Pony Tsunotori

UA highschool was world-renowned for the pros that the school managed to produce. Many famous pros in places as far away as France, the US, and Brazil had pros that can be traced back to UA in some way shape, or form. And in Japan, it was no different, with three of the top pros: Endeavor, Best Jeanist, and Enigma being from UA. So it wasn't rare for the school to have multiple applicants come in from other countries. Pony Tsunotori was no exception.

Pony Tsunotori was one of these foreign students. Pony, much like her name suggests has many equestrian features to her appearance, most notably being her long curved horns at the top of her head and her large hooves for feet. Ignoring those features however it was still easy to notice her large, round blue eyes and blond hair that reached past her shoulders.

She was currently wearing jeans with a multi-colored tank top as well. At the bridge of her nose, she had shades resting. Her overall expression seemed rather excited as she sat in an airplane. She currently had AirPods in her ears and was listening to anime intros rather loud. Since she was what one would call a weeb, she assumed if she listened to and watched enough anime she would just learn the language quickly.

Pony continued to listen to her music until she could feel the airplane slowly land. She opened her eyes and started to slowly look around as she noticed other people were starting to get up. Tsunotori couldn't contain her excited smile as she started getting up and grabbing her large backpack and supplies. Almost all of her supplies were anime-related, as she may have spent more time watching anime than she likely should have to prepare for her trip.

Pony followed the rest of the attendants off the plane. She smiled as she looked at the group of other people traveling to Japan, one of the only things she recognized while looking around was a small child holding up an old and slightly torn plushie of a rather old hero. If she remembered right the pro in mind was named AllMight? Hero History wasn't exactly in her long list of things she studied before coming over.

At the end of the short walk from the plane, there was an airport. Pony started looking around the general area to try to find her ride.

After a little looking around, she finds a man in a fully black getup holding a sign for her. The sign had "PONY" written in English, with small Kanji under it that Pony mostly just assumed was sharing the same message. She smiled excitedly as she quickly walked over to him.

"Are you here to pick me up?" Pony asked in English as she got closer. She had a very noticeably southern accent to her words.

The man simply nodded towards her. He was tall in stature but was also incredibly lanky. His arms looked just like noodles. Which she quickly picked up on as he started beckoned for her to follow. Pony saw no problem following a stranger as she tried to keep up with him.

As they walked Pony couldn't help but look around her new surroundings. She had to admit that her Japanese wasn't nearly as good as it should be, she was still excited to see a handful of Japanese ads. The one that most caught her eye was one of a pro with three snakes at the top of her head. She was standing in what looked like a yellow void.

The pro said something in Japanese as she held up a bottle of lotion. The camera zoomed in on the bottle before turning to show Uwambi's natural beauty.

"Is she one of the pros?" She asked in English to the larger man with a still excited smile.

The man looked back at her and then at the ad "yes. She's what some would call an idol pro… it's a glamorous job" He spoke slowly and rather emotionlessly.

Pony frowned softly at him, while her home country of the US wasn't exactly the safest or nicest country around she was at least used to people giving a decent small talk to each other. Her eyes widened suddenly as she quickly bowed to him "I'm sorry if I've been forcing you to small talk, I don't know if that's rude in your culture but I truly didn't mean to insult you" Pony then quickly realized that she was bowing towards him and started worrying that that might be taken offensively as she just started raising herself slowly. "I-I don't really know too much about Japanese culture but I'd love to learn!"

The man had just kinda stared at her as they got to a nice, new-looking black car "don't worry about cultural norms, we'll be teaching you the basics of that and teaching you some more of the Japanese language before your entrance exam"

Pony beamed excitedly as she practically skipped into the passenger seat "thank you very much, sir!"

The man got into the driver's seat before quickly buckling himself up "do you at least have a general idea of the top ten pros?" He asked politely as he started backing out of the airport.

"Oh, oh, I think I remember!" Pony never seemed to drop her excitement in her voice "there's, uh, Endeavor at the top… second is Jeanist I know that! Third and Fourth… Hawks and Crust!" However, after those four Pony seemed to have trouble managing to list anyone else. "I can barely remember the top pro back home you have so many!" Instead of sounding annoyed at the difficulty she still seemed excited.

