SmackDown: 21/9/2000
SmackDown was live at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. With just three days left until Unforgiven, nearly every World Wrestling Federation Superstar surrounded the ring as SmackDown kicked off from Milwaukee, Wisc. Commissioner Mick Foley stood in the middle of the ring, saying he wanted to conduct his own investigation into the mystery of who ran over Stone Cold Steve Austin at last year's Survivor Series. The commish said he had two predictions as to who had committed the crime.
His first prediction was The Rock, who Foley suggested was sick and tired of sharing the spotlight with the Rattlesnake. The Rock said once again that he was not the culprit, and even reiterated that response in Swedish and Chinese!
Foley's next prediction was that Triple H was the culprit. The Game admitted that he had been setting Austin up for an attack in the parking lot, but that he would have never run him down with a car. Triple H said that since women make the worst drivers, maybe Foley should question the superstar who comes closest to being a woman – Kurt Angle.
Kurt said that the notion that he was the culprit was ridiculous, even if he did find Stone Cold to be a poor role model for children. Angle said that maybe Essa Rios was guilty, since you always have to watch out for the quiet superstars. Essa entered the ring and declared his innocence in Spanish! Kurt then suggested that maybe Triple H and DX were the guilty party
X-Pac denied the allegation but said that Chris Jericho was probably guilty, since Y2J had just come into the Federation and was still looking for his niche at the time.
"I think that Mr. Kurt Angel had the best point of all when he brought up motives." Jericho said. "Who had the biggest motive to take Austin out of the picture? Who hated Austin more than anybody else? Who's problem with Austin transcended business and became 100% personal?"
"Guy's a regular Sherlock Holmes." Jerry commented.
"Mick, I think if you look at it that way, it's quite obvious. Especially after what Austin did to her nerdy brother, what Austin did to her genetic jackhammer of a father." Jericho said as the crowd started to know who he was talking about. "And especially what Austin was going to do to her soon to be busband at the time. Well, I'm not one to name names, Mick, but I think it's obvious, Mick, that your culprit... is a filthy, dirty, disgusting brutal bottom-feeding trashbag tramp named Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley!"
"Jericho's accusing Stephanie McMahon!" Cole exclaimed as a shocked Stephanie came into the ring.
"Now wait jut a second, now certainly Stephanie has done a lot of bad things here in the WWF, but Stephanie, are you indeed capable of attempting vehicular homicide?" Mick asked her.
"Mick, this is completely unfair!" Stephanie complained as the crowd booed. "You've seen the footage. You know that me, my brother, my father and the man that I defeated in the center of the ring, Monday night, my ex-fiancé Test, we were all there on the scene when Austin was being loaded into the Ambulance. there's no way we could've done it! We weren't there! But I'll tell you who I think did it. I have two potential suspects to who did it. The first has to be obvious, considering he had the most problem with Austin starting all the way back to 1998 Unforgiven..."
"Wait a minute, she's talking about...?" Jerry trailed off.
"I think she is." Cole nodded.
"Who else desired the WWF title more than anyone? A man who has a black heart, remorseless and would've been the most potential suspect. A man who's put his hands on me and nearly injured me severall times... the Bladewolf!" Stephanie accused.
"Stephanie's accusing the Bladewolf!" Coke said as Bladewolf was shown standing beside the Undertaker with Trish. Undertaker and Bladewolf shared amused looks.
"And if it's not him, then it's the man who once abducted me... the Undertaker!" Stephanie continued.
"She's also accusing the Undertaker!" Cole shook his head.
"It could be one of these two, it could've been both!" Jerry pointed out.
The Bladewolf hands his Intercontinental Championship to Trish before entering the ring with the Undertaker and walks straight up to Stephanie, yanking the microphone out of her hands to cheers from the fans as he points his baseball bat at her.
"You better back off before you find out how remorseless I can be." Bladewolf threatened which made her back up to Triple H who was glaring at him. "Firstly... I didn't do it. Austin and I have had problems but if I wanted to take out Austin... I wouldn't need a damn car to do it when I can just beat Austin into a lifeless, bloodied heap in this ring. I've proven in the past that I can beat someone up so bad they can be out for a while."
Mick nodded. "You bring up some good points, so Undertaker, is it true?"
Undertaker smirked and nodded. "it's true... she is a sleezy tramp."
"What?!" Jerry gasped as the crowd cheered and laughed while Stephanie looked insulted.
Kurt Angle then cam eup from behind and struck Bladewolf and all hell broke loose from there as everyone battled their rivals. Well, Bladewolf just took out anyone in his path, though he did help out Undertaker fight off Kane. Eventually the ring was cleared until the Face superstars stood in the ring as Mick Foley's theme played.
The question was... who ran over Austin at the 1999 Survivor Series?
Sorry it was short and Bladewolf's not been around, but I couldn't think up what he could for Unforgiven, so I had to skip some things even if I didn't want to.
