Hanta Sero

Hanta Sero was your average everyday teenager. If you ignored his massive elbows that were shaped like tape dispensers. But besides that, totally normal. He had short black hair that was spiked downwards with a simple warm smile.

While by himself he preferred to wear baggier clothing. He was wearing a long white t-shirt and pale green pants.

Like most students across Japan, he was just waiting to either be accepted into UA or turned down. Sero remembered capturing around 20 points in his tape webs, but he didn't know if that was a lot or not.

Sero was sitting in his room, just playing a game on a console in his room. While he was just minding his own business he could hear his door slam open.

Sero perked up, expecting it to be his mom with the letter only to see his sister standing at the door. She had a similar appearance to Sero, including the same strange elbows.

Sero immediately dropped back down on his bean bag "what do you want?"

"Mom told me to stop bugging her so I want to do something!" She moved closer before plopping down on the ground to face him.

Sero sighed softly "Akemi, I'm kinda waiting on an important letter here. Can't you go out and play with a friend?"

"They're busy and I'm boooooored!" She raised her fists to lightly punch him in the arm until he'd finally agreed.

Sero sighed softly before grabbing her by the top of the head. He smiled at her as he pushed her away "You're lucky you're my favorite sister. If I take you to a mall will you at least pretend to promise to leave me alone for the day?"

Akemi crossed her arms while glaring at him but slowly nodded "fine"

Sero slowly stood up and smiled down at her "just remember I'm not carrying you there"

The girl continued to pout but didn't argue with him as they started walking out of the house. Sero smiled softly seeing her excitedly run ahead of him.

'I'm probably stressing too much on those tests anyway Sitting around waiting for some results to come in won't do me any good'

Sero followed behind his sister, leaning back with a relaxed smile as they walked along the sidewalk. As they walked Sero made sure to keep an eye out for anyone around them. Especially as they passed by a small store with televisions playing the news that featured the usual: a crime wave.

Growing up he had gotten used to having to be careful when walking around. The number one hero for the last few years, Endeavor, was far from a unifier like they needed. When she became number 1 many criminals started feeling much more confident.

Sero had walked home and seen people stealing or running around doing what they wanted more times than he could count. Crime seemed like it was just as good of a career as heroics were for some in his class, especially when his town was only resident to small-time pros.

The big pros always preferred handling big threats in places such as Tokyo or Yokohama. His city wasn't nearly as important in the grand scheme of Japan. He didn't hold it against big-time pros, Tokyo seemed to be the center of the biggest villains at the same time as the biggest heroes.

He continued to think about heroism and thinking about all of the students in his class who've talked about people like the Quirk Killer or Moonfish. Both were murderers and rather ruthless at that, but they seemed to garner plenty of attention in one way or another from his classmates.

Sero snapped out of his daydreaming as his sister started pulling on his shirt. Sero looked down at her for a moment before looking around "oh, did we get here already?" He smiled "sorry, just thinking about the acceptance letter still"

She puffed out her cheeks with a frown "come on pay attention, what's the fun of going shopping when I'm not forcing you to play along?"

Sero just smirked down at her "fine, what's the plan then?"

The girl just grabbed him by the arm and dragged him along "that's more like it"

Sero just smiled in small amusement as he got dragged along and helped her pick out some clothing.

They spent a good few hours going around and his sister was currently changing into something new before buying it. He was having a really good time, but he couldn't shake the feeling that the entire time he had been with his sister that someone was quietly watching him.

While he waited for his sister, he could feel the look over at him. He frowned slightly as he glanced over his shoulder. The store was more or less just him, his sister, and a few employees.

'I must be getting really paranoid,' he thought to himself.

"Hey, I'm done!"

Sero looked back to see his sister wearing a pretty long pink dress with a small white vest around her shoulders "this looks good right?"

Sero smirked a little "I guess you could say it's passable"

She pouted in annoyance at him "fine, you can pay for it"

Sero just chuckled as he reached into his pocket "you're lucky I'm such a loving brother" Sero walked to the front desk to buy the dress for his sister, feeling the same sense of being watched as always as they walked out of the store.

"Think you got enough clothes now?" Sero smirked while holding a small bag in his arm.

"I suppose it's good enough" she nods while walking ahead of him.

Sero chuckled slightly as they began to start their walk out of the mall. When they reached the exit Sero felt someone tapping his shoulder suddenly.

