SmackDown was live at the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. The show opened with a recap of what happened on RAW during Undertaker's WWF Championship match with Stone Cold Steve Austin, where the Two-Man Power Trip beat down Undertaker and Kane brutally to the point of injuring them. However, it had been announced that the Bladewolf was going to be on SmackDown to address this.
OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!
'Oh, ah, ah, ah, ah! Get up, come on get down with the sickness!'
Down with the Sickness by Disturbed played to a loud pop from the fans and out comes the Bladewolf with Trish Stratus at his side, trish dressed in black leather pants and a black tanktop and black leather jacket and cowgirl hat. The Bladewolf holding his baseball bat in hand as he rolls his shoulders and neck before he and Trish strat making their way down towards the ring with fierce looks on their faces.
"And here comes the Bladewolf with his girlfriend, Trish Stratus at his side." Cole said. "And Bladewolf does not look happy one bit, not after what happened to his brothers on RAW this past Monday at the hands of Triple H and Stone Cold Steve Austin."
"i wouldn't want to be the one who gets in the way of that man when he's angry." Tazz said with a shiver.
The Bladewolf and Trish enter the ring and Bladewolf grabs a microphone as his theme dies down and he paces back and fourth, walking around Trish as he swings the bat like he wanted to hit someone but hands the bat to Trish as he continues to pace back and fourth.
"I wasn't on RAW this past Monday night." Bladewolf said after he took deep breaths to calm himself. "I was busy nursing a shot to the skull from a sledgehammer that triple H needed to defeat me and my brother at Backlash. triple H and Austin must think they're so tough, when they needed a sledgehammer, a pathetic old man, and that bitch Triple H married, to beat the Brothers of Destruction. So I was watching RAW, waiting to see my brother beat the crap out of Austin... and what do I see instead? Austin and Triple attacking my brothers like common thugs and beating them to the point they have been injured and will be for the next several weeks. How does that make me feel? It's pissed me off! Austin, Triple H, let me give you a VERY Good warning, you mess with my family, and I will hurt you. And guess what, you've hurt my family, so I'm gonna hurt you, and I'm gonna hurt you so bad your mothers are going to wish they kept their legs closed."
"Woah." Cole said as he and Tazz shared looks.
Bladewolf continued to pace back and fourth. "I also got some news for you, Austin, news that I don't think you've been informed of yet. You see, when you beat me on the night after WrestleMania for the WWF title, i had a guranteed rematch that i wanted to gave the night I came back, but I spoke with Linda McMahon and guess what? I will be invoking my rematch clause for the WWF Championship at Judgment Day, and because of how pissed off I am, because of how much I want to hurt you badly without anyone getting involved in this, our match... is Hell in a Cell!"
"What?!" Cole shouted as the crowd popped loudly. "Austin and Bladewolf inside Hell in a Cell at Judgment Day?!"
"That's huge!" Tazz said. "it's gonna be hell come Judgment Day, Cole!"
"Austin... you're on the highway to hell, boy. I'm gonna hurt you and I'm gonna hurt you badly starting tonight." Bladewolf growled. "Somebody is going to get hurt tonight, and I'm going to make sure of that."
Bladewolf drops the microphone and his theme plays as he and Trish leave the ring and head up the ramp to the back.
"So at Judgment Day, it's going to be the Bladewolf vs Stone Cold Steve Austin inside Hell in a Cell for the WWF Championship!" Cole said...
The first match on SmackDown! was for the Intercontinental Championship, as Triple H defended his title against the man he won it from - Jeff Hardy. Matt Hardy and Lita accompanied Jeff to the ring, Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley seconded the Game, and Stone Cold came to ringside to provide color commentary for the bout. A few minutes into the bout... THE BLADEWOLF COMES OUT FROM THE CROWD AND ATTACKS AUSTIN!
Bladewolf hammers away on Austin with furious right hands to the forehead of the WWF Champion. Austin manages to escape and run up the ramp with Bladewolf in pursuit. Back in the ring, Triple H beats Jeff Hardy and runs after Bladewolf and Austin to help his partner.
