The Bladewolf of Destruction 3 Chapter 34: WWF Royal Rumble 2001, a wrestling fanfic

Royal Rumble: 21/1/2001

Match card

1. Edge and Christian (c) vs The Dudley Boyz vs Bulletproof in a triple Threat tag team match for the WWF Tag Team Championship.

2. Chris Benoit vs Chris Jericho in a Singles match.

3. Ivory (c) w/Steven Richards vs Chyna in a Singles match for the WWF Women's Championship.

4. Kurt Angle (c) vs Triple H w/Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley in a Singles match for the WWF Championship.

5. 30-man Royal Rumble match for a WWF Championship match at WrestleMania X-Seven

WWF Royal Rumble was live at the New Orleans Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana. The pay-per-view event began with Edge and Christian defending their WWF World Tag Team Championship against The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray Dudley and D-Von Dudley) and Bulletproof (Jackal and Bloodwolf). Throughout the match, the three teams performed many offensive maneuvers, though The Dudley Boyz were able to gain the upper hand. However, Bulletproof won the match when they shoved the Dudley Boyz out the ring after they hit a 3-D on Edge and Jackal covered Edge to gain the pinfall and have Bulletproof win their 2nd WWF Tag Team Championship.

Next, Chris Benoit took on Chris Jericho. Both men performed a number of attacks and maneuvers on one another. At one point in the match, Benoit dove through the ropes headfirst at Jericho, but Jericho struck him in the face with a steel chair. Jericho also applied the Walls of Jericho on Benoit. The end of the match came when Jericho hit the Lionsault to score the pinfall.

In the third contest, Ivory defended the WWF Women's Championship against Chyna. Both women attempted to gain an advantage over the other, with Chyna controlling much of the match. The end of the match came when Chyna attempted a handspring back elbow on Ivory, who was in the corner of the ring. Chyna, however, fell to the canvas and (in storyline) injured her neck. Ivory then covered her for a successful pinfall, retaining her championship. Following this, commentator Jerry Lawler went into the ring to check on Chyna, and she was removed from the ringside area on a stretcher.

Next, WWF Champion Kurt Angle was challenged by Triple H, who had been named number-one contender by his (then storyline) father-in-law Vince McMahon. The match began as a mat based, hold for hold contest, During the match, both Triple H and Angle accidentally hit the referee Earl Hebner, causing him to roll out of the ring. Triple H grabbed the title belt and tried to hit Angle with it, only to receive a belly-to-belly suplex. Angle then tried to hit Triple H with the belt, but Triple H ducked and gave him a Pedigree. As Triple H went outside to revive the referee, Stone Cold Steve Austin attacked Triple H and performed the Stone Cold Stunner on him as retaliation for Triple H costing Austin the title several weeks earlier on Raw Is War. As Austin left the arena, Angle crawled over on top of Triple H to cover him for the pin, while Hebner recovered and made the count. Angle won the match and retained the WWF Title, with a very angry Triple H vowing to get even with Austin for costing him the match.

Next up was the 30-man Royal Rumble match.

In the ring, Howard Finkel stood. "Ladies and Gentlemen, here are the rules for the Royal Rumble match. In just a moment, those superstars who drew numbers 1 and 2 will enter the ring and the match will begin. Then, every two minutes, another superstar enters the match according to the number he drew. It is every man for himself. An elimination occurs when a superstar is thrown over the top rope with both feet touching the floor. The last superstar remaining in the ring after all 30 have entered will be decalred the winner and will go on to face the World Wrestling Federation Champion at WrestleMania!"

OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!

Dead Silent plays to a pop from the fans as smoke fills the stage, the lights dimming to a familiar sinister blood red and dark blue. Trish is standing on the stage in a dark robe, dressed in a black top that gave a great view of her cleavage, wore a black leather skirt that stopped mid-thigh, giving a great view of her long legs and wore a black cowgirl hat, before the Bladewolf walks out, the Intercontinental Championship around his waist, and stands in front of her, facing the ring with a dark glare on his face.

