WWF WrestleMania 17 was live at the Reliant Astrodome in Houston, Texas. Before the event aired live on pay-per-view, a Sunday Night Heat match was aired with Steve Blackman and Grand Master Sexay squaring off against X-Factor members X-Pac and Justin Credible. Near the end of the match, fellow X-Factor member Albert interfered by pulling Sexay out of the ring, allowing X-Pac and Credible to hit their X Marks the Spot finisher on Blackman for the win.

The first match of the event was between Chris Jericho and WWF commissioner William Regal. During the match, Regal exposed one of the top turnbuckles to throw Jericho's shoulder into it before giving him a double underhook superplex. Jericho attempted the Walls of Jericho submission hold but had it reversed into a Regal Stretch. After Jericho managed to grab a ring rope to break the hold, he retaliated with numerous chops before throwing Regal into the exposed turnbuckle and finishing him off with a Lionsault to win the match.

Tazz and The APA (Bradshaw and Faarooq) took on Right to Censor (The Goodfather, Val Venis, and Bull Buchanan) next in a short match that ended with Bradshaw pinning the Goodfather after a Clothesline from Hell.

The third match was the triple threat hardcore match between Raven, Kane and The Big Show for the Hardcore Championship. During the match, the three wrestlers fought their way out of the ring and through the crowd into the backstage area. Big Show tried to lock himself, Raven and the referee in a security cage but Kane broke the padlock and afterward threw Raven through a glass window. Big Show and Kane continued to brawl ending with the two throwing each other through a wall. Raven tried to escape by driving off in a golf cart, but Big Show stopped him and caused him to crash. Kane shortly followed with another golf cart, accompanied by the referee, and ran into Raven. The fight headed back into the stadium with Big Show attempting to press slam Raven off the entrance stage but both were kicked off it by Kane. Kane followed this with a diving leg drop off the stage onto Big Show, pinning him to become the new Hardcore Champion.

The fourth match was the European Championship match between Test and Eddie Guerrero. During the match, Test went over the top rope but got his foot caught between the top two ropes, forcing the referee and Guerrero to have to untangle him. With the help of his fellow Radicalz members Dean Malenko and Perry Saturn, Guerrero hit Test in the face with the European Championship belt while the referee was distracted and pinned him to become the new champion.

The fifth match pitted Kurt Angle against Chris Benoit. The match started with mat wrestling between the two but Angle soon punched Benoit out of frustration and threw him out of the ring, so he could throw him into the broadcast table and the steel steps. Back in the ring, both men tried to submit their opponent using the other's signature hold with Benoit using the ankle lock on Angle, and Angle using the Crippler Crossface on Benoit. Benoit eventually succeeded in forcing Angle to tap out to the Crippler Crossface but the referee was knocked down and didn't see it. Near the end of the match, Benoit tried to pin Angle after a diving headbutt but was met with a two-count. Angle then quickly rolled-up Benoit, using the tights for leverage to win the match.

The following match saw Chyna challenge the Women's Champion Ivory. After an early bit of offense from Ivory, Chyna performed a Chynabomb and looked to have the pinfall, but picked Ivory up after the 2-count. Chyna then performed a gorilla press drop and nonchalantly pinned Ivory to win the Women's Championship.

The seventh match was the street fight between Shane McMahon and Vince McMahon with Mick Foley as the special guest referee. Before the match, Vince had his wife, Linda McMahon, brought out to ringside in her wheelchair. Shane dominated his father during the earlier part of the match by attacking him with various weapons such as a kendo stick and monitors from the Spanish broadcast table. Shane laid Vince on said table and performed a diving elbow drop off the top rope but his sister, Stephanie, pulled Vince out of the way, causing Shane to crash through it. As referee Foley tried to wheel Linda out to safety, Vince hit him with a steel chair, and then pulled Linda into the ring to make her watch as he beat down Shane with a garbage can. However, Linda stood up and low-blowed Vince, allowing Foley to recover and attack him. With Vince prone in the corner, Shane placed a garbage can in front of Vince's face and hit a Coast-to-Coast dropkick, pinning his father to win the match.

The eighth match, dubbed "TLC II", was the Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match for the Tag Team Championship between the Hardy Boyz, Bulletproof, Edge and Christian and the Dudley Boyz, the defending champions. Respective associates of three tag teams, Spike Dudley for the Dudley Boyz, Rhyno for Edge and Christian, and Lita for the Hardy Boyz, interfered during the match. With Spike (who had just taken a chair shot to the head from Lita) and Rhyno (who had already been dispatched by Jeff Hardy) both laying on two tables outside the ring, Jeff Hardy set up a huge ladder beside them and performed a Swanton Bomb onto them through the tables with most of his body landing on Spike, taking him out of the match. Lita was taken out of the match when Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley performed a 3-D on her. When Jeff tried to unhook the belts but had the ladder beneath him pulled away by Bubba Ray, leaving him hanging in the air, and allowing Edge to jump off another ladder and spear Jeff to the ground at a height of 12 feet. Bubba Ray and Matt Hardy climbed the same ladder but Rhyno tipped the ladder over, sending Bubba Ray and Matt through four stacked tables at ringside and taking them out of the match. Bloodwolf then set the ladder up again and attempted to grab the titles, but was held back by Edge. With Edge holding onto Bloodwolf's legs, Christian sat on Rhyno's shoulders as he climbed up the ladder and tried to unhook the belts but Jackal came out of nowhere with a Spear to Rhyno, allowing Bloodwolf to nail Edge with a Superkick. Bulletproof climbed the ladder and unhooked the titles to win their 5th WWF Tag Team title reign and their first victory in their first WrestleMania match.

The ninth match was a gimmick battle royal, involving nineteen WWF alumni famous for their outlandish gimmicks. To further increase the nostalgia, former announcers "Mean Gene" Okerlund and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan handled commentary for the match. The Iron Sheik won the match by throwing Hillbilly Jim out of the ring. In revenge for being eliminated, Sgt. Slaughter reentered the ring and put him in the Cobra Clutch.

The penultimate match was between The Undertaker and Triple H. For his entrance, Triple H had British heavy metal band Motörhead perform his theme song, "The Game", live. The match started with the two fighting outside of the ring with Triple H quickly being put through the replacement Spanish announcers' table. Later on, referee Mike Chioda accidentally had Triple H catapulted into him and was then attacked by Undertaker due to his dissatisfaction over a two-count. With Chioda knocked out, the two brawled outside the ring, through the crowd, and into the technical area. On top of scaffolding, Triple H used a steel chair to attack Undertaker's legs, but Undertaker retaliated with a chokeslam off the scaffolding, followed by a diving elbow drop. Back in the ring, Undertaker hit Triple H with a Tombstone piledriver and went for the pin but Chioda was still unconscious. Later in the match, Triple H tried to pin Undertaker after hitting him in the head with a sledgehammer while in the Last Ride position but only gained a two-count. Triple H sent Undertaker into the corner and stood on the second rope to hit him with more punches, but Undertaker countered with a Last Ride, allowing him to pin Triple H and increase his WrestleMania winning streak to 9–0.