Sero jumped slightly and quickly looked around, but was only faced with two friendly smiles. The one on the right had blue skin, rough and rock-like, almost as if it were a carapace. He has no visible hair, nose, or ears, but he has a wide jagged mouth with a protruding spike sticking upwards on either side of his face. He was dressed very casually in a simple black jacket and blue sweatpants.

The one on the left meanwhile was a young man with small, black, oval-shaped eyes, a notable smallmouth, and a round nose. He has wavy, shoulder-length black hair which is pushed back on his forehead before it comes down to frame his face. He was simply wearing an all-black shirt and all-black pants. Around his neck, he had a long red scarf

Sero smirked slightly "Hey Toteki, Makabe. what have you been up to since getting out of class?"

The one on the left, Toteki, shrugged a little in response. Makabe meanwhile smirked slightly as he raised his phone to show off someone's number. Sero slowly read it before looking at the name "No way, you got her number? You don't leave anything for anyone else"

Makabe smirked back as he rubbed his knuckles against his shirt. "What have you been up to?" Toteki quietly asked.

Sero shrugged, "I took that UA entrance exam recently. Just waiting on the results now" while Sero was continuing their conversation his sister was repeatedly pulling on his shirt.

They both glanced at each other before looking at him "You still want to go to UA?" The one with long hair tilted his head slightly.

"Well, yea" Sero smiled "heroism is what I've always wanted to get into"

Makabe shook his head a little before his friend continued "Whatever you say, man. But heroism isn't as cool as they made it out to be when we were kids"

Sero just shrugged with the smile still plastered on his face "That's just what you guys think. Everyone knows heroes are the type of people that everyone wants to be around"

Makabe seemingly finally opened his mouth to speak "You're way too confident in yourself," he mused in a charming, deep voice, "but we didn't come around just to mock you for it"

"Just make sure you two stay out of trouble" the hero-to-be smiled at them "I'd rather not have to turn you two in for something stupid like graffiti."

Both of the boys chuckled softly at his joke, causing Sero to smile a bit more. However, his feeling of paranoia came back, this time he could feel the one staring at him coming from ahead. He looked past his two school friends to try and spot where this feeling was coming from.

There was a large crowd of people, so he couldn't quite tell anyone apart. However, as he kept looking his eyes slowly honed in on a figure in a green jacket and jeans. He couldn't tell what their face looked like but could see a strand of green hair.

Sero frowned as he quietly took a step back "it was nice seeing you guys and all, but I should really be heading out" He then leaned closer to his two friends to whisper to them "There's someone behind you who's been watching me all day, be careful"

The two looked at him funny before slowly nodding. Sero nodded back before bringing his smile back to his face and started walking off with his sister.

"Oh, now you want to hurry up" his sister grumbled towards him.

"Look when we get back I'll convince mom to get us all ice cream. Is that good enough for you?" Sero asked while trying to help move her faster.

"I guess" she smiled smugly at him.

Sero looked back to the crowds, immediately noticing that the hooded figure seemingly disappeared. Sero gulped nervously before quickly moving along faster.

The two rushed their way to their small home and he quickly closed the door before locking it "ok, we should lock the doors until we come up with a good idea for what to d-" suddenly he heard a knock at the door.

Sero shot up, getting ready to tape the door shut when Akemi just went to the door "sis, don't open that! That could be the guy who was watching us back at the mall!"

She just stared at him before opening the door. On the other side was the person in a green hoodie. Sero was ready to tape them down when they chuckled nervously and lowered their hoodie.

It was a bashful-looking girl with light green hair and a lean body shape. Her face however was slightly round "s-sorry if I was creeping you out there…"

Sero slowly relaxed his arms before smiling at her "scared? Me? Oh, not really" he chuckled softly "you definitely scared my little sis though"

Akemi glared at him, stepping on his foot before walking further into the house. Sero groaned and held his foot, before trying to look cool for the guest "so, what were you staring at us for?"

