[Mavis, Johnny, and Dennis get sent to an alternate universe where all monsters are human and everything's backward.]
Mavis, Johnny, and Dennis were having a picnic.
"I think we should go to the hotel, I see a storm coming," suggested Johnny.
"You see a storm coming ... at night?" said Mavis, confused; she and the boys suddenly got struck with lightning.
Moments later...
Dennis groaned and rubbed his head; he realized they weren't in the forest but the city.
"Guys ... we're not in the forest anymore," whimpered Dennis. "And it's daytime too."
"Daytime?" dropped Mavis. "EEK! The sun!"
"Quickly, wear this!" shivered Johnny, placing sun hat on Mavis's head.
"We're in the city, I think we're in Bucharest," said Dennis; he saw a tall building in the distance. "Whoa, what's that tall building? Seems like a hotel or apartment complex."
Mavis, Johnny, and Dennis walked into the hotel and saw someone similar to Dracula.
"Gasp! It's Drac!" smiled Johnny; he approached the look-alike. "Hey Drac- OH!" Dracula was a human.
"Who are you? You look an awful lot like a human version of Johnathan," growled Dracula.
"Um, please tell me we're having the same nightmare," shivered Mavis; a vampire that looked like Johnny came along.
"Who's this guy?" asked Johnathan.
"Some human who looks like you," said Dracula.
"Ohhh, a look-alike," smiled Johnathan. "I'll show y'all to my family and friends."
"What's this place called? Hotel Transylvania?" asked Mavis.
"It's called Hotel Bucharest," said Johnathan.
"The number one hotel in Romania," smirked Dracula.
"Ugh, can we just introduce our new friends?" grumbled Johnathan.
Later...
Johnathan and Dracula introduced Johnny, Mavis, and Dennis to the other humans.
"Hopefully my human version isn't that bad," whimpered Mavis.
"Mine would pretty much be the same," said Dennis.
"Where are you from?" asked Ericka, who was a vampire.
"We're from ... America... The state of California," said Johnny.
"My uncles look the same as humans when they were transformed," dropped Mavis.
"How come I'm not a lizard thingy?" grumbled Johnathan.
"Maybe in this universe vampires killed my human mom," said Mavis. "It's like everything in this alternate universe is... backwards..."
"We have to find a way back to the hotel, because if we're gone for more than a night, Papa Drac's gonna know something's up!" whimpered Dennis.
"Where's Mavis? Like her human version?" asked Johnny.
"Oh, Mavis... She's on a vacation to Haweewee," said Johnathan.
"It's Hawaii," corrected Dracula.
Later...
Dennis walked around the modern hotel; he suddenly saw Winnie, who was human, with alternate Dennis.
To Dennis's own shock, his alternate version and Winnie were fighting.
"YOU'RE ANNOYING! You always do stuff wrong!" complained Dennis.
"I do stuff wrong? I'm like two to five years older than you! Why would I do stuff wrong?" growled Winnie.
The real Dennis shivered behind a wall.
"Everything here is backwards," whimpered Dennis.
Meanwhile...
Mavis and Johnny toured the modern hotel.
"This is like meeting Dracula all over again, but better!" smiled Johnny as Mavis sighed.
"Maybe if we get struck by lighting again, we'll go back home," said Mavis; Johnny whimpered and put his hand on his arm.
"Mavis, I kinda like it here... There are more humans in this hotel than back at home," sighed Johnny.
"You like it in an alternate universe where everything is weird and backwards?! I'm hoping my human version isn't weird for Pete's sake!" growled Mavis.
"I know but... My friends are human which makes it better," said Johnny.
"Johnny sweetheart, if we don't go back home, Dracula and your family are going to be worried sick about us!" whimpered Mavis.
"Sigh, I guess you're right," sighed Johnny, a light bulb turned on in his head. "GASP! Maybe Ericka and Abraham have a machine to take us back home!"
"Everything here's reversed and backwards, so Ericka and Abraham are probably not inventors," said Mavis; Johnny's smile slightly faded.
