RAW is WAR: 12/2/2001
RAW is WAR was live at the Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley entered the ring - and neither appeared to be in a good mood! The Game complained that like the citizens of New Jersey, he was confused. He tried to comprehend the logic behind the match that would pit Rikishi (representing Stone Cold Steve Austin) against The Rock (representing Triple H), which would determine the stipulations for the Game's match against Austin at No Way Out. Triple H understood why Mr. McMahon would want to keep he and Austin separated, but not why Mr. McMahon would choose The Rock - the one man Triple H hates as much as Austin - to represent him. The Game added that his stipulations are "too good for The Rock to screw up and are mind-boggling," and warned that all The Rock had to do was get the job done and not do anything stupid!
With that said, The People's Champion entered the arena. The Rock first questioned Triple H's own intelligence for marrying Stephanie! He then said he could care less about his stipulations because he will face Kurt Angle at No Way Out for the World Wrestling Federation Championship. The Rock guaranteed two things - that he would become the new Federation Champion and defend the title against the Bladewolf at WrestleMania! The Rock then walked down the aisle looking for a fight with Triple H until Rikishi entered the ring.
Rikishi was also confused on why Rock would want to start a fight with Triple H when he had the Bad Man to deal with. He added that Austin knows he would never "steer him wrong!" and that the match would be a regular "hit and run!"
Austin then decided to join the party! He told Rikishi that his little jokes did not bother him, but because he represented him, the Rattlesnake said he'd sit ringside and make sure he'd get the job done! And when the match is over, he said he'd hand him a beer, propose a toast and give him a Stone Cold Stunner in the middle of the ring! In response, Triple H said he'd sit at ringside and warned The Rock face to face that he'd better get the job done. The Rock then attacked Triple H, but Rikishi attacked the Great One from behind and took him out with a devastating leg drop. But the Samoan monster didn't stop there, taking out Austin with a savat kick!
The opening match of the show will be the Bladewolf defending the Intercontinental Championship against Eddie Guerrero.
In the arena, Eddie Guerrero's theme hits and out comes Latino Heat who starts making his way down to the ring to boos from the fans. Guerrero gets onto the ring apron and enters the ring through the middle rope and his theme soon dies down as he poses and then does the title gesture around his waist.
OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!
Dead Silent plays to a pop from the fans as smoke fills the stage, the lights dimming to a familiar sinister blood red and dark blue. Trish is standing on the stage in a dark robe, dressed in a black top that gave a great view of her cleavage, wore a black leather skirt that stopped mid-thigh, giving a great view of her long legs and wore a black cowgirl hat, before the Bladewolf walks out, the Intercontinental Championship around his waist, and stands in front of her, facing the ring with a dark glare on his face.
Trish takes the robe off, then walks around him, running a hand seductively across his shoulders as she walks forward to the ring while singing.
"He is time... famine, war... pestilence you cannot endure..." Trish gets in the ring and seductively rubs her body against the ropes as she continues while getting more frantic by the second. "the end is here... the end is here! Fall and Pray! Fall and Pray! Fall and PRAY!"
The lights flash blood red repeatedly as Trish falls to her knees and moves out the way as Bladewolf appears in the ring, unleashing a primal yell as he stands under the flashing red lights while the songs repeats the 'fall and pray' part.
Bladewolf beats his chest in sync with the drum part of the theme and the song slowly ends as Trish slides between Bladewolf's legs and poses on her knees in front of him while her back is pressed against his knees.
The lights go to normal and Trish gets to her feet as Bladewolf takes off his coat followed by his short-sleeved shirt to reveal his ring gear underneath. Bladewolf takes off the Intercontinental Championship, handing it to the referee as Trish gets out the ring to stand at ringside.
The referee holds the title up and then hands it to someone at ringside before calling for the bell to begin the match.
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
"Here we go." JR said as Bladewolf stares down Guerrero with his dark gaze. "Bladewolf vs Eddie Guerrero for the Intercontinental Championship. And Bladewolf staring at Guerrero with those dark, demonic eyes of his."
Bladewolf walks forward and throws his fists up in a boxer stance as he goes for Guerrero who backs up. Bladewolf lunges with a right but Guerrero ducks it. Bladewolf lunges at Guerrero again but Guerrerol ducks into a roll and slides out the ring, laughing as the crowd boos. Guerrero does a little jog around the ring and pauses to smile at Trish who glares at him.