She fidgeted slightly as she looked down "It's e-embarrassing t-t-to say… b-b-but at the U-UA entrance exam I-I remember seeing you. I-I just thought your quirk was cool s-so I k-kind of g-got distracted…"

Sero smiled softly at her with a small blush "I didn't think I'd leave anyone with a really big impression like that"

She shook her head slightly "No way, your quirk is amazing!" She beamed at him "S-shooting t-tape like that looks s-so cool. I can't imagine them p-possibly turning you down"

Sero chuckled as he rubbed the back of his neck, not being used to all the praise "W-well, maybe I should get your name before we end up in a class together"

She immediately nodded as her eyes widened slightly "How rude of me, I totally forgot to share that. I'm Izumi Midoryia. N-nice to meet you"

"Hanta Sero" he smiled while extending his hand towards her. The green-haired girl looked a little hesitant but eventually took his hand and shook it.

Sero smiled once she let go of his hand "It was nice meeting you. I hope I'll have the chance to see you more in class"

The shorter girl smiled and nodded "I say the s-same!"

Once she was gone Sero smiled as he closed the door 'that went a whole lot better than I was expecting. He was about to walk away when he noticed something slipped through the mail slot in the door.

Sero raised an eyebrow before bending down to pick it up. His eyes shot open as he realized where this letter came from "I totally forgot that was coming in!" Without any further delay he ran up to his room and opened the letter.

Inside was just one small gray disk. He was quietly sweating, he knew this one letter would decide his whole future.

He clicked the side of the small contraption, causing an image of the principal Vlad King to appear in hologram form with a stern expression.

Koji Koda

Not long after the letters were sent out the new illustrious class A and B were decided upon. And in all honesty, Koji Koda was not expecting to get anywhere close to the hero course. Not that he was complaining or anything.

Koda walked towards UA with the most confident smile he could muster. This was a whole new world, and he had the full intention to make a good first impression. Or at least as good of an impression as someone like him could make.

The rocky head student walked past many students talking on the front grassy area of the school. He could hear many different conversations going on at once, but took no interest in any of them as he kept his head down.

'Keep your head down and no one will have a reason to look at you' he mentally reassured himself. Just stepping into the school proper brought back all of his anxiety and fear. What if he wasn't as strong or courageous as the other students? What if his quirk just wasn't flashy enough?

His self-doubt never left his head as he slowly trudged up the stairs. Knowing some of the other students would look his way and immediately start whispering about him being a hero student or how big and intimidating he was.

As he got to the top of the stairs, he could see the 1-A door near the end of a long hall. Koda's legs were practically shaking as he looked towards the large door. He took one slow step after another.

Koda continued to walk for a while before noticing people staring at him as they walked past him. However, eventually one of the students stopped in place to face him "so… can I ask what game you two are playing?"

The student Koda was facing was only a bit shorter than him, however, his face looked almost as mutated as his. The student had very pale skin and teeth that span a majority of his face from where his lips would be to his ears. He also had short, ashy hair.

However, what Koda immediately started to wonder was… 'two?' Koda slowly turned his head to see a much smaller student walking just as slow as him, but with a wide grin. She had her eyes closed and looks like she was just totally relaxed. Pony looked like she was just enjoying a little game.

She soon noticed Koda had stopped moving. She opened her eyes and smiled towards Koda while saying something in a language he simply couldn't understand in the slightest.

The one with the skeletal face smiled towards the girl before saying something back in the language. Before long the two were in a casual conversation.

Koda, seeing his escape, started quietly sneaking past the two. He continued to the door, breathing softly. This was gonna be his first impression, and he knew he couldn't embarrass himself like with those other two.

He slowly creaked the door open to get a peep in, and almost immediately regretted it. Inside looked like pure unapologetic anarchy.

In the front row, Rumi was staring down at the short girl sitting next to her, Minori, while her feet rested on her desk. Minori in return was staring back just as angrily "You think you're really cool with your mommy proportions, don't you? Well, you just wait!"

"I have no idea what you're even going on about" Rumi deadpanned while eating a carrot.

"You know when you walked in the boys in the back we're looking at you when I'm right here!" Minori was just getting more annoyed as Rumi started obviously ignoring her.

Not far from them he could see a boy his age with green skin and an insect-like appearance. At the top of his head was a green mohawk. From His cheeks, two sharp blades bent towards his lips.

Across from him was Kirishima, who was raising his hand to arm wrestle him with a confident smile. His dyed red hair was spiked up and looked the same as when he dyed a few days ago. They both took each other's hands before trying to push the other down. Several other students were watching or saying they were up next.

