After staying up there on the promenade for a while longer I then went to the bajoran temple and went to pray; to experience faith from their perspective. The vedeks paid me little heed as I appeared like a random humanoid doing my thing. I took a seat as the bajoran incense thickened in the house of worship. It was a pleasant experience. In a way the prophets or wormhole aliens ultimately worked for my boss by extension so it all worked out. I admired the bajorans. They were people of great faith. It had helped them to get far. And to beat great evils. Now as soon to be members of the fed it would take them further yet.
I wanted to be a part of that somehow; but obviously trying to get the fed to see me as an asset would be an interesting process. But I was already working on some ideas to that end. There was no immediate timeframe for bajor to be admitted into the federation but it was well on the way. Sisko remained in the wormhole and wasn't coming back soon it seemed.
But from what I could gather via my angel senses bajor would be the key to my mission here; at least initially. It was now a matter of making that good first impression…
"Can I help you my child?" A vedek asked me. "No vedek. I'm fine but thank you." "You seem to be in a questioning state my son." I smiled a little at that. "Yes and no." The vedek regarded me curiously. "Very well then. I shall be here for another hour if you should need me." I bowed my head to him. "Thank you vedek." "Of course my son. May the prophets ever guide you." "And you as well."
I was gonna love this place. And I did have the same initials as my favorite captain here: James t. Kirk. Well, minus the Tiberius part anyway. This was gonna be a helluva ride…
