"We need a plan," Alex declares.

"Well, we know with Jackson's telekinetic abilities that it's going to be difficult to go toe-to-toe with Brainiac," Kara points out.

Lena nods in agreement. "True, but… Brainy, you said after Brainiac tapped into Jackson's power it seemed to cause him pain…"

Brainy interjects, "Actually, I'm not 100% certain it was Jackson's power that caused that… I believe it may have been Psi's."

"Psi!," Kara reacts, "How did he manage to get Psi's powers?"

Brainy looks at Kara and replies, "Remeber the missing cranial fluid?"

"Yes," Kara says.

"Well, I calcuate there is a 95% chance that Vril Dox cannot find a completely compatible host to inhabit, so he's dispatched his probes around the globe to search for a candidate that could survive long enough to complete his mission."

Nia interjects, "That would explain Brainiac's comment that Jackson's fate is sealed. He knows that Jackson won't survive."

"Unfortunately," Brainy acknowledges. "But I believe he's using the crainal fluid he's extracted from his victims to keep Jackson's brain from shutting down."

"I did see some Kelex-like droids in Brainiac's lab preparing a serum of somekind," Nia remarks.

"So," Lena adds, "Vril is using the crainal fluid from the other vicitims as a stabilizing agent?"

"Not only that," Brainy surmises, "but also as a booster. I believe the serum not only stablizes Jackson's neural pathways, but it also supercharges his telekinetic abilities… and infuses him with the abilties of his other vicitims."

Lena's eyes light up as she realizes, "It's the strain of accessing the other vicitims' abilities that destabilizes them more quickly!"

Alex chimes in, "That's why Brainiac doubled over in pain and transmatted out after hitting you and Kara with Psi's psychic powers."

J'onn remarks, "We need to find out how many victims there are and what abilities they may have had."

"How are we going to possibly find out?", Kara asks.

"The probe we recovered from the confrontation at Al's," Brainy replies. "After you stunned it with your heat vision I had Acrata grab it while we had Vril distracted. She managed to get it back here just before Vril repelled us telekinetically."

Lena asks, "Where is it now?"

Alex replies, "After Andrea got it back here we placed it in containment so that Brainiac would not be able track it or recall it."

"Can we use our captured probe to trace where Brainiac's other probes were dispatched and where his ship is now?", Kara inquires.

"I believe we can," Brainy replies.

J'onn states, "Then let's get to it!"

As the team starts to make their way out of the conference room to head to the containment lab, Lena holds back and says, "Brainy, can I talk to you for a minute?"

Kara reacts, "Meet you downstairs?"

Lena flashes her an affectionate grin and replies, "Yes, sweetie, we'll be done in a minute."

Kara winks, nods, and heads out the door.

Brainy looks at Lena and asks, "What can I do for you Mage?"

"The probe, Brainy!", Lena exclaims. "It may be the answer we've been looking for."

"Are you suggesting that Vril Dox's probe may offer us a breakthrough with the Big Brain issue?", Brainy inquires.

Lena responds, "You said at Al's that even in this era that Vril Dox has been dead for a long time. Assuming the 31st century rulers of Colu haven't interfaced the nanotech directly with the Big Brain…"

Brainy's expression changes dramatically as he begins to put the pieces together. "Then Vril's nanotech may still have the uncorrupted algorithm we've been trying to recover for the last three months."

"Exactly," Lena addes with an encouraging smile.

"I believe I have a plan to end this all," Brainy tells Lena confidently.

Lena and Brainy join the others in the containment lab. Kara turns to them and states, "Agent Cho managed to get the probe interfaced with our system. He's located Brainiac's ship in orbit around the Moon." She points at the monitor and notices the stunned look on Lena's face.

"Is that?!?", Lena remarks somewhat alarmed.

Kara replies with a grim grin, "A giant skull with tentacles? Yep."

Lena utters sarcastically, "Well, that's not creepy at all."

Kara continues, "Cho also identified another one of the probes that has attached itself to a communications satellite."

Agent Cho adds, "The probe used the satellite to hack into anything and everything it could to try and identify potential targets for Brainiac to interface with."

"How many did it find?", Brainy inquires.

"Counting Jackson Seaver," Cho replies, "104."

Lena despondently repeats, "104… oh my God!"

Kara walks over, takes her hand, and squeezes it gently. She looks her in the eyes and says, "Lena, we don't know if he found them all…".

"Were they all alien or meta human?," Brainy asks.

"Yes," Agent Cho answers.

"How many different abilities are we talking?", J'onn asks.

"37," Agent Cho comments.

"So," Nia interjects, "he could hit us with any number of different powers?"

"Yes, he could," J'onn acknowledges. "We need a plan of attack."

Lena looks longingly at Kara, squeezes her hand tightly, and says, "Brainy has a plan."

Alex chimes in, "What have you got Agent Dox?"

"Director," Brainy begins, "Lena and I believe that Vril's nanobots may be the key to end this all."

"Lay it out for us," Alex orders him.

Brainy continues, "As we discussed earlier, Lena and I have been trying to find a solution to the Big Brain's degenerative condition in the future. Vril Dox has been dead for millennia which means, if Colu's rulers imprisoned him without integrating him back into the Big Brain the nanobots may contain the uncorrupted algorithm we've been trying reconstruct. We should be able to use them to not only fix the Big Brain, but also to repurpose Vril Dox once again to become the delivery mechanism for the cure."

"So, what do we need to do?" Kara asks.

Lena replies, "I need to get the probe over to my lab at The Foundation to run diagnostics and see if the intact, uncorrupted algorithm is there."

Brainy adds, "While Lena is working on that I'll be reprogramming the lattice to use on Vril Dox. Our assumption is that the other nanobots will be able to sense any changes we make to this probe's component nanobots, so we'll need to distract them while this probe reintegrates with the rest to deliver our trojan horse."

"So," Alex remarks, "either you or Nia will have to engage with Brainiac via the lattice to allow the reprogrammed nanobots to do their work. How do we get the lattice on him and who goes in?"

Andrea enters the lab just as Alex finishes and says, "I think I'm the only one us that stands a chance of sneaking up on Brainiac. You all keep him occupied, move him into a position where his back is to the shadows, and I'll get it on him."

"That's the how," Nia remarks, "so who's going in?"

"I am!", Brainy insists.

Nia looks at him and nervously asks, "Are you sure?"

"It has to be me," Brainy replies. "You are incredibly gifted and intelligent, but Vril Dox is an 8th level intellect. I'm the only one who stands a chance of keeping him occupied long enough for this to work."

J'onn puts a hand on Nia's shoulder and reassures her, "He's right, Nia."

"I know," she agrees, hugging Brainy tightly. "I don't like it, but I know."

Alex addresses the team, "Lena, you get the probe back to your lab and get to work on the nanobots. Brainy, you work on reconfiguring the lattice to use on Brainiac. Nia, see if you can dream yourself back onto that ship. We could use some recon of its layout to try to and find the best place to direct this fight to. Everyone else, get yourselves ready for a trip to the Big Skull.