Now it was time for the Main Event, the Winner Takes All match for the WWF Championship and WWF Intercontinental Championship.

"The time is upon us, Paul." JR said.

Heyman nodded. "The time is now. It's the match that both men need to win and neither man wants to lose."

"This will be one of the biggest and most important matches in WrestleMania history and, quite possibly, the greatest WrestleMania match in WWF history." JR said. "And for the first time since WrestleMania 6, both the Intercontinental and WWF Championships will be on the line in this winner take all match where there's no disqualification, anything goes between these two men with a historied rivalry that will go down as one of the greatest. They have everything to gain and everything to lose in this match and it all started at the Royal Rumble."

"My Way" by Limp Bizkit starts playing as Bladewolf eliminated Stone Cold Steve Austin from the Royal Rumble match to win it.

"Bladewolf is going to Wrestlemania!" JR said as footage of Bladewolf celebrating his victory is shown. "The Bladewolf will be in the Main Event at WrestleMania!"

Footage of Stone Cold Steve Austin winning the WWF Championship at No Way Out is shown.

"It's over. Stone Cold Steve Austin is the WWF champion! Stone Cold is going to WrestleMania!"

(Special)

"Sixty thousand in the Astrodome to see The Bladewolf and Stone Cold!"

(You think you're special, you do)

Austin comes to the ring and gets in the Bladewolf's face, the two men staring each other down.

(I can see it in your eyes)

Then footage shows of Bladewolf almost going for the Spear on Austin but didn't.

(I can see it when you laugh at me. Look down on me and walk around on me)

Debra is then shown.

"Mrs. Stone Cold Steve Austin." JR said.

Debra and Trish are shown in the ring before Vince, Stephanie, Triple H and Kurt Angle.

"Debra, officially as of now you are managing... the Bladewolf! Trish, you will be managing Stone Cold Steve Austin!" Vince announced.

Debra and Trish are shocked and clearly don't like this decision.

"Austin's wife is managing The Bladewolf and Trish is managing Stone Cold Steve Austin. What the hell is this?!" JR said as vince is shown with a sick smug look on his face.

"I never asked or wanted Debra to be my manager." Bladewolf said as he is shown in the sit-down interview with Austin. "That was all Vince's fault. But the fact is that it doesn't matter to me what happens to her cause she's not my wife, she's your wife, Austin."

Kurt Angle is then shown locking Debra in the Ankle lock.

"Angle's gonna break Debra's ankle for God's sakes!" JR shouted when Austin runs down and attacks Angle. "And there's the Rattlesnake!"

"You never, ever put your hands on another's man wife!" Heyman said. "Austin warned him!"

"Hey wait!" JR exclaimed as Austin nails the Stunner on the Bladewolf. "The Stunner!"

"Austin warned the Bladewolf, that if anything ever happened to Debra, it would be the Bladewolf's ass!" Heyman said.

"And I didn't ask for Trish to be my manager and I ain't responsible for what happens to her either, she's your responsibility." Austin told Bladewolf in the interview.

Trish is shown being attacked by Angle with a steel chair, leading to Bladewolf attacking Angle, followed by laying out Austin with the Fury of the Wolf

"Let's just go ahead and take Trish and Debra out of the question." Bladewolf said before snapping his fingers. "There. Non-factor. The fact is, Austin, you got the WWF title and I want it."

Bladewolf is shown hitting the Fury of the Wolf on Austin again.

"Now Stone Cold Steve Austin, I am not waiting until WrestleMania." Bladewolf's voice is heard as he is seen with a dark glare on his face. "Your bald headed, beer drinking soul belongs to me!"

Bladewolf hits the Stone Cold Stunner on Austin while he's drinking beer.

"Wait a minute!" JR exclaimed. "the Bladewolf just gave the Stone Cold Stunner to Stone Cold Steve Austin!"

"How personal can this get anymore between these two?!" Heyman shouted.

"Can you imagine what it's gonna be like between these two at WrestleMania?!"

Bladewolf and Austin are shown confronting each other on the final SmackDown before WrestleMania

(Just one more fight and I'll be history)

Austin shoves a beer can into Bladewolf's chest, followed by Austin smacking his beer can into Bladewolf's, sending beer everywhere, with Bladewolf doing the same to Austin's can of beer

(Yes I will straight up leave your shit and you'll be the one whose left, missing me)

Austin is looking away from Bladewolf who is glaring at him.

(Yeah!)

Austin and Bladewolf start fighting it out and Austin tackles Bladewolf

(This time I'ma let it all come out! This time I'ma stand up and shout! I'ma do things my way, it's my way. My way or the highway!)

Footage of their rivalry over the past few years is shown, including their fight at WrestleMania 14, Unforgiven 1998, SummerSlam 1999, SmackDown, RAW, then the promo shows them in victory after matches.

(This time I'ma let it all come out! This time I'ma stand up and shout! I'ma do things my way, it's my way. My way or the highway!)

Footage of their 2001 feud is shown, along with them winning titles over the years, and their fights in 1998 and 1999.

(Someday you'll see things my way 'Cause you never know, no, you never know When you're gonna go. Someday you'll see things my way 'Cause you never know, no, you never know)

"If I have to dig deep down inside my soul and bring out the demon wolf that I have kept locked away for so long, to face you at WrestleMania. Then so be it. Your time has passed, old man. At Wrestlemania, it'll be my time." Bladewolf says in the sit down interview with Austin.

"I need to beat you, Bladewolf." Austin said. "I need it more than anything that you can imagine. There can only be one undisputed World Wrestling Federation Champion and that will be, Bladewolf, Stone Cold Steve Austin. With all due respect."

Songs fades as the video ends with Bladewolf and Stone Cold Steve Austin going eye to eye in the ring

Off screen

"What a promo." Trish complimented as she and George were backstage, ready to get started. Bladewolf nodded before he flipped his hair back and made sure his gear was all set before he gave Trish a peck on the lips. "Good luck out there. Bring the house down."

"I will." George smirks before they go to get their entrance over with.

On screen

The camera crew catches Bladewolf and Trish making their way towards the Gorilla position.

In the arena, a hellish theme starts to play as the lights dim to the sinister blood red, casting a demonic and hellish vibe all over the arena. Guards come out onto the stage, holding torches, dressed in armour.

A black horse comes out onto the stage with Bladewolf and Trish on the saddle, Bladewolf donned in armour fit for battle and a wolf skull helmet. Trish donned in a queen of Hell dress that exposed a good amount of cleavage and had a slit on both sides that revealed her legs to the world.

