SmackDown: 14/12/2000

SmackDown was live at Alltel Arena in Little Rock, Arkansas. As SmackDown went on the air, Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley went into Commissioner Mick Foley's office. Stephanie said she didn't want to talk about her husband, she wanted to talk about her mother - the woman who put Mick in power. She said her mother had been distraught ever since Vince asked her for a divorce last Thursday. Mick said he couldn't help but feel slightly responsible - and Stephanie said he was definitely a little bit responsible, since he kept egging Vince on. Stephanie told Mick that Vince took that frustration out on Linda. She then asked the commissioner to take it easy on her father for a week or two, and Mick promised he would lighten up, out of respect for Linda.

In the opening match on SmackDown, Edge & Christian faced off with the Dudley Boyz in a non-title match. The Dudleyz looked to have the match won after a 3-D on Christian, but with the referee distracted, Edge came in the ring and KOed Buh Buh Ray with one of the tag title belts. Three seconds later, Edge & Christian picked up the win.

As Mr. McMahon got out of his limo outside the arena, he was approached by Commissioner Foley. Keeping Stephanie's earlier request in mind, Mick told Vince that he thought they should learn to co-exist, since he refused to resign as commissioner and he was in for the long haul.

Vince was taken aback by the request, and he questioned why a man who took a smelly sock out of his crotch and shoved it down his throat on RAW would now want to co-exist with him. Vince said he would take it under consideration.

World Wrestling Federation Champion Kurt Angle then headed to the ring. The American hero said that after winning the Hell in the Cell match and after surviving a Tag Team Table match on Monday and after walking out on SmackDown with his head held high, that maybe he would have earned some respect from the fans. Kurt said that being a man of integrity, it sickened him to see Mick Foley not keeping his promise about resigning if someone was injured in Hell in the Cell. He said that Vince McMahon was right for wanting to see Mick Foley resign. He then asked how many more superstars would go down before Mick finally realized how dangerous he was. He said that he had three I's, but Mick had three H's - that he was a hungry, horrible hypocrite!

The commissioner didn't take too kindly to that. Foley came to the ring, saying that in the past he had always found Angle amusing, but now he just wanted him to shut his mouth. Foley said that there was a time when Angle was respected - but then people got to know him, and they couldn't respect a sniveling, whining, backstabbing crybaby!

Foley then said that Triple H's injuries weren't caused by Hell in the Cell, but by the accumulation of injuries over a period of months.

And Foley said that Rikishi wouldn't have been injured if Vince had brought the truck to ringside. So he said that resigning would just be rewarding Vince for bad behavior. Foley proclaimed that as bad as Angle might think things were with him in charge, it would be a whole lot worse with Vince in charge.

Suddenly, William Regal's music started playing and the European Champion came to the ring. Regal told Angle that he respected him, a lot more than Arkansas native Bill Clinton and a lot more than "Michael Foley," as he called him. Regal said that Foley didn't love the business, he only loved certain people in the business. Regal asked Foley where he was when he was reading Shakespeare and Austin stunned him a few months back. He asked where Foley was when he was giving his Thanksgiving address and The Rock interrupted. He also asked where Foley was when Austin stunned him on Monday's RAW. He said that Foley treats fine gentlemen like himself and Kurt Angle like dogs, but Foley lets the hooligans who besmirched him run the WWF.

Foley said he did love the WWF, and he had an idea to make everyone happy. He then made a tag team match for SmackDown pitting Angle and Regal against the "besmirchers" - Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock! Foley then told Regal to have a jolly good day!

In his locker room, Mr. McMahon was on the phone with a member of his legal team.
Vince instructed the attorney to deliver legal papers to his wife every hour on the hour, seven days a week! He then checked with his attorney to make sure that Linda couldn't touch his off-shore accounts! Mr. McMahon hung up the phone when Stephanie entered his locker room. Although Stephanie said there was information about Linda that she told Vince he didn't know, Vince said he wouldn't discuss the divorce with her - not tonight, not any night.

Although she was still injured from Monday's RAW, Lita got a title shot against Women's Champion Ivory on SmackDown! During the match, Dean Malenko came to ringside. Lita soon went outside the ring and attacked him. When Dean threw her back in the ring, she was still fixated on him and didn't notice Ivory sneaking up behind her, suplexing her and scoring the pinfall.

Mick Foley and Debra were playing hockey in the commissioner's office when Raven walked in. Mick told Raven that since he took out Mick's best friend witha cinder block on RAW, he was putting him in a hardcore match against the Undertaker on SmackDown!