"That's good enough. We can just teach you more about pros with the rest of your lessons" he chuckled slightly at her lack of knowledge.

Pony smiled at his amusement before looking out the window. She seemed awestruck as she looked out of the window. She could see plenty more advertisements of pros of all other kinds, with the only real exception she could see being Endeavor. But she more or less expected that with how she hears he behaves.

They continued to drive for a while, with Pony continuing to enjoy the scenery, until they soon passed by the large UA estate where she could see the whole glass building. Pony could hardly contain her excitement as she pressed her face hard against the glass of the car window "I'm going there!?"

He smiled faintly in amusement as he nodded his head. Which just got Pony more excited. "Just remember that you have to try hard to get in. Even if you get help at your uncle's place you still have to get through the entrance exam"

Pony drooped slightly "do you at least know what the test will be like?"

The lanky man smirked slightly "your uncle had long history helping with UA so he can help you mentally prepare for what they will throw at you. However, your uncle requested that I also give you a small history lesson on the way"

Pony frowned as she leaned away from the window and looked towards him "what do you mean by that? Is there a history test before getting into UA?"

"Well, there is a history class at the school but not that. Have you ever heard of a pro named All Might?" Pony just quietly nodded to the man.

"Well, obviously you don't see him much more anymore as you've seen. He used to be quite the big shot in this country. Until a few years ago" The man kept his eyes focused on the road "not many in the public truly knew why he disappeared, just getting a small announcement that the prior number one pro was retiring for one reason or another. Naturally, that's not the full story. The Hero Council just didn't want people to worry knowing someone like AllMight could… take an unexpected leave."

He soon made the car come to a stop at a rather large looking home "I do not wish to intimidate you or make you lean back on your choices, but when it comes to pro heroes, it's not all glitz and glamor like you saw back in Tokyo. A true hero has to be able to fight evil and not back down or else risk letting many people suffer. Do you think you can still handle something like that?"

Pony looked at him, frowning slightly at not getting the full story on AllMight but looked him set in the eyes and nodded her head "My dad is a hero back in the US, same with my mom. If they can be heroes and save people, I see no reason not to be one myself!"

The man smiled slightly as he stepped out of the car "well, your uncle has been waiting, let's not keep him much longer"

Pony smiled back at him, quickly stepping out of the car to follow behind him. Only feeling more set on helping people in any way she can.

Ejiro Kirishima

The hero entrance exam was quickly drawing close, and for many hero wannabes now was a time to get themselves prepared. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and most of them knew this. However, some kids took this time more seriously than others.

One of those students taking this test seriously was none other than one Ejiro Kirishima. He had short black hair that only reached down to the back of his neck. Besides that, nothing was of note with Kirishima. He was, however, shirtless with long black baggy pants as he was repeatedly lifting large heavy weights on his shoulder.

He grit his teeth before raising the weights high in the air before dropping it on the ground. He groaned softly before smiling a little at his progress while lightly grabbing at his bicep. He pulled himself up before grabbing a black wife beater and sliding it on.

He left his small workout room in his basement and walked upstairs "hey mom, I'm going to go on my run now" He rather quietly called towards the kitchen.

"Ok dear, don't be out too late you know I don't like when you're out after sundown"

"I know mom…" Kirishima called back towards her as he left the house. Once out of the house he took in a deep breath, reminding himself of why he's even doing this to begin with as he started running along the side of the road.

Even as Kirishima got tired he just started pushing himself harder to keep running. In his head a faint image of the old pro Crimson Riot, an old pro with spiked red hair and a metal mask. Everytime he thought of the pro he managed to go a little further.

Eventually Kirishima couldn't go any longer and hunched forward, panting softly. Kirishima slowly raised himself back up to look around. He faintly remembered this area when he would walk to his junior high but he wasn't as familiar with this place as some of his friends may have been.

He looked over to Dagoba beach, where a lot of trash was already piling up, but he has come to expect that from walking past it to school every day. However, in the large piles of trash he can see an old man seemingly picking up pieces of trash before putting them into a shopping cart before moving them elsewhere.