Koda could see, in the very back right corner of the class, no one had taken any seats yet. Seeing his chance he made a b-line around all the

He sighed in relief, lowering his head a little as he finally found his seat. He hadn't talked to a single one of these kids and he was already feeling nervous.

"Not used to the limelight, am I right?"

Koda slowly turned his head to his fellow student, seeing a figure he really just couldn't have imagined being here. Sitting next to him was a boy who looked like he was just wearing a black cloth on his head. The cloth had a small plastic beak on the end and there were three red rings around his neck that looked like paper-mache. For where his face should be, he could see that their eyes were drawn on with a marker. The eyes didn't look remotely symmetrical.

The back of his bag had spikes that presumably were supposed to look more like they were feathers. His arms were also covered in a similar black cloth as his face and neck. Both arms were slouched down, they were so relaxed and unmoving Koda had to wonder if there was even an arm in there.

Koda could tell he was staring too much as he tried to speak in sign language. "My name is Koji Koda"

The sack man looked at him, before looking back at his head and tilting its head slightly "I don't quite know that you're trying to say, so I must apologize." one of his hands started suddenly raising like a doll's hand "I'm Fumikage Tokoyami"

Koda still looked scared of his apparent classmate but slowly shook his hand. Koda stared at his strange appearance before finally pulling his hand back and trying to go back to not gaining any attention.

His little plan worked as more and more of his classmates trickled in. Koda would glance over occasionally to see all of the other students. Seeing the student with the weird mouth and the equestrian one walking in together.

After a while, most of the seats were taken, with only the seat in front of him being left open. Koda glanced around, wondering where the last student would be before the door slammed open.

Her entire appearance looked like a mess. Her hair, her uniform, it was all in total disarray.

"Hey, Midoryia actually got in," Sero quietly mused as he slouched forward a few seats away from him.

Izumi didn't greet any of the other students, just giving them all small glances before finally taking her seat in front of Koda. The much taller boy gave her a small smile as he waved, however, the girl only glanced over her shoulder before turning away from him.

Koda dejectedly lowered his head, already feeling like he'd messed up his first day. However, he didn't have long until the door slammed right back open with Mrs. Joke jumping in with an excited smile.

"Hey students and welcome to your first year of UA!" Their teacher cheered as she stood behind her podium.

None of the students seemed to cheer back to her, as all of them just stared at her before going back to whatever conversations they were having prior. Mrs. Joke just sighed "I didn't want to have to use this so early"

She put a mask to her face with a wide grin before tapping her hand on the table "ok everyone! What do you call a fake noodle?" No one responded. "AN im-pasta!"

Before anyone could react they all burst into a laughing fit, even Koda felt himself uncontrollably laugh for a few moments. Mrs. Joke smiled as she dropped her mask as they slowly started settling down.

"Now, if everyone's relaxed let me fully introduce myself!" Mrs. Joke smiled before clearing her throat "I'm Mrs. Joke and I will be your homeroom teacher!"

Mrs. Joke noticed a wide range of apathy or silence among the crowd. She frowned slightly while raising her gas mask back up slowly. Almost immediately everyone started clapping.

clapping excitedly.

Their teacher grinned before dropping the gas mask. "Oh, you're all too kind! I haven't felt this welcomed in ages!" She basked in their happiness for a while, before clearing her throat "well, anyways, today is your first day. So I feel like we should start this year off with a bang!"

Suddenly, a bunch of confetti went off in the corners of the room, nearly giving Koda a heart attack. "Everyone get into your sweats and meet me outback! We're taking a note from my hubby Aizawa's teaching book!" Mrs. Joke didn't wait much longer before jumping right out of the room without another word.

All of the students looked at each other, just confused about if she was their teacher or some homeless woman. But either way, they got up to start getting changed. Koda silently hoped for this to be a nice, easy exercise.

Togaru Kamakiri

'This school year is already bullshit' Kamakiri was the student with an insectoid look. He looked very annoyed already. From the teacher to lose to that guy with shitty hair, he was having a much different time than he was anticipating.

Kamakiri glared slightly at Kirishima while stretching himself. Everyone had already gotten dressed into their light blue sweats. He didn't know what their teacher was going to throw at them but one way or another he was prepared to win this.

"You doing ok?" Kirishima smiled innocently at Kamakiri.

"I'm fine" Kamakiri nods, continuing his stretch. "I'm just getting ready to win this little starting challenge" he smiled proudly.

