George entered the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana where tonight's episode of RAW is WAR will be live tonight. It was very early morning and the crew had not long arrived to start setting up as some wrestlers had arrived from Kentucky where last night's PPv Judgment Day had been. George was glad to be back and ready to get back into action with a new idea for his character that he ran through with Vince, who had called him over a lot earlier than the other wrestlers and asked him to come early so they can talk about Bladewolf's return.
George passed the area where he crew were setting up the ring and the seats and continued on his way through the hallways of the backstage area, looking for Vince's office so he asked for directions and got directed to a door at the far end of the hallway he was in. George walked down and knocked on the door.
"Come in." he heard Vince's voice say and he entered to see Vince, Stephanie and Shane along with a unfamiliar blonde woman. "Ah george, good to see you here."
"Hey boss." George said as he sent a curious look at the blonde woman who sent an equally curious look. "So what do you want? Why did you want me here earlier? Haven't we already gone over my return tonight?"
"We have but we wanted to add something." Shane said which caused George to raise an eyebrow. "Well, Stephanie came up with it actually and ran it by us and we are now running it by you. How would you like to have a manager/valet accompanying you to the ring?"
George frowned and glanced at the blonde haired woman, now figuring out why she was still here. "Why would Bladewolf need that?"
"Fr storyline purposes, as well as his lack of talking." Vince explained before gesturing to the woman. "This is Patricia Stratigias, or Trish Stratus as she will be known as on screen."
"Hi." Patricia smiled as she extended her hand which George. "Just call me Trish, all my friends do. Since we'll be working together for the forrseeable future here, you should call me it as well. I'm a big fan of you by the way. Watched all your matches thus far."
"Well, that's very flattering to hear." George said with a small smile and a blush before he looked at the McMahons. "Okay, so how is this how valet thing going to go?"
The McMahons quickly began to explain to him...
RAW is WAR: 22/5/2000
RAW is WAR was live the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, just 24 hours removed from a big Judgment Day event. Fans saw the return of the Undertaker during the WWF Championship match between the Rock and Triple H. And the Undertaker had a new look and came to the ring on a motorcycle.
RAW kicked off as Mr. McMahon walked out to the ring to kick off the show. According to Mr. McMahon, Judgment Day had come for the McMahon-Helmsley Regime and they were justly rewarded. He then mentioned that The Rock had cheated in the Ironman Man match, going so far as to hire the Undertaker for protection. McMahon then commented that he would be surprised if The Rock would make it to the arena. However, should The Rock make it, he would face Road Dogg, X-Pac, Shane McMahon and Triple H.
Before the commercial break, Mr. McMahon was spotted walking backstage. Not long thereafter, The Rock attacked the Chairman, absolutely destroying him. The Great One then threw McMahon into a limo. The driver then took off with McMahon in the back.
The Hardys teamed up to take on T and A. Despite their larger appearance, the team of Test and Albert did well keeping up with the fast and furious style of Matt and Jeff. In fact, the duo was so quick that their sneaky double-teaming proved to be enough for the Hardys. Test and Albert won after a flying elbow smash by Test, and a pinfall.
The European Championship was on the line next as Eddie Guerrero defended against D'Lo Brown. As the match started, it was clear that D'Lo was more focused than he has been in recent months. Unfortunately for D'Lo, the Godfather distracted him, costing him the match. Eddie retained the Championship.
Road Dogg and X-Pac then attempted to make it into the arena. However, The Rock caught them off at the pass, tossing them into the back of a truck and locking them in.
Kurt Angle, Edge and Christian took on Too Cool and Rikishi. Prior to the match, Angle and the Tag Team Champions poked fun at Indiana basketball. For each boo Angle received, Edge and Christian got two. On the flip side, the ovation Too Cool and Rikishi received was deafening. As was the case in the first match, the action was fast and furious. Too Cool and Rikishi seemed to have the advantage throughout the match. However, they fell victim to some very illegal double-teaming. The match ended when Edge nailed Scotty Too Hotty with one of the tag belts. Angle then rolled up Scotty for the win.
Shane McMahon, who proved to be quicker than a hiccup against Big Show at Judgment Day, came out to speak to the crowd. Despite nearly being drowned out by an explicit chant, Shane declared himself the giant killer. The Rock then came to the ring and chased Shane from the ringside area, beating him along the way.
The Intercontinental Championship was on the line next when Chris Benoit defended his title against Val Venis. Prior to the match, Jim Ross mentioned that Benoit is well on his way to becoming one of the greatest Intercontinental Champions of all-time. Benoit, who was competing with a bum knee, proved J.R.'s words true, as he looked very sharp in this match. On the other hand, Venis, whose physique resembles that of a Roman god, looked just as sharp as the Champion. Unfortunately for Val, all of his sharpness was for not. Benoit was awarded the match via disqualification when Hardcore Holly nailed Benoit with a steel chair. It was then that Chris Jericho's music played throughout the arena. In a sneaky fashion, Y2J got behind Holly and whacked him with a steel chair.
