Kageyama was on his arms and knees, panting. Above him stood Jack Frost, the Wizard Saint and hero to the people of Iceberg. The new Fairy Tail mage's magic container was almost empty, a miniscule amount remained allowing him to stay conscious.

He had accompanied Jack for another S Class quest, one which once again pushed his limits as a human and a mage.

"You certainly have improved Kage… maybe now you can contend with Jet or even Levy" Jack commented as he thought of the strength of all the other guild members, his little brothers Gray and Natsu specifically. He sure hadn't pushed them past their limits in years, when he saw them next he would.

Kageyama looked up at the land around them, the entire area was covered in frost and looked at the Wizard Saint with disbelief. A frozen behemoth looking creature stared back at the shadow user. 'He put down an S Class Monster with his passive aura alone, what the fuck is he?'

"If you wish to manipulate a battlefield like I do, you must understand your own aura, and use that to expand your domain" Jack said cryptically as he pulled Kage up to his feet. His blue eyes examining the ex-dark mage, seeing things that normal people could not. "You have the potential to do so as well… you just have to work hard to get to an S Class level"

Kage nodded, absorbing the words that Jack was sprouting out. If one of the strongest mages on the continent believed that he could be an S Class, then he would try to be one. Even if he had to break past his own limits to do so.

"Do you have limits?" Kage asked the taller mage who scoffed at the question.

"You're joking right?" Jack asked as he eyed the shadow user with a curious glint in his eye. "Even Zeref has limits. Me? I haven't found my growth barrier yet. After all I am 23 and haven't reached my physical peak yet"

Kage could only nod in awe. He doubted he could quantify the potential Jack had. After all a mage's peak was said to be at between thirty-five and forty.

Jack clicked his fingers, creating a blue spark from the friction. Every piece of ice surrounding them shattered save from the once that held the monster's head, which flew into the open hand of Saint Frost. "We have a 5,000,000 Jewel reward to pickup!"

Jack stored the head in his requip space. Shoving his hand in his pocket he sighed as a slight buzzing started in said pocket. He pulled out a Lacrima ring and slipped it onto his finger. The ring glowed and emitted a projection, showing Master Makarov sitting at the bar with Mirajane.

"Jack my boy!" Makarov greeted with a cheeky smile, which made Jack sigh again.

He reequipped the monster head out of his pocket dimension and shoved it to Kageyama, who faltered under the weight of it. "Who needs to be taken down this time Gramps?"

Makarov shook his head and drank some more. "Natsu, his new friend and Gray"

Jack nodded; he knew where they were. Galuna Island, the location of the cursed village and of an S Class quest. "I'll pick them up"

Jack cut the transmission and put the ring away. Turning to his partner he smiled. "Take the reward for yourself and get yourself back to the guild"

Jack focused on Lucy's magical presence, it was the easiest to locate as it was the one that shone the most among all others, then teleported away. Allowing Kageyama to sigh. "This thing weighs half of me!"

The Wizard Saint appeared in front of a kneeling and wet Lucy. He could sense the giant rat behind him descend towards them, without moving the ocean erupted, water forming a pillar that caught the oversized rodent. Said pillar was frozen as Lucy looked at Jack with shock.

"So uh? Want to explain why you're doing an S Class job?" Jack asked with a small smirk as he offered a hand to Lucy. She took it and was helped up by the taller mage.

"Lucy!" the voice of happy called from afar but all the joys stopped when he saw Jack standing there. The cat tried to run but found himself being pulled towards the S Class Mage. "Uhhh… Hi Jack?"

Frost chuckled a little as he grabbed the exceed and patted it on the head. "Lets finish this job first yeah? Then I'll take you guys back to Gramps"

Lucy nodded. "But first we need to help the people here! There's a demon sealed in ice, and there's a group of people trying to melt it using ice! Oh! Did I mention that the leader of the group is somehow related to Gray! Anyways they attacked the village and well that's why I'm here and Natsu is somewhere else!"

Jack sighed, he would need to pickup Gray, heal him. Then transport the three of them to the place where Natsu was and defeat the bad guys. Then destroy the moon. Simple. "Happy, Lucy, hold on"

"What?" Lucy asked before a pillar of ice erupted beneath them and lifted them into the air. Jack honed in on the faint signature that was Gray's magical presence. The three arrived outside a tent, Lucy and happy collapsing to the floor while Jack absorbed the ice back into him.

The S Class stepped into the tent and observed the sleeping Gray, a small smiled made its way onto his face. Kneeling down he pressed a hand on Gray's abdomen, a green ice spread across his wounds and then melted. Waking up the ice mage.

"JACK!" Gray screamed as he leapt back in pure shock. Which made Jack chuckle.

The snow haired mage stood up and offered a hand to Gray. "This is about Ur isn't it? I can sense her Magic"

Gray looked at the extended hand and then at the genuine face that Jack was showing him. "Lets go say hi to sensei"

Smirking, Gray took the hand of Jack. "Yeah! Let's!"

Jack and Gray stepped out of the tent to see a freshly recovered Lucy and Happy.

"Good! We need to find Natsu! But not by using the ice elevator!" Lucy said, pointing at Jack as happy nodded, agreeing with her.

Jack smiled and crouched, forming a maker stance with his hands. "Its called… Ice Make: Pillar!"

