RAW is WAR: 29/1/2001

RAW is WAR was live at the Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Jim Ross announced a Fatal Fourway match to become No. 1 contender as RAW kicked off! The four men battling for the No. 1 spot: The Rock, Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho and the Big Show!

World Wrestling Federation Champion Kurt Angle made his way to the ring and told the crowd that it was great to be back in his hometown! Angle then said it didn't matter who won the Fatal Fourway match later, because he would always retain his title! Immediately, The Rock came to the stage. The Great One said he came out to show Angle one thing - footage of Kurt Angle in an old pizza commercial! The People's Champion then said that it does matter who is in the Fatal Fourway later, but before The Rock could finish, the Big Show attacked him from behind! As Kurt Angle smiled on, the Big Show pointed at him as if to say, "I'll take your title!"

Before their match against the Dudley Boyz, Edge and Christian came out in street clothes! Christian said that they get to attemt to win the Tag Team titles anytime they want. While all they wanted to do was beat the Dudleyz, Edge said he could not fight because he had food poisoning. So, Christian and Edge introduced the DUdleyz new title challengers - Kaientai! Taka came out and said that, "By the power of Greyskull," they would win because they are evil

Funaki, a man of few words, added "Indeed." As the match began, Christian and Edge joined J.R. and The King at the commentators table. The match nearly ended after Edge speared D-Von and Funaki covered him for a 2-count. The Dudleyz took the win after pinning Funaki after hitting him with a 3-D!

In Mr. McMahon's office, Vince told Jonathan Coachman that if Rock couldn't compete, they would have to have a Triple Threat match. One way or another, Mr. McMahon said, there would be a No. 1 contender determined by the end of the night. Triple H and Stephanie then stormed in with The Game's attorney, in preparation for the conract signing for Triple H's match against Stone Cold Steve Austin at No Mercy. Triple H then got in Vince's face about how Austin had been driving him crazy. Vince sent the Game away, telling him to cool his jets.

'The One' Billy Gunn told Michael Cole that Chyna was doing good, under the circumstances. So he told her to go out and tour for her book, in order to get her mind off the Right to Censor. Val Venis of the Right to Censor then made his way to the ring for a match against Steve Blackman. After Steven Richards had kicked the Lethal Weapon when the referee was distracted, Val Venis got a near-pinfall. The match ended on a disqualification when Hardcore Holly came out to the ring and discharged a fire extinguisher in the Right to Censor's faces and then knocked everyone out with kendo sticks!

As the Right to Censor ran away, Blackman and Holly stared each other down.

In the arena, the ring was covered in carpeting, with a table and nice leather chairs, in preparation for the contract signing between Triple H and Stone Cold Steve Austin. Once the contract was signed, their match at No Way Out would be official.

In his locker room, Triple H freaked out on his lawyer, saying he better not get screwed in the contract. The Game then asked Stephanie if he could actually trust Vince. In his locker room, Stone Cold told Michael Cole that he would sign the contract, no matter what it said - in fact, he would be the first to sign it if that's what it took!

Before the contract signing got underway, Mr. McMahon told the crowd that the contract would bind Stone Cold and Triple H to a match, the kind of which was yet-to-be determined. Vince said that both men agreed to a special stipulation - that there would not be an act of aggression to either individual, unless it was in a sanctioned match by the Federation. If The Game attacked Austin, he would be suspended for six months. If Austin attacks Triple H, he will never again get a WWF Title shot. vince then announced that the winner of this match will go on to enter the WWF Championship match at No Way Out, and the winner of THAT match goes n to WrestleMania and faces the Bladewolf who won the Royal Rumble.

Triple H, Stephanie and their attorney then came out to the ring, followed by Stone Cold Steve Austin. Mr. McMahon, Triple H and Austin then sat down at the table, and Stone Cold grabbed a few beers for the event! Austin was the first to sign, and before Triple H signed, he passed the contract to Stephanie and his attorney. The Game's attorney then pointed out a line in the contract, and he began to talk to his client. Triple H then appeared to sign the contract while staring a whole through Austin. As Mr. McMahon announced that it was official, Triple H attacked Stone Cold! Vince told the Game he was suspended for six months, but Triple H countered by saying he never signed the contract! The Game then grabbed the contract from Vince and signed it, telling Austin that since it was now official, Stone Cold couldn't touch him!