Bladewolf gets off the horse and helps Trish down before they start making their way down to the ring with the guards forming a line behind them and following them. Bladewolf and Trish soon reach the ring and trish enters first, followed by Bladewolf. Bladewolf stands in the middle of the ring as Trish takes off his gar, revealing his ring gear underneath. Bladewolf then reaches up and removes the wolf skull to reveal his face-painted face with a dark glare on his face.

Bladewolf's ring gear is still the same, based off Sting's, but instead of two undertaker TX symbols on the sides this time, Bladewolf now has a large demon wolf on both sides.

Bladewolf raises his arms up then throws them down, causing lightning to hit the turnbuckles and fire explodes from them in the process as the lights return to normal and Bladewolf kicks the entrance gear out of the ring and paces back and fourth while waiting for Austin. Bladewolf is holding the Intercontinental Championship in hand as he paces.

Stone Cold Steve Austin's theme hits to a loud pop and out comes the WWF Champion who makes his entrance down the long ramp and makes it to the ring, going to all four corners and doing his pose with the title before he gets down and stands in the corner across from Bladewolf as his theme dies down.

Howard Finkel begins introductions. "Ladies and Gentlemen, it is now time for the main event of WrestleMania. The following contest is a winner take all title for title and in this contest, there will be no Disqualification. Introducing first the challenger, from Death Valley, weighing 310 pounds, he is the World Wrestling federation Intercontinental Champion... THE BLADEWOLF!"

Bladewolf raises the Intercontinental Championship as the crowd cheers for him. Bladewolf then hands the title to the referee.

"And from Victoria, TX, weighing 252 pounds, The World Wrestling Federation Champion... STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN!" Austin raises the WWF Championship to a pop from the fans before he hands it to the referee and takes off his vest.

The referee holds both titles up, showing they are on the line and what's at stake here. The referee then hands the title to someone at ringside as Trish gets out at ringside. Bladewolf and Austin have NOT taken their eyes off each other.

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

"And here we go." JR said after the bell is rung. "The biggest match is WrestleMania history is underway."

Bladewolf and Austin walk forward and go eye to eye, butting foreheads while mouthing off to each other. Austin then gave Bladewolf the middle finger before he throws the first punch, knocking Bladewolf back, but Bladewolf was quick to retaliate.

"And it's on!" JR exclaimed over the loud cheers as Bladewolf and Austin continue to have a fist-for-fist fight with each other.

"it's all coming ahead, JR!" Heyman shouted. "These two have been waiting for this! For weeks, they've wanted to beat the hell out of each other and tonight they are getting that chance in front of the whole world!"

"Austin and Bladewolf have a historied rivalry with each other that began all the way back to WrestleMania 14 when they met for the title in a Triple Threat match with Shawn Michaels, a match the Bladewolf won to win his first WWF title at a young age." JR said.

Bladewolf tackles Austin down and hammers away on him with right hands until Austin rolls them over and dishes out the same punishment and they roll over, just punching the hell out of each other before they back off from each other and get to their feet, circling each other.

"They have not taken their eyes off each other for even a second." JR said. "This means so much to the two of them. The Bladewolf won the Royal Rumble to get this opportunity, he is looking to win his 4th WWF Championship tonight and remain intercontinental Champion, a title he has held since SummerSlam, for 217 days, he's been Intercontinental Champion and he may walk away tonight with even more gold on his shoulder."

Bladewolf and Austin lock up and have a test of strength with each other but Austin manages to shove Bladewolf into the corner, runs and unloads with a fury of right hands to the face of the Wolf of Darkness and Destruction. Bladewolf kicks Austin in the stomach and goes for an irish whip but Austin reverses it and Bladewolf rebounds off the ropes, ducks a right from Austin, rebounds off the ropes again and takes Austin down with a leaping clothesline.

"Nice leaping clothesline there by Bladewolf." JR complimented.

Austin gets to his feet as Bladewolf rebounds off the ropes for a clothesline but Austin runs and ... TAKES HIM DOWN WITH A LOU THEZ PREZ!

"Lou Thez Prez!" JR exclaimed. "Austin with the right hands right to the jaw of the Intercontinental Champion!"

Austin gets to his feet, rebounds off the ropes and nails the Eldow Drop to the chest of the Bladewolf, and does it a couple of more times,

"Austin wants to put away the Bladewolf early here." JR said.

"Early advantage goes to Stone Cold Steve Austin." Heyman said.

Bladewolf gets to his feet and ducks a right from Austin, who turns around... INTO A GOOZLE!

"Bladewokf's caught Austin by the thraot!" JR exclaimed over the cheers. "Looking to put Austin away early with the Chokeslam!"

Bladewolf lifts Austin up but Austin gets out of Bladewolf's grip, whips him around and boots him in the stomach, looking for the Stone Cold Stunner but Bladewolf shoves him into the corner.

"Austin looking for the Stunner there but Bladewolf countered it." JR said.

"This is how much these two want to win, JR." Heyman said. "They are willing to hit their big moves this early! That's how much this match and victory means to them!"

Austin turns around only to be kicked in the stomach by Bladewolf who looks to hit the Stunner but Austin reverses it and tosses Bladewolf over the top rope, sending Bladewolf to the floor.

"Bladewolf went for the Stunner there like he did on Monday Night, but Austin sent the Bladewolf out of the ring." JR said as Austin rolls out the ring after the Bladewolf.

Austin pulls Bladewolf to his feet before landing a right hand that knocks Bladewolf onto the announce table but the Intercontinental Champion pushed Austin back into the ring apron with his feet, and slides off the table but Austin was on the attack right away as he hammers away on Bladewolf who fights back with right hands of his own, the two nearing the barricade. Austin lands a right hand that knocks Bladewolf over the barricade and the fight has now spilled into the crowd.

"Bladewolf knocked over the railing and the fight has now been taken into the crowd." JR said.

Austin climbs over the barricade and follows Bladewolf, landing a forearm across the back of the Demon Wolf as security keeps the fans back from getting involved or struck by one of the wrestlers. Bladewolf blocks a right from Austin and uppercuts the Texas Rattlesnake, knocking Austin onto the chairs, to which Bladewolf hammers away on Austin with a fury of right hands.

"And here comes the Intercontinental Champion, hammering away on the WWF Champion." Heyman said. "this match is too big for these two to be restricted by rules and laws. I'm glad it's No DQ, No Holds Barred."

Bladewolf brings Austin to the barricade and tosses him over it before he climbs over the barricade after Austin. Bladewolf brings Austin over to the announce table and rams Austin's head off the table.

"Now they're right in front of us." JR said as he and Heyman stand to stay out of the way. Bladewolf grabs Austin and slams his head off the table again. "And again."

