Pairing: Established Dai x Susumu.

Summary:

Cute. Colourful. Susumu.

Dai had finished his main and was starting on his way-too-sugary but oh-so-refreshing dessert. As with a lot in life, he didn't have the patience to wait.

Their regular haunt was colourful like Susumu's noodles: that combo of noodles specked with baby oysters, spinach, mushrooms, and crispy chicken, pink like Dai's hair, yellow like Nabekichi's wings, green like Kawataro, and red like Gotetsu.

They'd been seated on the outer edge of the restaurant by the manager, who'd always looked after her own hosting duties, and who'd been in a neck brace for an accident for as long as they'd been coming here.

Susumu abandoned his wood chopsticks and tea to take his napkin and wipe some mango off Dai's face. Dai, noticing Susumu stretching to reach, hunched in to make it easier.

Gotetsu and Nabekichi were sitting next to their respective coaches in chairs that seemed empty to anyone without divine power.

"Sloppy eater, aren't you, Dai?" the red Gorikishin commented.

"Well sorryyyyy!" Dai chewed the ice in his mouth slowly, a sound the god of stone wasn't intimidated by.

Susumu giggled towards them. A sound Gotetsu discounted, which Dai didn't.

Footsie was off the table. At least, until Susumu realized Dai wanted to play. Susumu's legs were shorter than Dai's (clearly), but his boots touching or not touching the floor depended more on his posture. Not his actual height.

Susumu went back to winding his noodles, missing Dai's cues, to Dai's defeat and Gotetsu's delight.

Dai generally shied away from mushiness. The very first time Susumu kissed him, he literally ran away! Except, to be a gleam in his effortlessly cute boyfriend's glasses…Dai could volunteer a shred of his dignity.

A look at Dai looking at him and Susumu realized. He dropped his soles to the diamond-checkered tile, where they stuck gently to Dai's running shoes.

Switching between the dumb looks on their faces, Gotetsu sighed and took the opportunity to poach the red beans from Dai's dessert.

"Gotetsu!" Dai objected.

"You're done eating, right?"