Kirishima just smiled back "I'll be putting in my best so you better give a manly display to match your words!"

Kamakiri just smirked "you can believe I will"

The boys started walking out of the changing room, seeing all of the girls in class wearing similar outfits. "Everyone's looking good!" Mrs. Joke complimented. Their teacher was standing in front of a shotput ring. "Now, I'm sure you're all wondering what we will do to be testing you all right?"

Most of the kids just shrugged, not seeming too interested in what was going on. "Well!" Mrs. Joke continued "we'll be testing what you're all made of!" She looked over the crowd of students with the same smile.

"Ah, Tokoyami, how far could you throw a ball back in primary school?"

"I suppose forty meters if I have to think off the top of my head." The bagged figure spoke somberly.

"Well come up here and demonstrate if you would" Mrs. Joke stepped aside while handing him a ball.

Tokoyami stumbled to the circle done out in chalk. Moving his sack arms slowly before spinning them around and flinging the ball ahead. Mrs. Joke held up a small mechanical object, showing he reached 42 meters.

"Now, would you try without your quirk please?" She asked politely.

Tokoyami looked at her, making sure that it was fine. His teacher just nodded her head. Tokoyai took his cue, as several dark tendrils came from under his gym clothing, latching onto the ball. The student reeled his arm back before flinging it as hard as he could.

Mrs. Joke held up her small machine to show he had reached a full 200 meters. Everyone stared in surprised at how far he got.

"With enough use of your quirks, you can do just about anything! That's what these tests will be about. Showing off the versatility of your quirks if you think hard enough"

This seemed to excite a handful of the students as they looked at each other, but this only made Kamakiri more set to become the undisputed top dog.

"So, who wants to throw next?" Mrs. Joke asked with a smile.

Kamakiri immediately raised his hand, along with a handful of other students such as Rumi and Kirishima "I think I saw Togaru raise his hand first! Come on up" she cheered while tossing him the ball.

Kamakiri smirked as he took the ball, throwing it up and down in his palm 'time to blow them all away!'

He turned away from the front of the circle, holding the ball on his shoulder as he put spikes on his feet like cleats. He raised his back foot slowly before he started rapidly spinning. He raised his hand high to throw the ball as far as he could. He had a confident smile on his face with his eyes still shut.

"A solid 45 meters, well-done Togaru!" Mrs. Joke complimented him.

Togaru's eyes almost immediately opened as he looked towards the ball, seeing it wasn't nearly as far as the last guy's. He grumbled quietly in annoyance as he heard a mocking laugh from the side.

"You call that a throw?" His rabbit-eared classmate mocked as she stepped forward "I'll show you all a serious throw!"

Mrs. Joke just smiled at her determination as she tossed a ball over to her. Rumi stepped into the circle after Kamakiri moved out of the way. She grabbed the ball firmly before turning to the side and taking one hard step forward to throw the ball high into the air.

It takes a few moments but eventually, Mrs. Joke got a score "250 meters!" Mrs. Joke praised "That will be the score to beat kids!"

"That was such a manly throw!" Kirishima cheered, immediately stepping up to go next.

Kamakiri was pretty obviously annoyed at how weak he was, but it didn't help when he saw his female classmate's smug smile towards him.

"Be as smug as you want I'm gonna cut through the rest of these" he smirked slightly with his arms crossed.

"We'll see about that" Rumi smirked.

The next activity on the group's list was the 50-meeter dash. The two who were lined up first were Pony and a boy with purely black skin and white hair. The student smirked slightly as he glanced over at Pony. A machine standing at the end of the 50 meters. It let out a loud whistle noise to signal for them to go ahead.

Pony sprinted on all four, galloping faster than most of the students anticipated. The other student however seemed to just entirely vanish from sight. Pony didn't pay attention to his disappearance however as she just lowered her head and passed through the end. However, when she got close, the other student suddenly appeared in Pony's shadow and jumped past her to the finish line.

"Shihai Kuroiro, 3.15 seconds" the robot announced. "Pony Tsunotori, 3.30 seconds"

"Sorry" Kuroiro smirked slightly as he looked away from her "Couldn't help taking the advantage"

Shihai Kuroiro- quirk: Black! Kuroiro has the power to vanish into anything black or a shade of it! Be it purely black or just dark due to circumstance!