Trish takes the robe off, then walks around him, running a hand seductively across his shoulders as she walks forward to the ring while singing.

"He is time... famine, war... pestilence you cannot endure..." Trish gets in the ring and seductively rubs her body against the ropes as she continues while getting more frantic by the second. "the end is here... the end is here! Fall and Pray! Fall and Pray! Fall and PRAY!"

The lights flash blood red repeatedly as Trish falls to her knees and moves out the way as Bladewolf appears in the ring, unleashing a primal yell as he stands under the flashing red lights while the songs repeats the 'fall and pray' part.

Bladewolf beats his chest in sync with the drum part of the theme and the song slowly ends as Trish slides between Bladewolf's legs and poses on her knees in front of him while her back is pressed against his knees.

The lights go to normal and Trish gets to her feet as Bladewolf takes off his coat followed by his short-sleeved shirt to reveal his ring gear underneath. Bladewolf takes off the Intercontinental Championship, handing it to Trish, who gets out the ring to stand at ringside.

"Bladewolf is pretty unlucky here." JR said. "He starts at number 1, and will have to deal with 29 other men after him in order to win and advance to WrestleMania."

"It's gonna be tough, but Bladewolf might just do it." Jerry pointed out.

"Only other person to win the Royal Rumble from the number 1 spot is Shawn Michaels at the 1995 Royal Rumble event." JR said. "Perhaps we'll see the second man to win from that spot tonight in the Bladewolf. this will be his second Royal Rumble match, his first being the 1998 event and it came down to him and Stone Cold Steve Austin that night."

"Well, maybe having the beautiful Trish Stratus on his side at with him will increase his luck." Jerry laughed.

Jeff Hardy's theme hits to a pop from the fans and out comes Jeff Hardy who walks down to the ring before he slides in and poses on the turnbuckle before getting down as his theme dies down and the bell rings.

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

Bladewolf and Hardy lock up before Bladewolf shoves Hardy into the corner, runs and hits the turnbuckle clothesline. Bladewolf hits a left and a right to Hardy's gut, then knees him in the stomach before pulling Jeff close and hits the belly-t-belly suplex across the ring. Bladewolf gets to his feet, flipping his hair back. as he walks over to Jeff, grabbing him by the hair and pulls him to his feet before he tosses Jeff over the top rope but Jeff holds on!

Bladewolf walks over but Jeff drives his shoulder into his stomach, then goes for a over the head sunset flip but is unable to take Bladewolf off his feet, allowing the Demon Wolf to grab Jeff and lift him up then slam him on his back hard. Bladewolf presses his boot down on Jeff's neck and Jeff writhes around, legs kicking wildly due to the pressure on his neck but Baldewolf relents and watches Jeff before grabbing him from behind and hits the German Suplex across the ring. Bladewolf gets to his feet and flips his hair back before adjusting his right elbow pad.

The countdown for the third entrant in the match begins.

the Hardy Boyz' theme hits and out comes Matt hardy who runs down to aid his brother. Matt slides into the ring and takes Bladewolf down with a leaping clothesline, Bladewolf gets to his feet only to be taken down with another clothesline. The Hardy Boyz then team up and attack Bladewolf, throwing punches at him but Bladewolf knees Jeff, then Matt, before he double clotheslines both men.

Bladewolf grabs Matt hardy and hits a German Suplex across the ring, then grabs Jeff Hardy and hits him with a German Suplex across the ring. Bladewolf walks over to matt and picks him up, lifts him onto his shoulders and walks towards the ropes but Matt starts fighting back and slides off before he attempts a dropkick but Bladewolf sidesteps him, grabs him around the waist and hits a release German Suplex across the ring.

Bladewolf grabs Matt and Jeff Hardy and sends them into the corner where he runs, hits the turnbuckle clothesline, then grabs both by the throat before lifting them up... AND PLANTS THEM WITH A DOUBLE CHOKESLAM!

The countdown for the 4th entrant begins.