Bladewolf goes for an Irish whip but Austin reverses it but Bladewolf halts himself from moving only for Austin to clothesline him down. Austin stomps away on the Bladewolf multiple times, leaning him against the announce table and continues to do so as Bladewolf throws his fists up to defend himself before he lands a punch to Austin's stomach, knocking the rattlesnake back. Austin stomps on Bladewofl again before picking him up and tossing him back into the ring and slides in after him.

"Now we're back in the ring." JR noted. "Again, its No Holds Barred."

Austin gives some more stomps to the Bladewolf before he leans Bladewolf on the middle rope and presses down on him, choking the Bladewolf on the middle rope. Austin releases before he runs, rebounds off the ropes and comes running back to drive his knee into the back of the Bladewolf while he's still on the middle rope. Austin then hooks the leg.

"One!"

"Two!"

"Thr-!"

Bladewolf kicks out at two.

"Kick out by Bladewolf." JR said.

"Stone Cold is not in that ring with just anybody, he's in there with the Demon Wolf of Darkness and Destruction, JR." Heyman said.

Austin pulls Bladewolf to his feet and lifts him up, setting him onto the top turnbuckle before he gets onto the middle turnbuckle and starts setting up for the Superplex. Austin has him... AND HITS THE SUPERPLEX OFF THE CORNER!

"What a Superplex!" JR said as Austin crawls over for the pin. "Austin now looking for the cover!"

"One!"

"Two!"

"Thre-!"

Bladewolf kicks out at two.

"Another near fall." JR said

"And Stone Cold Steve Austin is right back to his feet." Heyman noted. "I cannot understand just how badly he wants this victory."

Austin walks over to the corner and undoes the turnbuckle padding to reveal the metal underneath. Austin then turns and walks back over to Bladewolf who is getting to a knee but Austin kicks him in the head, then starts slowly pulling him to his feet before he rears bacl for a hard right but Bladewolf blocks it and lands a hard uppercut that echos.

"Wow!" Heyman exclaimed.

"I felt that!" JR nodded.

Austin holds his chin before he turns around into a right hand from Bladewolf who makes it to his feet, now landing more right hands to the Texas Rattlesnake as the crowd cheers a bit, getting behind the Intercontinental Champion.

"And now the Bladewolf fighting back." JR said. "The Demon Wolf, resilient when it comes to what he wants. He'll go to any lengths to get it!"

"And Austin will go to any lengths to keep that title of his." Heyman pointed out.

Bladewolf Irish whips Austin into the corner, runs and nails the turnbuckle clothesline, then scoops Austin onto his right shoulder... AND HITS SNAKE EYES! Bladewolf scoops Austin up again onto his right shoulder before running... AND NAILS THE RUNNING POWERSLAM!

"Running Powerslam!" JR exclaimed as Bladewolf hooks the leg. "The cover!"

"One!"

"Two!"

"Thr-!"

Austin kicks out at two.

"Austin kicked out at two." JR said.

Austin stumbles to his feet and leans on the ropes, which makes Bladewolf run and clothesline him over the top rope, sending Austin to the floor. Bladewolf leans on the ropes before he flips his hair back and exits the ring and watches Austin before he grabs Austin and launches him into the barricade, then he drags Austin over to the announce table and rams Austin's head off the table ebfore tossing him into the timekeeper's area.

The referee, Earl Hebner, tires to tell Bladewolf to ease off Austin but Bladewolf whirls on Hebner who falls back over the steel steps in surprise. Bladewolf tilts his head befor ehe turns around... ONLY TO BE STRUCK IN THE FACE BY THE RING BELL THANKS TO AUSTIN!

"Oh! What a shot!" JR exclaimed. "Austin with the ring bell to the face of the Bladewolf!"

"I cannot believe just how physical this has gotten." Heyman said as Austin shoves the timekeeper aside for getting in his way. "You cannot reason with a rattlesnake."

Austin grabs Bladewolf and lands a right hand to the forehead of the Bladewolf, knocking the Intercontinental Champion against the ring apron and Austin continues his assault, landing right hands to the forehead of the Bladewolf, then rams his head off the steel steps.

"Oh! What impact." JR said.

Bladewolf falls against the announce table and Austin grabs his hair before ramming Bladewolf's head off the announce table, sending Bladewolf to a knee as his head was already hurt from the ring bell to the skull. Austin backs up before he clotheslines Bladewolf onto the announce table, which caved in and collapsed under Bladewolf.

"Now our table's been destroyed." JR said as he and Heyman move out the way to avoid getting dragged into the fight.

Austin grabs Bladewolf and lands several more punches to the forehead of the Bladewolf before he shoves hima side, picks up the ring bell... AND CLOBBERS BLADEWOLF IN THE FOREHEAD AGAIN!

"And another shot with the ring bell!" JR exclaimed.

"Damn!" Heyman added.

Bladewolf shakes his head and flips his hair back... TO REVEAL A CUT ON HIS FORHEAD! HE IS BUSTED OPEN!

"Bladewolf is bleeding!" JR exclaimed. "Bladewolf is busted wide open!"

Austin grabs Bladewolf and tosses him back into the ring, slides in after him, and stomps away on the Intercontinental Champion before pulling him to his feet and lands a right, causing Bladewolf to stumble and fall against the ropes as he is weakly holding his fists up in a boxer's stance, but the blood loss is starting to affect him as he throws a punch that misses Austin, who kicks him in the ribs then clobbers Bladewolf over the back of the head.

"This match is firmly in Austin's control." Heyman said. "Bladewolf is gushing with blood from that cut and the blood loss is going to affect him!"

Austin grabs Bladewolf and starts hammering away at the cut on Bladewolf's forehead, the blood mixing with Bladewolf's face paint. Austin then drags Bladewolf over to the exposed turnbuckle from earlier... AND RAMS BLADEWOLF'S HEAD RIGHT OFF THE EXPOSED TURNBUCKLE! Bladewolf falls in the corner and Austin stomps away on him before he shoves his knee down on Bladewolf's neck, causing the referee to step in and order Austin to ease up, causing Austin to whirl on the referee.

"Now Austin confronting the referee." JR said.

"Nothing he can do, it's No holds Barred." Heyman pointed out.

Austin turned around... INTO A SPEAR FROM BLADEWOLF!

"Bladewolf with a Spear!" JR exclaimed as the crowd gives a mixed reaction. "Bladewolf exploded right out of the corner with a Spear!"

Bladewolf rolls off Austin and is weakly fighting to his feet as he crawls towards the ropes and grabs the middle one, pulling himself to his feet and he runs a hand down his face and looks at the blood on his glove. The face paint starting to break off while mixing with the blood. Bladewolf flips his hair back and adjusts his elbow pads before he leans on the ropes then pushes off and tackles Austin into the corner, driving his shoulder repeatedly into Austin's stomach before he unloads with a fury of punches, lefts and rights, all over Austin's upper body, forcing the WWF Champion to try and cover up as quick as he can but Bladewolf lands a hard left, then a hard uppercut that knocks Austin off his feet briefly.