"Right... Welp, seems like we'll have to get struck by lightning," whimpered Johnny.
"My phone says it's clear this whole week!" stated Mavis.
"Well, don't vampires know how to create storms?" asked Johnny.
"That's wizardry... WAIT! Maybe Ericka and Abraham have a spell book! We sneak into their room at night," snickered Mavis.
Later...
Mavis, Johnny, and Dennis quietly walked into the hall.
"Should we be doing this Mama? I mean, technically it's stealing a spell book from a vampire," whimpered Dennis.
"Would rather you stay here for the rest of your life, or go back home and see the non-alternate Winnie?" asked Mavis.
"The second one," chuckled Dennis nervously.
"Johnny, you go in there first," said Mavis.
"Mavis! They're vampires and not humans! If I'm caught stealing their spell book, they're going to suck my blood!" growled Johnny.
"I meant open the door and make sure they're asleep," grumbled Mavis.
"Oh, hehe... My bad," chuckled Johnny; he opened the door and walked into the room. "They're asleep..."
Dennis saw the spellbook on a pedestal.
"It's over there, I'll go and get it," whispered Dennis; he transformed into a bat and got the book.
Johnny accidentally bumped into a statue; he looked behind and saw a gigantic monster.
"AHHHH!" screamed Johnny, waking up Ericka and Abraham.
Moments later...
Ericka and Abraham wiped their eyes.
"That's weird, vampires aren't asleep at this hour," said Mavis quietly; she, Johnny, and Dennis hid behind a bookshelf. "Oh right, in this universe it would be day good, night bad. The humans had to get the vampires used to sleeping like a human." Abraham's ear turned into a bat ear.
"I heard something," growled Abraham. "From that bookshelf."
"Shh! Be quiet Mavis, one of the vampire could have supersonic hearing!" shivered Johnny quietly.
"Why would they even be listening? They would believe it wasn't us," smirked Mavis; Ericka and Abraham approached the bookshelf as Dennis shivered.
"Mama! Be quiet!" whimpered Dennis.
"Okay, let's just make a break for-" Mavis got cut off by seeing Abraham and Ericka.
Moments later...
Mavis, Johnny, and Dennis ran out of the hotel into the street.
Ericka got her phone and called Dracula.
"DRAC! ALERT JOHNATHAN AND THE OTHERS! THE LOOK-ALIKES STOLE OUR SPELL BOOK!" growled Ericka. "WE HAVE A SEARCH TONIGHT!"
Later...
Mavis, Johnny, and Dennis hid behind a bush.
"Oh no, I don't see any spells about making a storm!" whimpered Mavis.
"Sigh, we're dead," grumbled Johnny; Dennis saw a lightning spell on a page.
"Look, there's a lightning spell!" said Dennis; Mavis gave the spellbook to Dennis.
"Use it quickly!" cried Mavis; Dennis positioned his hands up and twirled them around.
Lighting struck the Loughran family.
Later...
Mavis, Johnny, and Dennis panted heavily with their clothes and hair electrocuted.
"This room doesn't look modern, I think we're back home! OH!" shivered Johnny, seeing the werewolf family, who were shocked.
"Hehe, our bad... We'll just go to my Dad and Ericka," chuckled Mavis nervously.
The werewolf family watched the family walk out.
"Uh, that was weird," said Wayne.
The next night...
"And everything was backwards," stated Johnny.
"Man, it's probably weird in that universe," shivered Dracula; Johnathan suddenly came along as Mavis screamed.
"JOHNATHAN FROM THE ALTERNATE UNIVERSE! WE'RE SO SORRY!" squealed Mavis.
"No, apparently your lightning spell caused lightning to strike me as well," said Johnathan. "I like it here... It's more 19th and 20th century-ish, although there are some 21st century things."
"Well, you're kind of free now in this universe," smiled Mavis; Johnathan transformed into a bat and flew into the twilight. A bat cronie suddenly hit him. "OOF! He got hit by a bat cronie!"
"He'll be all right," sighed Johnny.
