yellow jacket and a pale grey shirt, his white hair, and beard were combed to perfection with his cane lightly tapping against the stone sidewalk. "Oh, sorry, I thought-"

"You thought right, but I was not in your head this time, dear girl," the man said with a chuckle as he looked at her. Allowing her to see his face. The patch over his eye.

Bianca stared at the man with wide eyes and her mouth hanging open. She knew that face, she wasn't sure how she recognized him, she just did. It was really weird. Almost like she was having Dejvu.