Bladewolf rolls out the ring and Guerrero runs back into the ring as Bladewolf checks on Trish before he goes after Guerrero who runs and lands a dropkick to Bladewolf's shoulder, knocking the Demon Wolf back out of the ring.
"Guerrero, using his agility to evade Bladewolf here." JR said. "But I doubt it'll help in the long run."
Bladewolf paces back and fourth on the outside of the ring befor ehe jumps onto the ring apron and enters the ring as Guerrero is telling him to bring it on. Bladewolf backs Guerrero into a corner and fakes a lunge, causing Guerrero to try and duck, but Bladewolf caught him around the waist and shoves him back into the cornere where he unloads with right hands to Guerrero's forehead.
"And Bladewolf not falling for it this time!" JR said. "He faked a lunge, and Guerrero took the bait! Now it's the Bladewolf who is outsmarting Eddie Guerrero."
"Don't underestimate Eddie Guerrero." Jerry said sternly.
Bladewolf keeps punching Guerrero, causing the referee to step in and warn him which causes Bladewolf to whirl around and glare at him, scaring the referee back. Bladewolf turns back to guerrero and irish whips him across the ring, runs for a turnbuckle clothesline but Guerrero ducks and rlls him up.
"Guerrero with a roll up!" JR eclaimed.
"One!"
"this could be it!" Jerry said.
"Two-!"
Bladewolf kicks out.
"Bladewolf kicks out." JR noted.
Bladewolf gets to a knee when Guerrero leaps onto his back, trying to lock in a sleeper hold but Bladewolf stands on both feet, runs backwards and drives Guerrero into the turnbuckles, causing Guerrero to release him. Bladewolf drives his elbow into the side of Guerrero's head, then turns around and hammers away on Guerrero's forehead before pulling him close and hits a belly-to-belly suplex across the ring.
"Nice belly-to-belly suplex by the Bladewolf." JR said.
Guerrero stumbles to his feet before quickly rolling out the ring when Bladewolf comes for him. guerrero takes a breather as Bladewolf watches him from inside the ring. Guerrero slowly starts to come into the ring but ducks out at the last second, causing Bladewolf to get impatient and slide out the ring to go after him. Guerrero runs, jumping over the steel steps. Bladewolf walks around them and Guerrero leans against the other steel steps, causing Bladewolf to run at him but Guerrero moves out the way, causing Bladewolf to halt himself... BUT GUERERRO DROPKICKS HIM INTO THE STEEL STEPS!
"Guerrero with his quickness!" JR exclaimed.
"I told you, don't underestimate Eddie Guerrero." Jerry shook his head.
Bladewolf leans on the steps as he shakes his legs to get rid of the pain, but Guerrero runs and kicks Bladewolf's right leg, causing him to yell in pain. Guerrero takes advantage as he hammers away on Bladewolf several times before ramming his head off the steel steps then manages to toss him back into the ring.
"Back into the ring here." JR said.
Guerrero kicks Bladewolf in the stomach... AND NAILS THE DDT!
"Wow!" Jerry exclaimed. "What a DDT! We have a new Champion!"
"Oh stop." JR rolled his eyes.
Guerrero hooks the leg. "One!"
"Two!"
"Thre-!"
Bladewolf kicks out.
"That was close!" Jerry shouted. "Guerrero's got this won!"
Guerrero gets to his feet and the crowd starts cheering when Chris jericho walks down the ramp to stand at ringside. Jericho waves at Gyuerrero who glares at him.
"What is he doing here?" Jerry asked.
"Guerrero and Jericho have had their own issues lately." JR shurgged.
Guerrero was too distracted by Jericho that he didn't see Bladewolf sit up to cheers from the crowd. Bladewolf waks up behind Guerrero, grabs him... AND HITS THE DOOMSDAY SAITO SUPLEX!
"Doomsday Saito Suplex!" JR exclaimed as Bladewolf hooks the legs. "And the cover!"
"One!"
"Two!"
"Three! Ring the bell!"
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
Dead Silent plays as Bladewolf gets to his feet and walks over to a corner to get his title as Jericho slides into the ring and attacks Guerrero, but then X-Pac runs down the ramp, making his return after three months out of action. X-Pac gets into the ring and attacks Jericho, laying him out with the X-Factor. X-Pac then turns around... INTO A SPEAR FROM THE BLADEWOLF!
"What a Spear!" JR said.
Bladewolf's theme continues playing as Bladewolf rolls out the ring and leaves with Trish, who hands him his Intercontinental Championship which he puts on his right shoulder, while taking Trish's right hand in his left hand...