The APA's theme hits and out comes Faarooq who runs down as Bladewolf takes his attention off the Hardy Boyz and floors Faarooq with a clothesline as soon as he enters the ring. Bladewolf grabs Faarooq, Irish whips him off the ropes... AND NAIS HIM WITH A SPEAR! Bladewolf grabs Faarooq, lifts him up... AND TOSSES HIM OVER THE TOP ROPE AND DOWN TO THE FLOOR! FAAROOQ HAS BEEN ELIMINATED!

The Hardy Boyz attack Bladewolf from behind and try to eliminate him but Bladewolf punches them off, kicking them back. The Hardys run for a double clothesline but Bladewolf ducks it then runs... AND CLOTHESLINES THEM OVER THE TOP ROPE! THE HARDY BOYZ HAVE BEEN ELIMINATED!

Bladewolf paces in the ring as he waits for the next entrant, and soon enough the countdown for the 5th entrant begins.

Drew Casey's theme hits and out he comes as Bladewolf tilts his head curiously and he waits until Casey enters the ring. Casey tries to be friendly with Bladewolf who just stares blankly and coldly at him... BEFORE GRABBING HIM BY THE THROAT! Bladewolf lifts Casey up... AND PLANTS HIM WITH A CHOKESLAM! Bladewolf picks Casey up... AND TOSSES HIM OVER THE TOP ROPE AND DOWN TO THE FLOOR! DREW CASEY HAS BEEN ELIMINATED!

Bladewolf walks around in the ring as he waits for the sixth entrant countdown to begin, and soon enough it does.

The pyro explodes and Kane's theme plays as the Big Red Machine walks out, gaining Bladewolf's attention as he watches his brother walk down to the ring. Kane climbs onto the ring apron and steps over the top rope, facing off with his brother. Bladewolf and Kane go eye to eye before Bladewolf strikes first with a right hook, then knees kane in the ribs before he takes kane down with a clothesline and hammers away on Kane's masked face before he grabs kane and tries to eliminate his brother but Kane halts himself and elbows Bladewolf in the ribcage, then drives him into the corner.

Kane hammers away on Bladewolf with lefts and rights, forcing Bladewolf to cover up to defend himself. Kane grabs his brother and irish whips him across the ring hard enough to make Bladewolf stumble off and into a sidewalk slam from Kane. The Big Red Monster gets to his feet, grabs his brother and shoves him into the corner, trying to go for a corner elimination but Bladewolf is not making it easy for his brother as he holds on. The two keep this up and soon enough the countdown for the 7th entrant begins.

raven's theme hits and he comes sprinting down to the ring with a kendo stick, slides into the ring and... WHACKS KANE AND THEN BLADEWOLF! This doesn't hurt the two brothers but makes them pause in their grappling with each other to look at raven, Kane letting Bladewolf go from the corner. Raven backs up as Bladewolf and Kane stare at him before they look at each other then at raven... THEN THEY GRAB HIM BY THE THROAT TOGETHER! Kane and Bladewolf lift Raven up... AND PLANT HIM WITH A DOUBLE CHOKESLAM!

Bladewolf then tackles Kane down and hammers away with MMA-style lefts and rights, then starts bringing down clubbing forearms n his brother, causing Kane to cover up from his brother's attacks. Bladewolf gets to his feet and stomps on kane several times before he delivers a leg drop across the throat of Kane. Bladewolf gets to his feet, flipping his hair back, before he grabs raven and Irish whips him into the corner, runs and hits the turnbuckle clothesline, scoops him up... AND HITS THE RUNNING POWERSLAM!

Bladewolf gets to his feet and grabs Kane whow as starting to get to his feet as well. Bladewolf rams Kane's head off the ring apron, and he unloads on his brother with lefts and rights, then uppercuts Kane, before he drives his elbow into the side of Kane's head. Bladewolf then grabs Kane's left arm, wraps it around the top rope and pulls on it, causing Kane to let out muffled grunts of pain before Bladewolf delivers a punch to the shoulder joint of the arm, causing Kane to clutch it.

