Sorry I haven't posted in a while, a lot of things are going on plus I couldn't think of an idea. Hopefully I'll be able to make more in the future, but for now two series are enough. This story was also inspired by the story Alpha, by Fire wolf 2132. I don't really have anything else to say, so I hope you enjoy it!
It had been a rough day. Izuku Midoriya had once again gotten bullied by Katsuki Bakugo. He was walking to his home when he saw what looked like a meteor fall out of the sky and into a field near him. What the? Izuku thought. He walked towards it.
What the boy didn't realize was that the thing that fell out of the sky came from another dimension. In that dimension, moments before, a small frog-like being and two teenagers looked at a small, clear containment object. Inside of it were two mechanical beings that had merged together.
"Are you sure that will hold them?" the boy known as Rex Salizar asked the frog-like being.
"Yes, I'm quite sure." the first thinker Azmuth replied.
"Uh, guys shouldn't we be more concerned about sending them into the portal right now?" Ben Tennyson asked the two.
"Oh yeah, we should probably do that." Rex said.
Azmuth the first thinker loaded the pod into a special cannon and aimed it for the hole in space time that had been created. He fired it into the portal ending up near an alternate earth where most humans had incredible abilities known as quirks.
Back to the present, Izuku found the strange pod with the technological beings within. "What Is this?" Izuku asked himself.
He tried to open it, but gave up and banged it on a nearby tree which created a small crack on the bottle. Izuku noticed it and banged it on a tree a few more times until there was a small hole that was big enough for him to fit his finger in it. He gave up, and put the container down. However, the two mechanical beings oozed out of the container and moved towards the young boy.
The two beings began talking to each other. "We don't have any other options. We won't be able to do anything while we're inside him, but everyday we'll take a little bit of energy and add it to the small amount of energy from the Omega nanite."
"If it is our only option, then so be it." the second machine said.
Izuku then noticed a slight burning feeling that spread from his right foot to his chest as the Alpha nanite and unstable galvanic-mechamorph known as Malware took refuge within his heart.
Izuku arrived home and did his homework, ate and went to sleep.
That night, he had a strange dream. Two machines were talking to each other. One was a black oozing creature with large red lines that were similar to circuitry covering it. The other was a creature that looked like it was made out of red fire in a human shape.
They seemed to agree on something before they began to merge into a much bigger creature. Izuku then woke up, but he just assumed that it was a bad dream.
He left to go to school where they would be talking about future careers.
"Normally, I would pass out job application tests, but," the teacher said as he threw all of the papers into the air, "why even bother? I know you all want to be in the hero course!" he said, causing the entire class except for two people to start yelling and showing off their quirks in excitement.
"Yes, yes. You all have very impressive quirks, but no quirk usage in school." the teacher said. Just then a blond haired kid with red eyes stood up on his desk and started to talk
"Don't confuse me and these extras. They'd be lucky to be hired as a sidekick for some hero no one knows about."
This, of course, annoyed the whole class. "You think you're better than us bakugo?!" they all yelled.
"I Know I am," the arrogant teen said with a smirk as the class continued to yell at him, "oh, shut up. I'll take on all of you."
As the rest of the class argued with Katsuki bakugo, Izuku tried not to draw attention to himself.
"Your test scores are pretty high, Katsuki. And, with a quirk like that, I have no doubt that you'll be able to enter UA." the teacher said, shocking the class into silence.
"He's trying to get into UA!? But their acceptance rate is so low!" one student said
"Oh, Midoriya, you also wanted to go to UA, didn't you?" the teacher said as Izuku felt over 20 sets of eyes looking at him.
The class's reaction to Izuku trying to go to the most prodigious hero school in Japan, however, was very different from Bakugo's. The entire class bursted out laughing.
"You think they'll let some quirkless kid join UA?" "The quirkless kid is trying to go to the best hero school in Japan? Ha! What an Idiot!" were some of the things that other students said.
That was a long class, Izuku thought as he got packed up to go home.
Izuku then heard a voice from behind him. "Hey deku."
Deku was the name that Bakugo gave him when he found out he was quirkless.