Pony skidded to a stop once they passed and immediately looked towards her classmate, Kuroiro "How did you do that!? That quirk is so cool!" Pony asked, so excited she didn't even try speaking English.

Kuroiro just looked at her before quietly walking away. Pony pouted a bit before quickly following after him asking more questions.

Neito Monoma and Mina were the next two up.

Mina Ashido was another one of the mutants in this class, with her skin looking more like a gooy toy for a child than normal flesh. This body of hers was bright pink. Her eyes were also very different, yellow with black irises. She also had short, spiked pink. Her figure was rather athletic and lean with wide hips, perfect for a dancer.

She had an excited smile on her face as they were both set off. Monoma ran like a normal human, not worrying about any display of his quirk. Mina meanwhile started quickly sprinting ahead of him.

Mina's body seemingly started distorting in its form as she started rolling up into a ball of slime as she started picking up speed. She rolled across well before Monoma.

"Mina Ashido, 4.10 seconds" it announced while waiting for Monoma "Neito Monoma, 7.20 seconds"

"Heh, not bad" Monoma smiled at his time.

Mina slowly formed back into her original form, just giving him a weird loon.

Mina Ashido- quirk: Slime! Mina is made almost entirely out of slime, allowing her to change her form into basic objects and easily pull parts of herself off! Well, the second part isn't so useful but what a quirk!

Kamakiri just smirked as he got ready to race against some weird blonde that kept trying to dazzle and shine since he got there. "Don't be intimidated if I outshine you in this mon ami" the blondie winked with a small smile.

Kamakiri just looked at him funny when the whistle went off. Kamakiri got up and started running, smirking at an easy win. What he wasn't expecting was for the blonde to suddenly, and easily catch up.

Aoyama smiled smugly at his opponent, seemingly flying right past him at top speeds.

"Yugo Aoyama, 3.10 seconds," the robot announced. It takes a few moments before Kamakiri would cross the same line "6.52 seconds" it announced.

'Damn it' the insectoid growled in his head while hunching forward.

"Don't worry" Aoyama smiled down at him "It's hard to compete with… perfection" he struck a pose as he started shimmering. Kamakiri just glared at him in return, though the French student didn't seem to respond.

'I'll just start picking it up in the next few challenges!'

The next activity was a long jump over a pit of sand. Kamakiri smirked, already having a plan in his head as he started running towards the sand, as he jumped into the air he sprouted large spikes on his feet before diving forward and over the sand.

Kamakiri smirked proudly as he lay on the pavement. Before he could celebrate much, someone flew right over him.

Rumi landed right in front of him before clapping her hands in triumph "Oh that was an easy one cricket! You can do better than that right?"

Kamakiri had already gotten sick of being shown up as he just glared at her.

The rest of the activities didn't go much better for him, however. In the long-distance run, he only got an average score, leaving students like Mineta and Izumi in the back and students like Sero and Pony in the lead.

Side steps came next and the only student who did particularly well there was Mineta who was bouncing rapidly between two grape clusters.

After that, they started measuring their grip strength. Where once again he was far outpaced as Koji Koda almost crushed his on accident. This continued into the toe reach and the crunches before their trials were finally over.

By the end, Kamakiri's only solace was knowing that Monoma and Modoriya didn't even use their quirks once during the tests. 'Guess some people like losing for some reason

Kamakiri tried to contain any further anger as he just waited for any kind of results. Mrs. Joke eventually came back around for the students with a soft smile.

"Ok kids, before I share this ranking I want to make sure you all understand that just because you may be lower on it doesn't mean you should feel bad" her smile became warmer and friendlier "every pro starts somewhere and those who are lower on the list just have more room for improvement!"

Without further ado, a large hologram appeared behind her to show the class's names and overall ranking.

'I didn't even get top ten!?'

Kamakiri clenched his teeth in annoyance, he was outdone by some kids he just couldn't imagine having done that well. Aoyama? Mina? Those two don't even have cool quirks!

While Kamakiri was being annoyed with himself, most of the other students were starting to trickle out of the area "everyone have a good rest of the day! We'll be starting classes for real tomorrow!"

All of the students walked away with either a new wave of confidence, insecurity, or a need to get even better. Even Kamakiri, as he walked away, got ready to fully prove himself where it matters most. The battle trials.

