Toriel
Changes from original: feels some guilt at leaving Asgore, but buries it with her anger at him killing kids and her guilt at being unable to protect them. Part of her wonders what would've happened if she had stayed. The monsters in the ruins know she's the queen and calls her Verlassener (german for abandoner) when they think she isn't around.
Appearance:she dresses similar to her classic self, but her robe is missing the Deltarune. She removed it as she wanted to cut all ties with her previous life as queen.
Backstory: Same as Classic.

"Chara!" Toriel froze for a second as she heard a young child say the name of her child.
"I must be mistaken," said Toriel as she continued towards the sound of crying.
'What did that idiot do now?' wondered Flowey as he left to find his sister.
"Child, are you alright?" asked Toriel as she gently picked up the crying child.
"Chara," Riley said as she cried into Toriel's robe.
'So they did say her name,' thought Toriel as she carried the child back to her house. 'How do they know my daughter's name? Could Chara still be here?' Toriel looked around in hope of a sign of her child. Toriel sighed as nothing happened. 'Maybe this child is talking about another Chara.'
"Ow," said Riley as their stomach growled.
"You're hungry," observed Toriel. "I was making some pie before I found you."
"Pie?" asked Riley.
"Yes, a butterscotch cinnamon pie," answered the motherly monster. "We'll have let it cool a little, but you will be able to eat it soon." Toriel adjusted her grip on Riley to open her front door. "Why don't you take a small nap as I take care of the pie?" suggested Toriel as she tucked Riley into a bed. Riley stared curiously as Toriel left the room.
"Chara," said Riley as she got out of the bed. She tried to stand up but lost her balance and fell down. Pushing herself off the ground, Riley grabbed the bed to steady herself. "Chara Mom," said Riley as she started to walk forward. She had to catch herself with the bed a few times, but soon enough, Riley was able to walk without any issues. Exiting the room, she could hear the fluffy person talking. "Mom." Riley walked out the door and started to look for Chara.
"Ribbit," said a creature as it approached Riley.
"Chara?" asked Riley, hoping this creature knew where her mom was. "Ugh," grunted Riley as the creature tackled her. Closing her eyes, she opened them to see Chara in front of her. "Mom," said Riley as she hugged Chara.
