Yay two chapters in one day. I will try to work on another today and possibly get it out to y'all. Tomorrow will be my day off but I will try to at least get a chapter out.
Chapter 4 January
Edward POV
It has been a two weeks since Bella and Oliver moved to Port Angeles and we have been spending most of that time together. I would go to her house when I had a day off and we would hang out with Oliver at the house or take him to the park. It's also been two weeks since I asked Bella out but we haven't really talked about that. Like at all. I don't want to push her and I'm definitely out of my league. I have never dated someone who's a mom. She has a son to take care of and that takes most of her time. I love watching her be a mama. She's just so caring and patient with him. Never gets mad or stressed. But Oliver makes it easy. He's a great kid who absolutely adores his mother. His eyes light up whenever she's in the room and if she moves Oliver's right next to her. Today is Ollie's first day at daycare and I think Bella is more nervous then he is. He went to the college daycare in Seattle but Bella said he was never there for more then 2 hours before she went to get him. Or Emmet and Alice would get him and watch the little dude till Bella got home. Now he's going to go for at least five hours a day so Bella can get some baking done. And according to Bella, Oliver has never been away from her longer then 4 hours. She likes to keep him close to her, and I understand that. She is all he has. How James could let either of them go is beyond me. Oliver is the greatest kid to walked this earth. He shows so much love to anyone and there no way you can not be happy when you are around him. I was under his spell of cuteness and I was more then okay with that.
And then there Bella. My beautiful Bella. She is the most perfect human being. Once she takes you under her wing she will spoil and love the hell out of you. She will feed you to death with delicious food and cookies. I swear I have already gained 10 pounds from all this food.
I am filling out charts when my phone pings. I pull it out of my pocket and smile when I see Bella had texted me.
Hey Dr Cullen. Thinking about you and wanted to say hello. ~Bella
Hi gorgeous. I'm always think about you. How's your day going so far? ~Edward
Ugh. It's been bad, Oliver did not want to get up this morning and was cranky. He cried when I dropped him off at daycare and I feel terrible! I will probably go back and get him in a few hours. ~Bella
Oh no! Poor little guy. Listen I get off at 2:00 do you want me to stop by and get him for you. I know you have been looking forward to baking again. ~Edward
Edward that's so sweet, but I couldn't ask you do that. ~Bella
Well then good thing you didn't ask me. I offered darling. Call the daycare and let them know I will pick him up. You go bake and I will grab some lunch and bring it home with us. ~Edward
Thank you. I will let them know. Do you still have his extra seat in your car from Saturday? ~Bella
I smiled. We had taken Oliver to a big park in Seattle and had taken my car. Bella forgot to grab his car seat when we got home and I honestly have liked seeing it in my backseat. It makes it feel real that I'm apart of their life.
Yes I do, don't worry we will be find. Go bake some sweets. I will see you later. Beautiful Bella. ~Edward

I smiled and put my phone back in my pocket and tried to rush though my work. Being a intern was no fun. I had to do all the work that the residences did not want to deal with. Pretty much filling out charts and dealing with the gross part of patients. This was my last year at a intern and by June I will hopefully be a resident and be done with all this shit. I always wanted to be a doctor like my dad but now I'm kinda regretting it. The hours are long and I feel like I'm barley ever out of this hospital. The only reason I'm off early today is because I have met my hours for the week. Well I am actually over the hours I should be here, but that's common around here. They let me leave at 1:30 so I went and stopped at a diner not to far the the hospital and got everyone cheese burgers and fry's I also order Bella some onion rings because I knew she loved them. Once I had the food I took it to the car and entered in PA child care center into my phone maps and was on the way to get the little man.