Backstage, Bladewolf is shown looking for Austin... WHEN AUSTIN ATTACKS HIM FROM BEHIND! Bladewolf and Austin slug it out with each other as they punch each other until Bladewolf knees Austin in the stomach then grabs him... AND TOSSES HIM THROUGH A GLASS WINDOW!
"I told you I was gonna hurt you, Austin!" Bladewolf yelled as referees came to get in between them and keep Bladewolf back. Bladewolf yells some more before he walks off as Mr. McMahon and Triple H found Austin in a bloody heap, cluctching his eyes and screaming that he couldn't see!
Moments later, the Rattlesnake told a trainer that he couldn't see a thing out of his left eye. Triple H suggested that he may have glass in his eye - and the trainer immediately called for an ambulance.
Next up, X-Pac took on Raven. Despite attempted interference by Albert and Justin Credible, Raven reversed an X-Factor into a DDT for the win. After the bout, Albert downed Raven with a Baldobomb.
Backstage, EMTs wheeled Austin to a waiting ambulance, as the Rattlesnake screamed that he didn't deserve this. The Game got in the ambulance with Austin and screamed at the driver to leave for the hospital.
"C-Mon let's go!" triple H called to the driver.
"Driver go!" Austin shouted.
The driver then revealed himself... TO BE THE BLADEWOLF!
"Hello boys!" Bladewolf grinned. "What's the hurry?!"
Triple H was quick to get out the ambulance as Bladewolf followed and clobbers Triple H, then tosses him aginst a car, knocks Vince aside and pulls Austin out of the ambulance on the gunray.
"Remember me, Austin?!" Bladewolf demanded before he starts hammering away on Austin, despite the fact Austin has glass in his eye. Triple H attacked Bladewolf from behind, but Bladewolf knocks Triple h off and clobbers him in the skull, then goes back to hammer away on Austin.
"Security! Security get over here!" Vince yells as Bladewolf keeps up his attack on Austin.
Security arrives and pulls Bladewolf off Austin and away from him. Bladewolf shoves them off him. "Don't touch me! Don't ever touch me!" Bladewolf walked away as Austin is put in the ambulance which drives off with Triple H going with Austin.
As Kurt Angle looked for Chris Benoit backstage, he ran into a make-up woman, and told her that if she saw Benoit, she was to tell him right away.
In the McMahon/Helmsley locker room, Vince and Stephanie were talking about all the night's events when Debra walked in. Mrs. Austin said she couldn't find her husband anywhere, and she asked if something was wrong. Mr. McMahon tried to calmly tell her the news, but Stephanie spilled the beans! The Federation chairman said he would get Debra a ride to the hospital, and also told her that the Bladewolf was still in the arena, if she wanted to get his side of the story.
Moments later, Debra finds the locker room of the Bladewolf and enters to see Bladewolf pacing in the room with Trish sitting on the couch when they noticed her enter and Trish stood and held her boyfriend back.
"What do you want?" Trish demanded coldly as she faced Debra.
"I want to know what his deal is with my husband." Debra said. "My husband better be okay after what your boyfriend did to him! How can you even love a man like him?!"
"The sex for one thing." Trish shrugged. "Anyway, your husband started this whole mess when he made a deal with Vince at WrestleMania, then he further made this personal when he and Triple H took out the Undertaker and Kane. If you want to start something. I'll be happy to make you my bitch... bitch."
Debra backs off as Bladewolf puts his arm around Trish. "Why don't you go see your husband in the hospital and spend all the time you can with him, because he may not be able to do anything once I'm through with him at Judgment Day." Bladewolf said and Debra was quick to leave as Bladewolf and Trish shared a look with each other.
ithout his gold medals, Kurt Angle headed to the ring to meet Hardcore Holly. Hardcore carried a glass of milk with him to the ring, and asked Kurt, "Got medals?" A few minutes into the bout, Chris Benoit's music came on, and the Wolverine came out to the stage - carrying Angle's medals! Benoit's presence was a distraction to Angle, who soon threw Hardcore out of the ring and went after the Wolverine! But Holly chased Angle down and brought him back to the ring. Angle soon regained the advantage and went for the ankle lock, but as he was cinching it in, Benoit got a microphone and told Angle that if he was looking for his medals, they would be right around the Wolverine's neck!