Bladewolf then focuses on Raven, who had rolled out under the bottom rope and was crouching there. Bladewolf walks over... ONLY TO BE SORAYED IN THE FACE BY A FIRE EXTINGSHIER! Raven tosses a trash can into the ring when he is attacked from behind by Al Snow, who is in the Royal Rumble. Al Snow lays a beating on Raven before referees pull him back and Raven gets into the ring as Bladewolf is shaking off the Fire extinguisher.

BUZZ!

Al Snow was revealed to be the next entrant and he slides into the ring... AND SMACKS RAVEN IN THE HEAD WITHA TRASH CAN LID! Al Snow then... HITS BLADEWOLF WITH THE TRASH CAN LID! THEN HITS KANE! Bladewolf shakes off the pain and Al Snow turns around into a big boot from Bladewolf, who leans on the ropes and rubs his eyes after being sprayed in the face by the fire extinguisher.

Raven tries to sneak up on Bladewolf only to get floored with a clothesline by Kane. Bladewolf and Kane look at each other before they look at Raven and Al Snow, before looking at each other and nod before they go to work on the other two men in the ring with them, joining forces for now.

The countdown for the 9th entrant begins.

Perry Saturn's theme hits and he comes out with Terri. Saturn attacks Kane as he enters the ring but Bladewolf clobbers him from behind, grabs Saturn and hits a German Suplex across the ring. Bladewolf then takes raven down with a clothesline, then Al Snow with a big boot. He turns around and Terri is on the ring apron, activing seductive as she teases him with her body and cleavage.

Trish walks around the ring and yanks Terri off the apron and starts fighting with her before she Irish whips Terri into the steel steps.

"Don't mess with my man, bitch!" Trish yells down at Terri before she smirks at Bladewolf who shakes his head with an amused look before he focuses on the match.

Bladewolf turns and ducks a right from Saturn, uppercuts him. Bladewolf turns around... ONLY TO BE HIT IN THE SKULL BY A TRASH CAN! Raven, Al Snow and Saturn team up to take Bladewolf and Kane down, and they actually kept the two monsters down as the countdown for the next entrant begins.

BUZZ!

Steve Blackman's theme hits and the Lethal Weapon sprints down to the ring, slides into the ring and starts attacking everyone with a kendo stick in hand. Bladewolf is shown rolling out the ring underneath he bottom rope and leaning on the steel steps. Trish walks over to check on him as the match continues. Bladewolf stays out the ring, watching as Kane eliminates Al Snow, Raven, Steve Blackman, Perry Saturn, Grand Master Sexay, and the Honey tonk Man.

Bladewolf rolls into the ring after Kane just eliminated the Honkey Tonk Man and the two brothers start fighting aach other again. Bladewolf gets Kane in the corner and stomps away on him, making kane sit in the corner as Bladewolf keeps it up.

The countdown for the 13th entrant begins.

The Rock's theme hits to a pop and out comes the people's Champion, causing Bladewolf to whirl around as he knows the Rock is another big threat between him and his goal to WrestleMania. The Rock runs and slides into the ring and immediately attacks Bladewolf, throwing a series of rights before knocking him down with a hard right hand, then does the same to Kane. Bladewolf gets to his feet but the Rock grabs him and tries to eliminate Bladewolf who halts himself and knocks the Rock back with a right hand and runs at him... BUT THE ROCK HITS A SPINEBUSTER!

Kane takes the Rock down with a clothesline and stomps away on the People's Champion, the man who won last year's Royal Rumble event. Bladewolf recovers from the spine buster and gets to his feet before he walks over, joining Kane in stomping on the Rock before the brothers pull the Rock to his feet and delivers kicks to the Rock's stomach before they Irish whip him off the ropes and take him down with a double clothesline.

Bladewolf leans on the ropes for a breather as kane goes for the Rock, but the Rock starts fighting back, knocking Kane back with a series of right hands, rebounds off the ropes but is floored with a big boot as the countdown for the 14th entrant begins.

The Goodfather's theme hits and out comes one of the members of Right to Censor to boos from the crowd. Bladewolf flips his hair back and adjusts his elbow pads the Goodfather runs into the ring only to be taken down with an uppercut by Bladewolf, who then clotheslines the Goodfather over the top rope! THE GOODFATHER IS ELIMINATED!