Stephanie then went back to Vince's locker room and said that he needed to know something - that Linda was really sick. Stephanie said that Linda had lost a great deal of weight in the past week - and Vince said that she could stand to lose a few pounds.

Stephanie said that Linda was so weak that she could barely talk to her - which Vince also said was a good thing, since all she did was talk all the years they were together! Stephanie then said that all Linda could do was lie in bed motionless - and Vince said that rings a bell too! Stephanie told her dad that sometimes he was really disgusting.

Next up, Val Venis of the Right to Censor took on "The One" Billy Gunn. Ivory tried to give Val the Women's Championship to hit Billy with, but Billy grabbed it from Ivory and used it to knock out Val! That got "The One" disqualified.

Backstage, Stephanie again went to her father's locker room and demanded he discuss the divorce with her. She said that the future of the business, the future of their family, and even Linda's health were at stake. She asked him to please go home and discuss the matter with Linda. Vince said he would never go home, and then slammed the door in his daughter's face! Stephanie then thought for a moment, and said that if Vince wouldn't discuss the matter in private, then maybe he would so do in public!

Stephanie then walked down to the ring, and in the middle of the ring, she again demanded her father's attention. She said she wasn't leaving until her father came out, because she wanted to save his and Linda's marriage. Gerald Brisco went to Vince's locker room and told him what was going on, and the chairman then met his daughter in the ring.

Stephanie apologized for calling him out, and then asked Vince why he would ask for a divorce just because Linda made a business decision by siding with Commissioner Foley. Stephanie told Vince that he had a fairytale marriage, and asked him to reconsider, because Linda loved him.

Mr. McMahon then gave his daughter a history lesson about his mother. He said that Linda used to live on the other side of the tracks - the poor section of town. He said that Linda's family never lived up to his. He said he was attracted to Linda because she had a certain "reputation." He said they had a "really good time" on the very first date in the backseat of Linda's 1969 Chevy Impala! Vince then said that Linda didn't love him - she loved his money!

Vince then said that he was starting to look at Stephanie in a different light. He said she had her mother's eyes, her mother's hair, her mother's pottymouth and her mother's sour scent. As Stephanie cried in front of him, Vince said that she used to be daddy's little girl, but now she was just like her mother - a couple of spoiled, ungrateful, rich bitches!

Vince then told Stephanie the same thing he told Linda - to get out of his life and stay out! As Stephanie ran back to the locker room, Vince told Stephanie to give Linda a message - that there would soon be a new Mrs. McMahon, a voluptuous woman who could keep up with his sexual prowess! He also promised that the new Mrs. McMahon would be about Stephanie's age!

Stephanie then ran back to the locker room, and Vince demanded that Patterson and Brisco open the ring ropes for him - but the stooges just walked away!

During the commercial break, Patterson and Brisco were escorting Stephanie from the arena when Vince stopped them and asked where they thought they were going. The stooges just looked at him in disguest and left the arena.

Next up, Raven faced the Undertaker in a hardcore match. As expected, the Undertaker absolutely destroyed Raven - much to the delight of Mick Foley, who watched on as the man who hospitalized his best friend was bloodied and given the Last Ride through the announce table for the win!

Next up was Kane vs the Bladewolf in a No Holds Barred match.

In the arena, the pyro exploded and out came Kane to boos from the WWF fans as the Big Red Monster makes his way down to the ring to take on his little brother after what happened on RAW when Bladewolf came to Undertaker's aid against Kurt Angle, Kane, Edge and Christian.

Kane climbs over the top rope and lifts his arms up before throwing them down which causes fire to explode from the turnbuckles as the lights go to normal and Bladewolf's theme dies down.

OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!

Dead Silent plays to a pop from the fans as smoke fills the stage, the lights dimming to a familiar sinister blood red and dark blue. The Bladewolf walks out on his own, a dark glare on his face-painted face as usual and the WWF Intercontinental Championship around his waist.

Bladewolf makes his way down to the ring and slides in, keeping his eyes on Kane as he stands up and his theme soon dies down as he takes off the title, handing it to someone at ringside.

The referee calls for the bell.

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

Kane and Bladewolf walk forward and lock up, having a test of strength with each other but both brothers are equally matched so they broke the lock up and circle one another before they attempt it again but this time Bladewolf manages to twist Kane's arm only for Kane to reverse it and shove Bladewolf back.

