Blueeyeddevil06, thank you for being my beta!

A very nervous Mamoru was sitting at the Crown Arcade with a coffee for himself and a milkshake sitting by the empty chair next to him. He expected Usagi to come in at any moment, and he had no idea the future him did that, too, with no expectation that she'd ever drink it.

Usagi walked in, "Hi Mamoru-Baka, make anyone cry today?"

"No."

She shrugged, "It's still early. With any luck, someone will confess their love to you, and you can ask them who they are."

"That happened once!" She raised an eyebrow at him. "Fine, twice."

He then pointed to the milkshake, "That's for you."

"I'm sorry I teased you!" She shouted out and grabbed the chocolate milkshake. "You're the best!"

"Come sit by me."

"Why?" She asked skeptically. "Is there exlax in this?"

He laughed, "No. I think you're beautiful, and I want to sit by you."

"What? Are you feeling okay?" she felt his forehead for a fever.

"Let's just say I had someone point out to me that I'm an idiot. I'm tired of hiding my feelings for you."

She grew pale, thinking of her dreams. She was beginning to believe they were a premonition. "I… there are things going on in my life. I can't…." She set the chocolate milkshake on the counter and started to back up. She didn't want to start any type of relationship now when she knew she would die.

He lept off his stool, wrapped her in his arms, and whispered, "I know how to save you, Sailor Moon."

She looked up at him in shock with her lips parted, and he couldn't resist. He kissed her lips, deepening it and pressing her to him. His whole body reacted. He loved her.

When the kiss broke, Motoki was at the counter. "There are kids here." He then smiled, "About time already."

Usagi hadn't removed her gaze from Mamoru. He felt her trembling in his arms, and he looked back down. "Are you okay?"

"I'm so okay. I'm so happy I'm overwhelmed."

He grabbed her hand and laced their fingers together. "We need to talk. Those dreams you're having are real, and I won't let you get hurt."

He then packed his things and pulled her from the arcade. Now came the hard part. Keeping future him from trying to kiss the woman they both loved.

"Any idea where we can talk? There's a guy at my apartment that I promise you will try to kiss you, and I'd have to punch him."

She giggled at the idea that he'd get jealous. "You're silly."

"No, I'm serious. I love you, and I can't watch him try to steal you. He did threaten to."

"It's you I love, Mamoru!" Yeah. That was his worry, he was him, and he was heartbroken. Her heart would weep for him.

"Umm… my mom's home. How about the park?"

He groaned. "Come home with me. We need privacy, and just…." He sighed. He was going to have to keep the other Mamoru off of her.

It didn't work. The moment she walked into the apartment, the future Mamoru had her in his arms and kissed her. She struggled a bit in her confusion. When she looked at him and recognized him, she closed her eyes, settled into his arms, and kissed him back enthusiastically.

Current Mamoru was incredibly jealous, and he pulled Usagi out of the other him's arms.

She looked at who did that and screamed in shock, "W-what?!" Her head swiveled back and forth, trying to take them both in. "Mamoru?"

"What?" They both asked.

She sat hard on her butt on the floor. "I'm so confused."

Future Mamoru squatted down in front of her. "I'm from more than two years in the future, and I came back to save you. I'd do anything to keep you from dying in my arms again."

"I died in your arms?"

"I'm… we're Tuxedo Kamen. I held you while you died, and your last words were you asking me if you were being brave." His eyes grew misty with tears.

She looked up at the other Mamoru. "It was you I talked to at the arcade, right?"

"Yes, I love you and need you in my life."

She then looked at the other Mamoru. "What can you do to change things?"

"I learned how to heal. I will teach him how to heal you and save your life. We cannot lose you. My life has been hell without you, and the girls need you. Mina hasn't told you you're the Moon Princess."

She gasped in shock. "I am!"

"And we're not only Tuxedo Kamen, but we're also Endymion, the Earth Prince, and your true love. I was born for you."

She smiled at him and reached out to caress his face. She then saw the other Mamoru shift uncomfortably. She dropped her hand and sighed, "This is all so confusing."

Current Mamoru stood and helped her up off the floor; he then sat, settled her in his lap, wrapped his arms around her, and glared at his future self. "He let you die."

"You would too!" He yelled back.

"I haven't failed her yet!"

"I'm the one that will ensure you don't. I'm more powerful than you."

"And she still died in your arms."

"Stop!" Usagi yelled. "This is getting us nowhere." She looked over at future Mamoru and said, "Surely you know me enough to know what I feel. I'm sorry."

He sighed and sat down; he knew she wouldn't hurt the man holding her right now. He was the man she was in love with, the one she had been bantering with. She would see the difference. The fact that if they saved her life, the future Mamoru wouldn't exist anymore, and she wouldn't give the current him any reason to doubt her love and devotion.

"Don't be sorry. It's enough to see you alive, and it's overwhelming, really. I stopped going to class once I realized I could send things back in time."

"You did?" she asked in surprise.

The current him kissed her forehead. "What did class matter when he planned to change the past?"

"But you love school."

"I love you," the future Mamoru said. "I… we need you. Without you, what's the point of achieving anything? Who do we celebrate our accomplishments with? It's lonely and dark without you in my life. Trust me, I know that bitter truth."

"I'm a bit overwhelmed by this all."

"Tell me about it," Mamoru said. "He showed up this morning and told me my life was a month from falling apart."

"So, what's the plan?"

"Senshi meeting, it's time they know who we are, and then I start working with past me to train him with his Golden Crystal. And you!" future Mamoru said, looking at Usagi, "You spend your nights here. Figure out how to make it work. Past me is going to hold you while you sleep and chase away the nightmares."

Mamoru's eyes bugged out, "Wha...?"

"You hold her, or I will. She suffered all those nightmares and then died in the street! You will protect her, and this is step one."

Usage blushed, "My family is out of town for the weekend…."

"You want to stay?"

"Um…" she fidgeted.

Future Mamoru growled out, "Grow a pair, tell her you want her to stay here with you."

"I don't want to push her too fast!"

Future Mamoru slammed his fist on the coffee table, "I don't care what you want! This is about comforting her. I'm not telling you to have sex, just hold her."