Bladewolf has now eliminated five men in this match thus far.

Bladewolf turns around and is taken down by the Rock, but Bladewolf sits up instantly and get to his feet. The Rock was quick to attack as he fights off Bladewolf, then fights off Kane when the Big Red Machine came fourth to seemingly aid his brother. The Rock had a tough battle as he fought off the two brothers, who then take him down with a double clothesline. The Bladewolf and Kane grab the Rock, pull him to his feet and then hit a double suplex to the people's Champion. bladewolf gets to his feet while Kane crawls over to choke the Rock.

Kane pulls the Rock to his feet, goes for an irish whip but Rock ducks the right from Kane and unloads on the Big Red Monster, leading to bladewolf clobbering the Rock from behind. The Bladewolf grabs the Rock from behind and hits a release German Suplex across the ring.

The countdown for the 15th entrant begins.

Tazz's theme hits and out comes the ECW veteran who sprints down to the ring as Bladewolf is leaning on the ropes and Kane faces Tazz when the former ECW superstar enters the ring and finds himself face to face with the Big Red Machine. Kane then sets Tazz up on the top turnbuckle and knocks him out the ring with a right hand! TAZZ IS ELIMINATED BY KANE!

Bladewolf starts hammering away on the Rock in the corner, delivering a series of hammering right hands to the skull and forehead of the Rock. Bladewolf pulls the Rock to his feet, goes for an irish whip but the Rock reverses it and Bladewolf rebounds off the ropes, ducks the Rock's clothesline, and lifts the Rock up onto his right shoulder goes for a running powerslam but the Rock slides off and shoves Bladewolf forward. Bladewolf turns around only to be hooked up for the Rock Bottom but Bladewolf elbows the Rock in the side of the head several times before he knees the Rock in the gut... AND NAILS THE DDT!

Bladewolf holds the Rock down as Kane runs and drives an elbow into the stomach of the Rock. Kane and Bladewolf continue to torture the Rock, taking turns in delivering punches to the Rock or doing anything to him. Bladewolf Irish whips the Rock into the corner and Kane runs, hitting a turnbuckle cothesline before shoving the Rock towards Bladewolf who floors the former WWF Champion with a big boot.

The countdown for the 16th entrant begins.

The APA theme hits and out comes Bradshaw who runs down to the ring, slides in and tackles Bladewolf down, since it was Bladewolf who eliminated Bradshaw's partner, Faarooq. Bradhsaw hammers away on Bladewolf with lefts and rights, forcing the Intercontinental Champion to cover up. Bradshaw keeps up the assault, causing Kane to clobber Bradshaw from behind. Bladewolf makes it to his feet, and both Kane and Bladewolf stomp on Bradshaw before Bladewolf picks Bradhsaw up, and both Bladewolf and Kane grab Bradshaw by the throat, lift him up... AND PLANT HIM WITH A DOUBLE CHOKESLAM!

Kane... GRABS BLADEWOLF BY THE THROAT! Kane lifts Bladewolf up... AND PLANTS HIM WITH A CHOKESLAM! Bladewolf rolls out underneath the bottom rope to recover an Trish goes to check on him as the match continues...

Later in the match

Bladewolf had remained on the outside, recovering and gaining his breath back, but he had been watching the match. However, as soon as he saw Kane being teamed up on by everyone currently in the ring, which was Albert, Hardcore Holly, Crash Holly, Bradshaw, and Val Venis, Bladewolf slides in and went on the attack, attacking everyone assaulting his brother, but this led to the gang of superstars attacking him, and since Bladewolf had been in the match the longest, he was too weak to fight off a large group of superstars overwhelming him and the numbers game quickly got to him. Kane tries to help his brother out, but got double teamed as well as the gang of superstarts are keeping the two brothers down.