A distracted Angle was then rolled up and pinned by Hardcore Holly! An irate Angle then went for Benoit, but the Wolverine was already gone!
Hand in hand, Mr. McMahon and Stephanie walked to the ring. Mr. McMahon asked the fans what was wrong with them - Kane kicks Stephanie, and they cheer. Bladewolf throws Stone Cold through a window, and they cheer. Mr. McMahon asked the crowd where their morals were, and he promised that they wouldn't be cheering when Bladewolf met his mystery opponent, who had a grudge to pick with the Demon Wolf.
The crowd cheered loudly when the Bladewolf himself walked out with no music and started making his way towards the ring.
"That's far enough." Vince said but the Bladewolf continued walking. "I said that's far enough!"
Bladewolf ignored Vince as he walked up the steel steps and enters the ring, but he just starts circling the WWF Chairman without even looking at him.
"I don't know what you're intentions are but this is not the time." Vince said. "This is not the time for you to take on my opponent of choosing. You think you're so big, you think you're so bad, let me remind you of something, I'm Vince McMahon, dammit!"
Bladewolf stops... AND PUNCHES VINCE IN THE FACE!
Vinc egot knocked clean out with that punch as the crowd cheers loudly. Bladewolf looks down at Vince before he slowly lifts his head and looks at Stephanie before he picks up the microphone and walks towards her as she backs into the corner and Bladewolf corners her.
"When daddy wakes up... tell him the Bladewolf took back his Hunting grounds." Bladeowlf growled darkly, almost demonically.
Bladewolf backs off as his theme plays while Stephanie looks terrified. Bladewolf leaves the ring and starts making his way up the ramp to the back. He will not stop until everyone responsible for hurting his brothers pay and pay badly...
At the hospital, Coach interviewed Triple H about Stone Cold's condition. An incensed Game said that Austin's eye was in terrible shape, and that the Rattlesnake might never see again. Triple H also said that after tonight, Bladewolf was a dead man.
Moments later, Mr. McMahon iced down his jaw backstage.
He promised Stephanie that the Bladewolf would pay later in the night, when he met the mystery opponent.
In a three-on-two Handicap Match, Matt Hardy and Chris Jericho took on Edge, Christian and Rhyno. During the bout, Eddie Guerrero came to ringside and attacked Edge! That left Edge as easy prey for the Twist of Fate, as Matt and Chris picked up the win!
Stone Cold was then shown arriving at the arena - his left eye heavily bandaged!
Jerry Lynn - who won the Light Heavyweight Championship this past Sunday on HEAT - made his first title defense, taking on Grand Master Sexay. An action-packed match ended when Lynn rolled up Sexay to retain his title - but Lynn had his feet on the ropes when he did so!
Stone Cold paced in the McMahon/Helmsley locker room, and Mr. McMahon asked him to calm down. Austin said he wouldn't calm down, since he was blind in his left eye! Stephanie then asked where Triple H was, and Austin said he had been arrested at the hospital for raising too much hell. Austin said Bladewolf would pay, and that he didn't deserve this, and the Rattlesnake then grabbed a chair and left the locker room.
Moments later, Mr. McMahon talked to someone behind a door - clearly the mystery opponent for the Bladewolf . He told the man not to forget about what Bladewolf had done to him, and to destroy the Demon Wolf.

The couple enter the ring and Bladewolf hands Trish his baseball bat while taking off his coat and dumps it outside the ring, pacing back and fourth as he waits for his opponent to come out and face him.
The crowd boos when Vince comes out. "Bladewolf, in case you don't know it, Austin's back from the hospital. Austin's back and so is... Rikishi!"
Rikishi's theme plays as Rikishi comes out and starts making his way towards the ring. Bladewolf rolls his shoulders as he knows he has a score to settle with Rikishi from earlier this year when Rikishi and Haku had their problems with the Brothers of Destruction.