Ten times quicker than the first one appeared, this larger pillar shot all four of them towards the temple at speeds that made Lucy and Happy sink into the ice object. Gray smiled, it had been a while since he had seen Jack put some effort into Ice Make.

"Gray… once we're finished with this. I want to teach you some new magic" Jack confessed as the pillar stopped outside a temple, the temple where Natsu was. Gray stepped off as Lucy and Happy managed to peel themselves off the frozen object.

"I'll be back!" he shouted before running into the temple, making Jack smile even more as he absorbed the ice pillar instantly. Looking around he found multiple robed figures surrounding him and his comrades.

His smile dropped as they closed in. Allowing his aura to be partially free, frost settled around the landscape instantly, freezing all those figures. Jack looked at all the robed figures, frozen solid up to their shins. "Movement in this zone increases the amount of frost that is accumulating over your body, stay still and you will not be frozen solid"

Jack picked up Happy and placed him on his shoulder while helping Lucy up. "Okay team! Let's find this Demon!"

A beam of light attracted Jack's attention. Still holding Lucy and Happy, he ran up the temple to find a sole male practicing the moon drip ritual. "Hello there!"

The man froze, figuratively and literally as the ritual was halted. He turned around to see Jack standing there with Lucy and Happy on each of his shoulders. His eyes went wide at the sight of Jack. After all he knew who this man was.

"J-Jack F-Frost!" he stuttered out as Jack laid Lucy and Happy down on the floor. He then bowed.

"At your service! Anyways I'm going to need to jump down that hole! Don't do anything to Lucy to Happy kay?" Jack said as he walked to the hole in the ground and jumped into it. Allowing himself to fall to where the sealed Deliora was.

Landing on his feet atop of the iced up demon he smirked as he took a seat. The ice was melting, Ur would melt into water and then the ocean. He watched as 'Zalty' entered the room, being chased by Natsu.

He jumped off the demon and landed behind the disguised Ultear. Placing a hand on her shoulder he smirked and whispered into her ear. "Its strange seeing a council member here, aiding in the resurrection of a demon from the Books of Zeref"

"JACK!" Natsu shouted in confusion but only after balls of fire where fired at him, unable to stop his flammable projectiles from going towards him.

Jack knew that Ultear would use this chance to escape and let go of her shoulder to doge the attack. The fire attacks hit the ice and made steam. It quickly cleared letting both Fairy Tail members to see each other once more.

The ice cracked as Jack put his hands in his pockets. "This is a rare opportunity, you get to see a demon's last moments, and the effects of Iced Shell on a magical body after an extensive time period"

Natsu scratched his head with confusion as the ice started to melt even more. "Uhhhhh? Yes!"

Jack chuckled as the ice completely cracked and turned into water. A deafening roar echoed throughout the surrounding area. He used his keen magical senses to estimate the full potential of this demon but was disappointed when he found out its true magical potential. 'It has the same magical reserves as Natsu, which by no means are small. Its just that this would be considered a low to mid-tier S Class monster, Natsu and Gray could beat it as they are now, on their own'

He watched as Gray appeared from the staircase, bloody but not broken. A look of shock on his face as he watched the monster swing it's fist down at Jack. "Wait for it…"

The monster shattered like ice, after all being in iced shell for that long froze the demon solid.

"Ur really did save your ass all those years ago… and she still does to this day" Jack said as he froze the remaining pieces instantly before absorbing them. The Lacrima was transported into his hand and promptly stored in his requip space.

His smile dropped. "Now that this is finished, lets finish the quest and go home"

"Gray I want you to copy my stance" Jack instructed as he bent his knees. He extended his left arm completely and opened his fist into a palm. Tucking his right fist next to his armpit. Gray copied the stance with ease but showed discomfort when maintaining the stance.

Jack pumped magical energy into every point of his body. "Pump magic to every point of your body and think of freezing the ground beneath you, without moving"

Gray followed his instructions. A snowflake centred magical circle appeared around the two ice mages. "Now thrust your fist at me with the intention of using all that magic you have stored to hit me from that distance"

Gray did as he was told, punching at the air in the direction of Jack. Ice erupted from Gray's feet and right fist, charging towards Jack at speeds he had never achieved before. The ice stopped and dissipated before it could it reach its target. Revealing the smiling Jack. "Now witness its power in the hands of a master!"

Jack pointed his open palm to the moon, and his upper body shifted to accommodate. "Sub Zero: First Strike!"

Instantly there was a pillar of ice piecing the sky. Cracks formed around the pillar as the sky itself shattered, revealing a different sky, one more pure than the last. The job was complete. Yet the ice pillar didn't stop expanding there. Branches started to part from the pillar as a gigantic ice tree was made.

Jack smiled as everyone admired the tree he had made, placing his hands in his pockets he walked over to who he could only assume was the village elder, judging by his looks. "I'll take the gold key and we'll be on our way"

Jack left no room for arguments as he walked past the old demon and towards the tent that held the magical key. Using a mild form of telekinesis to attract the key into his hand, jack exited the tent and observed the banquet that was taking place. "We would love to stay… but these four have broken some guild rules and need to be disciplined for it"

Everyone froze as the tree shrunk in size. Now looking like a normal tree. Small pillars of ice erupted from the tree and pushed Natsu, Gray, Happy and Lucy into Jack.

"Take care!" was all they heard before the pillars of ice and the Fairy Tail Mages vanished.