The Undertaker's theme hits to a pop from the fans and out comes the American Badass on his motorcycle, driving down and circling the ring like he owns it, then parks his ride before he quickly enters the ring and comes to save his brothers, fighting off the gang of superstars. Bladewolf and Kane get their second wind and help their older brother fight off everyone in the ring against them. Bladewolf and Undertaker grab Bradshaw... AND TOSS HIM OVER THE TOP ROPE! BRADSHAW IS ELIMINATED!

Kane... TOSSES CRASH HOLLY OVER THE TOP ROPE! CRASH HOLLY IS ELIMINATED! Kane runs... AND CLOTHESLINES ALBERT OVER THE TOP ROPE! ALBERT IS ELIMINATED! Undertaker grabs Hardcore Holly... AND TOSSES HIM OVER THE TOP ROPE! HARDCORE HOLLY IS ELIMINATED!

Val Venis attacks Bladewolf from behind, but the Demon Wolf knees him in the stomach... THEN TOSSES HIM OVER THE TOP ROPE! VAL VENIS IS ELIMINATED!

Now the only men in the ring right now were the Bladewolf, the Undertaker and Kane.

The brothers stare each other down, knowing tis was every man for himself right now. The brothers go eye to eye with each other as the countdown for the 26th entrant begins.

BUZZ!

Scotty 2 Hotty's theme hits and out comes the other half of Too Cool who is hesitant to enter the ring as Bladewolf, Undertaker and Kane are staring at him, standing side by side. Hotty enters the ring only to be punches by Undertaker, sending him into Bladewolf who knees him in the ribs, sending Hotty to kane who uppercuts him. Undertaker Irish whips Hotty off the ropes and drops him with a big boot. Kane scoops Hotty up and hits a one-armed powerslam.

Bladewolf walks over and grabs Hotty by the throat, pulling him to his feet. Undertaker walks over and grabs Hotty by the throat, Kane also does it. The three brothers look at each other before they lift Hotty up... AND HITA TRIPLE CHOKESLAM ON HOTTY! The Brothers of Destruction pick Hotty up... AND TOSS HIM OVER THE TOP ROPE! SCOTTY 2 HOTTY IS ELIMINATED BY THE BROTHERS OF DESTRUCTION!

The brothers stand together as the countdown for the 27th entrant begins.

Stone Cold Steve Austin's theme hits to a loud pop from the fans and out comes the Texas Rattlesnake. Austin made it to the ring... ONLY TO BE ATTACKED FROM BEHIND BY TRIPLE H! Triple H assaults Austin at ringside due to the issues between the two men, starting with the fact Triple H had Austin run over at the 1999 Survivor Series event, and also because Austin cost Triple H the WWF Championship earlier tonight.

Back in the ring, the Rock attacks Bladewolf and Kane, causing undertaker to attack the Rock. The Brothers of Destruction were quick to start hammeringa way and working on the Rock. Outside the ring, triple H and Austin are still fighting each other, even as the countdown for the 28th entrant begins.

BUZZ!

Billy Gunn's theme hits and he comes sprinting to the ring, slliding in but Bladewolf grabs him, lifts him up into a sitting position on his shoulders... AND HITS THE LAST RIDE! Bladewolf pulls Gunn to his feet... AND TOSSES HIM OVER THE TOP ROPE! BILLY GUNN HAS BEEN ELIMINATED!

Bladewolf has now eliminated 8 men in this match.

Bladewolf goes back to helping his brothers stomp away on the Rock. The three brothers take turns in getting their shots in on the Rock. And soon enough the countdown for the 29th entrant soon begins.

Haku's theme hits and out comes Haku. The Samoan superstar runs down to the ring and slides in, going straight after the Undertaker as Bladewolf and Kane are too busy focusing on the Rock, but eventually they do and go for Haku who fights them off wildly, being a fresh superstar while Bladewolf has officially been in the match for nearly an hour now.

Bladewolf and Undertaker work on Haku while Kane deals with the |Rock. Soon enough, the countdown for the final entrant begins.

