The Legion ship emerges from Earth's upper atmosphere into the cold blackness of outer space. Aboard, on the bridge of the ship, Brainy, Kara, and Lena are seated for their journey to Argo City.

"Should take us about 75 minutes to reach Argo," Brainy informs them. "Have you managed to contact your parents to let them know we're on our way?"

Kara, grinning broadly, "Sure did! The Fortresses' communication system has been outfitted with a direct link to Argo. They're excited and looking forward to seeing us."

"Did you tell them about Kandor?" Brainy inquires.

"Yes," Kara replies. "Needless to say they were stunned. No one on Argo thought that Kandor could have survived all these years."

Brainy, looking regretful, "Vril Dox caused so much chaos and devastation on Krypton and so many other worlds. I hope that by bringing Kandor back to the people of Argo we can start to heal some of those wounds."

Lena stands up, walks over to Brainy, and puts her arms around his shoulders. "Speaking from experience, you cannot allow yourself to be crushed by the weight of guilt for the actions of those you had no control over… even family. We are all responsible for ourselves, and ourselves alone. You, my dear friend, have nothing and no one to atone for."

Brainy squeezes her arms. "Thank you, Lena. Your wisdom and compassion never cease to amaze and comfort me."

"She is something, isn't she?!?", Kara, making her way over to get in on the hugging, sweetly remarks. Lena looks at her and smiles affectionately.

"Better strap back in," Brainy comments, "we'll be making the jump shortly." Kara and Lena let go of Brainy, playfully bump hips, and head back to their seats to strap in.

"Jump in 5, 4, 3, 2, …engaging jump drive!", Brainy announces. Space and light fold around the ship as it zips away at incredible speed.

As their ship re-enters into normal space the viewscreen is filled with awe inspiring site of a sprawling cityscape secured under a protective dome on a large asteroid.

"Oh my," Lena exclaims, "it's incredible! What an absolutely beautiful site."

"I know," Kara agrees. "Krypton had many amazing cities and natural wonders, but to me, nothing else ever compared to the beauty of Argo."

Brainy informs them, "We've received clearance to enter the dome and land."

"We can land in the clearing outside my family's home," Kara notes.

Brainy works his magic with the ship's controls, "I've already received the coordinates and we're on final approach."

Kara's face is glowing with excitement. She turns to look at Lena whose gaze of wonder and amazement at the sprawling alien cityscape on the viewscreen make her heart soar even more.

Brainy skillfully brings the ship in for a landing in the clearing by the monolith with the crest of the House of El, adjacent to Kara's family's home.

The ship's ramp lowers. Brainy, Kara, and Lena make their way down, Brainy carrying the glass jar containing the shrunken city of Kandor against his hip. Standing several feet away from the ship to greet them are Alura and Zor-El.

Kara walks up to her parents, hugging each of them. "Mother, Father… I've missed you both so much."

"And we've missed you, Kara," Alura, smiling brightly, lovingly replies.

Zor-El looks past his wife and daughter to greet Kara's companions, "Brainy, Lena… it is wonderful to see you both again."

Lena walks up and hugs Zor-El, "It's wonderful to see you, too, Zor-El. How are you?"

"I am good, Lena, thank you," Zor-El smiles and nods.

"Zor-El, Alura," Brainy addresses them, "thank you for welcoming us to your home." Lifting the glass jar from his left side, he reaches it out in front of himself, "I regret the dark and sorted history between the Brainiac clan and Krypton. My descendants were cruel, dispassionate, selfish creatures that left little more than despair and chaos in their wake. I hope that by returning this precious item to you and your people that perhaps we may begin to heal some of the scars of the past."

Zor-El takes the jar from Brainy with an appreciative nod, "My friend, though I only had the privilege of spending a short time with you after our rescue, I know from that experience you are a valiant, honorable, and compassionate man. My daughter cares deeply for you and with good reason. You are a part her family, which makes you part of our family, too. You will always be welcome on Argo and in our home. Thank you for returning Kandor to us." Zor-El and Brainy grip each other's forearms and shake.

Alura smiles at them, "Yes, Brainy, you are always welcome here."

Kara, grinning broadly, reaches for Lena's hand, and pulls her closer. "Mother… you remeber Lena?"

A radiant smile spreads across Alura's face, "I do, and your Father has spoken very foundly of her, as well."

Zor-El looks at the girls holding hands, notices the rings, and says, "Daughter, I am happy to see you two have finally found the truths of your hearts."

Lena smiles sweetly. Kara lets go of Lena's hand, walks over to her Father, and hugs him, "I love you, so much. How did you know?"