"What an uppercut!" JR said. "Bladewolf is getting control of the match back in his favour."

"And that is when he gets dangerous." Heyman nodded. "And think of how dangerous he is when he will go to any lengths in this match to win, to become a 4-time WWF Champion!"

Bladewolf grabs Austin by the back of his head... AND RAMS HIS HEAD OFF THE EXPOSED TURNBUCKLE!

"Oh!" JR exclaimed. "Bladewolf with some payback! using that exposed turnbuckle like Austin did on him!"

Bladewolf flips his hair back befor ehe leaves the ring and looks around before walking over to the timekeeper's area and picks up the ring bell with a look in his eyes.

"Oh no." heyman said.

"Bladewolf going to use that ring bell, like Austin sued on him to bust Bladewolf open." JR said.

Bladewolf rolls back into the ring with the ring bell in hand and he waits, watching Austin closely as the WWF Champion pulls himself to his feet and turns around... ONLY TO BE CLOBBERED IN THE FORHEAD WITH THE RING BELL BY THE BLADEWOLF!

"Boom!" JR exclaimed. "The Bladewolf with the ring bell! taking Austin down!"

Austin... IS BUSTED WIDE OPEN! HE IS BLEEDING!

Bladewolf gets to his knees, crawls over and hooks the leg! ONE! TWO! THRE-! AUSTIN KICKS OUT!

"It's not over!" JR shouted. "It's not over!"

"So close yet so far!" Heyman said.

Bladewolf gets to his feet and flips his hair back, leaning on the ropes befor ehe looks back to see Austin fighting to his feet, using the ropes to pull himself to his feet. Bladewolf walks over as Austin turns around and lands a right hand to the bleeding cut of Austin, then another right hand, then another right hand. Bladewolf hits another right that knocks Austin down against the ropes, but Bladewolf shoved Austin to the mat and rolled out the ring, draping Austin on his back over the ring apron.

"What's he doing here?" Heyman wodnered.

Bladewolf gets onto the ring apron and looks down at Austin before he jumps... AND LANDS A LEG DROP ON AUSTIN'S THROAT!

"Oh!" JR exclaimed. "That's something Bladewolf's brother , the Undertaker, does. Bladewolf taking a page out of the Deadman's book."

"I told you, JR." Heyman said. "Bladewolf is going to do anything to hurt Austin, he will do anything that keeps Austin down and gets him closer to victory! He is willing to use his brother's move to get that!"

Austin falls out onto the floor and Bladewolf walks over, grabbing the WWF Champion before ramming him into the barricade. Bladewolf lands right hand after right hand to Austin before grabbing him and tries to ram his head into the barricade but Austin manages to use his hands to stop that from happening, then elbows Bladewolf in the ribs before he slams Bladewolf's forehead into the barricade.

"Austin fighting back!" JR exclaimed. "My God, these two men just won't quit! They want to beat the hell out of each other! They want to walk away a duel Champion tonight!"

"Austin has Bladewolf just where he want Bladewolf." Heyman said.

Austin grabs Bladewolf's legs and holds them befor ehe falls back... AND CATAPULTS THE BLADEWOLF INTO THE RING POST HEADFIRST!

"Oh God!" JR exclaimed. "What impact ! Bladewolf went headfirst into the ring post!"

Austin gets to his feet and grabs one of the TV minitors from the announce table and waits, watching Bladewolf weakly stumble to his feet. Bladewolf leans on the ring apron for several seconds before he pushes himself to his feet and turns around... ONLY TO BE SMASHED IN THE FACE BY A TV MONITOR AT AUSTIN'S HANDS! Austin tosses the monitor aside and stomps on Bladewolf before tossing him into the ring, slides in after him and hooks the leg. ONE! TWO! THRE-! NO! BLADEWOLF KICKS OUT!

"Bladewolf kicked out!" JR exclaimed. "I think even Austin can't believe it!"

"Bladewolf has not lost any WrestleMania he's been at so far." Heyman reminded. "From WrestleMania 14 to now, he's had 3 straight victories in a row and looks for his 4th tonight along with his 4th WWF Championship."

Austin helps Bladewolf to his feet somehwat and bends down to look him in the eye before giving him the double middle finger then goes for the Stunner but Bladewolf caught his leg, trips Austin up, turns him over... AND LOCKS IN THE WOLFSBANE! (AN: Wolfsbane is the Scorpion Death Lock)

"Wolfbane!" JR exclaimed. "The Wolfsbane is locked in! Will Austin tap out here?!"

Austin is yelling in pain as Bladewolf clenches the hold in tight and yells for Austin to tap but Austin is refusing to do so as he shakes his head.

"Shades of Austin vs Bret Hart at WrestleMania 13!" JR said.

Austin, with all the strength he had, pushed himself towards the ropes and reaches for it but the pain made his arm drop as Bladewolf kept it up. Austin reaches for the ropes... BUT BLADEWOLF DRAGS HIM AWAY WHILE KEEPING THE SUBMISSION HOLD LOCKED IN!

"Austin is fighting! He is scratching and clawing for the ropes!" JR exclaimed.

"Bladewolf is not gonna let that happen!" Heyman said.

Austin crawls... AND MANAGES TO GRAB THE ROPES!

"Austin gets to the ropes!" JR said as the referee tells Bladewolf who reluctantly releases Austin. "The Bladewolf having to release the Submission but the damage ha damn sure been done."

Bladewolf leans on the ropes as Austin recovers from the submission hold. Bladewolf flips his hair back before he walks over to Austin, drags him and looks to lock in the Wolfsnbane again but he badmouths Austin who responds by raking Bladewolf's eyes. Austin trips Bladewolf up, locks his legs... AND LOCKS IN THE SHARPSHOOTER ON THE BLADEWOLF!

"Bladewolf now in the Sharpshooter!" JR exclaimed. "The titles hang in the balance here!"

Bladewolf yells in pain as he reaches out for the ropes but clenches his fist as he refuses to tap out no matter what. Trish is slapping the mat to try and will him back into this. Bladewolf takes deep breaths through the pain before he uses his legs to throw Austin off and release the hold. Austin got to his feet and went to work on Bladewolf's legs, stomping away on them and bringing his elbows down on the knees and ankles, doing everything he can to damage Bladewolf further. Austin locks in the Sharpshooter again, but Bladewolf manages to flip Austin over and off him, breaking the hold.

"This match has been physical." JR said. "it has taken a lot out of these two great athletes. They will not quit! They desire victory! they desire Championship gold!"

Bladewolf stumbles to his feet, slapping his legs to numb the pain but he fails to notice Austin creeping up from behind... UNTIL AUSTIN HAS LOCKED IN THE MILLION DOLLAR DREAM SUBMISSION HOLD!