"Y-yes Katchan?" Izuku said, still calling him by the nickname he gave him when he was younger.
"I just wanted to say that you may think I'm being mean by telling you not to go to UA, but I'm actually just looking out for you. The test they'll put you through is designed for quirk users. Without one, you'll probably get hurt, or worse, killed. Keep that mind okay buddy?" Katsuki said.
"Y-yeah. Thanks." the green haired teen said as the other left.
Yeah totally. Just watching out for me, Izuku thought. I guess he has a point though. There are no quirkless heroes. He began walking home. He made it underneath a bridge.
Just then, a large gooey mass erupted out from the sewer drain.
"Hey kid, I need to hide from someone. I might need to hide inside you for a while." the ooze said.
Izuku opened his mouth to scream but the villain entered his mouth before he could. As the world faded around him, Izuku heard a soft mechanical whir. Suddenly, red lines that looked like circuitry surrounded Izuku's body and jagged metal spikes erupted from him, making the sludge villain recoil and back away.
"What the heck?! If I knew that kid could do that I would've left him alone." the villain said.
They then heard a voice from behind them.
"Fear not citizen! For I am here!" the number one hero said before using one of his main moves.
"Texas Smash!" All Might said
The last thing Izuku saw was his idol creating a large gust of wind with his punch.
Izuku woke up and got an autograph from All Might, and got ready to ask him if he could become a hero even without a cave . But before he could ask him, All might got ready to jump away, but Izuku grabbed onto his leg. When All might noticed him he landed on a building and Izuku asked him his question, but when he looked up he noticed that in all might's place, there was a skinny man that had some resemblance to all might.
"What the?! Where did All might go? You're not all might. You're an imposter!" Izuku said in confusion and slight fear.
"I can assure you, I am all might." he said before explaining what had happened to him.
"As for your question, no. I don't think someone with no quirk can become a hero. If you want to help people, you'd be best to try to become a police officer."
"O-okay." Izuku said, trying not to cry.
As All might went away to turn in the villain to the police station he noticed that the bottles he put the villain in were missing. Meanwhile, the sludge villain had escaped and started to attack Bakugo.
Izuku noticed some smoke once he got off the building and went to investigate it. Once he saw what was happening he was engulfed in guilt.
That's the same villain that attacked me, but all might caught him. Izuku thought. But I held onto all might's leg, so he was too distracted by me to notice. So that means it's all my fault.
All might watched nearby, unable to do anything because of his time limit.
As it got more and more unbearable to watch Bakugo get terrorized Izuku moved without thinking, and activated the abilities the two robots inside his body brought. His hand transformed into a giant sword containing energy from when Malware abzorbed the proto tool. Without needing to think about what to do Izuku brought the blade of energy down upon the sludge villain, slicing it into two pieces, but they quickly reformed into one as the blade broke apart into metal pieces, due to Izuku not understanding what he was doing.
It looked like the sludge villain had won, but what all might saw inspired him and he used all the strength he had to punch so hard it changed the weather and saved Bakugo. Bakugo was praised for having such a strong quirk, but Izuku was told off for using his quirk. As Izuku walked home Bakugo couldn't help but stare at him. He used a quirk. But he was quirkless. Something was going on, and he intended to find out what.
All might later confronted the boy and offered to train Izuku and have him be the successor of one for all. All might left the conversation a little bit confused. When he had said that you couldn't be a hero without a quirk, the boy had a quite emotional response. All might viewed training him as a way to possibly try to understand what had happened.
"What the heck was that?!" Malware demanded to know. He felt the human use a portion of their power.
"An interesting question," Alpha began, "it appears when we entered his body, we bonded with his DNA. This complicates things. Escape will be nearly impossible. Our only hopes are not likely."
Malware was angry. He wanted to use his powers to destroy everyone who had ever wronged him, not for a child to use them for their own unknown goals. He would find a way out of this he had to.
Izuku was still trying to process everything that had happened. When he arrived home his mother Inko Midoriya told him she saw everything on the news and would be redoing his quirk application test the next day.
As he layed in his bed, Izuku wondered what the future had in store. Would he become a pro hero? Maybe. For now, all he could do was wait for his future to reveal itself.
