Even as she is learning about the world the emptiness is still there but at least it was manageable. She liked to learn from the books even if she couldn't explore outside the castle.
If there was one thing she was curious about is the servant Kiritsugu is going to summon as they bowed before the Elder Einzbern who showed them catalyst to summon King Arthur.
As she holds the scabbard She doesn't mention the longing that fills her when she touches it like something calling for her.
"Irieviel you can put it on the altar now."
Her focus is brought back to Kiritsugu who was preparing the summoning circle.
She does as he says and sets it on the altar.
She steps away ignoring the emptiness again.
"This should be enough then I will begin the ritual."
As he begins the chant something changes for Irisviel She doesn't know what is happening but the magic in the air is electrifying.
"I call upon you to bring me victory in this war!"
As the power is building something inside Irisviel snaps.
There is a tugging at her soul when the magic surrounding King Arthur's Summoning disappears.
Then there is a burning on her right hand that surprises her and when she looks down she sees the commands seals that were meant for Kiritsugu.
A woman stands in the circle with her blue and silver armor gleaming in the darkroom her invisible sword at her side. She focuses entirely on Irisviel.
"Tell me are you, my master?"
Suddenly the emptiness disappears when she meets the servant's eyes.