"Austin!" JR said. "With the Million Dollar Dream! He hasn't done that since he was the Ringmaster!"

"What won't Steve Austin do to keep the WWF Championship?!" Heyman wondered.

Bladewolf is unable to fight back and starts to fade, falling to a knee and goes limp. The referee checks on him and raises Bladewolf's roght arm and it drops.

"One!" The referee called. If the arm drops two more times, then Bladewolf has passed out and will lose the match.

"Bladewolf has faded." JR said as the referee raises his arm again. "He is not moving!"

The referee drops the arm and it falls limply again. "Two!"

"it's almost over!" JR said.

The referee raises the arm and releases... BUT IT REMAINS WHERE IT IS! Bladewolf starts fighting back as he starts fighting out of Austin's hold.

"The Bladewolf will not go quietly!" JR said.

Bladewolf moves so Austin's back is facing the corner then runs backwards and drives Austin into the corner, forcing Austin to release him. Bladewolf turns and slaos Austin across the face, ducks a right, wraps his arms around Austin;s waist and hits a release German Suplex across the ring.

"German Suplex!" JR exclaimed.

Bladewolf get to his feet, walks over, grabs Austin and hits another release German Suplex. Bladewolf gets to his feet, grabs Austin and hits a third release German Suplex, then hits another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another.

Bladewolf gets to his feet but ends up falling down, exhausted. He uses the ropes to pull himself to his feet, flips his hair back and pulls the straps of his attire down to his waist and wipes off any blood remaining on his face and drags it across his chest. Bladewolf watches Austin who is weak and woozy from the German Suplex but is making it back to his feet. Austin turns and lands a right hand on Bladewolf, who lnads one of his own, but Austin hits another, then another, then goes for another but Bladewolf ducks it, kicks Austin in the stomach... AND HITS THE STONE COLD STUNNER!

"The Bladewolf scores with the Stunner on Austin!" JR exclaimed,

"But can the Bladewolf follow up?" Heyman questioned. "Both men look spent! they look exhausted! I'm surprised Bladewolf had the strength to hit those multiple German Suplexes."

Bladewolf cralws over and weakly hooks Austin's leg! ONE! TWO! THRE-! AUSTIN KICKS OUT!

"No! Austin kicks out!" JR exclaimed over the cheering. "It's not over! it's not over!"

Both men are clearly out of gas as they lay limp in the ring. Suddenly the fans boo when they see Vince McMahon coming down the ramp towards the ring, dressed in his street fight clothes from his match earlier tonight with Shane.

"What the hells' he doing out here?" JR questioned.

"The man has a billion dollar investment in this." Heyman said. "He wants to get closer to the action!"

"McMahon has no love lost for either Bladewolf or Austin." JR said as Vince walks around to ringside, sitting on a chair near the broken commentary table.

Bladewolf and Austin fight to their feet and start slugging it out with right hands to each other before Bladewolf runs, rebounds off the ropes and comes running back... INTO A SPINEBUSTER BY AUSTIN! AUSTIN HOOKS THE LEGS! ONE! TWO! THRE-! BLADEWOLF KICKS OUT AT TWO!

"Bladewolf kicks out again!" JR exclaimed.

Austin slaps the mat in frustration that he hasn't won yet. Austin gets to his feet and grabs Bladewolf and goes for an irish whip clothesline but Bladewolf ducks it and Austin turns... INTO A GOOZLE!

"Bladewolf's got Austin!" JR shouted. "Austin may be going for a ride!"

Bladewolf lifts Austin up... AND PLANTS HIM WITH A CHOKESLAM!

"Chokeslam!" JR exclaimed. "Chokeslam! Chokeslam!"

Bladewolf falls onto his backside, spent, but he makes it back to his feet and flips his hair back as he gestures for Austin to get up and Austin weakly does so and Bladewolf scoops him up into a Fireman;s Carry... AND HITS THE FURY OF THE WOLF! HE HOOKS THE LEGS! ONE! TWO! THRE-! VINCE BREAKS IT UP WITHA CHAIR SHOT TO BLADEWOLF'S BACK!

"What the hell?!" JR shouted.

Bladewolf whips his head around to glare at the now wide-eyed Vince. Bladewolf gets to his feet before he chases Vince out of the ring and around it, Trish getting out of the way to avoid any damage to her. Bladewolf continues to chase Vince around the ring until Vince slides into the ring and Bladewolf slides in after him... BUT IS HIT WITH A SPEAR BY AUSTIN!

"Spear by Austin!" JR exclaimed. "Spear by Austin!"

Austin crawls over and hooks the legs! ONE! TWO! THRE-! NO! BLADEWOLF KICKS OUT AGAIN!

"Kick out again!" JR exclaimed. "The Bladewolf will NOT give up soe asily!"

"Austin wants victory so bad he went straight for Bladewolf instead of Vince McMahon!" Heyman said.

Austin pulls Bladewolf to his feet and boots him in the stomach, going for the Stunner but Bladewolf shoves him forward... INTO THE REFEREE! The referee ends up outside the ring after Austin collides with him. Bladewolf walks over, grabs Austin... WHO NAILS A LOW BLOW!

Austin gets to his feet, looks at Vince and points to a steel chair which Vince ws quick to grab.

"What's this?" JR frowns. "Austin just told Vince McMahon to give him a chair."

Vince enters the ring and Austin grabs Bladewolf, holding him up for Vince to smack. Vince rears the chair back... AND STRIKES BLADEWOLF IN THE FORHEAD WITH IT!

"What the hell is going on?!" JR demanded as the crowd booed while Austin hooks Bladewolf's legs and Vince gets the referee back into the ring.

The referee crawls over and counts. "One!... Two!...THRE-!"

BLADEWOLF KICKS OUT AGAIN!

"Bladewolf kicked out!" JR shouted like he couldn't believe it as Austin was irate, slapping the mat in frustration.

Austin picks up the steel chair and waits for Bladewolf to get to his feet before he rears back but Bladewolf ducks the chair and grabs Austin by the throat, lifts him up... AND PLANTS HIM WITH A SECOND CHOKESLAM!

"Chokeslam!" JR exclaimed.

Vince gets on the apron and argues with the referee, which leads to Trish walking around to yank Vince off the apron and... SHE SLAPS VINCE!

"Woah!" Heyman exclaimed with wide eyes.

"Trish Stratus just slapped Vince McMahon!" JR said with wide eyes as well.

Vince looks at Trish in anger and walks menacingly towards her when the Bladewolf rolls out the ring in between them and Vince's anger fades straight to panic as his eyes go wide. Bladewolf grabs Vince and tosses him into the ring, Bladewolf sliding in after him. Bladewolf corners Vince in the corner and delivers an uppercut to the Chairman to loud cheers from the fans as Bladewolf starts beating down the boss, punching away at him.