Rikishi's theme hits and out he comes. But he ends up brawling with Stone Cold Steve Austin at ringside, but that soon ends up in the ring. The only remaining men are the ones in the ring, which consist of the Bladewolf, Kane, the Undertaker, the Rock, Rikishi, Haku and Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Bladewolf grabs Austin, but Austin shoves him off, kicks him in the stomach... AND HITS THE STONE COLD STUNNER ON BLADEWOLF! Austin then runs and sends Haku over the top rope! HAKU HAS BEEN ELIMINATED!

Bladewolf fights to his feet and sees the Undertaker leaning on the ropes and runs... AND CLOTHESLINE STHE UNDERTAKER OVER THE TOP ROPE! THE UDNERTAKER HAS BEEN ELIMINATED!

Bladewolf has now eliminated 9 men in this match thus far.

Bladewolf leans in the corner, sitting on the middle turnbuckle as he watches the others fight each other and eventually Rikishi is eliminated, leaving it down to just the Bladewolf, Kane , the Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Kane turns around... INTOA SPEAR FROM BLADEWOLF! Bladewolf stumbles to his feet, weakened after being in the ring the longest. He turns around... INTO A SECOND STONE COLD STUNNER! Bladewolf stumbles on his feet and turns, only to be hooked up, lifted... AND HIT WITH THE ROCK BOTTOM! Blaewolf rolls out underneath the bottom rope, completely spent and exhausted as Trish runs over to him.

"I'm exhausted." George said to her over the sound of the crowd.

"You're nearly there." Trish smiled and kissed him. "Just don't push yourself."

Bladewolf leans against the steel steps but manages to watch and see the Rock be eliminated by Kane, leaving Austin and Kane in the ring but both are uanware that Bladewolf is still in this match. Bladewolf watches as Austins trieks Kane with chairs shots... THEN CLOTHESLINES KANE OVER THE TOP ROPE! KANE HAS BEEN ELIMINATED!

Austin raises his arms, thinking he's won, but he doesn't see Bladewolf sliding into the ring behind him and setting up for a Spear. just like the 1998 event, it was down to Austin and Bladewolf in the final two, one of these men will be going to WrestleMania. But will history repeat itself and Austin wins or will Bladewolf eliminate Austin and gain the victory?

Austin turns around... INTO A SPEAR FROM BLADEWOLF! Bladewolf was too exhausted to immediately take advantage, having been in the match for over an hour now. Bladewolf struggles to his feet and flips his hair back, reaching up to the straps of his ring attire and pulls them down to his waist before he lets out a wolf howl to the fans, which they copy.

Bladewolf grabs Austin, weakly pulling him to his feet. Both men are exhausted but Bladewolf scoops Austin up... AND HITS THE FURY OF THE WOLF! Bladewolf, pushed by adrenaline, shot to his feet, grabs Austin who tries fighting back, landing some right hands to Bladewolf who uppercuts him, causing Austin to lean on the ropes... BUT BLADEWOLF CLOTHESLINE SHIM OVER THE TOP ROPE! AUSTIN IS ELIMINATED!

BLADEWOLF HAS WON THE 2001 ROYAL RUMBLE MATCH!

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

Dead Silent plays as Bladewolf falls down onto his back and Trish slides into the ring to hug him. "Here is your winner... THE BLADEWOLF!"

"Bladewolf is going to WrestleMania!" JR exclaimed. "The Bladewolf will be in the Main Event at WrestleMania!"

Bladewolf gets to his feet, leaning on the ropes with exhaustion evident on his face as the crowd were on their feet.

"That is the toughest son of a bitch in the WWF!" JR shouted. "He outlasted 29 other men from the number 1 spot! He did it! He managed to do it and survive the longest in Rumble history! You cannot look at this man and NOT call him the toughest SOB in the WWF today!"

Bladewolf stands in the middle of the ring, pulls Trish close and makes out with her to the wolf whistles from the fans. Bladewolf then does the title gesture around his waist.

"He is coming for it!" JR exclaimed. "He is coming for the WWF Championship! the Champion better be ready for they're going to be going through hell come WrestleMania!"

The 2001 WWF Royal Rumble goes off the air with Bladewolf standing in the ring with Trish in his arms...