'Is that man cleaning this place up by himself?' Kirishima looked around and could tell that they were for sure by themselves 'he is! He's just doing whatever he can for his community…. Man, he's so manly!'

Kirishima started walking towards the old man with a small smile "hey, I noticed you were cleaning this place up by yourself, need any help?" He rubbed the back of his neck bashfully.

The old man turned to him, giving him a small smile. He looked like a skeleton, and that's putting it nicely. He looked like he'd been out of his prime for quite some time. He had nice, golden blond hair though, so at least the old man had something going for him. "Oh, that would be rather nice of you. I just thought I should give back to the community in some way you know?"

Kirishima smiled and nodded "It's very nice of you to do that. This place always looked so much worse because of all the trash. I wish I had the time to clean this place up myself earlier"

"No need to worry about what you could have done son. Just help me lift up some of the heavier objects. I don't quite have the strength to lift most of the trash around here"

Kirishima quickly nodded his head "what do you need moved out of the way? I can try carrying it"

The older man looked around the junkyard before pointing at an old broken down fridge "well that one is about as heavy as it gets here. If you can throw that away for me you should be able to handle just about anything around here"

Kirishima looked slightly hesitant at the fridge before quickly slapping the sides of his head "yes I can handle that" He spoke confidently as he started walking towards the fridge. The old man quietly walked behind him to just watch what happens.

Kirishima rubbed his hands together, before crouching down and putting his hands under the bottom of the fridge to try lifting it up. However, the hero to be didn't manage to lift the fridge at all, mostly just moving it forward slightly.

"Oh not bad" the old man leaned forward smiling slightly "that's way further than I got it."

"Yea… sorry. I guess I'll have to try lifting other things for now" Kirishima smiled bashfully.

The old man nodded slightly "is your quirk not good for this kind of activity?" He asked nonchalantly.

"Oh, well, my quirk is just hardening. I can make my skin harder like this" Kirishima hardened his arm to demonstrate "wouldn't really help here…"

The old man shook his head "nonsense, any quirk can be useful if you think or try hard enough." Kirishima quietly thought on his words as the old man started moving again "But if you don't feel the need to use your quirk I can't blame you either. Not like I could use one for this or anything"

"What do you mean by that?" The black-haired student asked politely as he started following behind him.

"Well, I come from a different time. A time when quirks weren't exactly common" he softly explained as he leaned down to pick up small boxes or containers "but a quirk like yours is a gift, don't forget that son"

Kirishima frowned softly. He knew some people were born without quirks but he had never actually met someone like that. Kirishima looked back to the large refrigerator and hardened his fist while thinking.

The young boy turned towards the fridge and hardened his fist before slamming it repeatedly into the fridge. Eventually, all that was left of it was a pile of rubble. He smiled slightly as he picked it up without nearly as much issue as he walked over to the old man "I got it sir"

The old man smiled at him "well done young one. I can see that quirk of yours is rather helpful"

"I guess it can have its uses… it's still not the flashiest of quirks or anything" he chuckled bashfully.

The old man shook his head "it doesn't matter if a quirk is flashy or not. Just how you use it. But I won't give you any lessons. No one wants to do chores while an old man talks their ears off" he mused.

Kiri quickly shook his head "I don't mind at all. I kinda could use some more support to fire myself up before trying out at UA"

This immediately caught the attention of the old man "Oh, so you want to be a hero kid? Well, I wish you luck. You definitely seem to have the spirit of a hero" He slowly started smiling by the end of his statement "and I've seen some amazing pros in my day"

Kirishima's eyes seemingly lit up at the praise from the old man. He could feel his spirit light up as he started ramping up his speed of grabbing or smashing rubbish. Wanted to go above and beyond, plus ultra, with cleaning up this beach.

The two cleaned the beach for several hours, with the sun having set an hour pior. Kirishima was panting and sweating softly as he looked around the beach. There was still a lot of trash around, but they made a pretty good dent into it.

"That was a workout," the old man chuckled softly.