Kane keeps up a relentless assault on his younger brother until Bladewolf was in the corner and forced to cover up to block his brother's attacks. Kane stopped momentarily to glare at the referee then turned back to continue when Bladewolf suddenly grabbed him by the neck with both hands and reversed their positions as he unloads with lefts and rights then starts to furiously hammer away with an onslaught on right punches to the face, forcing Kane to sit down on the bottom turnbuckle.

Bladewolf stomps away on his brother before yanking him by the hair then practically yanks him down into the mat. Bladewolf was showing no mercy as he stomps on his brother's right hand, then drops his elbow down across Kane's chest. Bladewolf was not stopping his attack as he hammers away on his brother, punching him in the masked face relentlessly This continued until the Big Red Monster rolls them over and returns the favor. Bladewolf grabs his brother's neck and gets to his feet. He pushes Kane out of the ring and steps out to follow, taking their fight to ringside.

Bladewolf grabs Kane by his hair and rams him head-first into the ring apron, then drives his knee into Kane's stomach before bringing a forearm down across the back of the Big Red Machine. Bladewolf looks at the steel steps and goes for an irish whip but Kane reverses it and sends Bladewolf crashing knees-first into the steel steps hard enough to make him flip over them.

Bladewolf gets to his feet as Kane walks around to him but Bladewolf lands a punch to the face, then elbows his brother which makes him lean on the barricade before Bladewolf runs and clotheslines them both over the barricade and now they are fighting in the crowd. Both men make it to their feet and just start slugging it out as security kept the fans back from the action. Bladewolf knees Kane in the chest then pushes him into a metal guard railing.

Bladewolf picks up a steel chair and Kane turns around... INTO A STEEL CHAIR RIGHT OFF THE SKULL! Bladewolf tosses the chair aside and stomps on his brother several times, forcing him to start trying to climb the steps between rows of fans but Bladewolf if following him. The two brothers start fighting until they reach a concessions stand where fans get their food and drink.

Bladewolf knees Kane and goes to throw him into a vending machine but Kane reverses it and sends Bladewolf into the vending machine, nearly breaking the machine. Kane leans Bladewolf against the vending machine and hammers away on him before grabbing him and tosses him into the hotdog stand, sending hotdogs, sauce and other bits of food everywhere.

"How does that feel, little brother?!" Kane taunted.

Kane grabbed Bladewolf and rams his face off the wall, sending Bladewolf to a knee and allowing Kane to wrap an arm around his neck... AND HIT A DDT ON THE CONCRETE FLOOR! Kane gets to his feet and stomps on his brother several times before he starts looking for a weapon to use while behind him, Bladewolf starts making it to his feet despite the DDT on the floor. Kane sees this and runs at his brother but Bladewolf floors him with a clothesline.

Bladewolf walked over to the merchandise stand and took a WWF title replica belt, looked it over before he sees his brother getting to his feet and waits. Kane makes it to his feet, shaking off the clothesline before he turns around... ONLY TO BE BASHED IN THE FACE BY THE REPLICA BELT BY BLADEWOLF! Bladewolf tosses the replica aside as he watches Kane groan on the floor.

Bladewolf grabs Kane and lifts him onto his shoulders before he carries him back out into the arena and the crowd cheers as Bladewolf walks down the steps towards the ringside area, where he drops Kane over the barricade carelessly. Bladewolf climbs over the barricade, grabs some TV wires before he wraps them around Kane's neck... AND STARTS CHOKING KANE WITH THE TV CABLES!

Bladewolf keeps this up as Kane is turning blue before Bladewolf releases him, then stomps on him several times. Bladewolf grabs the steel steps and lifts them off the bottom ones, then raises them high into the air... AND DROPS THEM ON KANE! The Big Red Monster yells in pain as Bladewolf stares down with no remorse or mercy in his eyes.

Bladewolf kicks the steps aside and picks his brother up, yanks him by the hair so he can look into his eyes then looks at the steel ring post before Kane elbows Bladewolf in the stomach... THEN RAMS BLADEWOLF'S HEAD OFF THE STEEL RING POST!

Kane leans against the ring apron as he takes the chance to recover after the punishment he's been through. Kane looks to see his brother recovering and walks over, grabs him by the hair and drives his face into the announce table, causing Bladewolf to lean on it. Kane clears the announce table of its contents and wraps his hand around his brother's throat, lifts Bladewolf up... AND CHOKESLAMS HIM THROUGH THE TABLE!

'Holy Shit! Holy Shit! Holy Shit!' The fans chanted, enjoying the match so far.