"Now Bladewolf is just beating the hell out of Vince McMahon!" JR said.

Bladewolf then turns around... INTO A STONE COLD STUNNER FROM AUSTIN! AUSTIN HOOKS THE LEG! ONE! TWO! THRE-! BLADEWOLF KICKS OUT AGAIN!

"I can't believe it!" JR exclaimed. "The Bladewolf kicked out of the Stunner!"

Vince picks up the steel chair and hands it to Austin to boos from the fans. The Bladewolf gets to his feet and turns around... INTO A CHAIR SHOT RIGHT OFF THE SKULL! Austin drops the chair and hooks the legs! ONE! TWO! THRE-! NO! BLADEWOLF MANAGES TO KICK OUT CLOSE TO THREE!

"Good God this match continues!" JR shouted. "Bladewolf refuses to go down like this! He refuses to lose like this!"

Austin gets to his feet and grabs the steel chair, walks around the downed Bladewolf who is trying to get back into this despite the chair shot right off his skull. Bladewolf gets onto his knees, blood pouring down his face as Austin lifts his chain to make Bladewolf lock eyes with him and Austin badmouths Bladewolf who shoves him back then give shim the double middle finger to a loud pop from the fans.

"Bladewolf letting Austin know how he feels!" JR shouted.

Austin smirks in a sinister way as Trish slides into the ring to stop this but Vince holds her back. Austin points the chair at her and shouts at her before he starts smacking the chair off Bladewolf again and again and again, refusing to stop until he is sure the Bladewolf is down and unmoving.

"For God's sake! Enough!" JR shouted.

Austin raises the chair one final time... AND BRINGS IT DOWN ON BLADEWOLF'S HEAD! Austin tosses the chair aside and covers Bladewolf! ONE! TWO! THRE-! NO! BLADEWOLF STILL MANAGES TO KICK OUT!

"WHAT?!" JR shouted.

"How did he do that?!" Heyman asked with wide eyes. "That man is NOT human! No human being could kick out after all of that!"

trish takes the chance to get out of Vince's hold... AND LOW BLOWS HIM! Trish slaps Vince and shoves him off her, shouting down at him before she turns around... INTO A STONE COLD STUNNER FROM AUSTIN! Austin shouts down at her before he turns around... JUST AS THE BLADEWOLF SITS UP!

Bladewolf had seen what Austin did as he looks back and fourth between Austin and Trish and he. Looks. PISSED! Bladewolf tackles Austin down and furiously hammers away on Austin. Bladewolf gets to his feet and stomps away on Austin before he grabs Austin, rebounds him off the ropes... AND NAILS A SPEAR! But Bladewolf wasn't done as he gets to his feet, grabs Austin again, holds him by the throat before lifting him up... AND PLANTS HIM WITH A THIRD CHOKESLAM! Bladewolf still wasn't done as he grabs Austin, lifts him upside down in front of him and holds him... BEFORE HE HITS A JUMPING TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER! But Bladewolf STILL wasn't done there as he grabs Austin once again, lifts him into the Vertical Suplex position... AND HITS THE WOLF'S FANG! But Bladewolf STILL wasn't done as he grabs Austin, lifts him onto his shoulders... AND HITS THE WOLF'S HOWL!

Bladewolf grabs the steel chair and... SMASHES IT ON AUSTIN'S BODY! Bladewolf mercilessly attacks Austin with the steel chair, even bashing in Austin's head with the chair before he tosses the chair aside, grabs Austin, scoops him onto his shoulder... AND HITS THE FURY OF THE WOLF! BLADEWOLF HOOKS THE LEGS! ONE! TWO! THREE! WE HAVE A NEW CHAMPION!

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

Dead Silent plays as Bladewolf gets to his feet. "here is your winner and the NEW! World Wrestling Federation Champion and STILL Intercontinental Champion... THE BLADEWOLF!" Howard Finkel announced.

Bladewolf is handed both the Intercontinental and WWF Championships and he raises them as the crowd roars in cheers. He turns around into a huge hug from Trish who kisses him and he hugs her close, dropping the titles to hold her close to him. Trish picks up the titles and raises them with him. Bladewolf hands her the titles and then lifts her onto his shoulder as Trish shows the titles off. Fireworks and confetti popping everywhere. WrestleMania 17 goes off the air with Bladewolf as the winner in this Winner Takes All match...

And that's it for this chapter! Bladewolf won it and is now WWF Champion and still Intercontinental Champion. He is now a 4-time WWF Champion and what a place to win the fourth title than at WrestleMania 17 in one of the biggest Heel turns of the Attitude era. Damn this chapter was long, I'll say that for damn sure. Hell, so was the match but I want to thank JDTank75 for helping me with the match and the ending, so huge shoutout to him.

Bio: At a young age, George watched WWE and dreamed of being a WWE Superstar. When he was in his teens, he trained to be a wrestler, soon ending up with a gimmick, a name, and working at small wrestling shows under the name 'The Bladewolf'. In August 1997, he was approached by Jim Ross about a contract with the WWF and George accepted. He debuted at SummerSlam as a Heel, defeating Tiger Ali Singh. His heel run would be cemented as he would brutally beat up superstars, Face or Heel. Over the next several weeks, Bladewolf would defeat all his opponents and would never say a word, taking on a silent Michael Myers gimmick.

His first big match was at Ground Zero: In Your House when he faced Bret hart for the WWF Championship, but got himself disqualified after striking Hart with a weapon.

Afterwards, Bladewolf began a feud with D-Generation X member Triple H, leading to a No Holds Barred match between the two at Survivor Series, which Bladewolf won. After this, Bladewolf was involved in the storyline between Kane and the Undertaker, where it was revealed that Bladewolf was in fact the younger brother of Kane and the Undertaker. After this reveal, Bladewolf joined the Undertaker, turning Face.

As 1997 reached an end, Bladewolf showed a desire to be WWF Champion and on the final RAW of 1997 he faced Shawn Michaels for the title but won by DQ, but Michaels retaiend due to titles not changing hands by a DQ.

Bladewolf competed in the 1998 Royal Rumble, eliminating 8 superstars and came down to the final two with Stone Cold Steve Austin, but was eliminated. Despite this, Bladewolf still desired a shot at the WWF Championship and was given the chance to be added to the Main Event at WrestleMania 14 when Vince McMahon put him into a tag team match against Vader and Marc Mero with his brother Kane being his partner. For the first time, the two brothers teamed up and showed dominance throughout most of the match and won the match, giving Bladewolf his shot at the title.

At WrestleMania 14, Bladewolf defeated Shawn Michaels and Stone Cold to win his first WWF Championship and making history by becoming the youngest Champion ever at the age of 21.