I pulled into the lot right at 2 and quickly got out of the car. When I walked in I was amazed at how cool this place was. It was decorated like Noah's ark and had huge mural's of the boat and all the animals. Right in front of me was a front desk that was empty and two doors on either side of it. I walked to the front desk and ran the bell. "Hello" I called out. a older woman with graying hair popped her head around the corner and gave me a big smile. "Hello! I am Mrs Cope I own the place. How can I help you today?" I shook her hand and asked. "I'm here to pick up Oliver Swan. His mother should have called to let you know" she looked down at the chart and nodded. "Yes Mrs Swan did call. Let me just go get Oliver for you. Would you mind signing him out on this paper" she handed me a clipboard and walked to a classroom a few doors down. I signed him out and waited for Mrs Cope to come back with Ollie. The classroom door opened and she came out holding Oliver in her arms and a diaper bag in her hand. As soon as Ollie laid eyes on me he started crying big crocodile tears and was reaching for me. I quickly took him out of Mrs Cope's arms and hugged him to be. "Hey, hey. What's going on buddy. It's all right" he didn't say anything just tucked his head into my neck. His little sniffles breaking my heart. "Has he been like this all day?" I asked a bit worried that he was this upset. "He cried when Mrs Swan dropped him off but he calmed down and had fun playing with the other kids. I sent pictures to your wife of him playing and eating lunch. The first day is always the hardest and most of the time the children will cry when they see mom or dad at the end of the day." I nodded and kissed the top of his head. "I'm actually not his dad. I'm Edward Cullen. I'm dating his mother." Mrs cope quickly apologize, but I stopped her. I didn't mind people thinking he was mine or that Bella was my wife. Me and Bella really need to figure out where this relationship is going because I just told Oliver teacher that I was her boyfriend. Is that what I am? No I'm not. Well not yet at least. I will make sure I ask her to be my girlfriend when the time is right. Now I needed to get her to go on a date with me first. I thanked Mrs cope and took Oliver to the car. He had calmed down but had snot and tears all over his face and my shirt. I grabbed a wipe from his bag and cleaned up his face. He was telling me about his day and his teachers. Told that they had Batman toys there like the ones he had at home. I smiled and listened to every word. "You ready to go home Ollie man?" He nodded asking where his mama was and that he wanted her. "Mama is at home. Let's go get her and eat some lunch okay" he nodded. I could already see his eyes were getting heavy and I knew he would be out of it when we got home. I checked his seat one more time before getting in the front and driving to Bella's.
When I got to Bella house I pulled in behind her Honda and parked the car. Sure enough Oliver was passed out, his head was leaning forward and he looked so uncomfortable. I got out and went straight to his side of the car and carefully got him out. He only stirred a bit as I laid his head on my shoulder and grabbed his bag. Bella was standing at the door with a smile on her face. She was wearing skin tight jeans and a white top with a green apron on that was covered in flower. Her long brown hair was pulled into a high ponytail and she had never looked more beautiful. "Hi ya gorgeous" I said kissing her cheek. She smiled and carefully took Oliver from me. She kissed his face as she walked upstairs to put him to bed. I hung his bag on the hook by the door and went back out to the car to get the food.
I had everything dishes out when Bella came back downstairs. She smiled and put her arms around my neck and I immediately wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her closer. She held my face in her hands and bought her lips to mine. Our kiss was slow and sweet and I never wanted it to end. I never knew it could be like this. To feel like this. She pulled away with a small smile. Her lips now pink and swollen. She resting her forehead on mine. "Not that I'm complaining, but what was that for" she chuckled quietly and kissed me again.
"For you being you" she said her lips brushing against mine with each word. "You take such good care of us" I smiled and gave her a small peck. "I try. Now come eat before the food gets more cold" we laughed and sit down the eat our food. As we were cleaning up the table I finally asked I couldn't wait another second with out knowing. "Will you go out with me Friday?" She looked at me and thought for a second. I started to get worried after a minute. Is she going to turn me down? "I would love to Edward. Let me see if Charlie and Sue can watch Ollie for me" I couldn't help but give her another quick kiss. "You won't regret it baby" she blushed and quickly fled to the safety of the kitchen. I shook my head and laughed at her. This girl will keep me on my toes and I will love every single second.