Trish gets out the ring as Rikishi enters and the referee calls for the bell.
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
Bladewolf attacks Rikishi right off the bat and starts hammering away on Rikishi.
Bladewolf hammers away on Rikishi but gets shoved back by Rikishi. Rikishi charges forward and floors Bladewolf with a clothesline. Rikishi rebounds off the ropes and hits a running elbow drop on Bladewolf's stomach, causing the former WWF Champion to clutch his stomach in pain.
Rikishi pulls Bladewolf to his feet before he Irish whips him into the corner, runs and nails a turnbuckle clothesline that makes Bladewolf fall onto his front. Bladewolf tries getting to his feet but Rikishi brings an elbow down on Bladewolf's back then jumps and slams down on Bladewolf's back with his body. Rikishi gets to his feet as Bladewolf weakly pulls himself up using the ropes and turns around into a knifedge chop to the throat from Rikishi, dropping the former WWF Champion.
Rikishi pulls Bladewolf to his feet before he Irish whips him into the ropes and Bladewolf comes running into a back body drop by Rikishi. Bladewolf rolls out of the ring as Rikishi follows and grabs him before Rikishi rams Bladewolf's head off the steel steps, then drops the former WWF Champion with a hard punch to his face. Rikishi grabs Bladewolf and Irish whips him into the steel steps hard.
Rikishi grabs Bladewolf again, lifts him onto his shoulder and hits a powerslam on the floor. Rikishi picks Bladewolf up and tosses him back into the ring before sliding in after him. Rikishi drags him into the corner where Rikishi gets up onto the middle turnbuckle... AND HITS THE BANZAI DROP! HE GOES FOR THE COVER! ONE! TWO! THRE-! BLADEWOLF JUST BARELY KICKED OUT!
Rikishi grabs Bladewolf and irish whips him into the corner hard before he runs and hits a leaping body splash on Bladewolf in the corner, then hoists Bladewolf up again, looking for the Sitout Piledriver but Bladewolf slides off Rikishi's shoulder and shoves him forward and Rikishi turns around only to be lifted up onto Bladewolf's shoulders to a pp from the fans but Rikishi gets off and Bladewolf turns around... INTO A SUPERKICK! RIKISHI HOOKS THE LEG! ONE! TWO! THRE-! BLADEWOLF KICKS OUT AGAIN!
Rikishi stands up as he seems unable to believe it and shakes his head before he turns around... AND BLADEWOLF SITS UP! Rikishi lands some hits that do no damage or affect Bladewolf at all. Bladewolf blocks a right from Rikishi and lands one of his own before he Irish whips him across the ring, hits the turnbuckle clothesline and lifts Rikishi onto his shoulder and... NAILS SNAKE EYES! Bladewolf backs up as Rikishi turns around only to be lifted onto Bladewolf's right shoulder... AND SLAMMED WITH A RUNNING POWERSLAM!
Bladewolf stands and raises his right hand, signalling the Chokeslam as the fans are on their feet. Rikishi gets to his feet and turns around... INTO A GOOZLE! Bladewolf lifts Rikishi up... AND PLANTS HIM WITH A CHOKESLAM!
Bladewolf then spots Austin coming down with a steel chair in hand and Trish tosses the baseball bat to Bladeowlf who caught it and points the bat at Austin, forcing him to stop. Austin lunges but Bladewolf walks forward, causing Austin to back off but he left the chair in the ring.
Bladewolf uses his foot to slide the chair away from Austin befor ehe whirls around... AND SMACKS RIKISHI WITH THE BASEBALL BAT! Bladewolf hands the bat to Trish, picks up the steel chair... AND SMACKS RIKISHI WITH THE CHAIR! Bladewolf raises the chair and starts assaulting Rikishi with it in the same way Auston and Triple H attacked Undertaker and Kane on RAW.
Bladewolf dropped the chair and grabs his baseball bat, pointing it at Austin as his theme plays. At Judgment Day, it'll be the Bladewolf vs Stone Cold Steve Austin once again for the WWF Championship, but this time it will be inside Hell in a Cell...
