Chapter 7

Edwards POV February

Me and Bella have been dating for 3 weeks now and we haven't told a lot of people we are date just yet. We have been enjoying one another and hang out getting know each other better. We told Alice of course because she lives here and we can't really hide that. Alice was excited and happy that Bella was dating her brother. We also told Oliver and explained it the best we could to an almost three year old and he seemed excited for the most part, which I was happy about. I knew it was easier on Bella seeing him happy. We both always try to put him first, like every Saturday Bella and I take him on a date with us and this Saturday we are going to the zoo for his birthday! Bella is planning him a party for mid February where everyone could come and celebrate with us. Oliver was born on February 3rd and today was the second of February. I was trying to get everything ready for tomorrow. Saturdays has very quickly became my favorite day of the week. Everywhere we went everyone around us thinks that Oliver is mine and just got all of Bella's looks. Me and Bells got tired of telling people the long story of how Oliver is not mine I'm just dating his mother, so now we just go with it.

Today Bella needed work late so I offered to pick him and she could bake later. Bella has been getting jam packed with orders for Valentine's Day. She was able to get the small storefront not to far from the house for a really good price. Her dad pushed her to go ahead and get the place and was a silent investor. Bella wanted to get though Februarys online orders before she tried to start opening up the bakery. She's been working in the store's kitchen so she can get her work separate from her home.

I was able to get off work early enough to pick up Ollie and got to his school right on time. I parked the car and walked into the daycare and up to the front desk "hello I'm Edward Cullen. I'm here to get Oliver Swan." Hopefully one day Oliver Cullen if this relationship goes the way I hope.

"oh yes Ms Swan called and said that you will be picking him up. I will have him right out." I nodded backing away from the desk. His classroom door opened up and Oliver came running out as fast as his little legs could go. "EIDDIE." He yelled I always hated when people called me Eddie but when Oliver does, it just makes my heart happy "Ollie man" I picked him up and kissed his cheek then noticed two old women staring at us one of them being Mrs Cope. "Thanks! You ladies have a wonderful evening." Oliver waved to them and we walked to my car hand and hand. As I was strapped him in his car seat he looked up at me with those big brown eyes that melt my heart. His mother has the same affect on me. "Eddie you gonna marry mama" I looked at him surprise written on my face. "Yeah buddy. One day I will marry your mama" He smiled. "Are you okay if I were to ask Mama to merry me?" he nodded his head up and down, his brown hair bouncing around his face."Yes! Would that make you my daddy?" Woah shit what do I say? Me and Bella never discussed this. We've only been dating for three weeks. "why would you say that Ollie" "Dylan's mommy is married to his daddy right?" I nodded. "So you my daddy now?" Well Shit I'm gonna have to talk with this Dylan kid and maybe his parents he seems to know more then a 4 year old should. "Well do you want me to be your daddy?" He smiled as big as he could jumping around in his seat the best he could. "Yesss Eddie. I Haves no daddy. I want you to be my daddy" his little voice was so sad and I honestly I could have cried hearing that. He has enough faith in me to tell me what's on his mind and something that has clearly been bothering him. "We will have to talk with mommy about this okay." He nodded a little frown on his face. "Cheer up little dude. It's just me and you for awhile and we're gonna have tons of fun" he gave me a small smile and asked for his juice officially ending the conversation as his mind went somewhere else. After I made sure he was settled I closed his door and walked around to mine. Damn this is happening fast. And for some reason this not scarring the shit out of me. If you would have told me six months ago that I would be with the women of my dreams who happened to be a mother to an awesome kid. I would have laughed in your face. I never really saw myself as a dad but I'm completely okay with being that little boy's daddy. But I don't think that Bella is ready for that yet. I feel like she still thinks that one day I'm gonna just up and leave her and Oliver. Like that would ever happen. Bella has ruined all other women. She's it for me, I couldn't imagine being with anyone other then Bella. And to even think about leaving Bella and Oliver made me want to throw up my lunch.

We drove over to my house so I could stop and grab some comfy clothes and get out of my work ones. Oliver and Bella have never been to my condo as we are always at their house. "We're gonna stop at my house for a second okay Oliver" I explained to him as I was taking him out of the seat. Bella liked for people to talk to him and explain things because even though he was just a kid he still deserved to be treated with respect and know what's going on. After I got him out of the car I went to sit him down as he is usually very independent and likes to walk but his arms clamped around my neck and he shook his head no. "I'm surprised Oliver. I thought you were all grown?" He just shrugged tucking his head in my neck and playing with the collar of my shirt. I patted his back and head inside the lobby to the elevator. I guess my little man just needed some extra love today. Oliver was pretty amazed that I had a elevator in my house and I had to explain that I didn't have a elevator in my house that I just needed to use one to get to my house. I walked down to door #203 and unlocked the door. I sit Oliver down inside as he walked in looking around before running to the wall to floor windows that looked over the city.

I used to love my house but since being with Bella my house does not feel like home anymore. It feels empty and cold. No family photos all over the place or throw pillows on the couch. No toys or anything fun for Oliver.