Kirishima smiled over at him "thanks for letting me help you sir, but I really should get going my mom told me to not keep her waiting for long"

"I understand" he nods softly as he started walking towards the sidewalk as well "I should be getting home myself before the home starts worrying about me"

They both begin to walk their own separate ways. However, before the old man could walk too far away he turned back to the hardening student "I look forward to hearing how well you do as a hero" he smiled before continuing on his way.

Kirishima smiled softly before he continued home. Naturally, when he got home he had to profusely apologize to his annoyed mother, but she eventually let him go.

He went straight downstairs and walked into the bathroom. He spent a good while in that bathroom, however he would eventually walk out looking like a new man. He had long spiked red hair instead of his plain black hair, and he had a new look of strong determination. Determined to clean up the rest of that beach. And even more determined that he'll be a pro like he always wanted to be.

Denki Kaminari

Denki Kaminari looked like a pretty average boy in this world, even with his spikey yellow hair and large black bolt in his hair. He had a relaxed smile as he walked towards a large mostly glass building. He looked up to an arch over a cement wall surrounding the school. At the top of the arch was UA in a dark red.

Kaminari's relaxed smile became more confident as he stepped past the arch and onto the cement path towards the school. On the UA front entrance seemed to be hundreds of other students who were going about their own business. Some however seemed extremely nervous about their chances.

Kaminari however didn't stay too focused on everyone's mental states as he started subtely checking out some of the girls who passed by him. He'd grin and shoot most of them, earning some giggles or eyerolls. However as he walked he found another girl that particularly caught his attention.

He noticed a young girl with shoulder-length, bob-shaped hair, side-swept to her right. She had fair skin and was wearing a neutral expression on her face. She looked like almost nothing coud or would get on her nerves. So practically perfect for Kaminari to get to know.

"Hey there how are you-" before Kaminari could fully introduce himself he was quickly cut off by a handful of guys coming up and chatting it up with her.

'She's pretty popular huh?' Kaminari mused with a small smirk.

The girl glanced quietly over at him, which Kaminari noticed and quickly waved at her with a friendly smile. Her face never changed from its neutral tone as she just sent him a small nod of recognition.

Kaminari chuckled slightly 'she knows how to keep her cool' he mused to himself as he kept walking. The introduction to the school was apparently supposed to be in Auditorium A, so he spent a good while just trying to find where that was even supposed to be…

So eventually he just quietly followed other kids around until they eventually walked towards the auditorium with a large 'A' outside of it.

Kaminari looked around to try and find his seat before finding a seat in the way back, exactly where he was hoping to sit. He leaned back in his seat with his hands behind his head as he leaned back, looking much more laid back than other students.

Kaminari rested for a while, as more and more students walked into the auditorium. Once it looked like the auditorium was entirely filled up the lights in the room seemingly turned off, except for one light that continued to illuminate the stage.

A pro stood alone on the stage, and it was one almost all of the people in the crowd could immediately notice. Her hero costume consists of a sleeveless navy blue shirt with a high collar that's buttoned up all the way to her chin, puffed shorts with a green and orange pinstripe design, and a corset adorned with yellow smiley-face pins, dipping down in a shallow "U" in the center. Below this, she wears a white V-shaped belt, and on her hands, she has padded yellow gloves with golden plates over her knuckles and lower fingers, which extend in orange-striped tubes down her lower arms, with thick metal cylinders acting as wrist-guards over the top. On her face there seemed to be a plastered on wide grin and long green hair that reached her shoulders.

"Hey everyone!" She spoke cheerfully. "I hope you're all excited for a good time!"

"Woah, it's Mrs. Joke!" The kid next to Kaminari spoke excitedly as many other students in the crowd seemed to get pumped up.

"Mrs. Joke huh?" Kaminari smiled a bit looking at her "I hope she's my teacher" he mused.

"Mm" he hears coming from right next to him. The blonde looked over to the noise to see it was the same girl from outside the building that was basically getting surrounded.

"Ah, hey there. I see you and I got to sit together. Lucky me huh?" Kaminari smiled flirtaciously at her, however she didn't seem to give him any attention as she just gave a thumbs up.

Kaminari smiled a bit "not much of a talker I can dig it. Can I at least get your name?"

The girl glanced around slightly before pulling out her phone. Both of them were ignoring Mrs Joke's stand up comedy as the rest of the students seemingly relaxed from all the laughter.