Setsuna Tokage

Setsuna smiled at Mineta, seeing as they came from the same school district the much taller girl made sure to follow up on her classmate. Minori walked ahead of her, smiling excitedly. Setsuna wasn't sure if she'd ever seen the other girl acting this excitedly.

"Someone's excited. What has your spirits so high?" Setsuna took off her head to have it float at Minori's side.

Mineta just smiled confidently at Setsuna "What's not to be proud of? I wasn't in the bottom three of that last trial, I'm at UA, and I totally saw the guy's checking me out!"

Setsuna giggles in amusement "Oh, really? Which of the guys was looking your way?"

Mineta smirked "Which of them wasn't looking my way?" Mineta turned to Tokage while raising her fingers to count on them "Tsubaraba was drooling over me, Koda was flustered by my woman-ness, Sero and Kaminari were even drooling over me!"

Setsuna laughed even harder as she pulled her head back to being attached to her neck. "You are too much Mineta I swear!"

Mineta quickly turned around with an annoyed look "What's so funny!? You weren't paying attention to where their eyes were going"

Setsuna slowly shook her head "Minori, c'mon. Everyone yesterday was focusing on the test our teacher suddenly set out." Mineta drooped slightly before Setsuna's smile became friendlier "but when we get to our first hero course test I'm almost sure all of the guys will be staring directly at you"

Mineta perked up "You think so?"

"Oh totally. You're the cutest little button I've ever seen" Tokage's tone immediately went back to a teasing one.

Mineta just smiled proudly "I made sure to write down the hottest outfit any pro has ever seen!" Her confidence was right back as she started strutting her stuff.

Setsuna just continued to giggle "mines pretty basic so you won't get any competition here"

The two girls continued their conversation on the way to school. Getting up to the class to see a new seating chart written up on the board. Mineta immediately perked up seeing the list and started reading over it as fast as possible.

"Tokage!" Mineta yelled while grabbing on her shirt "I can't remember, was Ibara a guy or what?"

Setsuna smirked a bit "Minori, Ibara is the girl with the vines for hair"

Mineta almost immediately drooped a bit as she looked towards the girl who would be sitting in front of her. Ibara had green vines for hair that barely reached her neck. She had very pale skin and mascara around her eyes. She looked like she was honestly going through a punk phase. She was only wearing UA's white undershirt, totally ignoring the jacket. Minori was sitting in seat number 20.

"Have fun Mineta" Setsuna teased before going towards her own seat. Setsuna's seat is just number 3. As more students came in more and more of the seats were taken.

In the first row Kinoko, Mina, Setsuna, Sero, and Yui. Row two featured Aoyama, Kirishima, Izumi, Tokoyami, and Kaminari. Row three then had Koda, Honenuki, Monoma, Rumi, and Kuroiro. The last row then was left with Pony, Kamakiri, Tsubaraba, and Mineta/Ibara.

Setsuna looked at the people around her. Mina looked like she would be really fun from the little interaction they had yesterday. And Sero definitely looked like a fun guy to talk to. Even across from her row, Izumi and Kirishima looked like they'd be fun to distract in some way.

However, before she could start making new friends, the door slammed open. Setsuna turned, expecting Mrs. Joke to be walking in only to find a completely different pro walk in.

The pro looked like a cowboy, however covering his face was a long mask. Under his cowboy hat, he had dreadlocks coming down "ok students. I don't mind breaking your attention already, but your first hero course will be today while you're still fresh and new"

Almost all of the students were caught off guard by this announcement, but that didn't stop them from cheering excitedly.

"I will be your hero course teacher, Snipe" the pro announced while showing off his two pistols. He twirled them around on his fingers before slamming his hands on the podium. Suddenly, from the walls numbered suitcases came from it.

"These are your hero suits. I'll be seeing you all out there. So don't take too long" Snipe threatened before disappearing with a smoke bomb.

All of the students quickly got up to rush to their new costumes, some pushing others out of the way to get to them.

Setsuna was smart enough to just shoot her hands to the case with her number on it. She then brought her hands back and started walking out with an excited smile. She was very confident that this was going to be her first big success of the year where she showed everyone exactly what she was made of.

AN: and with this chapter the whole of the class was introduced in at least some way, shape, or form. And as many of you have likely noticed, some quirks and personalities have changed with the randomization, mostly just for another layer of fun difference from canon. And after this chapter, we're getting close to finishing the intros and finally getting into the meat of the story.