The second hour of RAW kicked off with a match between the Dudley Boyz and Bull Buchanan and Big Boss Man. The Dudleys, who are tougher than a two dollar steak, won the match after perfectly executing their patented 3D.
An upset Crash Holly went into the APA office to demand his money back, claiming they did not stick up to their end of the agreement. When Crash realized that he was not going to get his money back, he cracked a cold beer and poured it over Bradshaw's head. RAW went to commercial as Bradshaw ran off after Crash.
After the commercial break, Crash Holly took on Bradshaw in a hardcore match. This truly was a David and Goliath battle. In the end it was Goliath, or Bradshaw as the case may be, who got the win after a Clothesline from Hell.
An emotionally charged Shawn Michaels interview then aired on RAW. Shawn said that he saw the Undertaker interfering on behalf of The Rock, which is why he disqualified him. He then said that he did the best job that he possibly could and that he was sick of people questioning his judgment.
Next up, the WWF's resident pimp the Godfather teamed up with Essa Rios to take on the team of Perry Saturn and Dean Malenko. Prior to the match, Godfather offered Malenko two hos. Malenko obliged and left with the nice young ladies, leaving Saturn by himself to fight Godfather and Essa. It looked as though the two-on-one advantage was going to be too much for Saturn. However, a jealous Lita knocked Essa off of the top rope. Saturn took advantage of the move and quickly pinned Essa after a suplex.
The Rock then came out to address Triple H. The Great One claimed that even though he no longer wears the Championship, Triple H didn't beat him. The Rock then addressed the Undertaker, saying he did the right thing but at the wrong time⦠The Rock's time. Bringing his attention back to Triple H, The Rock then called out the Champion. Just 24 hours after the two biggest names in the game went 60 minutes, The Rock and Triple H came to blows. The battle quickly became a five-on-one encounter when Road Dogg, X-Pac, Shane and Vince joined Triple H.
Suddenly the Titantron started to go static, drawing everyone's attention. The Titantron then displayed the words 'Dire warning!' before a countdown clock appeared and started to count down from 10.
At Backlash, a vignette played with a similar countdown clock about the End coming, with the latest being last night at Judgement Day. it appears whoever these vignettes were about... they were debuting here tonight.
The camera closes in as the countdown continued until it reached 0 and an abandoned warehouse is shown in the middle of the night in pouring rain with thunder and lighting heard and seen in the sky. The camera fades to inside the warehouse, showing a boiler room of some sorts with fire all around. It looked like Freddy Kruger's boiler room from A Nightmare on Elm Street.
then a song begins to play.
(AN: Play A Nightmare On Elm Street: One, Two, Freddy's Coming For You: Freddy's Theme (Version One)
"One, two, the wolf's coming for you..."
Footage of Bladewolf's career is shown, ranging from his debut at SummerSlam 1997 to WrestleMania 16. It shows his first WWF Championship match.
Three, four, better lock your door..."
Next is him winning the WWF Championship at WrestleMania 14.
"Five, six, grab your crucifix..."
The video than starts showing DX and the McMahon-Helmsley faction's attack on Bladewolf the night after WrestleMania, the last time anybody saw the Bladewolf before the vignettes started to play at Backlash. The video seemed to focus primarely on Triple H crippling the Bladewolf with the steel steps, followed by the burning of his mask.
"Seven, eight, seal your fate..."
The video then shows Triple H posing over Bladewolf with the burning mask in hand.
"Nine, Ten... say your amen..."
The song fades and died down as a hooded figure in a hooded, faded black leather coat is standing on a catwalk but his face cannot be seen. He is staring at the inferno of the fire all around him before he walks out of sight.
He suddenly walks on the lower floor and fire appears all around him. He stares at the TV as footage of Triple H's attack on Bladewolf is shown, followed by the burning of the mask and it repeats. The camera is positioned to show his right hand with the TV in the background before his right hand clenched into a tight fist.
A bat is shown on the floor before the figure picks it up and gives a few practice swings before he gives a mighty swing and smashes the TV in slow motion, the sparks seen slowly flying from the impact. The figure shoudlers the bat before walking away with the only sound being heard was the thunderstorm outside and the crackling fire inside the warehouse.
The camera follows the figure before cutting to the floor where a picture of Triple H winning his 3rd WWF Championship on the third week after WrestleMania 16 is shown.
the figure stops and opens the door of the warehouse, showing the thunderstorm, staring at the pouring rain before he turns his head to the left enough for the camera to see his eye when the lightning strikes across the sky. The figure then looks ahead and throws his hood up as he walks off into the storm and into the darkness of the night.
The Titantron goes black before the words. 'The End is Here' appear in blood red lettering.
Then a little girl's voice is heard. "He's here..."
OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!
The fans come unglued at the wolf howl and every single fan in the crowd is standing and cheering as Triple H shakes his head in shock, unable to believe if it's who it really is or just a mind game he's playing.