After WrestleMania, Bladewolf feuded with Stone Cold Steve Austin while also remaining part of the Kane/Undertaker feud. At Unforgiven, Stone Cold Steve Austin defeated the Bladewolf for the WWF Championship, ending Bladewolf's first reign at 28 days. The following night on RAW is WAR, Vince McMahon refused to grant Bladewolf a rematch for the WWF Championship, leading to Bladewolf causing destruction throughout the night and over the next several weeks.

Eventually, on the May 18th episode of RAW is WAR, Vince McMahon gave Bladewolf a shot at the WWF Intercontinental Championship, which he won later that night by defeating the Rock, who he also defeated in a rematch at Over the Edge.

After Over the Edge, Bladewolf competed in the 1998 King of the Ring tournament and advanced to the finals at the King of the Ring PPV where he defeated Ken Shamrock in the semi-finals, then defeated the Rock in the finals to become the 1998 King of the Ring.

After this, Bladewolf became involved with Kane and the Undertaker as they united to form the Brothers of Destruction leading up to SummerSlam. They began to feud with Stone Cold Steve Austin and the WWF Championship. At SummerSlam, Bladewolf retained his WWF Intercontinental Championship in a Triple Threat ladder match against Triple H and the Rock. After SummerSlam, Vince McMahon announced a Fatal 4-Way match for WWF Breakdown. It would be Undertaker vs Kane vs Bladewolf vs Stone Cold Steve Austin for the WWF Championship, howevere the Brothers of Destruction were prohibited from pinning each other and could only pin Austin in the match.

At WWF Breakdown, Undertaker and Kane pinned Austin at the same time and the title was vacated soon after. During the match, George had suffered an injury that he would need a few months off to recover from, so Vince McMahon, in storyline, suspended Bladewolf for the rest of 1998 and stripped Bladewolf of the WWF Intercontinental Championship, ending Bladewolf's first Intercontinental Championship reign at 133 days.

Bladewolf returned to WWF on the first RAW of 1999, attacking Ken Shamrock and Steve Blackman. Bladewolf later attacked the rest of the Corporation that night and gave Vince McMahon a Tombstone in the middle of the ring.

On the RAW after the Royal Rumble, Bladewolf saved Kane from apologizing to Shane McMahon and the two brothers reunited to reform the Brothers of Destruction with just themselves. They defeated Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett at St. Valentine's Day massacre to become the new WWF Tag Team Champions. They defeated the former Champions in a rematch at WrestleMania 15.

After WrestleMania 15, Bladewolf and Kane would dominate the tag team division and remain undefeated as they defeated any tag team that came in front of them and retained their titles against all challengers. In the middle of May, Bladewolf began to pursue the WWF Championship that was being sought after by Stone Cold Steve Austin and the Undertaker.

On the July 7th episode of RAW is WAR, the Bladewolf and Kane lost the WWF Tag Team Championships to the Hardy Boyz, ending their reign at 141 days. After this, Bladewolf continued his pursuit on the WWF Championship.

On the RAW after Fully Loaded 1999, Stone Cold Steve Austin granted Bladewolf the rematch from Unforgiven 1998 and the two battled for the WWF Championship in the Main Event of that RAW. There was interference from Triple H and the Rock, then Undertaker and Kane, who had turned Heel and reunited with Undertaker earlier that night, came out and seemingly looked to assault Bladewolf when suddenly all three brothers attacked Austin, turning Bladewolf Heel for the first time since 1997. Afterwards, Bladewolf defeated Austin to win his 2nd WWF Championship.

The Brothers of Destruction reunited in full force with Paul Bearer at their side, and they proclaimed they were taking over the WWF. At SummerSlam, Bladewolf faced Stone Cold Steve Austin and Triple H in a triple Threat match for the WWF Championship and retained the title. Bladewolf retained the title once again the following night on RAW against Triple H. Over the next several weeks, Bladewolf would defend his title and successfully retain against whoever challenged him.

At Unforgiven, Triple H won a six-pack challenge in order to be the #1 Contender for the WWF Championship, continuing their rivalry. Bladewolf also feuded with the Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin, who he defeated for the title at No Mercy. Between October and November, Bladewolf became more of a Tweener before fully turning Face.

The feud between Bladewolf, Austin, the Rock and Triple H led to a Fatal -Way match at Survivor Series, but Austin was taken out of the match after being run over by a car and so Austin was replaced by Big Show, but Bladewolf still retained the title.

Bladewolf's feud with Triple H continued into 200 as the battled several times.

At the 2000 Royal Rumble, Bladewolf faced Cactus Jack in a Street Fight, to which he emerged victorious and retained the WWF Championship. At WrestleMania 16, Bldewolf defeated the Rock to retain the WWF Championship. The next night on RAW, Bladewolf faced Triple H for the WWF Championship and lost the match after triple H bashed Bladewolf in the face with the WWF Championship, ending Bladewolf's reign at 252 days. Afterwards, Triple H and DX attacked Bladewolf and tore his mask off before setting it on fire.

At Backlash, vignettes would start to play, showing a forest and abandoned warehouse, ending with 'The End is coming'. These vignettes led to the reveal of the one behind them, as Bladewolf returned the RAW after Judgment Day to save the Rock, no mask, face painted face inspired by Sting's Crow face-paint, ring attire based off Sting's but just different image designs. Bladewolf also had a valet at his side named Trish Stratus. Bladewolf went on to attack Triple H and the McMahon-Helmsley Faction, before taking a microphone and speaking his first words on WWF TV. "Triple H... you're a dead man!"

Bladewolf then became a tweener after this as he feuded with the McMahon-Helmsley Faction, promising to face whoever was WWF Champion the night after King of the Ring which was the Rock. Bladewolf defeated the Rock on the RAW after King of the Ring, winning his 3rd WWF Championship, however George suffered an injury and was forced to vacate the title.

He returned with Trish at SummerSlam, defeating Chris Benoit in Benoit's Open Challenge for the Intercontinental Championship, winning the Intercontinental Championship for the 2nd time in his career. Bladewolf went on to defend the title against all challengers and hold the title well into 2001.

At the 2001 Royal Rumble, Bladewolf eliminated 10 men and eliminated Stone Cold Steve Austin to win the match and his first Royal Rumble victory. Bladewolf retained the Intercontinental Championship at No Way Out in a fatal 5-Way match.

Bladewolf then confronted new WWF Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin the next night on RAW and the two would face each other at WrestleMania for the WWF Championship and Intercontinental Championship in a Winner Takes All match for the first time since the Hogan vs Warrior match at WrestleMania 6.

Over the weeks leading to WrestleMania, tension would boil between the two as Vince McMahon made Debra the Bladewolf's manager, and made Trish Stratus Stone Cold's manager.

At WrestleMania 17, despite Austin turning heel and alligning with Vince McMahon, Bladewolf managed to defeat Austin