During a break, Triple H and Stephanie took off in a limo!

In triple-threat tag team action, the APA, Faarooq and Bradshaw took on the Hardy Boyz and the Goodfather and Bull Buchanan. The winner of the match would face the Dudley Boyz for the Tag Team Title on SmackDown. On the outside of the ring, Lita and Jacqueline brawled until Lita was taken to the back. The Hardy Boyz took the win after Jeff hit Bull with a Swanton Bomb and pinned him.

The Rock told Michael Cole that he would be participating in the Fatal Four-way match, and he promised the Big Show that he would get revenge! In his dressing room, Show just laughed.

In a Hardcore Title match, Crash Holly challenged champion Raven.

The two battled everywhere, and eventually got outside in a small park. When it appeared Raven was about to win, a car drove up and a woman dressed in black with a mask attacked Crash and drove away with Raven!

Tazz asked Chris Benoit if someone was going to prove him wrong or not. Benoit replied by simply saying 'No.'

Next up was the Undertaker vs Haku.

OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!

The pyro exploded and the Undertaker's Rollin theme played to a loud pop from the fans before the Undertaker, Kane and the Bladewolf walked out to an even louder pop from the fans. Bladewolf had his Intercontinental Championship on his right shoulder.

"And here they come!" JR exclaimed. "The Undertaker has demanded this match against Haku! He'll have Kane and the Bladewolf in his corner, and Kane suffering from injured ribs after the double team from those two huge monsters Rikishi and Haku last Thursday on SmackDown."

"Well there's three huge monsters right there, JR." Jerry pointed out, gesturing to the Brothers of Destruction. "Shoulder to shoulder, brothers together, the Undertaker, the Bladewolf and Kane! they're together again!"

The Undertaker enters the ring while Kane and the Bladewolf stand at ringside, watching their older brother as his theme dies down and the Deadman waits for his opponent to come out. Haku's theme hits and out comes Haku with Rikishi to boos from the fans. Haku was clearly pumped for this match as he threw some fists at the air like a boxer.

Haku wasted no time in sliding into the ring and getting it on with the Undertaker, causing the bell to ring.

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

"And here they go!" JR said as Undertaker slugs it out with Haku, throwing fists. "Haku and the Undertaker!"

Undertaker landed several rights hands to the forehead of Haku, then Irish whips him off the ropes and takes the Samoan superstar down with a big boot to the face. Undertaker then rebounds off the ropes and lands a huge leg drop across the throat of Haku then goes for the cover.

"One!"

"Two-!"

Haku kicks out at two.

"Haku kicked out." JR said as Undertaker lifts Haku up and hits a powerslam.

"Woah!" Jerry exclaimed.

Undertaker runs, bounces off the ropes and comes back with a running elbow drop to the chest of Haku, then he goes for the cover again.

"One!"

"Two-!"

Haku kicks out again.

Undertaker pulls Haku to his fist and twists his left arm before backing into the corner, causing the crowd to cheer as they know what Undertaker was going for. Undertaker walks along the top rope with cat-like agility then leaps off... AND HITS OLD SCHOOL!

"Old School!" JR exclaimed.

"I love it when he does this!" Jerry laughed.

Haku made it to his feet but the Undertaker rebounds off the ropes and floors Haku with a clothesline, then flips over the ropes and lands on his feet as he goes after Rikishi now and starts hammering away on the man.

"Undertaker doesn't forget!" JR said as Haku exits the ring to help out Rikishi, attacking the Undertaker from behind and getting him away from Rikishi, landing a headbutt on the American badass.

Haku gets Undertaker back into the ring and gets him in the corner, hitting a few chops across the chest of the Deadman, then irish whips him across the ring, charges at the Undertaker who elbows Haku, halting him in his tracks. Undertaker lands a quick right hand to the jaw of Haku, followed by a coupe of hard right hands to the forehead. Undertaker then irish whips Haku and bends down for a back body drop but Haky halts himself, grabs Undertaker by the hairs and throws him down onto his back.