Bella's house was so warm and inviting. When you were there you never want to leave. Now my house just represents how alone I used to be, all I ever did was work, eat, sleep and do it all over again. Now I had something to live for and made me more happy then I thought was possible.

(Later that night)

Once we got home I got Oliver fed and bathed and got mine and Bella's dinner is in the oven. Bella should be home any second. Me and Oliver were sitting on the couch watching Bluey on Disney when Bella got home. I got up to meet her at the door and gave her small kiss. "Hey baby missed you." She said taking her shoes off as I helped her with her coat. "I missed you to. Did you have a good day at work?" She nodded and put her arms around my neck "yes but I wished I was at home with my boys the whole time" I smiled placing a kiss on her nose. She looked around before her eyes met mine again. "Where's Ollie?" I laughed and pointed to Oliver who had passed out on the couch. She smiled and kissed me. "Your the best Eddie ever." I blushed looking at the floor before walking over to Oliver and picking him up. Me and Bella went upstairs and together got him in bed. He woke up long enough to give Bella a hug and kiss mumbling that he missed her. Bella stayed upstairs to take a shower so I went back downstairs and got dinner plated up. I poured Bella a glass of her favorite wine and grabbed me a beer. I sit down at the table and waited for Bella. I had some work email that I was looking over when Bella came downstairs in a set of dark pink pajamas. They were shorts and a thin tank top, I could see her nipple though the front of her shirt! My pants got quite tight as I pulled Bella into my lap. "Do you have any idea how sexy you are, Swan?" She giggles wrapping her arms around my neck and playing with the little bit of hair I had there. "Nothing compared to you Dr Cullen" I brought my lips to hers and pulled her as close as I could. "I got asked me some intense questions by your son today" I told her as we were finishing up with dinner. "Oh really what was that? Hopefully it was the sex talk because I didn't want to do that." I laughed and shook my head "Nah I'm saving that one just for you." She laughed and took a slip of her wine nodding her head for me to continue. "He asked me if I was..um if I was gonna marry you." She didn't look too surprised or upset at all. "Oh and what did you tell him" I smiled "I told him yes that one day I will hopefully marry you." She smiled and leaned over to kiss me. "Good because I want to marry you too." I smiled and got to the harder part of the conversation. "Then he asked me if I was going to be his daddy." That one got her. Her eyes went wide and she choked on her wine. "Edward I'm really sorry. He's just a kid and I-" I grabbed her hand and put my mouth over hers to stop her apologizing. "Don't apologize beautiful. I am so happy he was comfortable enough with me to ask me that" she smiled. "I asked him where this was coming from and what got this on his mind" I explain to her what Dylan said and how we should probably talk to his parents. "Then I asked him and if wanted me to be his daddy and he said yes and so I told him that we would talk to you about it." She looked like she had tears in her eyes and she blinked trying to get them to go away. "and how do you feel about that." she asked so quietly that I almost couldn't hear here. I smiled trying to calm her nerves. "Wonderful! I know it's fast and if this would have been someone else kid it would have scared the shit out of me but It's not. He's yours and I love that little boy so much and would love to be his daddy one day." She smiled and kissed me tears running down her cheeks. "He loves you to Edward so so much. We will just tell him we are opened to the idea and let him go at his pace." I nodded and kissed her again. "He mentioned how he's never had a daddy and it seem like it really bothered him" Her beautiful face went from happy to sad. "He did" I nodded, more mad a James then ever. Oliver could have had a dad his whole life if James wasn't such an asshole. "God I could kill James for making my baby feel this way" I nodded again agreeing with her on that one. I wish so bad I would have been the one at that party. I would have never left either one of them. We would probably have been married right now, in a house maybe with a dog and a white picket fence. But sadly life did not go that way. But at least I had them now and the last thing I was going to do would be leaving either one of them ever.

Me and Bella spent the rest of the night cuddling and watching some TLC show that Bella was into and if I'm being honestly I've gotten sucked in too. When it got late I kissed her and started getting ready to head out. "Wait Edward" Bella asked grabbing my hand and pulling me back to the couch with her. "Stay with me" she whispered. "Oliver doesn't get in my bed anymore and I would love if you stayed with me tonight" I wrapped my arms around her and excepted the invitation. "You think I would decline the offer to hold my beautiful girl all night! I'm not crazy" she laugh giving me a kiss. I could tell we both wanted more then just a small kiss but Oliver was just right upstairs and we needed to be smart well smarter then we were in the dining room.

Together we locked up the house and turned off all the lights. We peeked into Oliver's room to make sure he was alright for the night, before going to Bella's room. I saw that her phone charger and books were on the nightstand on the left side of the bed and I had a little Victory dance in my head because I always had to sleep on the right side of the bed. I have since I was just a little boy.

She went to her bathroom and locked the door so I went to Alice's and quickly brushed my teeth before going back to Bella's room. I was just in sweatpants and a T-shirt so I just pulled that off and got in bed with just my pants. After a few minutes Bella came out of the bathroom with a clean face and crawled into bed snuggling into my side and tangling her legs with mine. "Good night Edward" she kissed me softly and pulled away laying her head back on my chest. "Goodnight my Bella"