The girl showed her phone to the boy. She had typed the name 'Yui Kodai' onto it.

"Pleasure to meet you Kodai" Kaminari smiled, giving her a flirty grin to her entirely blank expression.

Yui nodded softly at him, before they noticed the other students had seemingly stopped laughing. They looked back to the front of the room to see Mrs. Joke had already started moving on with the instructions.

"So enough giggles for now amrite?" She grinned at the crowd before turning slightly to point back at the projection behind her "naturally our first test will be a basic academics test to make sure you're up to the high standards of the school" she grinned, as Kaminari groaned in the far back rather loudly.

"But do not worry everyone, this test is only half of what we look at. If they only focused on intelligence I wouldn't be teaching here!" She joked, getting fewer laughs than last time, even if she didn't let it get to her "anywho, the second test is what most of you are likely here for! In this test we have quite the variety in things you'll be smashing!"

Behind her forms four different shaped robot silhouettes. All of them have large points listed under them. With them going from 1,2,3, and 0.

"These are the robots you will have to fight in this exam!" Mrs Joke explained while raising her hands. "As you can see all of these robots have points assigned to them. And to earn those points, all you have to do it break them, stop them in place, or tap a button that was located on a secret part of their machinery"

One of the students in the audience quietly raised their hand. "Yes, Comedy Fan number 25!"

A student in the crowd stood up with something of a smug grin on his face. He had average build with slicked blond hair and a slight tilt to his head to just drive home his condesention "you say one of these robots is 0 points right? Why would you have a zero pointer running around?"

Mrs. Joke smiled and waved her hands "Zero pointers are just there for an extra challenge. I just wouldn't stress out about it!"

The student seemed to be fine accepting that answer as he took a seat with his same smug smile.

"I can't wait for that part of the test" Kaminari murmured "I've never been good at tests" he slowly looked at her with a bit more of a mischievous smile "how are you at tests?"

Yui just waved her hands in a so-so signal. Kaminari quietly thought about trying to peek… once or twice.

"The written tests will be handed out now! We have eyes everywhere so I wouldn't consider glancing over your shoulders!" Mrs. Joke warned with her constant excitable nature.

Kaminari straightened up at her words as a pro hero dressed as a cowboy started walking up the stairs handing out papers "do not start before all of the papers have been handed out! After you're done you may head to the designated battle field." Mrs. Joke instructed.

The papers were eventually passed down to Kaminari and Yui. Kaminari couldn't help showing some nervousness on the test while Yui was just waiting to start already.

Mrs. Joke eventually gave them the go ahead. Kaminari saw how cool Yui was for the test and took a slow, deep breath. He smiled softly before opening the first page up.

Kaminari's eyes widened almost immediately as he looked over the paper and clutched the sides of his head 'w-what the hell is an advanced trigonometry!?'

Kaminari's confidence had almost entirely dropped since being handed the test. He looked around slightly before trying to sneak a peek at Yui's test. She, however, noticed pretty quickly and moved her arm to cover her answers.

He let out a small sigh before just trying to answer the test as best as he could.

Kaminari felt like his soul had already left his body as he slowly walked towards Battle Field Gama. As he walked forward he can see there's a rather large crowd of people standing around.

"Huh, that's quite a few competitors" he mused to himself "I'll have to shock the competition" He smirked a bit at his own pun.

"You don't seem to be taking this so seriously" the smug voice from earlier spoke up.

Kaminari slowly turned around to see the other blonde "well, I am a bit confident in my quirk" he shrugged "no need to take this test super serious or anything"

The other boy rolled his eyes and pat him on the head while walking past him "don't worry, I'm sure you'll do just fine on this test"

"Hey don't talk to me like I'm a kid" Kaminari frowned as he tried fixing his hair. After his hair was fixed Kami looked around, trying to see if he noticed anyone, however Yui seemed to be somewhere else.

"Dang, I was hoping to see if she was more than looks and brains," Kaminari mused as he just started stretching himself to get limbered up and ready for the test.

He stretched for a decent while, feeling a distinct sense of being watched as he did so. However he couldn't really tell who was looking his way in the large crowd. However he didn't notice a small purple blur sneaking around between the wave of people.

