He was frozen in time. His mind was still active while he was trapped in the secret chamber below the imposter's coffin.

The imposter who stole away his legend of goodwill, intelligence, and renaissance within the Egyptian lands.

The imposter who had cursed him.

His only saving grace was the Medjai who had found and hidden him. He would hear the voice of his cloaked ally; gentle and lyrical, promising that one day he would be found before the silence reigned.

Years would pass and a small portion of justice would be served. The whispers would echo down through the cavernous halls reaching his ears even as he 'slept' that the imposter had suffered the worst of all deaths.

Time passed in the endless night and the promise that he'd be found seemed to become a faint memory as the centuries passed.

He could only hope that the Medjai would continue to pass down his warning. Hope that they would know that with the awakening of the false Imhotep their only chance for them to be saved would be for him to be awoken as well. However, he knew that fate could be cruel.

After all, the only one who could unlock his curse was his soulmate, who he'd been told wouldn't arrive for more than a hundred centuries.

The revolution had ended with a treaty between the muggle-borns and purebloods.

The Ministry had fallen long ago, and the Riddles' reign had long since arrived. Perhaps if the two soulmates hadn't found each other, it would have been another story.

If it hadn't been for several stragglers who did not like change, who had then formed groups which sought to rebel against each other; perhaps peace could have been maintained.

One such rebel group had been the ones to destroy her family while the so-called 'Light' side's leader sought to manipulate her into his own secret weapon. Perhaps if she hadn't connected with Hermione when they were young she would have been swayed. Perhaps if she had not imprinted on Hermione, she would have stayed abused and controlled.

It was not to be for once they reached school and joined with their third sister Akasuki they became an unstoppable force that took over Hogwarts by storm. They were nicknamed the Bronze Trio after their house colors of navy and bronze.

It was upon one of their many early studies that Hermione discovered the letters of one high-priest Imhotep to his love and soulmate, his queen. They had started to be written strangely enough in the early 20th century when the Magical Realm of Egypt was being rebuilt.

All were in an early form of English and began with: "My Queen…"

The girls had fawned over the intelligent writings of the legendary genius as he spoke to the soulmate that he knew would come from the future.

Their Ravenclaw minds were fascinated over the hieroglyphic language that was always found in a postscript upon each letter. No matter how they searched, none of them could find any other instance of any other hieroglyphic language that matched.

It was Hermione who first suggested that Imhotep was Hera's soulmate. No matter how much Miss Potter tried to deny it she felt drawn to the words on the page.

Then there were the times when she couldn't sleep, her mind plagued with flashes of memories of the time she lived with her birth mother's sister.

Unable to sleep she would retreat to the Ravenclaw tower common room and find one of the little turret window seats to curl up in with special charmed quilts that her friend had made her.

Hera would brush away the angry tears falling down her cheeks. Soon as her eyes began to drop and her mind was in that odd state between sleep and wakefulness, she would hear a hum.

At first she thought it was Hogwarts, others had instances of the sentient castle reaching out to them but it felt different. Hera would find herself making her way back to bed. Her mind calmed from its prior muddled thoughts allowing her to slip off to sleep peacefully, and the music would follow her into her dreams as if to chase away nightmares.

Luna was the brilliant nucleus of the Bronze Trio. Always with a beautifully homemade quilt or knitted scarf, she'd wrap the three of them in. They would laugh later when they realized how they thought of how they wished to tuck her under their wings in protection, but instead Luna seemed to be the 'motherly' figure at the center of them all.

Hera, Hermione, and Akasuki would grimace when they'd be called the 'trio' because it would exclude the brightest light of them all. So instead Hera had proudly proclaimed that they were 'Luna's Bronze Trio'.

Luna took her responsibility as the 'mother' well. Quickly all three 'sisters' learned that despite Luna's youth, she had a wisdom beyond her years. The trio learned to take her seriously, and watched as the fools around them did not.

It was no great surprise then when the day after the reopening of Hogwarts each received a special gift with instructions that were to be followed 'just so.'

The Daily Prophet that reported the events that followed would send the Wizarding World into speculation.