The lights dim to a familiar sinister blood red and dark blue as a song starts up, called Dead Silent and smoke starts to fill the stage as a beautiful blonde-haired woman appears dressed in rather sexy-looking black leather gear.
the woman then begins to sing. "He is time, Famine, war, Pestilence, You cannot endure. The end is here... The end is here... Fall and pray... Fall and pray... Fall and pray!"
The song starts repeating the 'Fall and Pray' part as the hooded figure seen in the vignette rises from the stage, head bowed and long hair falling so nobody can see his face, but they can see demonic red wolf eyes on the hood. The figure lifts his head as the song really kicks off and the woman starts dancing hypnotically around the man, his hooded leather coat all faded black with the words 'The End is Here' on the back of the coat.
The figure beats his chest to the sound of drums in the theme song and strikes a pose with the woman on her knees in front of him, a spotlight on them as the song died down.
The fans are still going nuts as they know it's the Bladewolf but they don't know who the woman is.
The woman stands and moves aside as Bladewolf starts making his way down towards the ring. X-Pac runs at him but is met wit a right hook, the same to Road Dogg, then a big boot to Shane McMahon. Bladewolf knocks Briscoe out with a punch, then delivers a hard right hook to Vince's jaw. Bladewolf grabs Vince by the throat, lifts him up... AND HITS A CHOKESLAM ON THE FLOOR!
The woman walks around to the timekeeper's area where she grabs a microphone as Bladewolf gets on the apron and stares straight at Triple H who had stopped hammering away on the Rock to face his old rival, the man he put out for over a month. Bladewolf enters the ring through the middle rope without looking away from Triple H, face still not seen due to his long hair and the hood. Bladewolf faces Triple H before he reaches up to his hood and flips it down to reveal he's wearing the burned wolf mask that Triple H burned the last time anybody saw Bladewolf.
The woman enters the ring and stands at Bladewolf's side as she hands him the microphone when he had held his hand out for it. Bladewolf flips his hair back, showing the burnt mask in more detail as Bladewolf stares at Triple H.
'Bladewolf! Bladewolf! Bladewolf!' The fans chanted, happy to see him back.
Bladewolf stares Triple H down before he brought the microphone to the mouth area of the mask. "TRIPLE H!" He then reached up and took off the mask, revealing he had black and blood red facepaint all over his face going down his neck and onto his chest, forming the image of a demonic wolf and making him look even more terrifying without a mask on. "You... you're a dead man,"
Bladewolf tosses the microphone aside as well as the burnt mask. triple H backed up before he went for a right hand but Bladewolf ducked it and full on attacks Triple H with a fury of right hands, unleashing pent up anger from Triple H's assault last month. Bladewolf delivers a hard uppercut that sends Triple H over the top rope and down to the floor, with Bladewolf following him while the woman stays in the ring with a delighted and sadistic look on her face.
Bladewolf keeps his assault up as Triple H tries to fight back but Bladewolf was not letting him get a shot in as he keeps up the assault, ramming his head off the announce table before he grabs Triple H by the throat, lifts him up... AND CHOKESLAMS HIM THROUGH THE ANNOUNCE TABLE!
Bladewof stares down at Triple H and does his infamous Michael Myers head tilt before he slowly looks up and stares at a now wide eyed Stephanie and Tori and just stares as the woman comes out the ring with the microphone in hand and gives it to the Bladewolf who doesn't take his eyes off the women.
"Whores." Was all he said before he dropped the microphone and gets back into the ring with the woman as Bladewolf's new theme plays. Bladewolf stands in the middle of the ring as the woman crouches to her knees in front of him, pressing her back into his legs as he raises his arms before he throws them down and lightning hit the turnbuckles, fire explodes and Bladewolf strikes the pose he made on the stage with the woman remaining in her position. RAW goes off the air...
And THAT is what I was going to do with Bladewolf and Trish Stratus on screen. Instead of debuting with Test and Albert, Trish debuted as the valet/manager of the Bladewolf.
And yes, their entrance is basically Karrion Kross and Scarlett. I wanted to use it seeing as Karrion isn't part of WWE anymore as well as his theme song because it just sounds cool.
And I hope you liked the vignette before Bladewolf make his return, all credit goes to JDTank10 for coming up with all of this so a big thanks to him for the help. If it wasn't for him, I'd probably have made Bladewolf an American badass-Undertaker gimmick. This isn't that, his character evolution here will make his gimmick a mix of Crow Sting, Undertaker 2004-2020, Kane 2000-2003, and Karrion Kross.
As for his ring attire, he's gonna wear the black singlet/tights that Sting wears. just replace the white scorpions with two large wolf skulls with red eyes, or two dark blue Undertaker TX symbols, whichever looks cooler.
Let me know in the reviews.
As for why Triple H is a 3-time WWE Champion at this point. After he won the title the first time from Bladewolf, he feuded with Rock, Mick Foley and Big Show, losing the title to Mick and Big Show but he won them back before Backlash, making him a 3-time Champion.
It's complicated but it works.