While Kaminari was relaxed and just enjoying casually talking among other people, they can suddenly hear Mrs. Joke's voice above them on some loud speakers "you're all starting comedy fans! No timer before you start kiddos just gotta go in!"

"What?" Kaminari looked up to her standing at a watch tower "what does she mean by tha-" he looked towards the others to see all of them were running into the battlefield.

"Shooot!" Kaminari flailed slightly as he started running as fast as he could to catch up with all of the others getting ahead of him. He managed to catch up with them rather easily as they all went off in their own directions, with some being faster than others..

"I gotta get some points quick," Kaminari murmured before running towards a wide open street along with a few other students. The street had many different robots coming towards them, making many of the heroes standing with him shake in fear.

"Now's my chance for some big points!" He smiled excitedly as he ran towards the group of bots before anyone else could get them first. Kaminari could quickly tell that there was at least two level 3's and four level 2's coming towards him and a handful of level 1's.

A level 3 raised its arm to swing at him before electricity started forming around him "let's go! 500 volts!" He cheered excitedly as he brought his hands down and the electricity started enveloping an area all around him and the robots.

Denku Kaminari: his quirk- Electrification! Denki Kaminari can produce electricity all over his body and expand it over short distances! However, he has no control over where his electricity may go, hitting friend and foe!

Kaminari continued to produce electricity, short circuting all of the robots that were in his range with a confident grin. However, he didn't keep his electricity going long before it started to shrink and disappear.

When the electricity was entirely gone and the robots around him collapsed Kaminari just gave a brainless, goofy grin while giving thumbs up "yay, yay" he kept moving his arms to throw the thumbs up.

Another downside of his quirk is that when he uses too much electricity he short-circuted his brain and can't do much of else afterwards.

While he was shortcircuting and walking around effectively blindlessly, a 1 pointer started running towards him to strike him once again.

Before the robot could effectively crush him a purple blip flew towards him and pushed him out of the way and into an alleyway. Before the robot could chase after them two purple spheres stuck the robot to the ground.

Kaminari collapsed onto the ground with his savior basically sitting on his chest.

"Oh thank goodness! I was so worried that the robot would hurt your beautiful face!" Kaminari just continued to smile softly as he kept giving a thumbs up "yay"

Minori smiled a bit "I'm glad you appreciate my heroic task" she slowly started getting up "but I can't stick around I gotta get a lot more points if I wanna be a top student!" Mineta blew him a kiss before quickly running out of the alleyway with her little legs.

Kaminari didn't respond to any of her words or actions as he just kept on keeping on.

Teachers Room

In the teachers room many different kinds of pros were sitting together in the dark watching many different screens. The cowboy hero was back along with one dressed like an astronaut, one dressed in all black with a purple gas mask, a small rat, a guy dressed up in multicolored armor that only showed the top part of his face, a woman who looked like she was from high society, and in a large seat at the end was a man dressed in all red with tubes going along his body.

"This year is going rather well" The small rat mused while sipping some tea. "They seem to really understand what it takes to be a hero" He was currently watching a young woman who had her hands clasped as large vines wrapped around some robots and smashed them together.

"Some of them are rather good at keeping their cool" The cowboy nodded while watching a young blonde smile and blast through another robot with a laser coming from his bellybutton.

"And some are rather fast" the sophisticated woman smiled while watching a kid with pure black skin dissapear into a dark alleyway before moving quickly from robot to robot.

"They seem to be doing well now" the muscular pro in all red and some white spoke gruffly "but that doesn't mean they'll be able to handle the big leagues"

"I-is that my cue?" The pro in the suit of armor spoke meekly, and only received a silent nod. He gulped slightly as he pressed a large red button next to one of the screens. Suddenly, in the battle arenas multiple buildings were beginning to collapse as the students watched in fear.

Neito Monoma

Neito Monoma wore his smug grin as he snuck around, past all of the other students while lightly tapping some that were doing particularly well. He was the student who earlier had a small little chat with the electric quirk user. He however knew his quirk wasn't flashy and he knew he couldn't score at the top of his class, but that didn't mean he was just going to let other people score above him if he could help it.