Zor-El glances tenderly at Kara, "If you mean in this moment.. I noticed the matching rings and saw the glow in your eyes when you re-introduced Lena to your Mother. If you're referring to before… I knew the first time I saw you together in the Tower," Zor-El motions Lena over, takes her hand, and places it in Kara's, "that you are two souls linked by a love that burns brightly and passionately."

Alura walks over and takes each of the girls' other hands, "When Zor-El returned to me he told me about the amazing family you both have built on Earth and how he hoped desperately that you both would grow to understand and embrace the truth of your love for another. I'm so happy you have."

Lena and Kara look at each affectionately, lean in, and kiss each other.

Brainy points at the bottle city of Kandoe in Zor-El's hand, "We should head over to the science academy to analyze the condition of the city and its inhabitants, and discuss next steps in finding a suitable location to eventually return Kandor to its former state."

Zor-El responds, "Excellent idea, Brainy! Follow me."

Alura, looking at her radiant daughter with the love of her life, says, "Kara, we should take Lena on a tour of Argo"."

Lena's eyes light up. "That would be amazing! I'm so excited to finally see where this one grew up before her remarkable journey to my world."

Kara, looking at Lena, her eyes sparkling with joy and love, says, "This is like a dream come true. Let's go!"

Kara reaches out, takes her Mother's left hand and Lena's right hand as they walk towards the city.

Later in the day, Kara and Lena are walking through the wooded area surrounding the House of El.

"I'm curious about something," Kara remarks.

Smiling, Lena asks, "What's that?"

"How did you find out that Kal and Clark are the same person?", Kara asks.

Lena gives her a mischievous grin, "Please, after realizing how silly a disguise your glasses were…".

Kara exclaims, "Lena! Seriously, I know Kal is very protective of his secret identity."

"Okay," Lena gives her a reassuring glance. "Kal told me."

Kara, eyes widens, a stunned look on her face. "Really?!? When?!?"

With a pleased look on her face, Lena replies, "A couple of weeks after our fight with Lex and Nyxly, Kal came by the Tower one afteroon when I was there alone studying my grimoire. He apologized to me for assuming the worst about me when we met for simply being a Luthor. He thanked me for helping to bring you back from the Phantom Zone, told me how happy he was that you and I had each other, and because you considered me family, he did too. He told me he finally understood what you always saw in me and why you never gave up on me."

Kara beams, "I can't believe it. I never thought I would live to see the day. That's truly wonderful."

Lena stops under a large tree, turns to look at Kara, and takes her hands. "Is it just me, or does it seems like everyone in our lives saw this coming, except us?"

Kara gigglels and smiles playfully. "I don't know what you mean."

"Please," Lena replies sarcastically. "Alex, Kelly, Eve, Kal… heck, even your Father saw it."

Kara squeezes her hands, "We traveled a winding, challenging road to arrive at this place in our lives. There were some good decisions, many regrettable, but all necessary to the journey."

"You sound so certain of that," Lena remarks with a sense of admiration.

Kara turns, leads Lena over to a log by an area of shrubs, and sits them down. "I may never be able to tell you the exact moment that I should have known how I truly felt, but I can tell you without doubt that all the stops along our journey were absolutely necessary."

Puzzled by her conviction, Lena asks, "How?"

Kara takes a deep breath and looks deeply into Lena's eyes. "A short time after you confronted me in the Foretress with the truth of how long you had known my secret, Mxy visited me to make amends for trying to force me to marry him."

Still confused, Lena remarks, "And?"

Kara continues, "He gave me the George Bailey treatment." She notices Lena still looks lost. "Remind me at Christmas we have to watch 'It's a Wonderful Life'. Anyway, Mxy offered me the chance to look back at all the critical moments of our relationship and see what would have happened if I had confided in you sooner."

Shocked, Lena says, "You're kidding?!?"

"Nope," Kara shakes her head. "I'm completely serious and we looked at every possible alternate timeline. We even went back to the moment I came to see you after Clark's visit, when you first told me you were not looking to be friends. I told you my secret in that moment…".

Lena, curious, "And what happened?"

Kara puts a hand on her cheek and caresses it gently, "They all ended tragically. In most you were just as devastated by my betrayal as you were in our unaltered timeline, but regardless of how you reacted when you found out something bad always happened."

Lena places her hand on Kara's cheek. She leans in, kisses her, and says, "So what you're saying is the only way to the truth of what we've been destined to be was through the ups and the downs, learning and growing from each step along the way?"

"Yes," Kara says with an astonished look on her face, "I suppose I am. Wow, I'm starting to sound more like you everyday."

Lena pulls Kara into a tight embrace and says, "That's because you and I, we are joined by our hearts, our souls, the very fabirc of our beings. We are stronger together. El mayarah, my love."

Kara holding Lena tightly and stroking her hair, recipricates, "El mayarah… my heart, my becon, my love."