Haku then lands a headbutt on the downed Undertaker several times before he gets Undertaker back into the corner wher ehe lands a series of lefts and rights, forcing the Undertaker to cover up and protect himself while the referee warns Haku. Haku irish whips the Undertaker into the corner and hits another hard headbutt.

"Another headbutt by Haku." JR said as Haku goes for the cover. "And the cover!"

"One!"

"Two!"

"Thr-!"

Undertaker kicks out at two and a half.

"And he just barely kicked out!" JR said. "I mean just barely got the shoulder up!"

Undertaker makes it to his feet but Haku was on the attack once again as he lands another headbutt, but the Undertaker starts fighting back as he lands some right hands to the head of Haku, but Haku manages to land a punch to the Undertaker's neck, forcing the American badass to back off. Haku irish whips the Undertaker, who ducks a right, runs, rebounds off the ropes... AND HITS THE LEAPING CLOTHESLINE!

"Undertaker!" JR exclaimed.

"Almost knocked the hair off Haku's head!" Jerry said.

"undertaker leaving his feet to take Haku down." JR said as Undertaker pulls Haku to his feet. "This has been a very, very physical matchup here to say the least." Undertaker Irish whips Haku off the ropes but Haku reverses, only for the Undertaker to come back... AND NAIL THE DDT! "DDt!"

"Bam!" Jerry added. "That's it."

"haku's got a hard head but he still felt that DDT." JR said.

Undertaker lifts Haku onto his right shoulder, looking for the Tombstone, when Rikishi gets up on the ring apron and shouts at the Deadman, causing Undertaker to drop Haku and go for Rikishi who gets down off the ring apron, only for Bladewolf and Kane to assault him.

"And there's Bladewolf and Kane!" JR exclaimed as Bladewolf and Kane fight Rikishi on the outside, while Haku takes down the Undertaker in the ring.

Haku shouts at Bladewolf and Kane who go to get in the ring and get him... WHEN RIKISHI DRIVES THE EDGE OF A CHAIR INTO KANE'S RIBS! Bladewolf gets down to attack Rikishi... BUT GETS A CHAIR SHOT TO THE SKULL!

In the ring, Undertaker grabs Haku by the throat, lifts him up... AND PLANTS HIM WITH A CHOKESLAM! HE GOES FOR THE COVER!

"One!"

"Two!"

"Three! Ring the bell!" The referee calls.

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

Undertaker's theme plays. "Here is your winner... THE UNDERTAKER!" Lillian Garcia announced.

Rikishi gets in the ring and fights with undertaker, leading to Haku... BASHING THE UDNERTAKER IN THE HEAD WITHA CHAIR! Bladewolf and Kane try to come to their brother's aid but they get attacked by Rikishi and Haku as well, the Bladewolf having been busted open at the hands of Rikishi, as has the Undertaker. The brothers get their second wind back and drive off the two Samoan superstars as the Undertaker's theme plays again...

Backstage

After the break, the Brothers of Destruction are shown backstage, the Bladewolf and Undertaker bleeding from the chair shots to their skulls. Bladewolf's blood mixing with the red and black facepaint he wore. Kevin Kelly was interviewing the brothers.

"undertaker, after what just happened, I gotta imagine you gotta be looking for some kind of payback."

"Shut up!" Undertaker interrupted with an angry expression. "There's too much talking going on, including myself. I've been going around, talking about 'stay out of my yard, I'm gonna make you famous.' Well talking ain't what I'm about, kicking people's ass is what i'm all about. Now I got these island boys trying to make a name for themselves at our expense, uh-uh! Ain't gonna happen! So let me tell the island boys this, Haku and Rikishi, if the two of you got a set, Thursday, in the ring, First Blood. Cause see this?" Undertaker taps his forehead. "This don't bother me! I like it! I like to bleed! it turns me on! But what turns me on more is making other people bleed and Thursday night, Rikishi, Haku, you're gonna bleed, and you're gonna bleed and then you're gonna bleed some more, tell them brothers!"

"Rikishi... Haku!" Kane said through gritted teeth. "Thursday... it'll be your turn to bleed!"

"And we're gonna enjoy every single bit of it" Bladewolf said before he slammed his elbow into the wall and looked at the camera. "That's what's gonna happen to you on Thursday."

The brothers walk away...

And that's it for this chapter everyone.