For instance, he could see a fiery blond creating explosions from his hands zoning in one of the robots near him. Monoma smiled smugly as he jumped towards the robot and set his hands on it, sending a quick wave of electricity that short circuited the robot before the other student could blow it up.

"That's a good quirk I have to give you props for that" Monoma smiled at the other student as he flew towards him. He raised his hand in the air for a high-five only to mostly be ignored as the explosive student glared at him and flew by.

Monoma shrugged "I'll just have to show him up somehow else" he mused while shrugging.

Monoma quietly jogged around the area, looking into a handful of quirks that were being used. He could see someone make drill arms, one rolling around in a small ball, and one looked like he was just a ghost flying around possesing robots.

"Oh that's good" Monoma smirked at the last one.

The student with the phantom quirk popped out of the robot after shutting him down. Monoma reached to touch the back of his before he could disappear again when everyone heard a loud 'SMAAASH'

Almost everyone stopped in place to look over at the loud crashing sound. From the ground a gigantic robot seemed to have come out of nowhere and was just rolling forward on its tanky wheels.

Almost all of the students in the general area started quickly running away from the monster. Either being intimidated by the robot or wanting to get out of there to get new robot points.

Monoma however, couldn't help but smile looking at the large threat and everyone running away.

'You all want to be heroes when you run at the very first sign of a serious threat? It's almost like everyone wants me to show them up!'

Monoma lightly tapped someone as they passed him by. Quickly understanding that their quirk allowed them to basically become paper thin.

Monoma smirked softly as he started running towards the large machine while aftivating the quirk to make himself thin while jumping into the air to catch a breeze and fly towards its upper body.

Once he landed on the upper body he looked back and smirked seeing the explosive quirk user coming after the robot as well.

'Nice try bomber-man, this is a case where I'll be number one on the teacher's minds' He smirked as he crawled into the robot's thick head with his skin body, easily sneaking through an opening lining the side.

The jack-of-all-trades student was still flat as paper as he looked around the insides of the machine and grinned to himself. He raised his hand, and with his hand he started easily cutting through wires and machine parts.

On the outside he can hear loud explosions going off that seemed to shake the entire robot. However those only motivated Monoma to start cutting and slashing much faster and quicker. He was gonna steal his limelight along with just about every other student!

After a few more slashes from his hand, the robot seemed to be falling backwards. Monoma quickly noticed and slipped back out and jumped into the air as the robot fully collapsed. He was about to fly into the air, only for the paper quirk to suddenly give in.

'Of course it would' Monoma mentally groaned before falling, flailing as he quickly started descending to the ground.

Monoma landed on his back onto a pile of robotic rubble, landing away from where everyone was. Standing atop the pile was the explosive quirk user, who was smiling psychotically as he just ignored the injured student.

All of the other students had stopped running to look towards him "h-holy crap" one of them spoke in genuine shock.

"I guess we know he's getting in," another murmured. "I mean he took that thing down all by himself!"

Monoma couldn't help dropping his smug smile to glare up at Bakugo, who just returned the stare.

"Twenty seconds left, listeners! Butter hurry up!" They hear Joke announce while giggling to herself.

Monoma and Bakugo, however, didn't seem to feel any reason to move from where they were as they just glared at each other. "Got something to say extra?"

Monoma glared at him, but before their argument could get much further a loud timer went off, causing everyone to pretty much immediately stop doing what they were doing. Bakugo got off his pile and started walking off.

Monoma tried getting up but grunted slightly "that fall hurt a lot more than I realized" he murmured quietly to himself.

While he was trying to get up a person started walking over with a slightly annoyed look "you sure got injured huh"

Monoma looked up to see a rather young woman dressed up as though she was a doctor. She also wore a visor and had her dark black hair up in two buns. "You kids get more reckless each year don't you?"

Monoma raised an eye at her as she slowly leaned down and pecked him on the forehead. He blushed softly as he felt some of his wounds heal "I feel better already?" Monoma then quickly smiled to himself "wait I know you, you're Recovery Girl aren't you?"

