SmackDown: 30/11/2000

SmackDown was live at Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. SmackDown opened with the news that Commissioner Mick Foley had promised title shots to five men at Armageddon - Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Triple H, Rikishi and the Undertaker. As the commish sat backstage playing Connect Four, World Wrestling Federation Champion Kurt Angle approached him and demanded to know what was going on. Foley said that Angle would find out soon enough.

The opening match on SmackDown was a six-person tag match pitting the Hardy Boyz and Lita against Dean Malenko, Eddie Guerrero and Perry Saturn of the Radicalz. Throughout the match, Malenko made advances towards Lita, who had rejected his come-ons on RAW. Eventually, Lita hit a moonsault on Malenko, but Terri distracted the referee, allowing Guerrero to nail a frogsplash on the former Women's Champion. Eddie then rolled the unconscious Malenko on top of Lita for the win. After Malenko came to, he looked more concerned with Lita's well-being than with his team's victory.

Commissioner Mick Foley then hit the ring and the first thing he did was announce the Bladewolf vs Kane tonight in a non-title matchup.

Next, Foley began to address the controversy surrounding the World Wrestling Federation Championship. The commish said that Kurt Angle was a conniving, double-talking sniveling liar - but that Angle was right about the excessive violence in the Federation as of late. Foley said that after Monday's No. 1 contenders match between Rock and Rikishi ended in a disqualification, he was thinking of making another No. 1 contenders match, but he figured that one would just end in a screwjob also. Therefore, the commissioner said "screw it!" and called out all FIVE No. 1 contenders!

The first contender is The Rock, who got a monstrous ovation as he headed to the ring! The People's Champion said it didn't matter that there were five No. 1 contenders, because he would walk out of Armageddon as Federation Champion.

The second contender is the Undertaker, who was screwed out of the title at Survivor Series thanks to a pre-meditated plan by Kurt Angle and his brother, Eric. The American Bad Ass told Foley that he would do anything to get his shot at Angle.

The third contender is none other than Stone Cold Steve Austin, who seemingly had the title won on RAW, before Triple H interfered in the bout. The fourth contender is Rikishi, who met Rock in the controversial No. 1 contenders match on RAW. And the fifth contender was Triple H, who returned on Monday's RAW after his horrible accident at Survivor Series.

Commissioner Mick Foley said that since the five men's lives were so intertwined, he needed a way to settle the whole situation once and for all. Foley told the men that they weren't to have any physical contact on SmackDown unless it was in the ring in a match he made, or else they would lose their title shot - and if Angle were to interfere, then he would be stripped of his title.

The commissioner then said that the issues between the six men would end at Armageddon - when they met for the Federation Championship inside Hell in a Cell, which he called the most awesome match ever conceived in the Federation.

Federation Champion Kurt Angle then headed out to the stage, telling Foley that he had lost his mind. He said he defended his title with honor, and he wasn't a cheater. He called the match barbaric. Triple H looked at Angle and said, "Sucks to be you, doesn't it?" Triple H then told Foley it was ironic that he made a Hell in a Cell match, after the Game retired the commish in a Hell in a Cell match in February.

Triple H then brought out his wife, Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley. The Game said that it was a special day - his and Stephanie's one-year wedding anniversary. Triple H even invited all the superstars to their wedding celebration!

The McMahon/Helmsley locker room was fesitvely decorated with roses in celebration of the couple's one-year anniversary. As Triple H and Stephanie celebrated, the Game told Harvey Wippleman that he was expecting a special surprise, and he asked him to keep on the lookout.

After defeating Val Venis and Steven Richards on RAW, Road Dogg and K-Kwik got a shot at the Tag Team Championship on SmackDown against Right to Censor members Bull Buchanan and the Goodfather. During the match, Mr. Richards tried to interfere, but referee Teddy Long sent him back to the dressing room. K-Kwik seemed to have the match won after a 450-splash onto Mr. Buchanan, but Ivory nailed K-Kwik with the Women's Championship, and the Right to Censor retained their titles.

Over a candlelit dinner, Triple H gave Stephanie an anniversary gift. Harvey came in bringing champagne, which seemed to startle the Game. Triple H told Harvey to go back outside and wait for the surprise to arrive.

European Champion William Regal came out to say that the competition for his title seemed to be wearing thin. He issued an open challenge to the "chaps" in the back, and none other than Scotty 2 Hotty took him up on his challenge! Despite hitting the Worm on Regal, the goodwill ambassador kicked out of a pinfall attempt, and hit a neckbreaker for the win.