Kane looks around before he grabs the steel steps as Bladewolf struggles to make it to his feet but does so, leaning on the barricade before he stands up straight, turns around... ONLY TO HAVE THE STEEL STEPS SMASKED INTO HIS FACE! BUT BLADEWOLF STAYS ON HIS FEET THOUGH HE STAGGERS! Kane narrows his eyes... AND SLAMS THE STEPS INTO BLADEWOLF'S SKULL AGAIN! This time, Bladewolf went down hard.

Kane drops the steps and looks down at his brother... WHEN BLADEWOLF BROUGHT HIS LEG INTO KANE'S GROIN! Kane yelled in pain at being kicked down there and falls down. Bladewolf pulls himself to his feet, leaning on the ring apron and shakes his head to clear the cobwebs and... BLOOD COMES DOWN HIS FACE! BLADEWOLF HAS BEEN BUSTED OPEN FROM THE STEEL STEPS TO THE FACE!

Bladewolf looks underneath the ring and pulls out a steel chair, waits for Kane to get to his feet... AND BASHES THE CHAIR RIGHT OFF KANE'S SKULL! The cameraman gets close enough to see... THE TOP OF KANE'S HEAD IS BUSTED OPEN! Bladewolf drops the chair onto Kane's masked face, then looks underneath the ring... AND PULLS OUT THE BLACK BASEBALL BAT!

Bladewolf looks it over then he swings... AND SMACKS THE BAT RIGHT OFF THE CHAIR! Kane writhes and shoves the chair off. Bladewolf assaults Kane with the bat, aiming for any part of the body he can hit before he tosses the bat aside and starts stomping away on the Big Red Monster a few times, then picks him up, lifts him into a bear hug before he runs... AND DRIVES KANE RIGHT THROUGH THE BARRICADE CORNER!

Bladewolf leans on Kane for several seconds before rolling off him and breaths heavily a few times before he gets to his feet, flipping his hair back as he looks down at Kane, limping a little due to the pain he's been through like having steel steps bashed into his skull. Those can hurt.

Bladewolf drags Kane back to ringside and leans on the ring apron as Kane is struggling to his feet. The Big Red Machine makes it to his feet and turns around... INTO A GOOZLE! Bladewolf lifts Kane up... AND CHOKESLAMS HIM ON THE FLOOR! Bladewolf wasn't done as he grabs his brother and tosses him into the ring then starts looking underneath it, pulling out a table which he tosses into the ring, followed by a steel chair.

Bladewolf rolls into the ring and grabs the table, sets it up and raises his right hand to signal another Chokeslam is looming as Kane makes his to his feet and turns around only to have a hand wrapped around his throat, then he is lifted up... AND PLANTED THROUGH THE TABLE WITH A CHOKESLAM!

Bladewolf picks the chair up and places it over Kane's masked face, then rebounds off the ropes, runs... AND HITS A LEG DROP RIGHT ONTO THE CHAIR! Grabbing his brother, Bladewolf lifts him onto his shoulders... AND HITS THE FURY OF THE WOLF! HE HOOKS THE LEGS! ONE! TWO! THRE-! KANE KICKS OUT!

Bladewolf sits on his knees, then flips his hair back and stands before he grabs the chair and sits it at his feet. Bladewolf then does the cutthroat taunt and grabs Kane, hoists him onto his right shoulder when Kane starts fighting back, elbowing his brother in the face and this allows Kane to grab his brother as he falls back... AND GETS BLADEWOLF INTO TYHE POSITION! Kane stands over the chair... AND HITS A TOMBSTONE ON THE CHAIR! KANE HOOKS THE LEG! ONE! TWO! THRE-! BLADEWOLF KICKED OUT AT TWO!

Kane's eyes widened in shock under his mask as he falls onto his side. Both men were exhausted as they struggled to gain control of the match. Kane sits up, albeit painfully due to the punishment his body has absorbed. Kane grabs the chair and places it down before he grabs Bladewolf, hoists him up for a second Tombstone but Bladewolf puts his weight back and pulls Kane down, lifts him into the upside down position... AND HITS THE TOMBSTONE ON THE CHAIR!

Bladewolf crawls over and hooks the leg! ONE! TWO! THREE! THE BLADEWOLF HAS BEATEN KANE!

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

Dead Silent plays as Bladewolf weaky rolls out the ring and falls onto his knees. Trish comes running down and checks on her boyfriend before taking the Intercontinental Championship from the referee and helps Bladewolf to his feet and up the ramp to the back...

And that's it for this chapter everyone.
