Hello everyone. Sorry for a late chapter. I have had the worst day that ended in me quitting my job!!! It was honestly the best decision for me and I was happy with it and I know this next season of my life will be interesting to say the least lol. But this just means I will have more time to write for a little bit and who knows. Maybe I could get out two chapters a day!
Chapter 14
Bella POV March
Spring was fully upon us now, thank God! The snow on the ground was melting away and the sun had come out to play. The flowers were beginning to grow in the backyard and were so lovely. It's crazy that it's already March, we're almost half way though March now. We have been spending most of our time outside in this warmer weather.
Oliver has fully been using his fenced in backyard. We had got him a little sandbox and a set of swings. He seemed to love it. He manly used the sandbox to make Monster truck arenas and use his grave digger car to bust though the sand and do big jump. Emmet had taken him to a monster truck show for his birthday and Oliver has been hooked since. Oliver has even got Edward sucked in. I actually thought that was sweet. It brought them closer and even let the relationship between Emmet and Edward grow.
My business has been going really well. I have three employees that work for me and are all very sweet. We were able to open our doors two weeks ago and each day is packed till we run out of everything. We haven't started taking online yet, as that will be my job but I have been so focused on the store and we just closed the online orders for now.
Alice moved out last week and now I have an empty spare bedroom. It makes me sad each time I walk by but I know she is loving living with Jasper. Alice been doing a lot of wedding planning even though she still has months! Her and Jasper asked me to make their wedding cake and I was so excited about that. We have already picked the perfect design and it will be perfect!
And Edward my sweet and loving Edward. Him and I have some how grown closer in these past few week. And I have fallen more in love with this man. He pretty much lives here and I love it! He still has his condo and his lease will be up in the beginning of June and he hasn't come out and asked yet but I think he wants to let it go and move in here fully. It may seem fast but we are moving at a pace that works for us. I know Edward is ready for that next step but I really want to ask Oliver what he thinks about it and if he wants his Eddie living with us.
Oliver has taken every in strides. He has adjusted perfectly to his new school and has made lots of friends. Oliver loves coming to the cafe after school and helping me bake. I try to do some things with just me and him so he doesn't feel left out. After our weekend away in Seattle, I took him to a park and ice cream date and just spent some one on one time with my baby.
Oliver has just grown so fast and I feel like these years are slipping though my fingers. We actually had his birthday party on February 17th. We did a Batman theme of course, like we could have done anything else. Edward was so cute planning this party and kept on saying "only the best for our boy" oh my heart! And Ollie definitely got the best we would. We rented out a place that had everything bouncy house you could think of. We invite my family and Edwards parents. Oliver had invited 5 boys from his class, one being his best friend Sam and surprisingly enough one little girl named Victoria. She was a beautiful little girl with the brightest red curly hair I had ever seen. She stayed close to my son though the whole party. My heart hurt a little bit because he's still my baby and I'm not ready to share my son with a girl.
Edward laughed at me. Saying they were only 3 and didn't look at it that way. But still! It was hard and I'm not ready! But all and all the party was a hit. Edwards parents got along great with my dad and step mom and I was grateful for that because I want our family's to get along well. Emmet had brought a date to the party. Her name was Rosalie and she looked like a freaking model with her long legs and perfectly curled hair. Her eyes were like violet purple and for a moment i though they might be contacts but I don't think they are. She was very sweet just quite and shy not wanting to talk to much just stayed by Emmet and watch taking everything in.
My big brother seemed like a love struck puppy and I knew they would get married. I had never seen my brother look at any of his girlfriends like this. He had been talking about her non stop. Always Rosalie this and Rosalie that. It was kinda annoying but it made me so happy to see him happy. Everything was settling into place and I couldn't help but feel like something was going to change and it didn't seem like it would be a good one.
The kitchen door slammed open knocking me out of my thoughts and I started stirring the cupcake batter again. "Bella were out of red velvet cupcakes! Are we making more today because people are asking" I laughed showing her the bowl of red velvet batter. Jane was one of my new employees, her and her twin brother Alec both worked here actually. Jane and Alec maned the front desk and let us know when we were out of items. They were only 19 fresh out of college and needed a fast job and they both had great resumes. Then there was Felix my second baker and right hand man. He had gone to culinary school and was working in a high In restaurant but his passion was baking and he wanted to work here. He liked the idea of a small business and thought it would be a good learning experience. His skills were AMAZING and he always shocked me.
"I just need to pop these in the oven but I have a rack that's cooling" I thought for a second tapping the tops of the cupcakes. "Let them know it will be about 20 minutes and I will bring them out" I told Jane. She let out a deep breath and gave me a thankful smile. "Thanks Bella! You just saved our lives!" I shook my head going back to working on these cupcakes.
I slid the tray of perfect red velvet cupcakes into the display case. These were out best sellers. We always pulled out a bit of the middle of the cupcakes so the cream cheese icing was in every bite. I grabbed a box and put one red velvet and one blueberry lemon tart into the box and closed it up. "We'll team. I'm off for the day I have to get Ollie man from school but Felix is locking up tonight but after the last customer y'all have at 6:00 I want you to two lock the front doors and turn off the open sign. Along with wiping the counter and tables. And make sure to take some goodies home with you. Felix works later since he will stay and bake but I will see you all Monday and I hope you have a great weekend!" I gave each one a hug and thanked them for their hard work. I left at 3:45 to get Oliver from school and most days I came back to the shop with him for a few hours but it was Friday and I wanted to get home to my boys and relax! Sometimes being the boss had its pros.