She smiled and shrugged at him "yea, you got me"

"You're the only reason this school can even hold its exams each year" Monoma smiled as he stood up "I must say I'm a big fan miss" he extended a hand towards her.

She smiled a bit at him "well thanks. Not often I have a fanboy trying to join UA. just don't think sweet talking is all you need to get in" she mused as she shook his hand "but you did rather well from what I saw"

He just smiled like a friend at her, while in secret was analyzing her quirk 'oh that's a good one. I could probably use this…!'

They eventually nodded to each other as she walked off. Monoma just smiled, knowing the teachers were bound to know he was the real destroyer of that robot.

Teachers

"That Bakugo destroyed a robot all on his own!" Mrs Joke clapped while joining the rest of her teaching body.

"He does seem to have a lot of promise, even with his rather aggressive nature" the small rat nodded his head in agreement.

"Eh he was ok. He sure has an annoying attitude" the man with a gas mask and light blue hair rolled his eyes "we'll just have to wait on Lucky Strike and Sensor Girl to finish the final tally if we want to know he can back himself up"

Mrs Joke sat down next to the small rat with a smile "who do you hope to get in your class this year Nezu?"

Nezu smiled at her while sipping some tea "there's quite a few students I would want to see get better and really show their stuff. But I must say Katsuki would be a good one to have. I believe I could fix that little attitude of his if need be"

Mrs. Joke smiled "I saw a few kids sitting in the back who didn't laugh at any of my jokes. I'm absolutely taking some of them. No way amI going to stop them from laughing as hard as possible!"

Nezu smiled softly "just remember to pick those that are promising not just those who are good audience members. You got in trouble with Vlad King last year, remember?"

Mrs. Joke giggled weakly "y-yes, I remember…"

"Everyone" the man in the red costume, the principal Vlad King, opened the door "we have our rankings ready and open for viewing. Our top four was a competitive ranking, worse than last year"

The only three pros still sitting in the room quickly got up to follow him to a much larger presentation room. All of the other teachers were already there as Mrs. Joke stood at the front entrance.

The top ten was on the big screen, displayed as:

10: Tenya Iida

9: Togaru Kamakiri

8: Ochako Uraraka

7th: Tijo Tamashiro

6th: Yu Takeyama

5th: Rumi Usagiyama

4th: Fumikage Tokoyami

3rd: Ibara Shiozaki

2nd: Katsuki Bakugo

1st: Ejiro Kirishima

"Oh, one of the kids who didn't laugh is on there!" Mrs. Joke smiled wide while pointing at student number 4.

Nezu smiled "well, now begins the fun part of the class choice. Deciding who gets which students"

Mrs. Joke leaned down towards him as she opened her mouth to say something before Nezu cut her off "I call Tenya Iida. That's what you were going to say right?"

She sighed with a smile "you always beat me to my first pick!"

"Don't worry, I wouldn't let you take one of my favorite choices through 'calling it'. So I won't do the same."

Vlad King looked at those two in particular "I expect you both to take your classes seriously." he glanced towards Mrs. Joke as he spoke "These are the heroes of the future, we can't fail them"

Nezu waved dismissively "we will be fine Vlad-sensei. Our last three classes have been some of the best the hero world has seen in awhile"

The principal smiled softly at him "that is true. Just remember if any of your students cause any issues… send them to me" his tone became a bit more intimidating as Mrs. Joke and Nezu just nodded their heads.

"Let's make this another good year for heroes nationwide!" Vlad King stated proudly as he turned away from the two.

AN: and that's the end of our second chapter. And in this chapter we got the introduction of some more students in our class A! Along with a handful that will end up in class B. This chapter also showed off how some of the teachers are either new or just swapped around. Mrs. Joke was the obvious example of a new teacher, but there's also the new addition of most of the Isamu class in the OVA. For those of u who are sticking around, I would enjoy seeing some guesses for who was randomly picked to be stuck in the class. But, for simplicity's sake I'll also share who is a guaranteed class A from what you all know.

Class A: Denki Kaminari, Koji Koda, Ejiro Kirishima, Minori Mineta, Neito Monoma, Pony Tsunotori, Setsuna Tokage, Rumi Usagiyama, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?