Stephanie was beaming after receiving a platinum bracelet from Triple H, when Harvey came in and said there was an irate man outside who wanted to talk to him. Fearing the worst, the Game grabbed a champagne glass and readied to smash it over an enemy's head. But the guest turned out to be Chris Benoit, who offered to beat up Stone Cold as an anniversary gift. The Game said thanks anyway, but the Wolverine should just worry about his tag match against Y2J and Billy Gunn.

Next up was the Bladewolf vs Kane in a regular match.

In the arena, the pyro exploded and out came Kane to boos from the WWF fans as the Big Red Monster makes his way down to the ring to take on his little brother after what happened on RAW when Bladewolf came to Undertaker's aid against Kurt Angle, Kane, Edge and Christian.

Kane climbs over the top rope and lifts his arms up before throwing them down which causes fire to explode from the turnbuckles as the lights go to normal and Bladewolf's theme dies down.

OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!

Dead Silent plays to a pop from the fans as smoke fills the stage, the lights dimming to a familiar sinister blood red and dark blue. Trish is standing on the stage in a dark robe, dressed in a black top that gave a great view of her cleavage, wore a black leather skirt that stopped mid-thigh, giving a great view of her long legs and wore a black cowgirl hat, before the Bladewolf walks out, the Intercontinental Championship around his waist, and stands in front of her, facing the ring with a dark glare on his face.

Trish takes the robe off, then walks around him, running a hand seductively across his shoulders as she walks forward to the ring while singing.

"He is time... famine, war... pestilence you cannot endure..." Trish gets in the ring and seductively rubs her body against the ropes as she continues while getting more frantic by the second. "the end is here... the end is here! Fall and Pray! Fall and Pray! Fall and PRAY!"

The lights flash blood red repeatedly as Trish falls to her knees and moves out the way as Bladewolf appears in the ring, unleashing a primal yell as he stands under the flashing red lights while the songs repeats the 'fall and pray' part.

Bladewolf beats his chest in sync with the drum part of the theme and the song slowly ends as Trish slides between Bladewolf's legs and poses on her knees in front of him while her back is pressed against his knees.

The lights go to normal and Trish gets to her feet as Bladewolf takes off his coat followed by his short-sleeved shirt to reveal his ring gear underneath. Bladewolf takes off the Intercontinental Championship, handing it to Trish who gets out at ringside, holding the title close.

The referee then calls for the bell.

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

Kane and Bladewolf walk forward and lock up, having a test of strength with each other but both brothers are equally matched so they broke the lock up and circle one another before they attempt it again but this time Bladewolf manages to twist Kane's arm only for Kane to reverse it and shove Bladewolf back.

They circle each other again before Bladewolf clenches his fists and lands a hard right, but Kane retaliates with a right hand of his own. The two brothers go back and fourth with each other before Bladewolf tackles Kane into the corner and drives his shoulder repeatedly into Kane's stomach but Kane brings a forearm down on his brother's back, bringing him to a knee. Kane then lands an uppercut, sending Bladewolf down but the Demon Wolf gets to his feet and turns around into a clothesline from Kane, but Bladewolf sits up immediately and gets to his feet.

The two brothers stare at each other before they go at it once again. Kane gains the upper hand as he lands a boot to his brother's stomach, then lands a right hand to the jaw of Bladewolf, then lands another right hand which causes Bladewolf to lean on the ropes but Kane goes for an irish whip, only for Bladewolf to reverse it an attempt a clothesline, but Kane ducks gives Bladewolf a big boot to his face.

Bladewolf falls back against the ropes and Kane lands an uppercut before he goes for an Irish whip only for Bladewolf to reverse it and hit a Side Russian leg Sweep. Bladewolf runs, rebounds off the ropes and hits a running elbow drop to Kane's chest before he hooks the leg but Kane kicks out at one.

Both brothers get to their feet and Bladewolf goes to grab Kane but Kane gives him an uppercut but Bladewolf retaliates with a right hand and Kane hit some of his own. The two brothers go back and fourth with an exchange of right punches between them before Bladewolf starts to overpower Kane but the Big Red Machine ducks a right and knocks Bladewolf against the ropes before he attempts a big boot but Bladewolf caught the boot and Kane... HITS AN ENZUGURI! Bladewolf goes over the top rope and falls to the floor.

Kane goes to the top turnbuckle and waits for his brother to get to his feet. Bladewolf does so and turns around... INTO A FLYING CLOTHESLINE FROM KANE!

Kane gets to his feet and grabs his brother before giving him an uppercut then brings him over to the barricade where he goes to ram Bladewolf's head off but Bladewolf blocks it and elbows Kane in the stomach before he rams Kane's head off the barricade. Bladewolf then lifts Kane onto his shoulder and brings him down face-first off the barricade.