"And Guess what Mama" Oliver asked with a mouth full of cupcake. "Chew your food first Oliver" he rolled his eyes dramatically swallowing his bite before showing me his empty mouth. "Gross. So what did you want me to be guessing son?" He giggled before turning more serious. "Monday is bring dad to school dad, or grandpa or even your uncle" he went off on how his teacher Mrs Denali told them how not every kid could bring their dads and that's why you could bring your papa or uncle. "Anyway. I um..well I wanttoaskeddietogo" he rushed out looking nervous, his face becomes flushed. "Oliver baby. You can tell me anything! There is so reason to get so flustered" I reached across the table and held his hand. "I really want Eddie to go" he whispered. "But what if he says no mama" I sighed and grabbed him putting him in my lap. "Honey! I am sure Edward would be so happy you want him to go. I don't think he would say no Ollie" his fingers played with the buttons on my shirt not meeting my eyes. "You think so" I cupped his chin making him meet my eyes again. "I know so. He will be here soon. Just ask him baby" he nodded hugging me. "Will you help me mama?" I faked a gasp. "Well I would be honored Mr Swan" he giggled and asked what we should do to ask Edward. I had a perfect idea.

Edward POV
I slammed my car door shut and beat my fist on the steering wheel. Today I lost a patient and I've lost a few patients but this time it was a 4 year old little boy who had brain cancer since he was 9 months old. I knew going into pediatrics would be hard but gosh to watch a 4 year old die in his parents arms was almost to much to deal with. He was just barely older then Oliver and now he was gone. The little guy had fault so hard and I was definitely real proud of how far he made it.
I pushed my close fist to my mouth trying to hold in a sob as tears tracked down my face. I needed my family. I knew they were both just fine but I wanted to see it for myself. I loosened my tie and went to Bella house that felt more like home then anything else. I wanted to hold both of my loves in my arms and breathe in their smells. I knew that was the only thing that would calm me down.
I pulled into the driveway behind Bella's Honda and just sit for a minute and tried to get my emotions in control. I smiled at the front yard. Oliver's toy was all in the grass, his green bike laying on the ground in front of the stairs. I could make out their silhouettes in the front windows their faces hidden by the curtains. With them in my mind I got out of my car and my feet carried me to the door.
The wonderful smell of meat pie filled my nose and I smiled. My sweet Bella picked the perfect day for that. I closed the door and dropped my keys in the bowl and taking my coat off while toeing off my shoes. I unbuttoned my sleeves rolling them up my arms as I walked towards the sound of the music coming from the dining room.
Bella and Oliver were standing there with big smiles on their faces. The table was set and the candles on the table had been lit with soft jazz in the background. "Guys! This looks great!" Oliver jumped into my arms giving me a big hug and kiss on my cheek. "Hey baby" I whispered to Bella as I kissed her lips. "So what is this all about" Oliver froze his eyes locking with Bella's. She shook her head before grabbing my upper arm. "Can't we make you your favorite dinner and spoil you for a bit. I shugged. I guess so. Bella had me sit Oliver down and pushed me in my chair before putting a big helping of meat pie on my plate. "Are you sure you guys aren't just buttering me up?" She winked and helped Oliver with his plate. "Can it Cullen. Just enjoy it"
Dinner was amazing as always. I don't think I have ever had a meal from Bella That was not good. "Umm..Hey Eddie" my eyes shot up to me his nervous brown ones. "What's up buddy. Is everything alright Ollie?" I looked to Bella and she gave me a big smile before nodding to Oliver. "I made you something tonight" his teeth sunk into his bottom lip as he handed me a folded piece of paper. I gave him a big smile to ease his nerves. "Wow thanks buddy!" I opened the paper and gasped. It was a picture of me and Oliver but what made me gasped was he had wrote daddy above my head and Ollie on his. Down in the bottom was a list.

1. My dad always says in the coolest
2. My dad never gets upset even when I make big messes
3. My dad is my biggest hero and my best friend
4. My dad loves to watch Batman movies with me and will play monster trucks with me all day
5. My dad makes me smile even when I'm sad
6. My dad can save people from their boo boos
7. My dad has made my mama smile lots and lots and I like that
8. My dad will always love me. No matter what
I had tears going down my cheeks with a huge smile on my face. On the left side of the card asked if I would go to bring your dad to school day on Monday but he didn't want anyone other then his dad to go with him.
I grabbed the card and gave him the biggest hug and possibly held a little to tight. "Oh Oliver!" My voice broke. "I would love to go with you bubba. I'm so happy you think of me this way. I love you so much Oliver" Bella was crying watching the two of us and I was too.
This little boy has been though so much but yet he trusted me enough to be his dad. Oliver wanted me to be his daddy. My heart felt like it was going to burst at the seems right now. How I got so bless is Beyond me but I will thank whoever every single day for these two beautiful humans I was blessed with.
Aww little Ollie spoke up and told Eddie what was on his mind! This family honestly makes my heart so happy. I know their not real but gosh aren't they adorable!