Bladewolf tosses Kane back into the ring and raises his right arm, signalling a Chokeslam is looming... WHEN EDGE AND CHRISTIAN ATTACK HIM FROM BEHIND!

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

The referee calls for the bell as Edge and Christian beat down bladewolf, and soon enough Kane joins in as the trio beat down the Intercontinental Champion. The crowd cheers loudly... WHEN BULLETPROOF COMES RUNNING DOWN TO THE RING!

The former WWF Tag Team Champions attack Edge and Christian, giving Bladewolf the time to recover and fight off Kane. Bulletproof and Bladewolf send Edge, Christian and Kane over the top rope and out the ring, holding the ring as the Heels back off.

Suddenly Mick Foley's theme hits to a pop and out comes the WWF Commissioner. "Now hold on there, gentlemen." Foley said. "I like this view I'm seeing in the ring right now. And it would be a shame to rob the fans of a pretty good match we were having between Kane and the Bladewolf. So, no one go anywhere, because I'm making a six-ma tag team match! it will be Bulletproof and Bladewolf vs Kane, Edge and Christian!"

The crowd cheered loudly as RAW goes to commercial break.

*After the commercial break*

RAW comes back in time for the bell to ring as Jackal starts off with Edge while their partners on the apron.

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

Jackal and Edge circle before they lock up but Jackal was quick to get behind Edge and take down down easily, locking in a headlock and he yanks Edge a few times before he drives his elbow into the chest of Edge then locks in the hold again until Edge's foot touches the ropes and jackal is forced to break the hold and back off to give Edge some time. Jackal walks over and stomps on Edge's chest a few times before dragging him over to his corner, tagging in Bloodwolf who comes in and delivers a stomp to Edge's chest, then focuses on Edge's right arm as he yanks on it several times.

Bloodwolf then floors Edge with a clothesline, then brings an elbow down onto Edge's chest and hooks the leg but Edge kicks out at two. Bloodwolf pulls Edge to his feet and Irish whips him into the corner, running for a turnbuckle clothesline but Edge lifts his feet to double boot Bloodwolf in the face, sending the former WWF Tag Team Champion to a knee. Edge grabs Bloodwolf... AND NAILS A DDT! Edge hooks the leg but Bloodwolf kicks out at two. Edge drags Bloodwolf over to his corner and tags in Christian, and the two stomp on Bloodwolf before Edge gets out onto the apron as Christian continues to stomp on Bloodwolf.

Christian then grabs Bloodwolf and starts to drive his elbows into the chest of Bloodwolf before shoving him to the mat and he strikes a pose to the boos of the fans. Christian then rebounds off the ropes and comes back with a low dropkick to the side of Bloodwolf's head. Jackal paces on the ring apron and shouts for his partner to get back into this while Bladewolf is silent. watching closely.

Christian smirks and mock the two, making crying faces at them mockingly before he turns around into a elbow from Bloodwolf, who lands a few right hands to Christian's forehead, then the two run and clothesline each other. Both men start crawling to their corners and Christian tags in Kane just as Bloodwolf leaps... AND TAGS IN BLADEWOLF!

Bladewolf and Kane come in and go into a fist-for-fist fight, exchanging blows with each other until Bladewolf knocks Kane down with a clothesline, then knocks Edge off the ring apron. Bladewolf grabs Kane and Irish whips him into the corner, runs and hits the turnbuckle clothesline, scoops Kane up... AND HITS SNAKE EYES! Bladewolf lifts Kane onto his shoulder, runs... AND HITS THE RUNNING POWERSLAM TO HIS BROTHER!

Bladewolf gets to his feet and raises his right hand as he eyes Kane who gets to his feet and turns around... INTO A GOOZLE! Bladewolf lifts Kane up... AND PLANTS HIM WITH A CHOKESLAM! Bladewolf goes to do the cutthroat taunt when Edge and Christian attack from behind. This causes Jackal and Bloodwolf to come in and attack the dup, and all hell is breaking loose as the six-me are fighting each other.

Jackal and Bloodwolf manage to get Edge and Christian out the ring as Bladewolf and Kane continue their fighting in the ring. Bladewolf ducks a right from Kane, grabs him from behind... AND HITS THE DOOMSDAY SAITO SUPLEX!

Bladewolf gets to his feet, grabs Kane and hoists him onto his right shoulder, holds Kane upside down in front of him... AND HITS THE TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER! BLADEWOLF HOOKS THE LEGS! ONE! TWO! THREE! BLADEWOLF AND BULLETPROOF WIN!

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

And that's it for this. Bladewolf takes on his brother, Kane, leading to a six-man tag team match with Bladewolf teaming with Bulletproof for the first time. Bladewolf will end up joining them... just not anytime soon.
